How Shallan, Adolin, & Kaladin would Divide up Chores (If They Lived Together)

If these three were roommates (reader's choice as to whether they also share a bedroom ha ha) and also lived in the modern world, here is how I think they would divide up the house chores.

1. Laundry: Adolin

This is because Kaladin & Shallan would both look disdainfully at the "gentle cycle" or "dry clean only" instructions on a piece of clothing, shove it directly into the washer with everything else, and dump on some bargain-brand detergent. "Clothes that cannot survive this are too weak for me," Kaladin would intone and Shallan would be like, "Yeah, if they die, they die." And Adolin in the background would scream, "OKAY I DO THE LAUNDRY FROM NOW ON."

2. Dishes: Kaladin

I'm just thinking back to Kaladin's surgeon training and how his dad was like, "We must wash our hands son" and Kaladin was like, "Nobody else washes their hands are we sure that rotspren even exist" and Lirin was like, "It is the wisdom of the heralds, my son." Or something like that. Anyway, Kaladin seems to be uniquely trained in hygiene and avoiding sickness, so he should take care of the dishes.

3. Dusting: Shallan

Shallan would fill the house with art, and she wouldn't want it to get dusty (plus, I'm feeling knick-knacks from her), so I think she would be the one to make sure all of the art and books and other stuff stays dust-free.

4. Cooking: Shared

I don't think any of the three is a stand-out cook, so they should just take turns. Shallan-as-Radiant follows recipes very exactly, Kaladin keeps making soup, and Adolin is pretty sure adding wine makes any dish fancy.

...Sometimes Rock cooks for them and then they have good food.

5. Paying Bills: Kaladin

Kaladin scoffs that no lighteyes know the value of money and that Shallan & Adolin won't budget correctly, so he'll take care of any shared household finances like paying utilities. I bet he balances checkbooks, too.

6. Taking out trash: Adolin

"You can handle gross things. You poop yourself all the time," says Shallan, a wording that Adolin does not appreciate but cannot argue with.

7. Vacuuming: Shallan

Pattern likes it when the vacuum makes neat lines in the carpet and hums excitedly the whole time.

8. Grocery Shopping: Shared

No particular reason. I just think it would be cute if they all went to the grocery store together.

9. Cleaning gutters: Kaladin

It's high up there, but Kaladin is not afraid of heights. He kinda likes being on the roof. It's like chipping crem off of a roof, only it's leaves. It makes sense.

10. Answering the door: Adolin

When the doorbell rings, the resident extrovert is sent to deal with it while Shallan and Kaladin hide behind the couch.

11. Getting rid of scary bugs: Shallan

If there is a spider or a big moth or even a centipede, it is Shallan who handles it because, as a wise tumblr poster once said, "Cremlings is bugs."

THE LORE THOUGHTS

Evil Dad lore theory 1 : we haven't heard anything about brozones dad other than - "3. They will get the happy ending. Let's just say it has something to do with their dad." Their dad, the question is, HOW THE HELL WITH THEIR DAD DO SMTH ABOUT IT, like he can't just tell them to get along and then they just forgive each other?? There's something else..... What if, HE'S the cause OF THE INCIDENT? As someone who's used to some au's having an abusive mom or dad, I feel like, the dad somehow manipulated JD into killing grandma? Like telling JD something to manipulate him into killing her, but why would he want her dead?

But that theory doesn't add up since the answer you gave for "does JD want to kill anyone?" You answered "nah, he doesn't really wish death on anyone to be honest." Meaning he didn't want to kill grandma after their dad manipulated him, so that makes us move into the next evil dad lore theory 2.

Evil dad lore theory 2 : what if the dad FORCED JD to kill grandma? So I've been thinking about a possibility, what if the parents at first didn't know JD is the death god when he was born, making JD accidentally kill the mom since the parents didn't know about his powers, that leading the dad wanting revenge by ruining JDs life, starting by forcing JD to kill grandma and some brothers hating him for it, and then forcing JD to kill Delta? But I don't think it's like that since how will the other brothers be born? UNTO THE THIRD EVIL DAD LORE THEORY

3rd : Just as you said, Branch powers aren't all developed yet, meaning the powers didn't come right after birth. They get their powers at a certain age on a random day. The brothers were born and branch is an egg, JD running around, playing tag with Bruce before he bumped into the Mom, not knowing his powers came and accidentally killed the mom. Same things happen like in evil dad lore theory 2. The dad wanted revenge, doing all those, he stalked JD so he could know what to do to ruin his life, forcing him to kill grandma and delta. After hearing about Hickory, he came back to force him but at a bad time as the brothers also found JD, making the truth be revealed...

Breakup low theory: During trolls 2, Hickory and Branch talk on the raft that I forgot what was it about, but I think it was something about broppy.

Does hickory know that JD is the god of death?

1. dickory found out and forced hick to breakup, scared for his brother being harmed by a god of death. 2, JD broke up with him because he doesn't want to harm anybody else. 3, dickory and hickory left because of their bounty hunter job.

Either way, hickory wants to apologize to him, that talk between him and Branch was just him wanting advice... Another theory that's connected to this is...RHONDA.... After the events of trolls 2, Hickory finds a baby armadillo bus, adopts her and gives it to JD as a way of apologizing.

OR after the brothers forgive JD, and Bruce and Clay finds out how uncomfortable JD was when they were hunting for them and gave Rhonda as an apology present

With Trump looking on track to win, I just want to give some hope for people right now.

The Senate is Republican, but two years in the future a third of the Senate will be reelected, meaning Trump has at most 2 years to work with an agreeable Senate

Whether or not Trump goes through with project 2025 or not, this will most definitely be our last term with him

If he doesn't do what he promised, his voter base will get mad they didn't get what they voted for

If he does do what he promised, his voter base will get mad when they realise tariffs=higher costs and when their taxes don't decrease

People WILL protest in their states and nationally and either a) Trump listens or b) Trump ignores it and people become more disillusioned with him

There is no way Trump will do something that can't be reversible or managed by the later President

If Trump supporters do become disillusioned, we could see a blue midterm

1/2 of Congress is needed to pass a bill

Just take a breath. It isn't going to be great, but we can and will survive.
