I have grown wise enough to see what a fool I've beenlong after summer is gone I feel the cold gnawing at my skinyou are a quilt of the best things that I failed to seein a world of chaos you were a sweet anomaly you tucked me in while I tucked you away shelved and neglected forgotten and betrayedwhen winter finally came without you life hasn't been the same.
Love a self-inflicted time loop. The main character isn’t trapped. They can stop whenever they want. But how can they when things aren’t perfect yet? They can do better than this. They need to try again. They can get it right this time. They just need to try again. They can stop anytime they want. Just one more time. They can fix this. They just need to try again. There are still things to fix. They just need to try again.
can’t believe bill literally had his “my ex-wife still misses me, but her aim is getting better!” moment when ford tried and immediately failed at shooting him with the quantum destabilizer
I yearn for engiespy cuddling in some corner in the middle of a match like the others aren't being blown up by each other just a few feet away... do you see my vision...
"homura is an evil abuser who wants to control madoka and hates their friends" tired trope, canonically untrue, congrats on falling for the facade put up by a middle schooler.
"homura sees herself as inherently evil and abusive due to her upbringing, past actions, and status as a witch, which is still ongoing even at the end of rebellion" fresh, new, actually closer to canon, doesn't demonize a child for being mentally ill.
glasses whump cuz jinkies bitch I can’t see without my glasses
whumpee flinching too early or too late.
whumper making a big show of crushing their glasses underfoot
whumpee feeling a hand on their shoulder and jumping because they can just barely see the dark shape behind them but can’t make out their shadowed features.
a whumpee losing their glasses privileges early-on in capture. maybe they go years unable to clearly see their captor’s face.
a whumpee who hasn’t been able to read anything in years. anything short of a big headline is just jumbled black shapes. maybe they can’t even read a phone screen. could they call for help even if they had the chance? the feeling of uselessness at finally getting access to a laptop or a phone, only to find they can barely even see the icons on the screen. they get caught before they can even type in the password.
whumper trying to console them, promising whumpee they don’t have to worry about their vision any longer. there is nothing worth seeing apart from whumper.
glasses-less whumpee finally escaping into the big outside world. unable to read steeet signs, bumping into strangers, wandering into the street and getting nearly hit by cars. drawing so so much attention. panicking because they didn’t realize just how blind they really are, out here. just how unprepared. how useless. almost like they’re better off back with whumper. where things were painful, but at least predictable.
if they get a recovery arc, give me that moment where they finally put on a new pair again, and remember what it’s like to see, to feel like themselves. to be out of the dark and the fog, to finally feel like a person again.
calling them fools gold cause they're both trying to trick eachother for their own gain (fools gold is "fake" gold. pyrite btw) but also because they're both fucking idiots . they are the fools
[Video ID: Animated video of a drawing of the character Clancy from the fictional universe created by the band Twenty One Pilots, the video has a distorted version of the song “Vignette” as background music and an effect on top that makes it look like a shaky recording of a footage from an old CRT monitor; the lyrics for Vignette are synced to the song and can be read bellow in yellow text. The video starts with an unfocused shaky camera which then focuses on a bust shot of Clancy, who can be seen wearing the mask and outfit from the music video for the song “Overcompensate”, these being a gray balaclava mask with a burgundy stripe around the middle and a black jacket with red duck tape in each shoulder. His black stained hands are covering his face while leaving room between the fingers to see the eyes, which are looking directly at the viewer and glowing an unnatural and bright yellow hue; this glow becomes brighter and dimmer during different times of the video. Around his left eye, circles a yellow halo of straight lines becoming ever so slightly bigger and smaller throughout the video. The video ends with the camera unfocusing and the whole scene becoming blurry once again. End of ID]
one of the things that fascinate me about thawne: yes, he CAN be normal with kids! surprisingly normal!
((not at all times, though. his mental illness still spills through and as usual he, in trying to manipulate or hurt others, spits out at them the exact stuff that would hurt him (or have in his childhood/barry's rejection interpretation) the most in the first place lmao))
but at the same time. his like second instinct when doing his bullshit is FUCK THEM (as) KIDS
