You know what? Fuck you. *Ponifies Batman*
Guys I'm so excited to share my newest project of ponifying the Batfam, it started out small with the hypothetical "I wonder what Batman would be like in a mlp universe." And then the project kept getting bigger and bigger.
If anyones interested in my world building/ headcanons surrounding this project, you can see it under the cut. (I didn't want to make the post too long.)
Incase anybody couldn't read my bad handwriting, I gotchuuu.
-(First pic) Bruce Wayne: Bruce had got his cutiemark the night of his parents death, after the grief had broken his spirit and he realized that he never wanted anypony else to feel the same pain as he does. (He has a fake cutiemark to cover up his obvious destiny)
- The first pic is pretty self explanatory, but I want to make it clear that Bruce's destiny isn't "My parents are dead so now I dress up as a bat and beat up mentally ill folk". Because I've seen people on here give hot takes on cutiemarks that directly link them to a ponies destiny.
This goes for specifically in the mlp fandom but (for the sake of being on topic) I'll use the the example of that one post where someone gave the hot take that Jason would get his cutiemark in the warehouse right before he dies (or after he dies? smthing like that) because "It would be really fucked up to know that you were always destined to die." And listen, I can appreciate some good Jason Todd whump as the next guy but knowing that this would be based in a mlp universe . . . just doesn't sit right with me.
It sounds less magical that way. Its like saying that Rainbow Dash was always meant to be the fastest flyer, so theres no point in trying to compete with her. So uhm, trying to stay on topic here. My personal hot take is that a pony's cutiemark is symbol of something that they do/ a skill or talent that they have that makes them happy. And whats a more magical and fulfilling destiny than doing something that makes you happy for the rest of your life?
Looping back to Bruce, he didn't get his cutiemark the moment his parents died, but I like to think that he got it sometime later on in the night. After hours of being checked on by the police, getting looked at by the paramedics, and after Alfred took him home. Its 1:40ish in the morning and tiny foal-Bruce is just staring at his bedroom wall feeling numb and dissociated to hell. And sometime after processing everything that night- he just decides that this is the worst thing that has ever happened to him and that he will do anything to make sure that nopony will ever feel the same pain that he has felt. And then-- Ta da!! Cutiemark!! Too bad neither he or Alfred got to experience the excitement when they both saw it the next day :')
(Edit: I didn't know where to put this detail, but Bruce's fake cutiemark is based off of the "Make It Wayne" TV logo from this fanfic here )
-(Second pic) The Bat: This is heavily inspired by Flutterbat, I know theres canonically already a race of bat ponies made from Lunas stunt as Nightmare Moon. But I chose to go through with the Flutterbat route because batponies are a race, and have bat-like features 24/7. In comparison Fluttershy maintains her pegasus appearance by day and transforms into Flutterbat at night (ALSO with there being implications that there are "Triggers" for her transformations in the day too!!) Which adds the "Vampire." right in front of her batpony title.
I might do a lil comparison chart between vampire batponies and regular batponies in the future or something. But for now I'm focusing on my batpony Bruce Wayne headcanons so yea. My point is that I felt like making Bruce a "vampire" batpony would give him a more solid secret identity with also the bonus of a really metal origin story.
Now we all know that the canonical origin story of batman is that a few months after the tragedy of his parents death, Bruce had fallen into a cave? a well? a pit? of bats and triggered a fear of bats since then. Later on he decides to become Batman so he can invoke the fear of bats he once had into the criminals of Gotham. Yadda yadda yadda.
Now canonically, we don't know the exact science on how Fluttershy turned into Flutterbat. What we do know is that at the time, pony magic is not researched enough for Twilight to be aware that Fluttershys "Stare" is her own form of pony magic and that it would interfere with Twilights spell.
Do you see where I'm getting at here? Uhmm don't ask me what exactly happened in the cave, I'm doing this for fun and thinking about it too hard makes me spiral. But uhmm something something- Bruce looked at a bat in the eye and decided to embrace his biggest fear to fuel his cause, and his already traumatized and fucked up pony magic had transformed his body- something something. (Edit: I didn't think about this until now but maybe Fluttershys "Stare" and Bruces "Bat Glare" could be a usage of the same form of magic? Just a thought)
I'll probably come up with a more suitable explanation in the future, but like I said. All of this is just for fun.

Pokémon Flux Development Update
Hi Tumblr! To kick off this previously unused blog I thought I'd share our latest development update with you all. There is nothing new released, but we've been hard at work on Episode 2!
LOCATION: QUELEA BRIDGE
Perched atop a fast-flowing river, Quelea Bridge is known for its proximity to the oldest ruins in the region. A peculiar aura protects this town from Alter Pokémon attacks, making it one of the safest and most peaceful places in all of Altera!
LOCATION: DRAKE VILLAGE
The epicenter of history in Altera, Drake Village is inhabited by enthusiasts who wish to understand & preserve the legacy of the Draconians, the ancient civilization that vanished from Altera 500 years ago. Recently, it has been shrouded in a near-constant thunderstorm.
LOCATION: DRACOPOLIS
The ruins north of Drake Village were once the seat of power for the ancient Draconian society. Ancient carvings and statues of dragons decorate these misty ruins, though Altera’s dragons vanished long ago, along with their masters…
NEW POKéMON REVEAL
Introducing some of the inhabitants of Dracopolis ruins: GLUBBLE and GARBLGOYLE! [Rock / Water]
Said to have once been carved by the ancient Draconians, these stone sentinels now guard the ruins they left behind. They subsist entirely on rainwater, and if they dry up, they stop moving!
NEW EVOLUTIONS FOR FAMILIAR FRIENDS
In Flux Episode 2, your familiar friends will be able to achieve their final forms! Introducing the fully-evolved forms of Humborb and Squrmy: TURBOLIBRI and WURMITERRA!
TURBOLIBRI, the Bomber Pokémon!
[Flying/Normal]
This hyper-speed bird is known as one of the fastest flyers in the Pokémon world. It has been observed tucking HUMBORB beneath its wings to use as emergency fuel reserves! Evolves from NAVIBRI @ lv. 34
WURMITERRA, The Voracious Pokémon!
[Bug/Ground]
No longer a timid worm, WURMITERRA uses the rotating drill bit around its neck to tunnel through earth and stone alike. The rich soil they leave behind makes high quality fertilizer! Evolves from DURTWURM @ lv. 32
NEW FEATURES
Before we part ways, we wanted to show you all a small preview of a new feature in Episode 2… What could this be? 👀
youtube
AND MORE...
THAT’S ALL FOR NOW!
We know you all have been looking forward to the next playable update.
Our team of volunteers has been working hard. It will still be some time before the update is ready.
Please wait for it patiently! Thank you!

БРАЖНИКИ: ВИННЫЙ. Elephant Hawk-moth.
The Elephant Hawk-moth (Deilephila elpenor) is a butterfly from the hawk moth family (Sphingidae). The Latin name Deilephila elpenor was given to the Elephant Hawk-moth in honor of the hero of mythology: Elpenor is a friend of Odysseus, who returned with him from Troy; he died after falling from the roof of the palace of the sorceress Circe. The Elephant Hawk-moth moth flies perfectly, one of the fastest flyers not only among butterflies, but also among insects in general. It can reach speeds of up to 60 km/h! And during migration, it is able to cover a distance of several thousand kilometers.
The Elephant Hawk-moth is one of the largest butterflies in the world. The wingspan is 50-70 mm. The forewings are olive green, with a pink margin at the outer edge and two pinkish stripes following from the posterior edge to the apex of the wing. The hindwings are pink, with a black base. The body is greenish, with pink stripes. This extremely interesting-looking butterfly lives in Europe, including the south of the Urals. During a time of danger, hawk moths may begin to squeak loudly and desperately to scare off a potential threat. The amazing insect is very rare and is protected by law.

The falcyons, once the dominant aerial predators of HP-02017 in the Therocene and Glaciocene, which preyed upon both grounded prey and other flyers, have seen a significant level of decline since the coming of the pterodents, some of which filled large, soaring scavenger, seagoer and migratory forager niches and thus gradually pushed the falcyons aside. Yet the falcyons, despite the competition, are doing quite well even in the Middle Temperocene, thanks to a fairly recent adaptive radiation at the Temperocene's dawn that allowed them to claim new niches and make a living in a changed world.
Some, such as the eastern Gestaltian triathler (Triathlopteryx gestaltis) have become generalists, taking advantage of any food source they can find. Triathlers, in particular, gained particular success thanks to being good runners, flyers, and swimmers all at the same time, allowing them to seek food in the sea, on the shore, or in the air, snatching up any small prey they can grab in their jaws in a wide variety of environments that reduces the pressure of competition. Hunting insects and wingles in the air, shrish and pescopods in the water, and small crustaceans and mollusks on the shore, triathlers such have many options and no shortage of available food should seasonal availabilities of one prey item come and go. Nesting in cliffside rookeries by the hundreds, even thousands, triathlers boast precocial young that can hunt on land within a few weeks, even while still under their parents' care, but still have to learn, through imitation and experience, the skills required for the air and sea.
Not all the falcyons, however, are as versatile, but are much more specialized in one specific medium. The swift airstrike (Velocipteramys aerovenatrix) is notable for its aerial prowess, able to dive-bomb its prey at incredible force and speed. Easily one of the fastest flyers, the airstrike specializes on hunting smaller flying ratbats, knocking them from the sky with such power that they are instantly stunned or killed upon impact, which the airstrike then snatches up midair. They live and hunt in mated pairs, with the female the larger of the two, as the smaller male can take on smaller but more-agile aerial prey and thus reduce competition with his mate during the breeding season, when she needs far more calories than he does.
On the other hand, the ground pterrier (Terranyctocyon ambulus) is, conversely, a far more terrestrial species. While a perfectly capable flier, it instead greatly prefers to hunt on the ground, or in trees, chasing down squizzels, furbils, duskmice and small rattiles in grounded pursuit, before pouncing upon them to pin them with its wing-claws and dispatch them with a bite. Ground pterriers rarely take wing unless threatened or provoked, or when traveling longer distances to find new hunting grounds, mostly preferring to roam on foot while foraging.
While fierce acrobats in the air, falcyons, like many ratbats, are more vulnerable on the ground, and thus the reason even the more ground-dwelling ones are still capable at flight. They are at their most exposed during the time when they are nesting: as pterriers and their relatives build their nests on the ground in hidden dens concealed by overlying plants, where their young, not flighted until they are several months old, remain. One of the pterrier's relatives, the wounded bloodwing (Erythropteryx pseudosanguis), has developed a peculiar strategy to protect its young: females possess bright red marks on the dorsal surface of their wings, hidden when folded and walking. If a predator is in the vicinity of the nest, however, the mother bloodwing will make a display where she pretends to be injured, flashing the red mark on her wing and making distressed sounded cries and limping motions to create the illusion of an easy prey. This is all a ruse, however, to lead the threat far away from the nest, and once she reaches a save distance she drops the act and flies off, leaving the confused enemy in the dust.
Among the largest and fiercest of the Temperocene falcyons, however, is the skewering harpshrike (Phobocynonyctus crucifigere), with a wingspan of up to five-and-a-half feet. Native to arid desert or semidesert regions of South Ecatoria, this unique species is remarkable for being a larger-scale predator able to tackle small hamtelopes, podotheres and zingos on occasion, which it then stores away in a grisly fashion: a larder of thorny trees, with the impaled half-eaten, dried carcasses of small animals hanging from their branches. But perhaps its most unusual feature is its rather canine-like head bearing facial markings that, by coincidental convergence, came to eerily resemble those of the sapient calliducyons: earning the harpshrike a place in their folklore as "person-headed flying monsters" notorious for occasionally snatching up unwary pups who stray too far from their parents.

The Elite Trine is a bunch of baddies, and I drew them the way I always image them. (Head canon time below the read more.)
Thundercracker:
Alt Mode: SU-30
He's the tallest, the heaviest and hes also got the most ammunition out of the trine. TC isn't really much of an acrobatic flyer but what he lacks in speed and agility, he makes up for in durability. A true heavy-duty war machine.
Skywarp:
Alt Mode: F-16
He's the shortest and the lightest of the trine. His durability is not his strong suit, but he keeps himself out of harm's way via his warping ability and his agility. Skywarp is perfect for stealth missions and can fly circles around just about anyone (minus Starscream).
Starscream:
Alt Mode: F-15 Eagle
The ace of the air himself; Starscream has the best of both worlds when it comes to his trine. He's agile, the fastest airborne Decepticon, armed to the teeth and durable enough to withstand Megatron's fusion cannon. Starscream may be cowardly but he's a survivor. His weight and height come to rest someplace between his trinemates. This SOB of a SIC isn't the heaviest or tallest and he's not the lightest or shortest, either.

︵︵ MISC. HAZBIN HOTEL HEADCANONS
╰ ⋯ ➢ just some random hcs i thought of off the top of my head!! ♡ as always, reblogs and likes appreciated! includes both main cast and heaven hcs. :3
𝜚 ₎ MAIN CAST HCS
Vaggie says stuff like “rad,” “dude,” etcetera unironically and definitely gets made fun of for it. Mostly by Cherri and Angel– Pentious says it is ‘hashtag trending awesome sauce.’
Vaggie sets 6 alarms in the morning, all with custom minute intervals between the snooze alarms to make SURE she doesn't sleep through it. Charlie doesn't mind, though, mainly because she wakes up at four in the morning to work on projects anyway.
Charlie has made playlists for everyone in the hotel on hell's equivalent of spotify; Vaggie's is the most well thought out, but they all describe them very well. Alastor never listens to it due to his dislike for modern technology/apps, but he appreciates it– or at least acts like he does– nonetheless.
Charlie definitely rides on Alastor's shoulders like a little kid bro IDC WHAT U SAY
Vaggie has cried ONCE in front of the rest of the hotel after being genuinely dogged on repeatedly on one of the worst days of her life, and they all just stared at her in shock. They hate on her so much because it never impacts her– or so they think so, because Vaggie always shrugs it off. They refuse to talk about it.
Vaggie's spice tolerance is unmatched.
Each night, Charlie visits Pentious’ memorial and wraps a weighted blanket around it, saying that maybe it'd remind him of the Egg Bois and the way they snuggled around him in the afterlife.
Vaggie is a huge Hunger Games fan. 90% of her personality derives from Katniss Everdeen.
Adding onto the last one, if Charlie and Vaggie were to have a child, I feel like it'd have the personality of Lucy Gray Baird.
Niffty definitely writes strange fanfiction. Also has BL as her header on the Hell's equivalent of Twitter. She's a little twisted, but we love her.
Cherri is an absolute menace. That is the best word to describe her.
Angel and Cherri did the “screaming in public restrooms” prank once.
Everyone assumed Charlie was mid-20s until she dropped the bomb that she's over 200 years old. They were all flabbergasted (minus Vaggie, who already knew. Angel also called her a “gilf lover.”)
Angel asked Vaggie about her body count once to tick her off, and she answered “around 1,000 or so, roughly estimated,” thinking he meant kill count. Charlie was shook.
Vaggie is a Paramore, Flyleaf, Evanescence, etcetera fan. Proud listener to 2000s emo girl music.
Charlie's guilty pleasure is punk/metal/rock music. She says she only listens to “Taylor Swift and musicals,” but she has a hidden playlist with KORN, PTV, and all of those bands on it.
Angel wakes Husk up by blasting Ayesha Erotica songs into his ear occasionally since Husk is a heavy sleeper and refuses to get up sometimes.
Pentious calls himself a “semi-proud father of the Egg Bois.”
Charlie ran a hate page about Katie Killjoy. She has since moved on from it... probably.
𝜚 ₎ HEAVEN HCS
Vaggie definitely played about 100 sports back in Heaven. Fencing, soccer, and, bare with me here, she definitely did ballet. She refuses to admit so, however.
The exorcists actually aren't brought into the world as adults. Instead, they're raised by volunteer parents of Heaven their entire lives, starting fighting training at age 6 or so. They claim that “children's brains are easier to mold.” Basically, they're taught to be murder weapons from a very, very young age. It's also instinctive, but it's the training that truly brings it out.
Each exterminator is based on a different bird breed, but the most common are eagles, falcons, hawks, and generally predatory avians.
The Exterminators are also very fast flyers, and they establish the quickest flyers through racing. Vaggie was formerly the fastest until she was cast down to Hell. Now, the fastest is Lute.
Adam also referees these races, and instead of a gun or whistle to start them off, he uses his guitar.

Giant Arthropods
Silverfish, Endermite, Bees, and more!
Shown above are some of the most well known and studied of the giant arthropods;
The Dungeon Silverfish (often just called a ‘silverfish’ despite the fact it is neither a true silverfish or a silver fish): A large predatory insect notable for their elongated bodies, habit to dwell in underground End dungeon locations, and their recorded habit of attacking in swarms. These insects are actually a kind of beetle, though living underground and growing to such massive sizes has reduced the need for wings and they’re secondarily wingless. While a single silverfish often will prey on smaller insects or mammals like rodents, they will attempt to hunt larger prey and in swarms can overwhelm a player.
The Endermite (also sometimes called an End Mite or Enderman Mite): While this species of massive mite (a type of arachnid related to scorpions, spiders, and ticks) is much rarer to actually encounter, as they are native to the End rather than the Overworld or Nether, they occasionally manage to fall through dimensional tears crated by enderpearl usage into the Overworld. While they are not venomous or known to swarm, they are highly aggressive and will attack if they feel their space is being threatened. They are more so scavengers/opportunistic feeders.
The Titan Bee (the largest species of bee that can currently be found in the Overworld): A generally peaceful species of massive bee similar in appearance to the more common and smaller carpenter bee. This species can often be found in large, open habitats, traveling from flower to flower as they collect food for their hives, which often are settled within oak or birch trees growing along the edge of forests. They are very fuzzy and will aggressively defend their hives from perceived threats, their massive size and subsquentially large venom sacs can cause nausea, dizziness, and sometimes fatal allergic reactions. In massive swarms they can kill even kill a player, though because of their massive size, they thankfully aren’t the fastest flyers and usually can be avoided. This being said, they are a high interest to those that enjoy honey and bee-keeping, and with the proper methods in place, keeping them is not difficult.
The Giant Bee (the second largest bee species in the overworld, much less common than their larger relative): Having a body plan similar to that of a bumble bee, this large species is commonly mistaken for young workers of the Titan Bee, however, unlike its larger relative, this species is almost exclusive found in forested biomes. Their smaller size helps them better maneuver in such areas but while much smaller, these bees are more prone to an aggressive response to disturbance of their hive. They often cause painful stings that can cause burning/itchy sensations or possibly more life threatening allergic reactions. Despite this, they are likewise prized for their honey and the fact that they are a lot easier for beginner or novice bee-keepers to manage than the larger Titan Bee, which can be more picky or selective in the hives they will accept.
While much more rarely talked about, there are a lot more giant species of arthropod, these are some of the more commonly discussed or encountered. Note this covers only a small proportion of the expansive types of arthropods one may find out in the world.
The Titan-Killer (this parasitoid wasp preys on the larva of the Titan bee, thus the name): This wasp will sneak into the hives of the Titan bee, piercing either cocooned bees and/or larva with its elongated ovipositor, laying its eggs on the unlucky individual. When the wasp’s eggs hatch, they will eat the developing bee/bee larva alive, pupating in the hive cell its host was inside, and emerge as new adults after a period of development. They share a striped pattern with the bees and will even mimic the bees scent pheromones to deceive any workers that do come across them while inside the hive. They can be an issue for developing hives but otherwise are of no threat to players or most other mobs.
The Giant-Killer (this related parasitoid wasp specializes in preying upon the Giant Bee rather than the Titan Bee): With a similar lifestyle to the Titan-Killer, this wasp is much smaller and mostly relies on avoiding the adult bees and sneaking into the hive in order to similar inject vulnerable developing bees/bee larva with its eggs. The eggs hatch, consume the bee, pupate in the cell, and leave the hive. They can be a bit more tricky to deal with due to their more skittish nature though they are likewise harmless to players and other mobs.
The Goliath Firefly (a very rarely seen species, they once were rumored to be found in the swamps and mangrove forests, but their numbers have been greatly reduced to near mythical status): These fireflies are massive beetles with very distinct sexual dimorphism, the females being nearly twice the size of the smaller males with underdeveloped wings incapable of flight. The females elytra (the hardened forewings of beetles) are visible in adulthood but completely vestigial. The males can be spotted in flight looking for the light signals produced by the ground dwelling female, their smaller size and functional wings giving them better mobility than the usually stationary female.
The Enderian Firefly (A species from the End, one of the few large arthropods found there besides the Endermite, a couple ground beetles, and several large crickets): These fireflies act behaviorally very familiarly to their Overworld cousin, however rather than spending their time in leaf litter, they live along the chorus fruit forests. The females, which are notable for their armored appearance and complete lack of wings (vestigial or functional) are adapt climbers that will work their way up the chorus fruit trees to better signal to the smaller, flying males. The males of this species are notable for having a design like that of an eye of ender along their elytra, though whether this may indicate selective breeding for this feature by the ancient ender societies that used to exist within the End pre-societal collapse, or is merely coincidental, this is not well known. These fireflies, while more populous than their Overworld relative are still very rarely encountered.
The Harvest Termite (there are several more castes not shown in the image, however the solider and worker are the mostly commonly seen of this species and thus the selected representatives for the species): A semi-arid dwelling termite species notable for their large size and curious ‘moon’ like head coloration along the head. They act and behave much like their smaller cousins, though their size can make them a pesky species to deal with, particularly when they bite. While their bites are generally more irritating and painful than deadly, a group of them can cause significant injury.
The Shear-Jawed Ant (Similarly to the Harvest Termite, this ant species has several castes but the main ones showcased here are of the solider and worker castes): One of several massive ant species, this desert species is notable for the mandibles found on the solider caste as well as the spines ridge along the back of its exoskeleton. The jaws in particular appear similar to shears with a more hooked and serrated edge, made for cutting off flesh from carcasses or unfortunate prey, they can also cause severe bites. These ants are mainly nocturnal and can come in conflict with players when unknowingly setting up camp near one of their nests, the workers and soldiers travel long distances for food and resources. It is thought that many of those lost in the desert and never seen again were dealt with by a hungry swarm of these ants. Though recorded deaths caused by these ants have yet to be confirmed.
The Eyed Roach (one of several large roaches, they are one of the most recognizable for the pattern on their pronotum, the shield-like structure that often hides the head from overview): A peridomestic species often found near or in villages along the Savannah plains or semi-arid habitat, they feed on anything and everything though are mostly harmless save for the possibility of mechanical transmission of disease. Elsewise they very rarely will be out during the day and are incredibly skittish and quick despite their wingless nature and size.
The above image showcases the largest known arthropods in both the overworld and nether dimension, those of the massive spiders and centipedes.
The Common Wolf-Eater Spider (also known simply as ‘spiders’ by most players due to their reputation): These massive spiders are known ravenous predators that have been recorded catching and killing anything from wolves, sheep, cattle, players, etc. They can be found almost anywhere above ground across differing climates and habitat types, though thankfully, they are restricted to the Overworld. They are nonvenomous, but their massive fangs can still cause great damage. They are best dealt with in well-lit areas or during the day as they almost become ‘docile’ in well lighted conditions, most likely because their prey can better sense and spot them and thus its easier to save their energy for when they have a greater advantage. They are thankfully mostly solitary though if a group senses blood or an injured entity, they will gather together to tackle the possible prey.
The Cave-Dwelling Wolf-Eater Spider (also known simply as ‘cave spiders’ by players due to their reputation): These large spiders are nearly two times smaller than their larger above ground relative, though this does not make them less dangerous. Infact, these vigorous spiders are known to active live in massive groups/colonies and hunt coordinately. They also are notable for having massive fangs that inject a venom that causes illness, vertigo, drop in blood pressure, etc. Some players have even been shown to go into cardiac arrest or organ failure if struck by a large enough group. While they are rarer to encounter, they can be highly deadly and persistent, particularly considering the fact that with their somewhat smaller size, places and holes that might keep one safe from a ‘common spider’ will not keep you save from this species.
The Birch Spider (also known as the Forested Spider or the ‘knuckle-head spider’ due to the habit of them accidentally dropping on player’s heads from above): Exclusively found in the birch forests in the Overworld, this spider is the much smaller and less deadly relative of the ‘cave’ and ‘common’ spiders. They also, unlike the fore-mentioned two, are web-builders rather than pursuit predators. They often prey upon large and small flying insects that get stuck in their webs along with small rodents and reptiles. Their venom can cause irritation but rarely triggers much else than a sore spot where bitten.
The ‘Cave-Crawler’ (aka Hell’s Centipede, one of the very rare, yet highly adapted, giant Nether arthopods): This massive ambush predators mostly feeds on unfortunate striders, lone pigmen, and young hoglins that come across their hidden burrows carved into netherrack walls. They usually keep themselves hidden away in these burrows until they sense approaching entities and struck, inflicting a venomous bite before retreating into their burrow. The bite will often start to feel itchy and irritated before growing numb as a paralysis agent works through the body, eventually leading to organ failure, coma, and eventually death. These giant centipedes will then follow the scent trail of their injured prey and drag the body back to feed on in their burrows. They have a heavy armor that is nearly impossible to pierce with even the toughest of swords though their softer underbellies are more vulnerable. They can however be scared off with bright lights and strong scents like mint or citrus as the strong smells disorientate them. They are rarely encountered or rarely discussed because of the dangers in study them. The Oakworm (aka the Overworld Mega-Centipede due to its unusual size): This centipede species is larger a scavenger and opportunistic hunter, wandering about and eating what it comes across. They, unlike the Hell’s Centipede, a distant relative, will not attack organism larger than themselves, preferring to stay hidden under moist, cool logs in dense forests during the day and emerging at night to feed. They were originally mistaken for a massive species of worm, thus their odd name in reference.
The Hero’s Stickbug (aka the walking sword): A highly camouflaged, elusive herbivore from the Overworld, this species while massive, often stays out of sight as much as possible. They usually live in dense forest canopies, feeding on fresh growth.
And there we have some of our many Giant Arthopods! Due to the high oxygen levels in the atmospheres of the differing dimensions, the restriction of size caused by capability to carry oxygen throughout the body is little concern. However, this wasn’t always the case as it can be noted via recent research that many of these massive arthropods are technically much younger species than their smaller counterparts.
Infact, I think the rise of these massive arthropods is linked with the post End-exodus event (also called the post-End disaster event) whereas some unknown event caused the near complete destruction of Enderman society, the vanishing of the great unknown ancient society responsible for crafting the Warden and Exodus portals these entities guard, and possibly the rise of The Infections (the main terrible diseases of the pigmen plague, the death-curse illness, and The Corruption).
I think that when one of the ancient civilizations attempted to escape from some horror (be it war, famine, or sickness) after failing to find salvation in first the Nether and then the End, they returned to the Overworld and created the Exodus portals found in the Deep Dark, punching their way through to a currently unknown, theoretical fourth dimension. This dimension’s introduction to the known three caused shifts in magical systems, the atmosphere, etc. and either assisted in or caused the massive extinction event that occurred some millennia ago.
It was as the surviving organisms of this incident managed to adapt and thrive that diversification was able to take hold. There is still much to piece together and figure out, particarly when trying to craft a timeline or estimation of species origin can be so difficult and time consuming.
Either way, I thank you for viewing my admittedly limited showcasing of some of the many impressive Giant Arthopods of the known three dimensions.

Dragon!Batfam AU and Dragon Kinds:
Each humans on Earth have the ability to switch between a human and a dragon form. The human form always carries traits from their dragon form, such as scales, feathers, claws etc.
The dragon forms can be categorized into “Kinds”:
Dragon Kind:
Dragons have four legs and one pair of wings. They come in pastel colors of red, yellow, orange etc. They are the oldest Kind alongside the Wyverns and are the only ones to breathe fire.
Wyvern Kind:
Wyverns have one pair of wings and back legs, no front legs. They come in muted dark colors like black, grey, dark green etc. They are one of the oldest kind and are the nocturnal counterpart of the Dragons, meaning they have extremely good night vision, hearing and echolocation.
Amphiptere Kind:
Amphiptere have only wings, no legs, but can use them as arms to crawl on the floor. They come in all kinds of colors, as long as you can find it in birds. They also are the only Kin to have feathers. They are fastest and most agile flyers, able to stay in the air for months on end.
Drake Kind:
Drakes have no wings at all and can’t fly. They come in earthy colors with bright shiny spots that look likes gem stones. They are the strongest Kind in the world, with higher bone density, thicker scales and more muscle mass. They have an incredible sense of smell that can even differentiate stones form precious gems.
Hydra Kind:
Hydras have from three to nine heads and sometimes have wing as their front arm. They come in various and are characterized by intricate patterns on their scales similar to snakes. They are the second rarest Kind behind the Leviathan and have an amazing regeneration factor, to the point of restoring a severed dragon head. It stops working however when the wound is burned.
Lóng Kind:
Lóng don’t have wings but can still fly. They come mostly in red, yellow, gold colors and are the only Kind to have hair in form of their mane and beard (both male and female have beard). They can manipulate rain to an extent.
Leviathan Kind:
Leviathan no legs and no wings but can crawl on land like snakes at a decent speed. They come in various shades of blue, green and grey with glow in the dark scales. They are the only marine dragon Kind and can breathe underwater. They are also the biggest dragon Kind.
I might change and update things in the future but this is the very first premise of my AU. Next: Batfam dragon designs!

[Image ID: A digitally illustrated redesign of Fluttershy from My Little Pony: Friendship is magic. Flutteryshy is a fluffy yellow pegasus horse with skewbald patches of pale fur. Her mane and tail are green, and so long that they flow across the ground, appearing to have picked up twigs, leaves, and flowers while dragging. Her hair mostly covers her eye, which is blue. Her mane is pinned up partially to support a robin’s nest with eggs. Her cutie mark shows several pink butterflies. Her wings are bandaged with grey compressional tape. End ID.]
Fluttershy is something of an outcast among the ponies of Ponyville, since she lives on the outskirts of the town, never wears shoes, and talks to all her animals as if they understood her. Some of the local ponies even think she’s creepy, and the fillies make up rumors about her being a witch who cursed anyone who tries to go into the Everfree forest. That suits Fluttershy just fine, though. She doesn’t need that much company; she’s content with her small group of friends, most of which are woodland critters. Fluttershy is a bleeding heart whose compassion extends to nearly every living thing, since her appellation “The Arbor Pony” allows her to speak to and understand both animals AND plants alike.
Fluttershy was born with chronic joint pain that makes it extremely difficult for her to fly or channel any magic with her wings, so she moved down from the clouds to live somewhere where mobility would be easier. It still hurts to get up and move around some days, so Fluttershy prefers to take things slow, and knows the value of rest and relaxation. Fluttershy is so gentle, in fact, that a family of robins built a nest in her hair one day while she was in her garden, and she decided to let them stay there and styles her hair around the bird’s nest to keep it stable. What Fluttershy enjoys more than anything is a cup of lemongrass tea and a quiet sunny day at home. In that way, it might seem a little odd that her girlfriend is the fastest flyer in Equestria, but she wouldn’t trade her for the world.

Catching You: Halbarry Big Bang Collaboration!
For @halbarry-big-bang! I had a great time working with Sweet Apples on this project! We both gravitated to the Nascar aesthetic, and it was a fun challenge trying to capture the energy of a midair rescue!
Catching You by SweetApples02
Racefliers, athletes who compete against the worlds best and fastest flyers for a chance of being the once in four years champion. Barry Allen, a name that Hal only knew from his friend’s mouth as Ollie raved about the champion title and the influence “Flash” carried over fans. The racer didn’t have any significance to Hal though, at least until Ollie convinced Hal to help him vandalize the Flash track insignia the day before the first race of the year during a drunken night. Catchers, fliers hired to catch racers in distress. The same position that Hal was forced to pretend to be in when he awoke the next day in the stadium. Waiting out the event out of moral obligation, Hal found himself in another pickle. A collision sending the Flash crashing down- and taking Hal with him when the vandalizer turned Catcher attempted to catch him. The legalities afterwards continued the problem. Video footage and Hal’s witness to the collision bringing a discovery that it wasn’t just an accident, but the coverup of Hal’s involvement could turn his statements futile at any turn. And the budding looks and quiet conversations between him and the recovering champion was a whole new problem by itself.
@oof-ouch-yikes-stripes and @anxiety-is-mymiddle-name: the first chapter is up now!

On our earlier discussed subject, I really want to describe what my pony headcanons are for each Ultimate and why I believe they’d be suited to that species. I’m interested to see how much you agree.
Mitsuhiro Higa: Earth stallion with a rough, muscular build, given his talent. Earth ponies are typically portrayed as being in-tune with nature and having an advantage over Pegasi and unicorns when it comes to strength, and Mitch’s talent would require him to have physical strength and endurance, would it not?
Kiyoka Maki: Earth mare. Kiyoka’s talent is shooting, which sounds like it could be helpful for the type of lifestyle that earth ponies tend to live.
Kizuna Tomori: Earth mare. Honestly, I could see Kizuna as a Pegasus too, as her talent is related to performing stunts (which pegasi sometimes do as a profession), but I still choose earth pony because they can also perform much of the same athletic stuff that pegasi can.
Ayame Hatano: Pegasus mare 100%. She’s the Ultimate Sprinter since she’s the fastest runner, so what if her pony counterpart had the title of being the fastest flyer? 👀 (We got Rainbow Dash 2.0 up in the chat.)
Kanata Inori: earth mare. Her being a unicorn crossed my mind, but I was reminded of Nurse Redheart from Friendship Is Magic and I couldn’t dispel the association, so there ya go.
Kakeru Yamaguchi: Unicorn stallion. See, lawyers are typically pretty smart people, and unicorns are often stereotypes as the brainiacs of the pony world, so it checks out for me. I imagine he’d have a Big Mac-like body build as well, given how swole he is in canon.
Kinji Uehara: Unicorn stallion. ‘Nuff said.
Haruhiko Kobashikawa: Pegasus stallion. His talent pertains to aircraft and Pegasi fly. That’s it.
Satsuki Iranami: Earth mare. She’s basically the DRA version of Pinkie Pie, and I knew it’d be wrong to make her anything else.
Yamato Kisaragi: Unicorn stallion. He’s a genius; unicorns are smart. That’s it.
Mikako Kurokawa: Unicorn mare. Her talent vaguely relates to magic and spirituality, and unicorns are the only breed capable of that power.
Teruya Otori: Earth stallion. He reminds me of Pipsqueak from Friendship Is Magic.
Rei Mekaru: Unicorn mare. Does this really need an explanation?
Tsurugi Kinjo: Unicorn stallion. I could honestly see him being a Pegasus due to their speed, strength, and ferocity, but him being a unicorn reflects his intellect and philosophical side.
Yuki Maeda/Utsuro: Earth stallion. Yuki is considered a generic, bland kid with no real interesting qualities or talent. Earth ponies are the most basic form of pony and lack the magical capabilities of their unicorn and Pegasi counterparts, so it only makes sense to me he’d be a generic earth pony.
Akane Taira: Earth mare. Earth ponies are better suited to labor than the others, and what’s Tiara’s talent, if not to serve others?
I hope you enjoyed!
woah an ask! And being rambled to about dra ponies no less!!
Anyway, I think I had similar thoughts for most of these, I'll go ahead and respond to each of these...
Mitsuhiro Higa: I was between earth pony and pegasi for both him and Ayame. I considered making him a pegasus, and possibly going with the idea that he would be capable of filling both pegasi and earth pony type roles (in terms of sports, I mean) but honestly I think earth pony definitely suits him more. Strength and endurance are pretty crucial for football. Or uh, hoofball, I suppose.
Kiyoka Maki: I thought about making her a unicorn in order to have her specialize in projectile spells, but being a unicorn didn't really fit and yeah, I agree. She's one of the only members of Class 79 that seems to have a fairly ordinary home life and life in general (despite her talent) and is a lot more down to earth (haha down to earth) I think that makes earth pony the best choice. And also, earth ponies probably use tools and weapons more often as they're kind of at a disadvantage, so it fits with being a weapons expert or markspony.
Kizuna Tomori: I'll be honest, I haven't thought about where Kizuna fits in or what kind of pony she would be yet. I can't decide if a pegasi or earth pony would be better. One aspect of it that I feel like hasn't been mentioned is that pegasi characters can be more expressive or energetic (this is part of why I made Yamato a pegasi as well) I think the ability to gesture with wings could potentially fit cheering, but I do see earth pony too. Cheerleading does require strength. I'm not sure.
Ayame Hatano: I was in between pegasi and earth pony for her but you've sold me yup this makes sense. Speed = pegasi, and now we can have a rainbow dash esque character too. (Thrift is our Rarity equivalent in a lot of ways haha)
Kanata Inori: Another one of the characters I've not gotten to as much, but I wanted her to be an earth pony too. Even though a unicorn with healing magic crossed my mind, I definitely had the same feeling. Also, now that I think about it, all the doctors that come to my mind first are earth ponies. Besides Redheart, I think Ponyville's vet, and the male pediatrician in town are both earth ponies too.
Kakeru Yamaguchi: I also haven't spent much time on Kakeru yet, but unicorn is my immediate instinct too because of him being a lawyer, yeah. Definitely would be a buff pony too I think. I might have made him a kirin, considering his lawyeral persona and connection to flame, but not sure I want to have another kirin alongside Saber (even if he's only half) and his dad. Hmm... that being said, it could fit in with others perceiving him as scary... argh now I'm undecided again haha.
Kinji Uehara: Yup. He's pretty curious, thoughtful, and insightful. All of those suit being a unicorn. And I picture him having light-related spells, and his magic color being like candelight or a yellow shade. Only doubt here is that if he had wings, he could have more angel motifs, I suppose.
Haruhiko Kobashikawa: Yep yep. He has to have wings, without question. And pegasi are often more energetic and lively, which suits him.
Satsuki Iranami: I haven't decided on her either, but yeah that was kind of my initial response too! for the same reasons... I think her having some level of earth pony shenanigans going on would suit her, and yeah. Pinkie pie. What else can I say.
Yamato Kisaragi: Yamato's creativity and intelligence almost made me give him a horn. But so many of the cast I gave the unicorn status to already, I did so because of this kind of reasoning, and it felt like there were too many of them. I landed on pegasus because of how pegasi characters are sometimes shown to be more energetic and excitable, and because I liked the idea of him being able to use wings as extra 'hands'/using them expressively. That being said, I still see the unicorn idea 100% here.
Mikako Kurokawa: I am currently trying to figure Mikako out for this AU. I at first, thought unicorn too, for the same reasons, but I did consider her being an earth pony as the idea of her being a magic or spiritual specialist (and having talent in that) despite not being a unicorn, kinda meshes with the excorcist/supernatural aspect when you stick it into MLP. I think I'm more leaning toward unicorn though, as I couldn't really pin that idea down into something I felt like worked well enough. There aren't a lot of examples (besides pinkie...) of earth pony magic manifesting as other things besides strength, but earth pony magic tying into her abilities was what I was going for. Like sensing ghosts, reading minds/thoughts by vibe... I'm not sure. Like I said, I never really pinned it down, so probably going to make her a magic user. And bonus, her brother asking her to do various spells or otherwise helping him test stuff while inventing would be fun.
Teruya Otori: I was tempted to make him a unicorn for the funny factor but yeah he's definitely an earth pony. Also while I didn't consider pipsqueak while making him they're both small and pintos so I see that haha. Also I kept Thrift short even after growing up too lol. (all the ponies in this AU are adults, like the mane 6 because it fits better for my purposes) I just... I wanted him to draw him tiny and adorable. Also it's kind of fun to have one of the crafty/creative ones be an earth pony.
Rei Mekaru: Absolutely. I think it speaks for itself.
Tsurugi Kinjo: Agreed. While Tsurugi is strong-willed and strong-bodied, I felt his intelligence and mindset suited unicorn more. And of course, the half-kirin thing came later, and I fell in love with that, so. Also, I think being a unicorn suits his combat style more (magic can be used for precision attacks, shielding, and restraining enemies). Pegasi also strike me as being more free, or fluid, which Tsurugi most definitely is not. I suppose his stubbornness, difficulties with change, and rigid mindset, are the main thing you could say earth pony would align with, but yeah I still think unicorn was the best choice.
Yuki Maeda/Utsuro: 100% on Utsuro. He should be ordinary looking; it should be weird that anything supernaturally lucky is going on; and that's earth pony. Also he's just... very passive and not energetic. And being able to fly doesn't seem right for his personality/story to me either.
The only reason I made (the real) Yuki a unicorn is because I had made (DRA1) Yuki one, and I think I'm going to go back on that... I edited him without the horn and it just fits better I think.
As for (DRA1) Yuki, all I'll say is there are reasons I gave them all separate designs. (and a reason I did what I did with the Clover Shores designs) I'll wait until later to get into that. I have plans to drop some more in depth lore and things like that as I go. There are reasons I made him a unicorn. I will also say, he doesn't have any special skill with magic and mainly just uses it to pick things up.
Akane Taira: Hmm. This is a good argument. I sort of chose pegasi on a whim. I wanted more pegasi in the cast, and felt like it suited her aesthetic. However, being an earth pony is certainly associated more with lower social status in MLP and I didn't even think of the labor aspect. I'm not necessarily tied to her being a pegasus, but I do like the idea of her using her wings while performing her duties, maybe even using them to help her dust or things like that. I also have this silly image in my head of her carrying Kismet around which might have influenced this a little. (plus, if ayame is also a pegasi they could fly together which is nice)
Phew, that's all of my thoughts so far!
You got me thinking about this more. Especially the ones I haven't thought as much about yet. None of the undesigned ponies are set in stone yet, and I may change my mind about some of this once I get to designing them lol. Also, I am thinking about the characters roles in this AU and their relationships when I pick their races, too. Plus the whole numbers thing, which makes me a little picker about who gets to be a unicorn because I want to include earth ponies and pegasi too ofc.
(I also didn't even get too much into some of them being non-pony races, either... I kind of want a few more, and I do have some ideas on who and which ones...) But I'll hold off on that for now, or I'll keep going forever here lol.
Thanks for leaving an ask, I hope you enjoyed my ramblings. :)
I didn't have my asks open before (oops) but asks are totally welcome, especially about this au or any other ones I may post about.

bat of the year 2023 round one
Kitti’s hognosed bat (Craseonycteris thonglongyai), also known as as the bumblebee bat, is the smallest bat species in the world and the smallest mammal species in the world by size. Found only in Thailand and Myanmar, this bat was named for Thai zoologist Kitti Thonglongya after his sudden death.
Mexican Free-Tailed Bat (Tadarida brasiliensis), also known as the Brazilian Free-tailed bat, is a native of the Americas. They are the fastest horizontal flyers, achieving speeds of 99 miles per hour (160 kmph). They roost in massive colonies that make them one of the most abundant species of bat in North America, but these massive colonies can only be found in a few locations, leaving them vulnerable to habitat destruction.

Comparing characters from THS and IWWV because I'm that petty
The Greek Class
“They worship the fucking devil.” - The normal people in the school can see they’re a little weird.
The school feels alive, people go around and do things, live their lives, not just stare and whisper about the Greek students. We don’t get to know many people or things outside of what we need, but what we know doesn’t feel excessive, it feels realistic, things a normal student would notice and remember and deem important.
Kill their friend, even though he doesn’t deserve it, and the book knows he doesn’t, the other characters are in a mindset that makes murdering him logical.
So much left unanswered, in the shadows, keeps us wondering but everything feels completely intentional.
Richard
loves making pinterest boards for everything, bitch for aesthetics
the quiet onlooker, the outsider, the bystander and he knows it, so much is kept from him
started studying ancient Greek so that he can sleep in on Mondays, enrolled to med school because he didn’t know what else but then saw a pretty flyer and transferred to Hampden
becomes fascinated with a random group of students and manwhores his way in
sleeps like 20 hours a day
will take any pill, drug, substance just to get his mind off the real world
accidentally joins a cult and becomes an accomplice to two murders, easily goes along with everything, but, you know, the aesthetic goes hard
has an amazing gay-dar, himself is definitely straight and not gay at all
loves Camilla, her boyish hairstyle, boy-feet and all
“Henry is a god amongst men.”, “Francis is just the most intriguing person I have ever met.”, “Charles is so beautiful, just like an angel.”
lies all the time and tell us he lies all the time, lies about his upbringing, disgusted by his parents
almost died just so he didn’t have to confess to being poor or going home
might as well just written a y/n fanfic about him joining the mysterious student group and committing murders with them
idealises everything but doesn’t hide the ugly thigs, even the ugly are mesmerising but remain ugly
gets shot and no one notices
was fine with murder, but draws line at his friends having sex without him
Henry
tall, cold, scary guy
cool blue eyes behind glasses
insanely rich, doesn’t have to work ever in his life, wants to buy a house somewhere nowhere and become a hermit
committed his life to the studies of classics, loves Homer
doesn’t live in this world, his mind is very abstract, didn’t even know the Moon Landing happened
probably a sociopath, manipulates everyone into being accomplices to the murder he commited
takes his famished, drugged, drunk friends to the forest to have an orgy so that they can enter a higher state of mind and see Dionysus
so offended Richard asked him if he actually saw Dionysus
kills, probably, maybe, a farmer by beating him to death while high
writes about an actual murder in a journey, in latin, and proceeds to be surprised that Bunny, also a latin student, can read it as well
decides that the only thing to stop Bun, his old friend and possibly a lover, from going to the police is to kill him
takes up a cute little hobby in Persian mushroom poisons
has horrible headaches
throws his old friend and possibly a lover Bunny off a mountain while looking for ferns, rubs the dirt from his grave on him at his funeral
is only having problems with his passport and is late for an appointment
Bunny
always happy, annoying, lound, shabby, stupid rabbit
finds people's biggest insecurities and uses them against them
chews gum, wears some old jacket and glasses
slightly homophobic, pretty sexists, hates hippies (throws shoes on them as a hobby)
the only one that has connections outside of the group, has a girlfriend Marion
the fastest to take Richard in, quickly becomes the outsider after he joins
dyslexic, has asthma, better artist than scholar
his parents are pretentious pasty white people, all blond, has like five brothers that all look like him
uses his friends as ATMs, has expensive tastes, loves food
didn’t deserve to die, but it makes sense for them to kill him
wasn’t the greatest person ever but he was still lovable, as much as you hate him you can’t just throw him away (both characters and readers), he was insufferable but it’s sad when he’s actually gone
probably was in a romantic/sexual relationship with Henry
excluded from orgies because Charles saw him eating a cheese sandwich and that was the last straw
more angry that Henry didn’t tell him about the murder that the act itself
knows, indeed, how to type
Francis
fiery mop of the reddest hair Richard has ever seen, cross between a student prince and Jack the Ripper, wears pince-nez just to be cool
also insanely rich, his mum is a daughter of some wealthy Bostonian people that got pregnant with random band member
experienced the best of private European education
moves like a shadow across the campus, talks to black cats
his aunt has a summer house in the country that she lands him for the weekends and he takes his friends there to have pagan orgies
dramatic gay, kissed Richard even though he “wasn’t his type”, keeps coming back to Charles even though he knows he doesn’t love him
kisses Camilla because he felt like it, invites Richard to his bed the first time they talk
hypochondriac, develops panic attacks and no one takes him seriously
smokes every minute of his day, has nervous hands and thinks he’s dying every second but that has nothing to do with smoking
tries to kill himself for attention
marries the most insufferable girl because his grandfather is homophobic and wouldn't give him more money
too weak and lazy to stand up to anyone and ends up being a criminal
loves cooking five course dinners for fun
Charles
twincest enjoyer (we can’t be sure he’s the instigator, though he’s more “open” with it, or just a receiver) when he’s drunk even Francis will do, but then he doesn’t remember it so he’s not gay or anything
very jealous of his twin sister for stealing his men
drinks a lot, they all do, but he does even at breakfast
always steals cars when he’s drunk but somehow never crashes them
has anger issues, punches and slamms tables, throws stuff at Camilla, beats Camilla, burns Camilla
but he totally looks like a pretty little angel, all in white and stuff
stays pretty quiet in the beginning, after the murder the worst in him comes out, the guilt makes him spiral, can’t hold it in while the others don’t seem as affected or don’t show it
the only one who shows actual remorse to killing Bunny and says is outloud, stands up to Henry and eventually even wants to take a real action (though if it is actually more guilt or jealousy we may never know)
adopts a random feral cat and refuses to be parted from it, for a while at least
Camilla
also twincest enjoyer (very classical), to what extent we don’t know, no indication of it being pushed on her or her being the one pushing it
wears white all the time
the only girl in the group (very classical), loves Henry, leads Richard on (according to Francis)
Richard romanticises her, probably forgets many unflattering things about her, which leaves her the biggest mystery of the group
secret weapon, spy for Henry, secret phone code, she’s as smart as him
neither purely the victim nor the manipulator
there are subtle hints at her being more involved and playing a bigger role, hiding her true full personality, witch either Richard doesn’t want us to see, he doesn’t see himself or she’s just that good of an actres
at the end we can see she’s still choosing Henry, siding with him, be it her being so brainwashed his manipulation works even after he’s gone or her really believing in the things they did and acting on her own
-
Julian
their teacher, their cult leader, their icon, their god
mysterious, ominous figure working in the background
did he drive them to madness on purpose or did they completely misunderstand, twisted his teachings and took them to a whole new level?
a strange relationship with Henry, definitely that beyond a teacher focusing on a gifted student, maybe even romantic/sexuall one
encourages his pupils to take drugs and have orgies in the woods
knows a lot of powerful people
amazing cook
immediately after he learns about the murder he disappears
Judy
Richard’s neighbour and dealer
party girl, costume design student
doesn't like the Greek students, threw a drink on Camilla at a party, almost got beaten up by Henry and Charles
end up as a Tv aerobics instructor
Cloke
resident stoner, frat guy kind of
old friends with Bunny, into Camilla
ends up a lawyer working with Bun’s brother
Marion
Bunny’s girlfriend
studies something like teaching/taking care of kids, works in a kindergarten
wears flower dresses and cardigans
ends up marrying Bun’s brother and nicknaming her daughter ‘Bunny’

The Thespians
Fourth-year theatre major at Dellecher elite conservatory in Illinois. The only seven students that managed to get to the senior year despite the school’s high standards.
When they walk around the schools or do literally anything, they are suddenly the centre of everyone’s attention, local celebrities, everything they do is hot gossip.
Live and breathe Shakespeare, use his quotes in casual conversations, sometimes whole dialogues.
Are supposed to be a very tight knit group, but even with the casual closeness we are occasionally shown and the fact that they spent more than three years together, they don’t feel like more than strangers. There is no real tension, negative or positive, between them at any point of the story. They feel as if they were put on a stage, were told “now you are friends” and that’s it.
Neither of them has a good relationship with their family, for no other reason than to make them “leftovers” and give the group a false sense of found family.
Each of them is given an archetype at the beginning of the story and never becomes really anything beyond that.
They kill their supposed long time friend just because he became a bully.
Oliver
“the loyal sidekick”
from Ohio, his family doesn't appreciate art
a selfish, bratty, insensitive, jealous little asshole, but we’re supposed to think he’s actually just a nice guy
makes everything about himself
hates his parents for basically no reason
is awful to his sisters for no reason at all
hides that he has to clean The Castle from his friends, that are also classmates and roommates
super pretentious - “Sex, drugs, and Shakespeare. That was our life.” “Omg, Alexander, are you doing cocaine?!”
forced to love James, horny for Meredith
probably talks in cursive
goes to prison for his boyfriend even with no evidence pointing to him
Richard
“the tyrant”
apparently from London
always plays the main character, teachers favourite
is nice for like two scenes and then suddenly turns into a bully
big, tall, strong, intimidating
killed for bruising a guy and shoving two girls
Meredith
“the temptress”
from New York City, very rich family, leave her alone on Christmas
sexy, hot, sensual, feminine and soft, redhead
is dating Richard (so that Oliver can take her over)
is there to be occasionally slut shamed, ogled on by everyone, the object of Oliver’s desires when James isn’t around
holds her liquor better than the rest
tipps of Colborne through just James’s drunken twaddle
Filippa
“the chameleon”
very mysterious, doesn’t like talking about her family, her father is in prison
probably doesn’t have emotions
cast in male roles most of the times
helped to get rid of the murder evidence
ends up dating their choreographer
Alexander
“the villain”
from Philadelphia
does drugs and is gay, has an urge to turn first-years gay, and is also into Meredith
convinces others to let Richard drown with very a weak argument
overdoses
Wren
“the ingenue”
also from London
cute, sweet, sensitive, little, blond
Richard’s cousin
doesn’t talk very much, not in a cool or shy way
mostly just stands in a corner and cries and has a breakdown
James
“the tragic hero”
from California, his parents wanted him to be poet insted
the twist villain (no one was surprised)
supposed to be in love with Oliver
kills Richard in self-defense with a boat hook
recites Shakespeare when he has mental breakdown
let’s Oliver take the blame and go to prison, later “drowns” himself
-
Colborne
apparently the only detective in town that things bashed in skull and twisted limbs are maybe not just a drunken accident
is so enchanted with this case that its been on his mind for ten years and is the last thing he wants to solve before he retires
gets tipped of by Meredith, goes to apprehend James but believes Oliver when he falsely confesses
Frederick
literature teacher
nice to them I guess
Gwendolyn
drama teacher
thinks she’s got everyone figured out
bosy, scary, extravagant lady
Camillo
school combat choreographer
ends up with Pip
Colin
“look, there are other people at this school”
talented third-year
turned gay by Alexander

I believe I'm being fairly good faith and putting in information we get from the books. So I hope now I'm understood when I say that IWWV's characters aren't much of characters.
