Danny turned the knob on the door to the old janitor closet and stepped out only to pause.

This was not his high-school. Instead he was in a fancy office of some kind with a bunch of blueprints on a desk. Oh well, his portal powers were new and still developing so when he realized he would be late for school even if he flew he decided to use his new ability and aim for a closet he knew the cleaning crew only used sparingly.

At least he partially succeeded. It was a cleaning closet, just not the cleaning closet. He knew he should hurry and at least try to get to school on time but he also knew that it would be a waste of effort, besides those blueprints looked pretty interesting.

It only took a moment before Danny spotted something wrong with the first blueprint and out of habit of correcting his own parents blueprints so they don't explode and whatnot, he grabbed a red pen and began correcting mistakes and leaving little notes and helpful suggestions. He even drew up blueprints for new parts to make the energy consumption for one blueprint design functional.

"Wha-how did you get in here?!"

Danny jolted, dropping the pen and papers as a tall man stood in the doorway,probably Mr. Fox if the nameplate on the desk was anything to go by. Danny made a quick excuse about Narnia needing him before ducking back into the closet and flying out and away with his ghost powers...only to find out he's in another dimension and Amity park doesn't exist here and not one but two weird rich people want to adopt him.

He wonders if this red Hood guy would protect him from the horrors of adoption if he asked nicely.

The more I think about it, the more the RWRB fandom is winning because what do you mean we have a book (with a collector edition!) AND an amazingly written film AND an upcoming sequel??

The difference in the film vs book makes it even better because now there’s 2 versions and they’re both good and canon!!

One of my fav changes in the film is that Alex passed Henry his key in exchange for the ring so they both held on to a piece of each other when the leak happened. And that Alex was the one who played the song in the V&A right after Henry said he always wanted to dance with someone he loved there like omg 😭

I just choose whichever bits I prefer and now the mashed up version in my head is the best of both worlds and damn we are so well-fed!!

Im not even going to get started on AO3 content cause the pairing has over 10k fics so it’s just a buffet there.

And of course Taylor and Nic are both such incredible actors. Like honestly what is there not to love about RWRB!!

So I've been thinking, Sonic and Tails 'fight or flight' instincts switch as they get older.

Let me elaborate.

So growing up Sonic was pure fight instinct when he was younger. Just head first into any fight and he's not backing down for nothing, he's gonna find a way to win that fight no matter what.

But as he gets older he's got Tails to look after and all their other friends that follow him into danger. So now he's more willing to take an L, pull back, regroup and think of a plan in, relative, safety. So he's still not backing down from the over all fight but he develops a flight instinct and does run away when things get too bad in that moment. (basically 'lose the battle when the war' mindset is something he develops over the years aka flight)

Tails meanwhile is the complete opposite. Tails grew up on his own only learning how to run away and hide from those who wanted to hurt him. Then he met Sonic.

Sonic not only helped protect Tails and had his back, but Tails grew up watching Sonic only have a fight instict. And little kids love to imitate anyone older than them and we've seen Tails do this before.

So Tails is just pure fight instict as he gets older, which has Sonic having some regrets™ on how he raised Tails.

Essentially what I'm saying with this whole post is as they get older Sonic is the one that has to hold back Tails from fights.

I love the breha/bail/fox with no O66 and it super funny to see fox adjust to being a civilian/royalty, especially with the royal guard looking after him (even before the war ends.)

Something I think that is even more funny is the rest of the corries getting this good treatment by the guards and also being just an inept at accepting the help. They're like 'of course fox gets special treatment hes royalty!' But when they get it they're like 'wtf is this? What do i do with this?'

Haha yeah, adjusting to being charge but also...not being in charge? Comes little by little to Fox. The instincts are strong. He tries really hard not to speak to people who are practically his employees like he's an army commander, he thinks it just makes everybody feel weird. But also the Royal Guard is very loyal to him because Fox is loyal to them, at the end of the day!

And yes, it's the "wtf we also get treated like people??" for the rest of the Corries, because no, guys, just because Fox is royalty does not mean that all the good treatment and help goes to him, there isn't like...a limit to it? Okay?

Also after the war the Corrie's REVEL in getting to push Fox behind their backs and act protective because during the war Fox was always at the front everywhere they went but not anymore! He's their Commander forever, sure, but not officially, so he cannot tell them what to do!

so i’ve been thinking of the moment in TBONA where evangeline decides to take the mirth stone from the clock in the hollow, knowing it will change things. i really admire how she keeps doing the right thing (in her mind, at least) instead of the easy thing, like she doesn’t settle for anything but keeps going until the good things are real and come naturally and feel right.

and that’s not an easy thing to do. but she has a really really good point there. she keeps her heart soft and open but honest as well, which i’ve found requires a lot of strength.

The thing about me is I’m a fan of overly complicated long running tv shows or narratives like dr who or Star Trek or supernatural or procedural dramas or soap operas or telenovelas. Bc that’s what I grew up on. If you want a fandom opinion of which ship is better or what side to take in a fight my answer will be what’s the most dramatic? What’s the most satisfying story? Yeah but what if the show went another few seasons and it was a slow burn with character development in other relationships?

Okay so this isn’t my idea, idk who thought of this first but I wanna just give my thoughts on it. So basically the idea was that Nine had captured Shadow and was using him as bait to lure Sonic the the Grim. And I saw people theorising this when the trailer dropped cus Sonic says ‘he messes with one of us, he messes with all of us’ or smth and Shadow was noticeably absent and that got people (including) me thinking that Nine had captured Shadow because he knew how important Shadow was the Sonic. Cus Shadows Sonic’s last connection to Green hill. And Nine at this point should know how much Sonic misses Green hill.

But nah that didn’t happened though it was a cool theory people had.
