The storm had finally settled. Rachel's patience and fear and trauma had almost been worth it, just to feel the dopamine rush of being free again. Just to be out of that damned dark room, the heat of fire at her fingers as it all went up in flames.

She couldn't open with that though, especially with how Chloe looked. Chloe wasn't at the top of her mind during a majority of her being missing, but it was clear she lived rent free in the others'. She knew that when they were together. Those times they snuck off to vandalize shit or piss off Frank or just run away for a little while. It meant everything, even if it didn't seem like it. Something about her elusive nature, her ability to stay on top of others' intentions. She basically had to put herself under witness protection to pull it off.

When she was around the school, Rachel thought no one could touch her without burning themselves. Literally and socially, she thought herself on top of the world, center stage. Everything was about her and her theater and her demons.

On top of that, she held a personal secret so fairytale-like that especially Chloe never found out about it. Acting skills always reign supreme, after all. Although, it didn't save her in time to avoid Nathan and the Vortex Club.

When she heard Nathan and Mr. Jefferson were now behind bars, she simply came out of hiding. And disappearing wasn't a walk in the park. The amount of explanations that front her mind wouldn't do out here. Not when she just finished her community rounds, also trying to get a slip of cash without resorting to horrible matters which... Have definitely crossed her mind.

Rachel stands casually with a hand on her hip, barely able to pull off that winning smile. Her heart is beating so loudly she can hear it in her ears, but if both of them freak out they might cause a scene. So, tucking back her hair, she offers a crumb.

The biggest wrench of them all is that she didn't expect Chloe and her mom to stick around this dump, but of course now it's the world's biggest junkyard. Of course she'd still find solace here. She does feel relief in that, but also a carefully tucked away regret that might have to have the dust blown off it in the next ten minutes.

"My poster said 'missing', remember?"

As if she's keeping an eye out, her gaze drifting and not meeting Chloe's eyes as she continues. There's still a vague sense of panic that someone else less savory would see her, but so far it's just been the most resilient Arcadia Bay had to offer. Some recognized her, some were relieved she's alive, but so far her own parents haven't cropped up and she can't bring herself to find out. Yet.

"You still live somewhere in town? Want to hear all about my forced vacation, right? I'll drop you all the lore you could ask for. Promise."

Saw this. This is Rachel Amber with Chloe Price.

Doubles lives, overprotectiVe father, Donna-Dana, the doe, blonds, trailers, drugs, smoking mothers....

However, I don't think they're the same.

Rachel is Not just another Laura Palmer, she's not solely a mystery unsolved. Her presence & positivity matters.

Laura suffered more than Rachel, but I like Rachel far more. Rach still tries to hang on, Laura is just unhinged.

To me, Chloe Price meant to Rachel Amber more than Donna is to Laura. This really shows how AmberPrice is more than best friends and how they genuinely love each other. Amber, unlike Palmer, tried to protect Price in her own way by not getting her involved into her own messes, even if that meant hiding the truth from her.

Idk, I just like AmberPrice more. Rachel wouldn't say to some other guy "Even Chloe doesn't know me." Cuz Chloe is the closest to know who she truly is, headcannon she'd more likely say "even I don't know me".

She wouldn't go to her house and cry out "are you.. my- best friend?" Because she knows they are HELLA best friends who'll stick through thick and thin. Also Chloe freaking Price is just more of a match for Rachel hella Amber than the other pair. (Pls don't attack me, all personal opinions here)

Snap: Rachel does finger guns, the audible snapping sound appearing as a lightly damaging speech bubble.

I’m a Leo: Rachel does a ‘meow’ motion with her left hand.

Special moves: (BOLD TEXT IS FINAL BOSS FORM ONLY. You can put her in final boss mode if you enter a secret code on the character select screen.)

Beckoning: Rachel blows a kiss across the screen. If the heart connects, the opponent is out in a trance and walks towards Rachel. Against Principal Wells, Rachel pulls out a straight A report card and tosses it across.

Clique Chameleon: A move with four different version depending on the attack button: Each one gives her a different outfit briefly.

She was a Sk8r Girl: Rachel slides forwards on a board, before shooting towards the opponent. (Wears a skater punk outfit.)

Firewalk with me: Rachel slides forward on her knees, giving a rock star esque shout. (Wears her punk getup from Before The Storm.)

Star of the theatre: Rachel grabs the opponent by the arm and does a little theatre dance routine before the opponent trips. Rachel chuckles behind her palm. (Wears her drama outfit.)

Self expression: Rachel draws a small dragon with a marker, which flies towards the opponent while breathing a small flame. (Wears the outfit from the end of Before the Storm.)

Missing Girl: A ring of five missing person posters rotate around Rachel, causing damage if they hit.

Zap: Rachel snaps her fingers, a bolt of lightning striking the ground for a stun.

Hot Stuff: Rachel sends a wave of fire along the ground. Can follow up with two more waves. Just to ruin your day.

Masterpiece Move:

Whatever happened to Rachel?: Rachel gains a white aura for a moment and if the opponent hits her, a camera flash stuns the opponent. The screen then becomes a picture of the opponent and Rachel, before someone unknown rips it in half, returning to the arena with the opponent being dealt moderate damage.

Perfect Storm: Begins with Rachel shouting at the opponent. She then levitates into the air, summoning a monstrous tornado to strike the opponent, this does close to 60% damage, but is final boss exclusive.

Victory animation:

Playable: Rachel looks at the player and winks, before disappearing behind a whirlwind of posters.

Final boss: A gust of wind blows a flier onto the screen, which is a missing person’s poster of the defeated opponent.
