There is nothing that justifies attacking a Palestinian instead of fighting for Palestinian liberation. If you don’t agree with whatever motaz does for whatever reason, shut your fucking mouth and keep your opinions to yourself.

Maybe… just maybe, the priority is a ceasefire and support to Palestinians right now? The goal is a free Palestine? Justice for the thousands of men women and children being blown to pieces? End of the bloodshed? Maybe care about that rather than who took a photo with whom.

Maybe recognize that you are privileged to be in your home safe and warm and clean and well fed, and that this gives you a responsibility to fight for others instead of an invitation to show your ass and how much of a abhorrent piece of shit your really are.

HELP PALESTINIAN ARCHITECT EVACUATE HER FAMILY FROM GAZA

This is a verified fundraiser for a family of four to evacuate to Cairo. The fund's creator, Amal Abu Shammala, reached out to me personally to share this since she's failed to get her fund on Operation Olive Branch and Let's Talk Palestine's fundraising linktree.

I, a student actively protesting against investment in Israel, called my grandmother yesterday. I offhandedly mentioned that I was still bruised from my run in with the cops. She was appalled. She asked me “why on earth would you be protesting?!”. I, somewhat surprised, she knows I care about left wing political causes and like, human life, told her I was protesting because I believed in the cause. She then asked me “you believe in the cause of getting rid of Jews?!?”

Of course not. I told her that I was protesting against genocide and that many of the people protesting beside me were Jewish. That our encampment held a Seder led by Jewish students followed by Maghrib (evening prayers) for Muslim students. She was so surprised. She told me to be safe and to call my mom if I got arrested.

These right wing fake news rabbit holes are so easy to fall down and get stuck in. To the extent that this very smart woman genuinely thought I was protesting to get rid of Jewish people rather than against genocide.

Good luck out there folks. Keep pushing, keep supporting Palestinians and protestors in any way you can. Call your grandma.

Please I want to draw your attention to Hani's campaign. @skatehani has contacted me directly and has only one request for all of you. To help him evacuate his family to Egypt. Hani is currently in Belgium doing all he can, to collect the funds. This genocide has cost his family their home and he has also lost his father, making him the sole breadwinner of his family of 10 members. Please the goal is of 50,000 euroes and only 10,279 euroes have been collected so far. Time is crucial and we need more funds. I know all of us are trying our best but we need a little more. Just a little more.

The raffle is for 5 Palestinian thobes, made in Palestine. They are beautiful and he is giving them away. The condition to participate is to donate 50 euroes and 5 people will be selected for the draw. A donation of 100 euroes would be considered as donating twice and that would be very much appreciated. The end goal is to reach 25 thousand to complete the draw. Gofundme and Paypal both works. All you have to do is donate and then send Hani a screenshot privately.

Remember, Hani is going through very very difficult time now. He will start the draw after he reaches his goal, so it is highly suggested that you follow his blog and be patient with him.

hi lovelies, realized that i did not say it on here before, but i will say it now.

i’m gonna be MIA from this blog for one week. bisan from gaza has called for a worldwide strike from january 21-28 to show support for the palestinians during this horrific genocide. striking involves several things (which i will provide in pics below), including completely abstaining posting on social media unless it is about palestine.

just in the last week, israel murdered over 1000 palestinians. there are no more fully-functioning hospitals in gaza, only 15 semi-functioning ones. the united states government itself has issued a statement saying that it does not believe in a ceasefire.

this is not war. this is not a conflict. this is an ethnic cleansing. this is genocide.

Urgent fundraiser for the Qanou family!

The Qanou family needs your help to raise evacuation/survival funds. As you can see by clicking the link, their situation is unique in that they haven't been receiving financial support for months where others had been.

it sucks, but you have to put your oxygen mask on before helping the others around you- not because you're more important, but because if you pass out, you can't help anyone.

Biden has not done enough. he has done less than nothing about the ongoing genocide in palestine. We can argue forever about whether he will be easier to pressure into action than a republican; I don't think he will. i still need to ask you to vote for him, because for me to keep giving money to gazan gofundmes, i need a job. failing to elect biden means electing the guy who started his real estate career refusing to rent to black people. it means electing the party that wants to do away with housing and labor protections for queer people. it means electing the politicians calling for abortion bans and healthcare restrictions.

fighting for all those rights cost money and time, and not having them costs even more money and time. protest our shitty options by withholding your vote once Palestine is free.

i'm not asking that you donate to biden's campaign. I'm not even asking you to leave a protest to go vote instead! (Though- if you're enrolled in college, that's normally an accepted reason to vote via absentee ballot.) but if you can vote, and choose not to, I am asking that you not be surprised when other anti-genocide protesters and financial backers start saying they no longer have the resources or availability to do anything but survive.
