“Grandmother is visiting,” Damian suddenly said with no warning and with his usual not-quite demanding tone. 

“Who?” Tim wasn’t the only one to startle, seeing as Bruce had practically froze, a downturn to his lips in a silent show of confusion. 

Damian scowled. “Are you deaf Drake? Grandmother is coming to Gotham to, quote, make sure I am being properly cared for.” None of them had known that Ras was with anyone actually. At least Tim was pretty sure that would have been in the files. 

“Oh?” Dick didn’t quite crouch to Damian’s height but it was a near thing. “She-” “He,” Damian corrected, interrupting him. They all exchanged a glance before Dick continued. 

“Is he coming to the Manor or…” 

Damian scoffed again, a tiny bit of a flush against his face. “No, Grandmother will most likely be staying with Akhi-”

I need to marinate more thoughts for this but. okay so gravity falls au. partially inspired by this. fiddleford has the memory gun and he's This Close to using it on himself to erase what he saw in the portal. he pauses. he thinks, just because I forget doesn't mean stanford will stop building the portal. he thinks it's all or nothing. he goes to stanford's shack in the woods. he sneaks in through the side door and sees stanford sleeping on the couch. it's dark outside. the lights are out. fiddleford can barely make out the shape of his former-friend's body. fiddleford looks at Stanford one last time. he types into the memory gun, Stanford Pines. he points the gun. half a second before he fires, Stanford stirs, as if sensing the danger he is in. he manages to get out "who-" before fiddleford, panicking, pulls the trigger before he can chicken out completely.

stanley wakes up on a couch he doesn't remember falling asleep in, with a terrified looking man standing over him, holding a glowing gun, and thinks this is one hell of a situation i've gotten myself into

I am by no means an expert on the subject at all, but if I could give one piece of advice to people who are job hunting, it is to always save a copy of the description of any job you apply for. It’s getting RIDICULOUS out there (at least in my experience/industry) in terms of how long between when a job gets posted and when they start contacting applicants for interviews, and unless you have a photographic memory, or the job is still active on the website you found it on, you will forget details about the job before you get invited to interview and it’s probably not a strong sign if you ask the interviewer what the heck the job is again (even if it’s fair given the elapsed time and how many applications people expect you to have going at once).

If it’s not already available in PDF format, just click the print option on your browser’s menu when you’re on the webpage with the job listing and when it gives you the window with the printer specifications, select “save as PDF” on the dropdown of available printers instead and save it to the same folder where you’re saving your cover letters/resumes/application materials with the name of the company/job title/date you applied in the file name. easy peasy. I still forget to do this occasionally but even remembering to do it half the time has saved me a lot of trouble overall.

job hunting sucks and is demoralizing on the best day, so keep your head up, do little things like this to make your life easier, and remember that I love you 💖 you got this!

I think it's worth noting that NONE of the humans have names yet but the white cat? Her name is Jezebel. And her human man loves her very, very much. And always refers to her formally by name. Whether simply Jezebel, Lady Jezebel, Master Jezebel, etc. But his wife calls her Jez sometimes and he's like "I can't believe the most important women in my life are so close. I'm so lucky, honey. one of my favorite scenes in The Sign is from ep07 pt5 when the scooby doo squad is having their bullpen SVU conference meeting to discuss the Art Kid Love Triangle Case cause Dr Chameleon is chilling there and as soon as, I mean as SOON as Phaya sees him it's on sight, those broad ass shoulders tense up, he's ready to throw down harder than the Rock was against Vin Diesel in fast & furious and on instagram

He's looking at the Doc like "doctor (eat shit and die bitch)" and the Dr Champagne is looking at Phaya right back like "Phaya (had it not been for the laws of this land.png)" while absolutely no one else in the room is copping to this weird ass tension they're trying to solve one love triangle with a bunch of Art Kids not trying to get involved in some c-drama fantasy ass shit

then as they're talking about the case Dr Manhattan is like "see when I love something I never let it go ever" and Phaya is like "level 01 ass behavior, you should watch Frozen and let it the fuck go" while Tharn the object of said centuries long love triangle is looking back and forth tennis match style internally thinking about how he dreamt Phaya blowing his back out against the shower and hoping ppl can't see his ungodly thirst on main while the rest of their coworkers are asking themselves if sitting in an ice bath for sixteen hours and doing 6 years of school was really worth whatever the fuck is happening right now
