Part 13: And Still the Light Returns

Belen was near. He had passed the Narog that morning and must be well within the highlands by now. Any moment, he would appear from the trees, shifting from longing to presence through the twilit shadows. The parting would be mended, his son was coming home.

Now settled in Nargothrond, Balan looks forward to welcoming his younger son to join him there. But each has changed in the months since Balan’s departure and they navigate these distances in past and present, home and journey, presence and absence.

It's time to change some scenery!!#Chara using their game narrator voice like “golly!” and “amazing!”#Eimmet high :)) i was really hoping to be able to reference Temmie Chang here. An integral part of UT/DR!! She's awesome!#WE ARE OFFICIALLY ON Day 2 BABY #yes- there is still a little everyman easter egg as well as some other things... ;)#I tried so many new and different things for these panels. I was a little nervous implementing them. But im having a lot of fun with it!#i try to put my own artistic enjoyment above all other things :) its what I strive for.#Angle's landing day! excited for the festivities!#Chara is feeling stabby :)#loved detailing Chara's hand in the last page. Skippy’s been here for a little over three months! He’s a very fast learner, here’s a few things he’s learned how to do so far:

-eat food without being scared it’ll be taken away

-walk on a leash

-play fetch (his fav is the tennis ball)

-get the zoomies

-sit and shake for a treat

-go outside without being scared

-watch for people to get home

his favorite treats are: cucumber slices, red bell pepper strips, fresh raspberries/strawberries from the garden, salmon jerky & salmon skins from trader joe’s

also Ginger says hello

#he LOVES to play #and it’s been very rewarding watching him come out of his shell!#the only person he barks/growls at is my mom though???#and i have a feeling that has to do with how he was treated at the hoarder house he came from #anyway it’s satisfying to know that you are your dog’s favorite person #my dogs #dog updates that no one asked for :)#also i can not believe it’s almost been a year since i lost Mickey :( i miss him #also also we got our floors replaced! finally no more dog pee carpet lmfao
