For those of us that live in the United States, you know how distressing of a time this is. Things look bleak. But you’re not helpless.

Your existence is now an act of resistance. Absolutely do not hide and cower. That’s what bigots want - for us to disappear and die. Take your time to grieve, process, feel your emotions, but once they’re all out, feel that rage.

I know it’s there.

That burning, seething rage. For yourself, for your friends, your family, your community. Let it run, let it burn, feel it. Don’t shy away from it. I know many of us in this community have been socialized so that our rage is a bad thing, it makes you undesirable, emotional, irrational, but that’s because your rage is your power. Your emotion is your power, and the conservatives in power don’t like that.

Unleash it. Give those that try to hurt us hell. Give those that try to hurt your loved ones and your communities hell. Go down clawing and biting, burning things to the ground, using every last scrap of your power, like the beings you are. Remember not just yourself, but those around you. Those who fought before you and those who will fight after you. They’d all be so proud. We can’t just roll over and die.

Remember the being that you are and the power you hold. Make them bleed.

Redesign of my old anthro kitty character Reina!! I need to work on her story a little bit more again as well - she was meant to be involved in some detective crime-solving plot with my partner's OCs, but we never got around to actually figure it out.

This is a big shift in her look, but I wanted to leave a hint of her old coat color (russian blue grey, but darker) as well as her green eyes and large ears (see old art under the cut). I've had her for around 8 years now, and even longer if you consider that she originally was created to continue a different OC but in a cat form as I disliked the previous version (which would count up to 12 years of her existing).
