I’ve seen people ship Fat Gum and Ryukyu together. So how about Fat Absorption and Dragon?
Y'know, that's a fun idea for a couple and they align well in terms of personality, but I have never seen anything about these two together.
New Quirk Name: Dense Dragoon
This Transformation type Quirk allows the user to turn into a large, Western-style dragon. This form is the size of a mini bus and is quite round and heavy. This grants the user minor boosts in physical abilities, able to pick up and toss people aside with ease, and a set of large wings, though the user is too heavy to fly with these. The true power of the Quirk comes from the user's scales. These scales aren't hard, but are quite elastic. This works to absorb impacts done to the user's body, able to withstand heavy explosions without any harm done to the user. This can even have a sinking effect on people that come close to the user, making it hard to escape their draconic form. This gives the user a good tool for defense, able to withstand whatever life throws at them as a mighty dragon to protect themselves and those around them. If nothing else, the user's massive size and be a problem as they smash and hold people with their powerful body. Though the form is based around the user's fat reserves. Being in this form and taking damage will drain their reserves. This will then force the user out into a skinny, exhausted state. The user's large size and great weight can make navigating around complicated.

Huh? Your belly? I suppose it is big and round... Sorry! I don't mean to call you fat I just-
Oh, you like being called fat? I should... touch it?
Wow, that's so... soft... I'd love to... Oh gosh, that's embarrassing... Where did that thought even...
I should be part of it, right...?
Your belly's so cute... So soft... I want to be cute and soft too... Can I... Hold it closer...?
I... love your belly... I am... falling in love with your belly... I want to be your belly... Will you let me... be your fat?
That's why you approached me? You think I'd make a cute fat roll...
I think so too... I think I'm going to... Stop thinking so much now... Fat bellies don't need to think... They just jiggle... And squish...
Fat bellies are so pretty... We're... so pretty...
I'm going to... go away now...
I love you...
I love being you...
Make sure to rub me good, okay??

Copy x Fat Absorption?
New Quirk Name: Absorb
This Transformation type Quirk activates whenever they are hit by the Quirk of another user. The user can then start to protect themselves from the effects of the Quirk, seemingly absorbing them into their body and preventing any damage done to them. The user can then exert the effects of the Quirk back out of their body. The user has some control over the effect as it goes out. By being hit by a Quirk, the user's body can partially understand it, letting them apply the Quirk with some skill. For example, getting hit with a beam of light, the user can take that beam and then fire it back out of their hand. This gives the user an amazing tool for defense, able to withstand whatever kind of harm people throw at them and send it right back. If nothing else, it can help the user to understand the Quirks of others and how to fight against them. Though this process is heavily reliant on the fats of the user to fuel the process. The usage of the Quirk will burn through the user's fat reserves, with excessive usage leaving them defenseless. Trying to take on multiple Quirks or redirect the damaged received will burn fat even faster. The Quirk does nothing to protect against any kind of mundane methods of harming the user.

making brown butter on the stove and wondering why it feels vaguely familiar like there wasn’t a 3 month period of my life where all i did was make/sell/eat edibles
#thats my friend Butter we went to being stoners together#cannabutter was a hyperfixation for a while. im not joking i know im lame#but i was super into it and researched it like wild and did a lot of tests and experiments#i wound up engenering dangerously strong edibles. i had to tell people to only eat a quater#and theyd eat the whole thing and wind up high for like two days#i sometimes miss edibles but also i had so many of them in that period that id throw up if i ever tasted cannabutter again#weed mention#personal#the secret is soy lecithin and ghee btw#cannaboids dont bond with milk solids. ghee is butter without milk solids. so u get more absorption w ghee#and soy lecithin is an emulsifier. it helps the cannaboids bond with the fat and it helps ur body process it faster

Your Health is Better Series - Dealing with Diabetes (2)
A balanced diet, especially one that includes fiber-rich foods, plays a vital role in regulating blood sugar levels for individuals with diabetes. Blood sugar, or glucose, is the main source of energy for the body, but when it is not regulated properly, it can lead to health problems. In this explanation, we’ll break down why a balanced diet and fiber are so important for managing diabetes and how they can help keep your blood sugar levels stable.
What is a Balanced Diet?
A balanced diet includes a variety of foods in the right proportions to provide the nutrients your body needs. These nutrients include carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals. For people with diabetes, the focus of a balanced diet is to control blood sugar levels, which involves eating foods that help prevent spikes in glucose. This typically means focusing on whole foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats while limiting processed foods and sugars.
How Does Fiber Help Regulate Blood Sugar?
Fiber is a type of carbohydrate that the body cannot digest. It comes in two forms: soluble and insoluble. Both types of fiber are beneficial for regulating blood sugar, but they work in different ways.
Soluble fiber dissolves in water to form a gel-like substance. It can help slow the absorption of sugar into your bloodstream, preventing blood sugar spikes after meals. Foods rich in soluble fiber include oats, beans, lentils, apples, and citrus fruits.
Insoluble fiber adds bulk to stool and helps with digestion. While it doesn’t directly affect blood sugar, it promotes overall gut health and can aid in weight management, which is important for blood sugar control. Whole grains, vegetables, and nuts are good sources of insoluble fiber.
Why Is Fiber Important for Diabetes?
Fiber plays several key roles in managing diabetes:
Slows Glucose Absorption: Fiber, especially soluble fiber, slows the rate at which sugar enters your bloodstream. This helps to avoid sharp spikes in blood glucose levels, which is particularly important after meals.
Improves Insulin Sensitivity: Eating fiber-rich foods can improve your body’s ability to respond to insulin, which helps your cells use glucose more efficiently. This is important for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes, as insulin resistance can worsen the condition.
Helps with Weight Management: Foods high in fiber are usually low in calories and take longer to digest, making you feel full for longer. Maintaining a healthy weight is important for blood sugar control, as excess weight can lead to insulin resistance.
Regulates Digestion: Fiber aids digestion and helps prevent constipation, a common issue for people with diabetes. Healthy digestion supports better overall health, making it easier to maintain stable blood sugar levels.
How to Include Fiber in Your Diet?
To get the benefits of fiber, aim to include a variety of fiber-rich foods in your diet:
Whole Grains: Brown rice, quinoa, barley, and whole-wheat products are great sources of fiber.
Fruits and Vegetables: Aim to fill half your plate with non-starchy vegetables, like leafy greens, and fruits with skins, like apples and pears, which are high in fiber.
Legumes: Beans, lentils, and peas are packed with fiber and protein, making them excellent choices for managing blood sugar.
Nuts and Seeds: Almonds, chia seeds, and flaxseeds are high in fiber and healthy fats.

This has come up so much and I've made these comments so many times, but my crusade is endless:
The raw milk crowd is mad at milk homogenization (at least the ones who make these comments). They want pasturized, unhomogenized milk (sometimes called cream line or cream top), and they might be right.
Homogenization makes the fat molecules very small, and then mixes it with the rest of the milk to get a consistent product - instead of the cream-top/creamline milk where the cream separates from the milk. This makes the milk last longer, taste blander but creamier, look whiter, and stops the seperation of the cream from the milk.
Any other effects are disputed. At best, most will agree it makes the milk less nutritious. At worst, it's been blamed for increased heart problems, diabetes, Eosinophillic Esophagitis, and milk allergy (and more! but I'm only considering the actual research). Almost all articles say it "needs further investigation" to determine either way and then how further study is impractical. Current consensus is moving towards the idea that the "complex milk membrane" makes the saturated fatty acids in milk less bad for you (sometimes downright good for you), and that homogenization changes the milk membrane by affecting both the proteins and fats.

The raw milk people don’t even know what raw milk is
#There is also solid evidence that homogenization increase the absorption of fats in premie babies (yay!)#but I've failed to find the logical next step of “what does that mean for other milk drinkers”#love is stored in the cow#my posts

If quirk marriages are ok, then I’d like to request Frog or Rifle and Fat Absorption please.
Going with "Frog".
New Quirk Name: Puff Out
This Transformation type Quirk allows the user to slightly inflate the fats in their bodies by inhaling and then exhaling. While their fat is like this, it makes their fats flexible and adhesive. This can let the user bounce and adhere to whatever comes into contact with them, such as landing on their back only to launch themselves into the air. This helps to protect the user as well, either deflecting or sticking whatever touches them like a punch. This gives the user a good mix of mobility and defense, able to bounce and block whatever comes their way. They can grapple with their foes, crawl around on surfaces, block incoming attacks, bounce around to scout a location, or just use it to burn fat faster. Though using this Quirk in any fashion does slowly wear down on the user's fat supply, requiring them to restock it and potentially leaving them exposed if forced too use it too much. The user's fats can be burned faster at colder temperatures.

oof. I don't know what it is about the change to a diurnal schedule, but whatever it is is making the accutane side effects kick in hard.
All of the sudden my eyes are so dry I can't wear contacts at all. My eyes are red all day even with eyedrops. Wearing my glasses all day also hurts a bit behind the ears and gives me a headache. In fact everything just kind of hurts. It's whatever nothing is that bad to the point where it's not worth it. It's just weird having my body react in ways it hasn't before.
#I think it might be my eating habits are different and it's messing with absorption#because it's a fat soluble molecule and all that#I've been kind of all over the place because I don't want to wake up and have yogurt and nuts at 6am like I did when I woke up at 5pm#but also I am sleeping less#a normal amount for a human but less than my hypersomniac self was doing on a typical day#although I couldn't fall asleep last night and I definitely think that has exacerbated all of today's weirdness

What are your thoughts on power accumulation type Quirks?
I'm of two minds on it. On the one hand, I think the system of Quirks desperately needs some new classifications for it. Only having three categories for such a diverse system is asinine. It's needlessly constraining, and it can lead to a lot of confusion on how certain Quirks manifest or are grouped. I think that more categories or subcategories could help a lot to clear that up and could help make the system and the powers within it more distinct. However, I dislike the concept of Accumulation type Quirks in and of themselves. They're such a specific category of Quirk that I wonder why they're even cited as a type of Quirk. I can only think of a few Quirks that even fit with it. That being "Stress", "Fat Absorption", "Copy", "Rewind", "One For All", and "All For One". And even some of those I'm not sure about because "accumulation" is so nebulous. Like, is "Creation" considered an Accumulation Quirk because Momo needs to build up fats? I guess it doesn't matter because after that bit with Monoma and Eri, it's never mentioned again. It just feels like it was introduced to explain why Monoma couldn't copy certain abilities like "Rewind" and "One For All" and potentially set up some of the mechanics of the Ones.
