It's been a while since I drew this fella! Not since March this year, and only once since May 2023! Coincidentally I'm posting this right as it's storming outside right now. xp

I drew this before bed earlier. I'm nowhere near starting a new webcomic yet, but I'm hesitant of doing my next webcomic in the same style as this one because of it being kind of time-consuming. I'm looking for a style I can do in at least half the time... so here is me exploring that!

Overall, my method with this one was simply:

A little shading, but not too much; just basic indications

Monochromatic coloring

Bright visible eyes despite darker lighting conditions

No inking; keep the sketch lines

This MAY be farfetched but you know how Caitlyn has two different eye shapes?

Her right eye has the same shape as her mothers where her left is more monolid like her fathers

Alot of her urge to fight was for revenge of her mother's death and caused her to react the way she did for the most part, which was fed by Ambessa's manipulation

During the final battle, Caitlyn is fighting against Ambessa and she gets stabbed in the eye, her right eye that's the same as her mothers. The next time we see her with her eyepatch on, she doesn't seem to want to fight anymore and is more peaceful. The part reminiscing her mother in her has died, and she mourns it in a healthy way, also no longer getting manipulated by Ambessa

This may be an extremely far fetched take, but I was quite tired when thinking it so make of this post what you will and take it with a grain of salt lmao
