What if, during the final fight of the Winter War between Ichigo and Aizen, Ichigo gets Isekaied, and Aizen is dragged along with him? I’ve never felt like Ichigo had any personal dislike over Aizen and just responded to the threat he posed to himself, his friends, and his family. Aizen isn't the sort to go on a rampage for no reason, especially in a world where such actions would have no benefits. Thus an uneasy truce between the two is formed though Ichigo doesn't trust Aizen not to try something like taking over this new world and stabbing Ichigo in the back so he can't stand in his way so Ichigo keeps a close eye on Aizen.
I’m not sure whether I like the idea of these two having all the powers they had before or being dragged down to Level 1 and forced to learn the rules and powers in this world. Both have potential and I think it would be really interesting to see an Aizen completely stripped of his Godlike power and be forced to use his natural physical strength and intelligence without the Reiatsu to boost him further.
I think Ichigo would be focused on returning home as soon as possible either way because, with the way they left, he’d be uncertain about the health and safety of those he cares about. However, he’s also aware that he needs to keep an eye on Aizen to make sure he doesn't try anything in this new world when it is in a time of turmoil, especially as Aizen is a master manipulator and the people in this new world don't know to be wary of him and if Ichigo tried to explain it would become Aizen’s word against his.

What if Bilbo had a sister (or brother, either works), and they both went on the adventure? Thorin falls in love with Bilbo (of course), and Dwalin falls in love with the sibling. However, both dwarves think the two aren't siblings but married, and Bilbo and the sibling never think to mention their familial relationship since they think it's obvious.
Bilbo and his sister flirt like hobbits with Thorin and Dwalin, but cultural misunderstandings make the two dwarves think they're being friend-zoned and get increasingly depressed.

I know Ichigo isn’t a delinquent but what if he adopted some of their behaviours being realising just because of how much time he spends beating them up. Just certain mannerisms or behaviours that are rather thuggish.
Like one moment he’ll be normal Ichigo and the next he’s acting like a common street thug before he attacks someone (for a good reason).

This isn't necessarily fanfiction but it's still a good story (in my opinion if you disagree let me know :) )
A healer in a hero’s party starts innocent and good with beaming smiles and an exhaustingly optimistic view of the world. She’s the little ray of sunshine in the party and makes all the members feel better physically and emotionally.
When the constant battles exhaust them, and they wonder what the point is, she drags them to the nearest town for the day so they can see all the good, normal people living their lives in peace because of what they do. She reminds them what they fight for.
She teaches the rough barbarian how to be gentle, the thieving rouge how to trust people, and the reckless hero how to be patient.
One minor problem: none of them seems to notice how integral she is to the team's morale or her value as a healer.
None of them have gotten injured poorly in years, so according to them, she’s just an addition that is nice to have around but not needed. She notices because, of course, she does. She may be cheerful and innocent, but she isn't blind or a fool. She notices, and it hurts, but she hides it behind her bright and cheerful smile.
She notices all the slights against her, no matter how small and subtle, and keeps them close to her chest, collecting them and remembering them all. She keeps them close till they weigh on her heart and mind heavily and begin to poison her.
No one notices, of course, because she’s subtle. She’s gotten very good at hiding her true feelings from the rest of the party.
She has seen unspeakable evil right beside them. She has fought the same enemies and been weighed down by the sacrifices they have had to make. She hid those pesky weaknesses behind the same smile that cheers up the whole team, so why would they notice when her smile no longer meets her eyes which darken with a growing ugly emotion that has taken root inside her and haunts her every step.
Then at last there is a betrayal she can never forgive and she finds herself hating those around her.
She is clever, and she is patient. She can continue to be the same day of sunshine they all know, even as she plots how to destroy them. After all, she’s saved their lives so many times she has the right to take it away.

What if they never tell him even when he dies and goes to Soul Society and immediately gets a job because he thinks he’s broke, but in reality, he’s the richest guy there? They're all just laughing at him but also really hope he never finds out and retires.

I just learned that Ichigo gets paid and the Shinigami didnt bother to even tell him.

This can be a crossover with any Isekai story, but what if Ichigo, after the Winter War, when he’s alone and without most of his soul, falls into a different world with magic and monsters?
He’s still very depressed at first because he has no soul, no powers. He’s used to no friends or family, but then he opens his inventory (it takes him a while to figure out how because this thing doesn't come with a manual), and he has two level-locked items.
He can't see them, but he’s certain they're Zangetsu and the Hollow, which he is surprisingly happy to have back. He plunges himself from one battle to another in a constant desperate bid to gain more levels. He doesn't care how injured he gets. He *needs* Zangetsu and the Hollow.
He fights opponents massively above his level without hesitation or fear because he realises that will make him level up faster and needs his powers back. He needs his soul back. He doesn't stop for a moment to heal or rest; he just keeps fighting, challenging stronger and stronger opponents to get those level-locked items.

I started learning French recently and it got me thinking about translation spells and how they would work because in most other languages the order of words gets switched around. For example (I only know a few basic phrases so don't judge me) in French to say an English woman its une femme anglaise which as you say it is: a woman English.
With a translation spell, would it predict what you're about to say and say an English woman or a woman English? Now I’m sure there are far better examples in French that I just don't know yet but I have drawn three possible outcomes of a translation spell.
First is where it tries to predict what you're about to say, in which case, occasionally, it's going to get it wrong.
Second, it will say it in the order you have said it, which is bound to cause some confusion, perhaps less so in my example, but again, there are probably better ones out there I just haven't learnt yet.
Third, the translation spell will wait for you to say the entire sentence before it translates it, but it will be in perfect grammar. However, most would really struggle to keep the flow of conversation going in this scenario if only because of the long pauses waiting for the translation spell to catch up.

What if the Company slipped forward in time while in Rivendell to when Frodo, Merry Pippin, and Sam were all there along with Gimli and Legolas before the fellowship formed?
Fili and Kili are going to get along with Merry and Pippin like a house on fire. The trouble they would cause together would be legendary.
Gloin would be all over his son Gimli, gushing about how well he grew up and how proud he is.
It would be inevitable, though, that they would find out about the success and failure of their quest.

What if when a hobbit’s life is threatened they go feral? Animal instinct takes over completely they feel no pain can't distinguish friend from foe and will bite and scratch and do anything to survive.
They become seemingly invincible, unaffected by any injury in this feral state. Many hobbits entered this feral state during the Fell Winter when wolves and starvation threatened them.
The company discovers this quirk when Bilbo goes feral during the Troll attack when he scratches and claws at anyone who comes close to him—throwing himself at the trolls again and again, seemingly unaffected when they slap him away like an annoying fly. Even when shoved in a sack ready to be eaten, he growled and hissed, biting at the ropes.
When morning comes, and the trolls turn to stone, he’s freed from his sack, and immediately, he attacks the nearest dwarf. Only when Gandalf speaks to him is he calm enough to come out of the feral state and immediately collapse.

What if Ichigo, other than protecting his family and friends, was morally closer to a villain?
He fights to protect his family and friends, and that's great, but he has no problems beating the snot out of people or sending them to the hospital. Exhibit A is when we first see him beating up some punks because they broke a vase, probably accidentally. Yes, he was doing it for the dead girl, which was nice of him, but did those guys really deserve broken noses and potentially broken jaws?
Then there's the fact that he really doesn't care about any hollow activity that he doesn't see in the beginning. He is willing to let the world around him burn so long as he doesn't see it and his family and friends aren't in trouble. He only agrees to be a Soul Reaper, killing Hollows because he feels indebted to Rukia. He goes to Soul Society to save her for the same reason and also because she is now a friend whom he will protect.
Then there's the whole ‘saving the world thing’; if Aizen hadn't forced him into it with the kidnapping of Orihime and the targeting of Kurakura Town, I can't see him fighting against Soul Society. Instead, I think he’d instead take his family and friends somewhere safe and look the other way.
Of course, there's the potential end of the world and being one of the idiots in it, Ichigo might feel compelled to help, but I always got the sense that Ichigo fought as fiercely as he did because HIS home was at stake. His family and friends were in danger, and he had to protect them.
Forgive me if my knowledge of the TYBW is a little spotty, but was he not also specifically targeted in the beginning?
Anyway, the point of this whole rant was to propose a fanfiction idea, so here it is.
What if, after all the villains have been defeated and wars won, Ichigo decides there's one more threat to his family and friends that he has to deal with?
Soul Society is shit. That's a well-known truth to him, Kon being the first indicator. There's Rukia’s execution and the Vizard backstory and the declaring Orihime a traitor without much proof, the badge, the Rukongai, the fact Aizen could pretend to be Central 46 and give out outlandish orders, and everyone just nodded their empty heads in agreement. I could keep going!
What if Ichigo didn't just sweep this under the rug and accept it but kept a list of the shitty things Soul Society has done, and when his friends and family were safe, he decided to do something about it? Ichigo was never one for the diplomatic approach but most Soul Reapers think of him as the saviour of Soul Society they definitely wouldn't expect his sword to suddenly turn on them.
But it does because his friends are getting older with each passing year, and they're all going to end up here in Soul Society eventually. Rome wasn't built in a day but it burned down in one.
What if Ichigo decided to destroy Soul Society and rebuild it before his friends could die and arrive in Soul Society?

What if Bilbo Baggins had wanted and trained to become a bounder as a tween(?)? Its well established that Bilbo had been adventurous as a child and after his parents’ death he became far more subdued and respectable. In becoming or training to become a bounder, he’d have satisfied the Took side of himself while also preparing for any potential adventures he may have.
What if, during the Fell Winter, a certain white orc on a white warg showed up with a large group of orcs and began raiding the smials? Now, young, reckless bounder Bilbo would most likely rally his other young bounder friends and go out to face the orcs, successfully driving them out of the Shire. Unfortunately, because of their injuries, the cold, starvation or some other event, Bilbo’s friends die during the winter.
Bilbo blamed himself for their deaths, for he was the one who rallied them against the orcs, led them out of the safety of the smials, and caused their demise. As a result, he laid down his weapons and swore never to do something so incredibly silly again.
Skip forward to when the party of dwarrow arrives on his doorstep. Already confused, overwhelmed, and a little angry, when Bilbo hears that Thorin is leading this group of thirteen to a dragon lair and likely their death, he remembers his past foolishness and punches Thorin hard in a moment of pure rage.

Part 2 I guess.
Ok, this is a reference to a previous post I made where Peter Parker has a sister who is also bitten by the spider, but she gets the most useless powers.
So she knows about her inability to thermoregulate and that she can hiss by vibrating but she didn't know she has an exoskeleton until someone, probably HYDRA, tries to kidnap Peter.
She and Peter are walking home one day from school when the van pulls up. They're in civilian clothes, and a few people are on the street, so Peter automatically slows his reflexes so no one finds out he’s Spiderman. He gets hit by a tranquilliser or ten and goes down. His sister is also shot, but they just kind of bounce off her. The vibrations of the impact hurt, but it's manageable. After a moment of celebrating that she has a skill that isn't useless, the people trying to kidnap her and Peter bring out guns—proper ones with real bullets.
They shoot her a couple of times, and her exoskeleton cracks but doesn't break fully, the bullets lodged into bone. It's agony for her and she doesn't have Peter’s speed or strength so she just falls.
Spiders don't sleep they go into states of inactivity completely aware of everything going on around them. When she falls she isn't knocked unconscious her body shuts down forcing her into a state of inactivity aware constantly of the pain and unable to escape it.
She still has bullets lodged in her exoskeleton, and it hurts. She tries to distract herself by counting the steps, each vibrating excruciatingly through her body until they drop her unceremoniously on the bed. Unfortunately, she and her brother aren't the only ones who have been captured. I can feel them when they approach and examine us for any injuries. Every step muttered word, and heartbeat vibrated through my body in a constant overwhelming wave I've had to get used to over the months. She slowly pulled out of her own mind and immediately reached for Peter.
Her glasses were broken, and she couldn't see without them. She couldn't hear much since getting bitten but could feel the vibrations around her. She could feel the other people around her speaking, and when they began to argue, she could feel their voices like needles against her skin, and it hurt so much.
She had never felt so useless.

I really like the idea of Ichigo leaving Japan after losing his powers because he feels betrayed/abandoned/like a burden, but what if he didn't know the language? Or he did know the language, but he went somewhere where the accent was thick, so it took him a long time to figure out what anyone was saying.
Now I also like Bleach and DC/Marvel crossovers, and there's no way Ichigo is going to stop beating up thugs just because he can't understand what the heck they're saying. So eventually he draws the attention of a hero group and they either try to persuade him to stop or ask him to join but he still has no idea what they're saying so he's just:

What if the Sōkyoku was lonely? It's a zanpakuto, so it's probably, in a sense, alive, but I don't think it's got an actual wielder, and only the wielder can speak to a zanpakuto unless they're manifested in the real world. Executions requiring the Sōkyoku probably don't happen often, so it probably goes decades without being unsealed, and its only interaction is with the people it's about to destroy.
If that's the case, imagine if Ichigo is training in the mountain below it; it sort of reaches out in curiosity. What if the Sōkyoku somehow manages to communicate with Ichigo while he’s training for Bankai? What if it gets really attached to him, so when Ichigo is blocking Rukia, it starts cuddling up to him like a touch-starved puppy of a kitten?

Imagine if Rey (no one/Palpatine/Skywalker) had a personality that fit her origin story. So she’s a scavenger on a backwater planet where she has to claw her way through life every day to get enough food to live.
Surely, she should, at the very least, have abandonment and trust issues or, at the very least, questionable morals. If survival is your top priority, morals kind of fall by the wayside. You don't go through hell and come out a saint without an incredibly dark character arc.
Make her suspicious and wary of a stranger's intentions. Make her selfish and give her a Han Solo arc. She should look at BB8 and immediately think of the monetary value of such a droid. Make her resentful of her circumstances and her parents who left her there alone on this world.

Sometimes I wonder where Bullroarer Took’s club ended up. Did it get thrown away after the hobbit's death? Is it hanging up somewhere?
I like to imagine that Bilbo has it somewhere in his Smial, and if he’d been more angry than confused by Thorin’s grocer comment, he might have gone to get it. The dwarves would have been sitting down at the table when Bilbo walked in carrying this massive club over his shoulder that was almost as tall as he was. That Bilbo slams it down on the table rather proudly and declares that ‘this is my weapon of choice’.
