Designed to be an expert in hand-to-hand combat and a bully who picks up fights indiscriminately and beats up his victims with his special kickboxing and wrestling skills. He appears to be among the strongest experiments when it comes to raw physical strength.

He is violent, short-tempered and not the brightest, enjoying defeating those much weaker than him as well as opponents that could be considered fighters to show off his power, but gets frustrated quickly when his opponent is stronger and more skillful than him. After being rehabilitated, he can be a lot more calmer and very helpful.

There is a bug in the Android app causing it to crash if certain gifts are earned. We have a fix for this coming in the next version of the Android app.

We’re aware of a bug in the activity view in the iOS app which is duplicating the blog name in the activity text. We have a fix coming in the next app version here, too.

You asked so let me lay out the mental gymnastics I have done to reach buddie roomates

1. Not a single bts of that loft. I feel like we were getting loft bts all the time last year (also there were like so many loft scenes last year too so that might be why)

2. Built the biggest most expensive rolling stage thing of all time. I believe either they have to build new sets this year or rent the sets from fox = bucks loft didnt make the cut (pure spec on my part watch oliver post bts of the loft today on his ig takeover)

3. “Giving the fans what theyre asking for” in terms of buddie what the fans have been asking for (at least that I see the most and think the writers would be aware of) is buddie canon, trapped dads (which was mostly just finale spec but I do think could happen in cruise disaster), buck breakdown/therapy, buckley diaz fam content, death to bucks loft/buddie roommates. And buddie roommates not only captures 2 of those but is also my fav of them so my mind went there

4. Buck and eddie closer than ever / knowing each other on a deeper level than before (Im paraphrasing bc I cant remember all 20 devastating ryan quotes rn): from personal experience, you can be very close with someone, but living with them is a whole new experience and you learn things about people you never knew before. One of the most intimate ways to get to know someone imo

5. Kind of like a said with a newish audience, 10 ep season that includes 2ep big emergency and madney wedding, and also the fact I feel the show has never explicitly hinted at buddie (I dont count the s2 stuff tim has said was fan service and 601/612 felt like it but thats it) I dont think full buddie canon is on the table this season. But a great way to explicitly hint that buddie canon is happening at some point would be roommates storyline

In conclusion: there will probably be 30 loft scenes this season and Im dumb but one can dream

“Leave Him”

It was a running joke between them for years.

Whenever Lily came into work ranting about her husband’s latest mishap with his friends - an explosive experiment in their kitchen or run-in with muggle police - Pandora teasingly told her to “leave him and run away with me.”

When her own husband printed an embarrassing article in his magazine - questioning celebrity identities or the existence of alien creatures - Lily bumped her hip and said, “You should leave him and open a flower shop with me.”

They were friends. Coworkers at a prestigious potioneers’ lab in Diagon Alley that luncheoned together every week day, shared meaningful looks, and met up for play dates every Sunday at the park with their kids. Harry and Luna were fast friends from their first meeting, when Harry took Luna’s hand and gently led her to the swings.

It was a joke, until it wasn’t.

Pandora stared at Lily in astonishment, her hands trembling against Lily’s waist. She followed Lily into the loo after she’d walked into the office with tears streaming down her cheeks. No words were needed. Pandora didn’t require an explanation to offer comfort.

Then, Lily kissed her. It wasn’t friendly. It was real.

Every platonic thought flew from her mind. The world’s axis tilted the opposite direction, yet still rotated around the same ball of sunshine, Lily. It always was and forever would be Lily.

“What…happened?” Pandora asked, resisting the urge to flee from the volcano of emotions bubbling to the surface. Feelings that she’d repressed for so long now overwhelmed her all at once.

“I ended it,” Lily said, half-sobbing. Her warm hands framed Pandora’s face. “We tried an open relationship for a while, hoping it would fix things. I’ve felt guilty that I couldn’t be as intimate as he wanted, as he needed, really. He found someone who could and I couldn’t continue playing along. I was holding him back, holding myself back.”

Pandora sagged against her, trying to find the right words. To figure out how to describe all of these feelings that she’d boxed up and hidden away. She never thought she could have this. It was a fantasy that she enjoyed in her own mind, a little moment of escapism before returning to reality. Returning to a life that was satisfying, but unfulfilled.

“You don’t have to say anything. I just had to…I don’t know.” Lily’s hands began to slip away, her chin dropping to her chest. “Show you how much I love you? Is that a daft thing to say to a married woman?”

Pandora caught her wrists and lifted Lily’s hands back to where they belonged, cradling her face. She closed her eyes and leaned into Lily’s warmth. This was what she wanted, what she needed. Her own needs were long ago abandoned to care for Luna, but now…now that Lily was here and felt the same way? I can’t lose her.

“Lily, if you’re daft for loving me, then I’m equally daft for loving you,” she said, leaning in to press a soft kiss to her lips. Against those lips, Pandora whispered, “We will make this work, I promise.”

“I can’t ask you for this, Pandora. You’re happy with Xeno and have Luna—”

Pandora hushed her gently and wrapped her arms around the curves that she’d only ever dreamed about holding. “Lily, you make me happy. Besides, I think even Xeno, oblivious as he is, saw this coming. He’s hinted at us seeing other people so many times.”

“Please,” Lily pleaded, hugging her tight. “Don’t let me ruin your life.”

“As if you ever could.”

From my perusal of Vesper content, what if, his Queen desperately wants bio children of her own? Not just one. Maybe like, 4 with him. Originally was gonna shoot for like, 12 kids before she met him but understands that he has a limit.

His Queen has a big BIG momma bear streak as well and it breaks her heart when, with Vesper's mark, kids shy away from her out of uncomfortablness and she can't help but think, "Are my own children going to do the same?" She's always wanted at least 2 children of her own but upon learning about how concubi are around them, she's torn about if she should even try with Vesper and feels insecure about voicing what she wants because she's sure it would probably be countered with an immediate, "No." So she kind of slips into this funk, where engaging with rapture with him ends with a twist of deep despair because she knows that as much as she wishes for children of her own, she can't help but think it might be better to just give up that dream.

How would Vesper react to his Queen slipping into a depressive state upon that realization? Would he try to convince her that everything is fine as is? Would he try to speed up the process of turning his Queen into a Concubus so she wouldn't feel that desire anymore? Or maybe even try to actually conceive after learning about how she feels?

And then, let's say she does go through the transformation before having kids. She remembers her want for her own offspring and feels like a war is raging within her at almost all times. Her new instincts battling against her old dreams and desires. I feel like there would be times where she stares off into the distance, face twisted in disgust while tears drip from sorrowful eyes, and her hand clenched tightly against her stomach, nails digging in yet cupping herself tenderly.

I've never even told you if he'd be good as a father, the sex appeal must create some sort of mental warp wherein people genuinely think it would work out- In spite of everything. While it is true that demonlords of Lust have had kids before, these were mere transactions to acquire a direct heir who will grow up far away from them, which isn't something the most recent generations of Lust rulers are concerned with.

Can you do that? Can you separate yourself from your children after birth for that long? Do you fear they might resent you? It's risky business.

Vesper sits you down and he explains to you, at length, what a horrible idea having children would be. But please, there is no shame in having caring instincts. And, in his eyes, you should redirect that to the people around you. Take care of those within the mansion, take care of Lust residents in need (not just sexual need, of course), but please. For your own sake, don't try to establish contact with children.

Vesper is not about to sentence a potential child of his to a life of misery. He'd rather they not be born at all.

The Icon does tell you that your nature and your desires will change when your form does. That it will no longer be painful to exist childless, you will grow into a new age of your existence where that no longer weighs you down. Pain and sadness do not last forever, my Queen.

He will be there when it seems as if your own mind and body cannot come to an agreement, when your instincts fight, when you're torn inside out. It will fade.

A/N: It's the annual birthday fic! Thought I wasn't going to do it this year but I didn't want to drop this tradition, so here's a small fic. Real quick though, a lot has changed in the past few months to a year. I still have been writing but I've drifted to more original work so that's what's kept me busy. Plus I have my entire business that I'm trying to make into a viable career and I'm walking a dog now! I still go on here, mainly reading and brain dumping (is that what it's called?). I've been on a Rafe train so that's what the fic is about today! Here's to year 4 of the birthday fic!

You were searching for some lotion when you went into Rafe’s bathroom, looking through the drawers. 

The box of condoms piqued your interest at you, figuring you should take some so when he comes back you could have some fun. 

You grabbed a few, but your brows furrowed when you felt something odd about the packaging. Raising your arm and holding them toward the light, you could faintly see that there were holes poked in them. Even more confused, you searched through all of them, finding they were all the same.

Walking back into the room, Rafe had just returned from downstairs and he smirked when he saw what was in your hand.

“Rafe, why did you poke holes in the condoms?” you asked and his smile fell, eyes darkening. 

“You left me no choice,” he answered and you were partially taken back by his bluntness. “You know how badly I want to start a family with you, our future and you’re taking it away from me”.

“Make some sense, Rafe! Don’t you know I want the same thing?” you pressed a hand to your chest after you threw the condoms on the bed.

It was always the dream, but now that I’m with you, I know it can come true,” you grabbed his hands, smiling at him. “But I also wanted to have a degree, a bachelor's was just as important, so when there was no man in my life, I focused on that,” you shrugged. “I’m not gonna beg you to wait, I’m just going to ask that you do. I’m almost done, one more semester until I graduate, we’ll start planning our future then,” you reached for his lips and he happily kissed you back.

“I’ll wait, I guess I could be a little more patient,” he tucked a piece of hair behind your ear. “But the moment that you become Mrs. Cameron, I’m not gonna buy any more condoms, you can decide if you want nature to decide how many kids we have,” he pinched your chin. 

“That’s fair,” you smirked. “You can get me pregnant as many times as you want after we’re married”.

“Better get all the practice in now then,” he moved over you so your back was against the mattress and you happily welcomed his love and affection.

How to be Sexy

Finally! Baldwin was coming home today, and you couldn’t be more excited. He had been gone for almost a month, doing “family business,” whatever that was. But you had missed him dearly, especially at night. It was so lonely laying in bed with no one to cuddle with you. Sure, he hardly slept, but it was nice to at least know he was there, and he made you feel so protected.

He also was fantastic in bed. Centuries of experience helps with that. But what it doesn’t help with is your insecurities.

Which is why you are at a high-end lingerie store. It isn’t a place you would ever have gone to before you had started dating Baldwin. But the man had expensive tastes, and you wanted to surprise him. The question now, though, was how do you turn on a vampire?

You end up buying a very pricey, dark blue set, one with straps that the customer service rep guaranteed would “have your boyfriend ripping them off you.” By the time you get back home, you have approximately twenty minutes before Baldwin would be home.

Wasting no time, you rip the tags off and start pulling on the bottoms. But the straps that had looked like obvious leg holes wedges uncomfortably in the crease between your pussy and your thigh.

You are positive that that’s not where the strap was on the mannequin, so you pull your leg out and try a different hole. But that is even more awkward and uncomfortable. After a few more attempts, you pull up the store’s website on your phone, trying to look at the smiling model on screen and figure this damned piece of clothing out.

“Darling? Are you here?” Baldwin’s voice rings out in the house.

You try to stifle a frustrated sob, but with his vampiric hearing, he comes straight to you. “Don’t—” you start. But the door swings open, and there he stands.

You could only imagine what is going through his head; you had gotten the bra on, but there were straps everywhere, and your left arm was somehow cinched to your side. You look away in shame that he caught you like this; this man was the epitome of class and style, and here you are, an embarrassment.

Baldwin comes over to you and cups your cheek, tilting you to look at him. “What’s going on?”

You swallow your pride before answering, “I was…trying to be…sexy for you.”

He smiles softly. “Need help getting out of this?”

“No, no—I got it. I just…please leave.”

He looks at you for a moment before kissing your forehead and going out into the front room.

Having been thoroughly embarrassed, you start working to get out of this ridiculous contraption.

You come out of the room a little later, dressed in sweats and one of Baldwin’s jumpers. You tied your hair back out of your face and sit heavily on the couch with a “humph.”

“Now this,” he says, reaching out to grab you and pull you to his chest, “is fucking sexy.”

You huff and swat at his chest. “I’m not sexy. I’m a gremlin.”

But he chuckles at that. “Seeing you in my clothes,” he grips your chin, forcing you to look at him, “I love it. Besides—it’s you I find sexy, not whatever you’re wearing.”

“You—really think so?” you ask with big eyes.

And he doesn’t answer with words, instead kissing you slow and deep, making you feel how attracted he is to you.

🛠 Behobene Bugs

Wir haben einen Fehler im Eintragseditor behoben, der das Hochladen von mehreren nativen Videos im selben Eintrag und in Reblogs ermöglichte, was zu Fehlern und zum Verschwinden des Eintrags führen konnte.

Wir haben einen Fehler in den RSS-Feeds von Blogs behoben, der dazu führen konnte, dass für einzelne Elemente im Feed kein Titel angegeben werden konnte.

Im Web haben wir ein Problem behoben, das dazu führte, dass das Reblog-Symbol am unteren Rand von Einträgen um ein paar Pixel falsch ausgerichtet war.

Wir haben einen Fehler auf allen Plattformen behoben, der dazu führte, dass bei privat beantworteten Fragen in den Aktivitäten das Label "Mutuals" angezeigt wurde, obwohl du und der antwortende Blog keine Mutuals waren.

Wir haben einen Fehler im Web behoben, der verhinderte, dass "entfernte" Templates auf der Verwaltungsseite ihrer Ersteller:innen angezeigt wurden.

🚧 Baustelle

Es ist uns bekannt, dass Einträge fälschlicherweise mit dem Community-Label "Nicht jugendfrei" gekennzeichnet wurden und das Anfechtungsverfahren nicht erfolgreich war. Wir arbeiten daran, diese Probleme so schnell wie möglich zu beheben, damit das nicht noch mal passiert. Wir möchten uns dafür von Herzen entschuldigen. Es ist absolut nicht akzeptabel, dass in diesem Verfahren Fehler auftreten.

Ein Fehler in der Android-App sorgt dafür, dass sie abstürzt, wenn bestimmte Geschenke verdient werden. In der nächsten Version der App wird es dafür einen Fix geben.

Wir wissen, dass es in der Aktivitätsansicht der iOS-App einen Fehler gibt, der den Blognamen im Aktivitätstext dupliziert. Auch hier wird es in der nächsten Version einen Fix geben.

Das Experiment mit dem neuen Navigationslayout für die Desktopversion geht weiter. Wir sammeln weiterhin Feedback und nehmen daraufhin schrittweise Verbesserungen vor und beheben Fehler, auf die uns die User:innen hingewiesen haben.

Wir beheben auch Probleme, die uns im Zusammenhang mit der Neugestaltung der Direktnachrichten im Web gemeldet wurden.

Buddie Secret Relationship Conspiracy Manifesto

Hello. Welcome to possibly the most delusional buddie theory yet. This is a collaboration with @swiftiebuckleys, and as such I would like to cite our sources accordingly: dude, trust us.

Okay so I know a lot of people have talked about the theory of buddie possibly being in a secret relationship that is even a secret from the audience during season 6. For me, this started during 6A. It started because I was thinking about how 601 started with such a poignant and domestic Buckley-Diaz family scene that, as a part of a premier that was meant to establish where the characters are after four months of hiatus, told us Buck, Eddie and Christopher are living in each other's pockets as their own little family at the start of the season (I even wrote about this in this meta I posted while 6a was airing lmao).

But then for the rest of 6A there really wasn't any significant on-screen buddie or Buckley-Diaz moments, even though there was plenty that was implied at, including: Buck and Eddie planning to go to Marisol's house to help with repairs without the rest of the firefam, Buck and Chris hanging out so Chris potentially telling Buck the secret about skipping school even though he didn't tell Eddie, Buck and Eddie sitting in the back of the waiting room together separate from the rest of the firefam while they waited for news about Karen, and Eddie giving Hoover to Buck and convincing him to keep him even though his building doesn't allow dogs. What do all but one of these moments have in common? They're moments where Buck and Eddie were either alone or away from anyone who would know them from the rest of the gang and wouldn't feel the need to hide their relationship. When at work, Buck and Eddie had a reasonably normal amount of on-screen interactions, but it was only their moments happening outside of work that was pushed to the off-screen. (Bonus: one on-screen 6A moment that lives in my head rent-free and screams of secret relationship is that shot of them stepping into frame together and holding eye contact while the song lyrics in the bg go "I want your sex and your affection when I'm holding you close" in 609.)

However, while this^ is all well and good, it's 6B that really gives the secret relationship theory its wings.

Episode 10 gave us the lightning strike with a sequence that was shot almost entirely from the perspective of Eddie. While in the initial aftermath of the strike we see the shock on Hen, Chimney, and Bobby's faces, the scene is in slow-motion and muted until Eddie realizes what's going on and we watch every minute facial expression on his face as the horror dawns and he snaps into action. Eddie's reaction is what sparks everyone else's movement and then we see him completely forgo his own injuries and his own safety to save Buck. In the secret relationship trope, the near-death experience is a lot of the time what forces the couple to blow their cover and reveal their relationship. That didn't happen here as buddie were already close enough to warrant the strength of Eddie's reaction and Buck was unresponsive and there wasn't any time to lose. HOWEVER, episode 11 and the absence of a scene with Eddie alone at Buck's bedside can be explained by the fact that he couldn't be shone there or his bedside confessions would have given them away to the audience. As it is, other than Margaret and Maddie, Buck's mother and sister, he's the only one dressed in all black, his composure crumbling and unable to make eye contact with Buck's body in the hospital bed, the perfect picture of a grieving widow.

Episode 12 has the infamous couch scene which is meant to signal to the audience that Eddie is the couch Buck has been searching for, even if Buck himself doesn't know it. However, in the context of the secret relationship theory, what if the total lack of reaction from Eddie about Buck falling asleep on his couch is because they already know this?

Episode 13 has the infamous poker scene and this is where the theory actually diverges for a lot of people. Going with the original theory that buddie have been together since before 6A, this would explain Buck's lack of reaction to Eddie telling him to get dressed up and taking him out on what is essentially a date - he wasn't surprised or suspicious because it wasn't unusual. If you go back and watch the scene, you'll notice that it opens right when Buck and Eddie are approaching the door and about to be in the presence of other firefighters, but initially they're walking away from a dark alley while fixing their clothes - why would they need to fix their clothes unless they got messed up in the first place? Why wouldn't they show us the before or after of the poker scene, why only the parts where they're in the presence of other people from the department? Plus, Eddie really was looking TOO blatantly hungry in that entire scene, and he wasn't really hiding it from Buck - maybe because he's allowed, and expected, to look. This isn't even to mention the scenes of Buck, Eddie, and Christopher being a family, but I will go back to those later.

Where this episode splits this theory is the alternate potential for them to have gotten together after the poker game (my initial post after the episode first came out.) This would have been the perfect opportunity because there's really no way that if they weren't already together, the thought that this might be a date hadn't crossed Buck's mind (and, again, Eddie really did look too fucking horny in that scene it wasn't something you could ignore.) The next outside of work scene we see the Buckley-Diaz' in is the baking scene with Buck and Christopher. Eddie's location is completely unknown - he could be on shift, he could be running errands, he could be with Pepa - but the fact that Buck and Chris are together and baking for his class and planning dinner really drives home the fact that they are a family once again. However, the easy confidence of Buck parenting Christopher and the way he glowed with happiness in that moment would make even more sense if he had had his place in the Diaz family as Eddie's partner and Christopher's other parent confirmed to him.

One way to possibly combine the two theories is if we assume that Buck and Eddie were actually fwb throughout 6A (an idea given to me by @captainragtag) but actually got together after the poker scene. ANOTHER way is if we assume they've only been fwb, even after the poker scene. Them being fwb would potentially explain some holes in the theory, moments where they should have had a bigger reaction to something or known something beforehand if they were in a relationship (kind of the sperm donor arc and Eddie's reaction, but that could also be explained by Eddie's lack of reaction being because he already knew and was just pretending to be finding out for the first time with everyone else.)

Going into episode 14, all of these theories could explain the *gestures vaguely* everything about Eddie's storyline in the episode. If they're hiding a relationship, the absence of any mentions of Buck when talking about Eddie (and Christopher) being alone would make sense, especially after how pointedly the previous episode showed that Eddie is always spending his free time with Buck, with or without Christopher. It would also explain Buck's extremely unsubtle date-ruining advice - either they're together and Buck just doesn't want Eddie to go on the date because he doesn't want to share even to keep up pretenses, or they're fwb and Buck is jealous and afraid to lose Eddie and their relationship if Eddie starts actually dating. Also, considering how many pure fanfic tropes the writers have used before, it's safe to assume they have at least a baseline knowledge of how buddie are written by fans and what's the first trope every fanfic reader in this fandom learns about? Christopher's first and foremost wingman duty is to pack his stuff and go to a sleepover so his dads can do unholy things to each other. Christopher being at a sleepover when Pepa told Eddie to come over and him insisting that he was alone at home when just last episode we saw buddie spending all their time off shift together is just a little too sus if you ask me. Another secret relationship moment in the episode is Eddie going for the wrong gear shift in his own car. He initially reached for the gear shift on the center console when that's not where it is in his truck. But do you know where the gear shift is in a jeep? I'll give you one guess. Do we know anyone who owns a jeep? I'll give you another guess. This would make total sense since we know Eddie is a passenger princess and Buck would be driving them everywhere if they were in a relationship. Even when Buck isn't the one driving, Eddie would be much more likely to borrow his car more often if they were in a relationship and basically living together.

If this all doesn't convince you, I would like to leave you with the reminder of a moment that I'm sure has haunted all of us since 614 came out:

Actors are always aware when they're on camera and even if they aren't, the dozens of production people, including the director, would be. Do with that what you will.

edit: another thing to keep in mind as pointed out by the brilliant @swiftiebuckleys is the precedent set by 606 "Tomorrow" for flashbacks showing the start of a relationship.
