lol created a Scogan fankid shortly after watching D&W. In fact, I created a whole bunch :D. And for some reason, my brain made it so that:

-two (or well one ig bc their just variants of each other) have scruffy bird wings on their back’s, with one of them having been born from a accidental soul bonding/mating ritual while the other just kinda spawned in ggbffgvv

-one is a violent & world ending villain w/ a symbolism & ‘tinkering’ (AKA dissecting bodies) obsession

-another one is a born-20-years-old clone who eventually figures out a personality & becomes a monotonous metaphorical (bc their super tall & cryptid looking) little shit who also has a world-threatening-villain variant (who also happens to have a kaiju-esc form??? what?????)

-another two are quarter slightly-horrific-alien from a post secret invasion type A.U

-another one is basically in the situation of Paul from dune, making them a cult leader + ‘commander’/contract partner with an eldritch abomination/shifter/spirt(??) (who is also an ironstrange fankid wth)

-another one is a from a fdugding M.L.P pony looking A.U (Y’know those crosship posts on Deviantart where they use M.L.P pony bodies as bases for the characters??? Anyone???????) who is part symbiote & can sense/predict other’s emotions and/or actions

-(you know the drill) another one is from an canon divergence X-men 97’! universe & has horrifying/ragged movie monster teeth + an unhinging jaw (their 5)

-another one has the FUCKING ABSOLUTE SOLVER AS THEIR POWERS (why?????? bc after watching the murder drones final, my thoughts were like: “he hey image if Logan was the A.S host lmao???” (Idk I luv puppet &/or janky movement animation 😁😋✨))

-yet again, another one is an edgy assassin/sort of anti-hero in the future-current reality of a Logan! reincarnation A.U :DDD

-another one (last one fn I swear) is just baby :D. Who’s currently living in an demonic/infection A.U apocalypse with their mum (who is Scott) yaaa:3

Wild Kratts Academy?

Okay, this might be a bit of an out of the box idea, but what if the Wild Kratts Crew hosted a school or summer camp for the Wild Kratts kids (and any of the fankids created by members of the WK fandom)?

It could either be like a boarding school situation where the children travel/live with the Wild Kratts for a certain part of the year, and they are with their families the rest of the year.

Or, it could be a summer camp type deal where they join the Kratts for the summer and hone in on important educational skills and animal/environmental knowledge (I feel like this is probably the more logical option, but I’ll explain both scenarios below the cut).

For the boarding school option….During the time they are with the Wild Kratts, they would learn not only basic skills (reading, writing, math), but there would, obviously, be a huge emphasis on science/creatures! Namely, science or creature based activities would be utilized to help teach the children.

For example: The kids need to learn their letters and sounds, so they will go find creatures whose names begin with those letters/sounds. Or, the children need to learn counting: welp, let’s take them out to count the number of elephants in the herd. And those are just some basic/kindergarten level examples (kindergarten educator here 😂).

Different members of the Wild Kratts team would be assigned to different subjects and age groups. All members would assist with the science part of course, but they could each take specific subjects/age groups.

Perhaps Koki could teach reading/language arts to younger children. Chris could teach math to older students. And so on. (I’m just brainstorming here, I’m not sure which subjects would fit which WK member best, if anyone has any advice or suggestions, feel free to add them in a reblog!)

I also love the idea of the villains, redeemed in this scenario of course, taking part in the learning venture. I feel like Donita would be a fabulous animal (inspired) art teacher. Gourmand a wonderful culinary teacher, specializing in vegetarian meals or foods that are made to look like animals, but are not made from animals.

For the summer camp option, it would be much of the same concept, but instead of having an emphasis on educational activities geared to learn core content knowledge, the activities would be focused solely on science/animal/environment based learning.

With this option, I feel like Aviva would take on a great part of the leadership role, and she would formulate the camp activities to reflect those similar to the experiences she and Zach shared at science camp as children.

Speaking of Zach and the villains…

Funding for such a program could come from grants or donations, and I feel like Zach, and to a lesser extent Donita, Gourmand, and Paisley, would be the individuals responsible for many of these monetary aids.

In turning to the side of good they wanted to help the future generations not turn to villainy against animals and the environment like they had. So, they would use their own money to help ensure the program is well funded.

And if my OC Violet was part of the action in this scenario (speaking specifically of the boarding school option)…. I feel she’d totally be responsible for the academics for the youngest Wild Kratts Academy members: the kindergartners and 1st to 2nd grade aged students.

As a bit of a side note, but also a possible explanation to how this program may have started, I’ve played around with the idea of Zach and Violet homeschooling their children. After some input from @novazentryx I truly feel like this would be the best move for Zach and Violet with their own children.

Due to their work life and busy schedules it would be difficult to remain in one place and allow the children to obtain schooling in a traditional setting (because Zach and Violet join the Wild Kratts Team in the years following the births of their eldest children).

So, Zach and Violet would already have their children with them, so perhaps they could be the “pilot children” for the program. Along with some of the Wild Kratts kids we know and love, and fankids/children of the other Wild Kratts characters (in my AU the fankids created by @rosey100 @lovelynurseandhenchman and @octoqueen10 exist so maybe your fankids will join in or will participate in the summer camp option if not full time/the boarding school???)

So what was your design process like for making Morganite? Inspirations, reference images, stuff like that

Oh Its actually was pretty simple! There was nothing too interesting... I just was feeling silly and wanted to try and draw some more fankids (at this time I already has 3: Thunder, Claude and Ruby). I came to idea of color patterns pretty easily since I wanted all 4 knuxouge kids to look pretty natural for common sonic character designs.

I started to draw them with simple idea of three colored twins w different color pattern (Morgan- primary white w red, Coru- primary red w white)

Their first reference (dated May 2th)

Most interesting thing was about their names! So long story short I wanted twins to have gem based names so I came to... Character AI Assistant and ask him about gems that primary white w red/ red w white and amongst all rock there was morganite and corundum. As for Topaz well Ill talk about her more when I`ll be talking about AU lore and all that stuff. As for Ushma... She didnt has name at all so me and my friend Akawa did some brainstorming and found out about one of old temples- yes she named after a temple.

And then SFS2 started and I really wanted to join but I didnt know who to choose because I war very shy about all three of my first kids... So I choose Morganite and give him some new clothing.

There was no references, there was no inspiration I just created guy ever and called it a day

Name: Nadeshiko Hirose

Age: 7ish

Stand Name: Cotton Fields

Stand description: If the user touches a plush object, then they will be able to manipulate it. It has a “main” body which is sentient, if the vessel for the sentience is destroyed then it can get transferred to a new body

I wasn’t sure how I wanted to go about making her at first, trying to make her obviously be a yukakoi kid, but then I realized that I should actually try to make her a full blown OC, and then give her some traits of her parents to add on, and not just be her whole personality.

I knew I wanted her to be a Stand User, so it became a game of, let’s figure out her stand and go from there. I think I must’ve been thinking of Daiya with her fluffy design, which then reminded me of a That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime character, Alice Rondo, whose power is to manipulate her dolls, which is how I got Nadeshiko’s stand! Though while brainstorming the actual usage’s of her stand now that I had a basic idea down, I did get really attached to the idea of a sentient plush that’s basically just her opposite, like Koichi and Act 3, so I decided that she could have both!

As for her name, I’ve once heard that Yukako’s name is a play on the “Yamato Nadeshiko” which is basically just the “ideal Japanese woman” meaning something along the lines of “Perfect Flower” ofc as Nadeshiko is 7 she’s not actually a play on the “perfect Japanese woman” like Yukako is, I figured it’d be fun to take the name for my OC kid for her. Add on that Koichi gets his last name from the Hirose River, technically her name is something like, “Beloved Flower by the River” or at least, something like that lol. Here’s the wiki article that I found that explains the term:

As for her stand name, I figured that since it has to do with plushies, the first thing that came to my mind was “cotton” since that’s what’s often used as stuffing for toy animals. I looked up Cotton song and found two different songs, both named Cotton Fields. They both seemed to fit the musical aesthetic that jojo music references go into, so either song is fine. Bonus, one of the first things that came up when I searched Cotton was Cotton Eyed Joe, which would be hilarious, wasn’t what I was looking for lol. I do love making Yukako and Josuke twins though, so it would be a funny contender

In the mentioned AUs where Yukako and Josuke are twins, her name’s probably more Nadeshiko Hirose-Higashikata instead of just Hirose

To be honest Troglor’s design looks complicated as hell so I don’t have any plans to do anything with him in the Dottieverse, though I can see the appeal of shipping him with Gwimbly. I have nothing in mind for Professor Psychotic’s homunculus as of now but maybe I’ll come up with something! I feel like I’m a bit more likely to be inspired to create a role for him than I am for Jason, but we’ll see.

I am brainstorming possibilities for a Grim x Gnarly kid and an Amy Pimling x Alpha kid! No promises at all but those are the pairings I’m most likely to take a crack at in the near future.

9/9/2024 Update: The homunculus has a role now lol
