It’s solar and wind and tidal and geothermal and hydropower.
It’s plant-based diets and regenerative livestock farming and insect protein and lab-grown meat.
It’s electric cars and reliable public transit and decreasing how far and how often we travel.
It’s growing your own vegetables and community gardens and vertical farms and supporting local producers.
It’s rewilding the countryside and greening cities.
It’s getting people active and improving disabled access.
It’s making your own clothes and buying or swapping sustainable stuff with your neighbours.
It’s the right to repair and reducing consumption in the first place.
It’s greater land rights for the commons and indigenous peoples and creating protected areas.
It’s radical, drastic change and community consensus.
It’s labour rights and less work.
It’s science and arts.
It’s theoretical academic thought and concrete practical action.
It’s signing petitions and campaigning and protesting and civil disobedience.
It’s sailboats and zeppelins.
It’s the speculative and the possible.
It’s raising living standards and curbing consumerism.
It’s global and local.
It’s me and you.
Climate solutions look different for everyone, and we all have something to offer.

Nano Fertilizer Market Strategies, Environmental Impact, and Sustainable Agricultural Practices
The global nano fertilizer market size is expected to reach USD 9,377.3 million by 2030, as per the new report by Grand View Research, Inc. The market is expected to grow at a robust CAGR of 14.8% from 2022 to 2030. The industry growth is primarily driven by increasing demand for better crop yields due to a significant rise in the global population and limited availability of key resources like land.
Nano Fertilizer Market Report Highlights
The global market is estimated to advance at a CAGR of 14.8% from 2022 to 2030. This is attributed to the rising demand for food crops due to the increasing population thus creating the need for using high-yield nano fertilizers
North America dominated the global market in 2021 with a revenue share of over 34%. This is owed to advancement in agriculture in developed countries such as Canada and the U.S.
Favorable policies along with technological advancements in the agricultural sector helped make the U.S., the largest consumer of nano fertilizer
Nitrogen emerged as a major raw material used for the production of nano fertilizer in 2021, with a revenue share of over 25%. Easy and cheap availability of Nitrogen makes it the topmost preference among consumers
Soil method of application captured the largest market share of over 70% in 2021. This growth is attributed to the capability of nano fertilizers to release nutrients in the soil, thus, enabling better penetration into the roots of the crops
Cereals & grains are the largest application segment in terms of revenue. It contributed over 40% to the global revenue share. The growth of this segment can be attributed to the fact that it is the major source of iron, dietary proteins, vitamins, and dietary fibers required by the human body. Thus, to fulfill the growing demand for cereals & grains continues to push food growers to purchase nano fertilizers in rising quantities
For More Details or Sample Copy please visit link @: Nano Fertilizer Market Report
Growing focus on increasing the quantity of yield has led to the indiscriminate use of fertilizers in agriculture. This can result in both environmental and agricultural catastrophes by degrading the quality of the soil. According to a report by Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO), natural resources such as water and arable land are on the verge of exhaustion. Furthermore, degradation at a high rate continues due to intensive urbanization and excessive use of chemical fertilizers. Thus, the declining nutritional quality of food and degraded quality of soil continues to drive a gradual shift toward nanotechnology in agriculture. Nano fertilizers remains an ideal prospect to maintain the quality of soil while meeting production target.
The use of nano fertilizers can help in reducing chemical fertilizer consumption by 80 to 100 times, thus reducing the reliance on chemical fertilizers. For instance, the demand for nano urea is increasing worldwide as it has the ability to replace regular urea usage at a relatively lower cost while offering high yields to crops. By 2023 nano urea is expected to replace the usage of 13.7 million tons of conventional urea. Thus, the huge demand for nano fertilizer from the agriculture industry along with supportive government policies continues to promote newer and more efficient agriculture techniques.
The importance of policy framework remains paramount to promote sustainable growth, and such framework is already in place for nano fertilizers in key regions. For instance, U.S department of agriculture in 2020 announced to make USD 250 million investment through its new grant program. This initiative was taken to support new innovative and more efficient fertilizer production in the region. Additionally, USDA seeks growth in competition as it aims to allay concerns regarding supply chain. With its new initiatives, the USDA continues to introduce more transparency for consumers to make them aware of the safety of agriculture produce. These initiatives aimed at gauging the use of fertilizers, seeds, retail markets, continue to generate momentum for the eco-friendly and high-yield promising nano fertilizers.

Capitalism as a cycle of generational abuse
I am coming to realise more and more, that it is indeed material conditions and circumstance that shape people's thinking.
People only defend capitalism because they can't see any other way of life that is viable to counter it.
(Content warning for childhood trauma)
We are currently in a societal situation where (for the main population who hasn't had this realisation yet) it's like being a child with an abusive parent. The child is never going to see the parent as abusive, because they have no escape from the parent so they just tell themselves that everything is fine and that actually they themselves are the problem if there is any. They keep going because of lack of alternatives, sunk cost fallacy, and social pressure from other people stuck in the same situation who don't want to be alone. Misery loves company as we know, sadly.
Capitalism is our abusive parent that most can't see any way of getting rid of. The only way is to wake up, leave and join other leavers, like us in this community.
You will have to give up some luxuries but the freedom, true fulfilment and peace will be so worth it. You can live without the latest iPhone, the latest fashion and entertainment, but you can't live without thriving ecosystems, nutritious clean food and a supportive community.
We have to be brave and start communities outside of the system. Learn permaculture, learn effective empathetic communication. Start cic off-grid permaculture farms with your friends like I'm doing. You can get permission to live on agricultural land much easier that way. You don't need much money, you can even get interest free loans and grants for this. We can do this, but we have to be brave and actually do the real tangible work in the real world.
We can do this, more and more people are on our side as it becomes more evident that the current system is not in people's best interest and simply not worth the effort anymore (if it ever was)

Right now the average wind farm is about 150 turbines. Each wind turbine needs 80 gallons of oil as lubricant and we're not talking about vegetable oil, this is a PAO synthetic oil based on crude... 12,000 gallons of it. That oil needs to be replaced once a year.
It is estimated that a little over 3,800 turbines would be needed to power a city the size of New York... That's 304,000 gallons of refined oil for just one city.
Now you have to calculate every city across the nation, large and small, to find the grand total of yearly oil consumption from "clean" energy.
Where do you think all that oil is going to come from, the oil fairies?
Not to mention the fact that the large equipment needed to build these wind farms run on petroleum. As well as the equipment required for installation, service, maintenance, and eventual removal.
And just exactly how eco-friendly is wind energy anyway?
Each turbine requires a footprint of 1.5 acres, so a wind farm of 150 turbines needs 225 acres; In order to power a city the size of NYC you'd need 57,000 acres; and who knows the astronomical amount of land you would need to power the entire US. All of which would have to be clear-cut land because trees create a barrier & turbulence that interferes with the 20mph sustained wind velocity necessary for the turbine to work properly (also keep in mind that not all states are suitable for such sustained winds). Boy, cutting down all those trees is gonna piss off a lot of green-loving tree-huggers.
Let's talk about disposal now.
The lifespan of a modern, top quality, highly efficient wind turbine is 20 years.
After that, then what? What happens to those gigantic fiber composite blades?
They cannot economically be reused, refurbished, reduced, repurposed, or recycled so guess what..? It's off to special landfills they go.
And guess what else..? They're already running out of these special landfill spaces for the blades that have already exceeded their usefulness. Seriously! Those blades are anywhere from 120 ft. to over 200 ft. long and there are 3 per turbine. And that's with only 7% of the nation currently being supplied with wind energy. Just imagine if we had the other 93% of the nation on the wind grid... 20 years from now you'd have all those unusable blades with no place to put them... Then 20 years after that, and 20 years after that, and so on.
Golly gee, how green is that?
Oops, I almost forgot about the 500,000 birds that are killed each year from wind turbine blade collisions; most of which are endangered hawks, falcons, owls, geese, ducks, and eagles.
Apparently smaller birds are more agile and able to dart and dodge out of the way of the spinning blades, whereas the larger soaring birds aren't so lucky.
I'm sure the wildlife conservationist folks are just ecstatic about that.
I'm so glad the wind energy people are looking out for the world.

Okay I can't work on it right now but someone please remind me in like a week that I want to make a cria plushie, closer to life size than I usually make my plushies
#my aunt and uncle run an alpaca farm and it's cria season#and they keep posting pictures and they are so ridiculously adorable#I mean technically they are not my aunt and uncle#they are my dad's friends that I (as a small child) unilaterally decided were family#because my uncle is really really good with animals and they always had a bunch#and I loved animals so much as a little kid I was like okay clearly they have to be family#so that I can visit more often and see puppies. the only solution#and then I taught my little brother that they were our aunt and uncle#not really on purpose but also by that time it stuck#and I did get to see the puppies more often!#and now they run a farm! and people bring them rescue animals all the time#I haven't seen them in a few years but last time I was there my uncle walked up to me and handed me a sheep#and then I was just standing there very surprised holding a sheep who was also very surprised#the first time I ever saw a frog in real life (and not at a zoo) was at my aunt and uncle's house#it wasn't their frog it was just a frog chilling on the wall by their door#that's not relevant I just think they are super cool#both frogs and my aunt and uncle
