dont mind me, im just thinking about how even after all the shit she saw in golyn niis, rin still had some hope that she would be able to deal with it and move on bc altan had done so after speer, and she went looking for him, bc if he could just tell her that she would be okay then she would keep trying, but then she found him getting high bc he in fact had not been able to deal with it, and thats when she finally lost all hope, finding out that altan was an addict was the thing that finally destroyed her heart, bc he was the strongest person she knew, he was her hero and commander, even after he was an asshole to her she still admired and respected his strength,and if the guy she looked up to had lost hope, had never been who she thought he was, than what chances did she have?

Something about Nezha saving Rin during the attack on Sinegard and then saving her again in the grotto, both times when she was certain he hated her and was willing to let her die. Him refusing to kill her when they were on opposite sides of a war, despite having numerous opportunities to, facing pressure from most of the country to, and being the only person with the capability to. But in the end Nezha being forced to hold the knife that she kills herself with, because the only force he couldn’t save her from was herself.

aLoF | Lone Wolf Squad (OCs)

I'm so excited to finally introduce the Lone Wolf Squad (aka Lone Wolves) to you! The squad is commanded by my Jedi OC Lupe, and you can read about them in my TCW/TBB longfic A Lupe Of Faith. They just made their first appearance in chapter 4: Pick Of The Pack.

Some funfacts about these gentlemen (top left Ragnar, top right Twist, bottom left Claw, bottom right Fang) below the cut (:

thinking about how nezha constantly being shunned all his life by his own family, his father didn't care for him that he let nezha go into the grotto and be claimed by the dragon, his siblings practically ignored him, and his own mother refused to look at him after mingzha died in the grotto.

and then comes rin who apparently he cares about very much to the point he's certain that he loves her, and as we know rin also shared the same sentiment towards him, but she never actually understood him why he is the way he is and why he did the things he did.

the only person who had an ounce of idea about what nezha is going through was only kitay, as kitay has told rin several times how nezha is actually suffering too. but then kitay died along with rin, and nezha once again only by himself to continue the legacy for the sake of their country, but this time he has no one else beside him. no father, no mother, no siblings, no friends. alone, carrying the burden of a nation.

love how in episode 13, li lianhua confesses to fang duobing that he's involved with di feisheng because di feisheng wants him to "save someone" and fang duobing's first reaction to that is not 'why would you agree, he's di feisheng' but rather 'why would he ask you that, you're a hack doctor'
