OVERTHINKER THOUGHTS AND SCRIBBLES
HAD SOME DIALOGUE TOO FOR A HYPOTHETICAL FIGHT [I'VE ONLY DONE TWO SCENES] WHICH I'LL PUT UNDER THIS CUT HERE [IT IS LONG]
Opening Cutscene
Distant chatter from Prethinker and the Desk Jockey’s can be heard as the camera slowly zooms out from a blackboard that says “Warning: The Following Instance is Not Canon.”
Prethinker can be seen with Professor Pete (Toontown Schoolhouse guy) tied up in a chair.
Prethinker: I do not appreciate you and the Toon resistance trying to put an end to my plans.
Consider this payback for making my life more difficult!
I’ll still be taking these freebie Desk Jockeys for personal use, since you won't be needing them anymore now that you’re here!
Now where was I…?
Ah yes, I remember now.
Prethinker walks over to the blackboard and rubs out whatever was written on it, starting to doodle something on the board.
You see, the plan is simple.
Prethinker takes out one of those pointer sticks and taps the blackboard with it, which has an illustration of Buck and Dave forming High Roller.
I’ve been studying the art of Cog-fusion. A fascinating phenomenon that was showcased by Mr. Ruffler and Mr. Brubot a year ago.
How they achieved such a thing is still beyond my grasp, however the potential of fusion is nothing to scoff at.
Prethinker draws a doodle of himself on the board next to a plus symbol and a question mark.
If we combine the right Suits together, we could achieve something truly unstoppable for those Toons!
That’s where you Brianbots come in.
You will find me the perfect candidates to experiment with! A willing Suit won't come to me on a silver platter you know?
A quack could be heard which causes Prethinker to perk up.
…What was that noise?
The quacks grow louder until Duck Shuffler crashes through the wall Kool-aid man style. He rushes through the Desk Jockeys, causing them to tumble over like dominos.
Duck Shuffler: FRHIRFIUHRIWHFR!!!
The Desk Jockeys blow up, making that one Deltarune explosion noise as Duck Shuffler gets up from the ground.
WOWIE! Thith theemth familiar!
Prethinker looks at him outraged, his brain turning red.
Prethinker: YOU! What are YOU doing here?
That stunt you just pulled involving plowing through the wall was against every single law of physics!
Duck Shuffler: Lawth are merely thuggethtionth methinkth.
Prethinker: They are not suggestions! A law is a set of rules that are created and are enforceable by social or governmental institutions to regulate beha- (Wikipedia definition for law: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law)
Duck Shuffler stands in front of Prethinker’s speech bubble.
Duck Shuffler: Geeth! Quit your yammerin’, you’re boring me here!
It’th not like you’re a goodie two thhoeth anywayth, what ya did to me was thhurely againtht the law!
Prethinker: We do not talk about that, Ruffler.
Duck Shuffler: Oh yeah, whaddya gonna do about it?
Duck Shuffler steps in close, looking down at the Prethinker.
The Prethinker shoves Duck Shuffler, making him stumble a little.
The Duck Shuffler shoves him back which causes them to keep hitting each other until they get into a cartoony fight ball.
The two of them collide with the wall where the blackboard is, causing a giant explosion and a flash of light. A distant metal pipe noise could be heard.
The smoke from the explosion clears up as it reveals Overthinker.
Overthinker: WHERE- WHERE AM I?
{You dolt! What did you do now-}
The Toons finally intervene as they approach the Overthinker.
T-{T-} T-TOONPH!!!
{Hm, thiph could me phalvaged-}
YOU THERE!!! YOU COULD {Did I jupht liphp-?} HELP ME OUT HERE! HELP ME! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
The room seems to start getting cloaked in a purple hue as weird smoke starts to form from Overthinker’s chemical explosion.
[Phase 1 of the battle starts.]
Second Cutscene
Overthinker: YYYYEOWCH!!!!
Overthinker reels back from whatever the last attack used on him was.
You guyph really pack a punch! What’ph the d-d-deal with THAT???
I’m feeling- I’M FEELING, {phick} YOU’RE- You’ve knocked the BRAINPH OUTTA ME!!!
Overthinker starts to shake uncontrollably.
THIPH EXPERIMENT WAPH A- WAPH A- {Failure!} FAILURE!!!!!!! I’M A FAILURE!!!!!!!!!
There’s a big explosion as Overthinker unfuses into Duck Shuffler and Prethinker again. The camera pans down to see the both of them in the Yamcha and Family guy death pose respectively.
The two of them get up from the ground.
Prethinker: Grr! Buck, this is all your fault! We could’ve beat them if you didn’t keep mixing unfamiliar chemicals together!
Duck Shuffler: Aww! But that wouldn’t be tho fun-
Prethinker: This isn’t about fun! This is about winning! You like winning don’t you?
The Toons take a step closer to the two of them
Duck Shuffler: Aww, ratth! We forgot about them-
Prethinker: Fret not- I have this covered.
Prethinker snaps his fingers as he summons a few Desk Jockeys to cover for them.
Prethinker: This won't hold them back for long, but we have to cooperate here-
Duck Shuffler: Oh tho now you wanna work together, huh?
Prethinker: This isn’t the time for snide remarks, you know all about this fusion thing, right? Just do what you do with Brubot or something!
Duck Shuffler: I only mingle well with Dave becauthe he doeth hith part.
You gotta do your part too, pal! Tho let me lead next time!
Prethinker: …Hmph! Fine. I’ll do as you say, but only so we can win!
Duck Shuffler picks Prethinker up and hoists him onto his shoulders.
Duck Shuffler: HAHA! Then let’th get thith thhow in the road!
[Phase 2 of the battle starts, the Toons fighting the Desk Jockeys and Duck Shuffler and Prethinker separated.]

Melodies of Seduction | Ch. 5
Tumblr media
❀ summary: With platinum albums and millions of adoring fans, Yeon-jin thought she knew exactly where her music career was headed. But when her manager drops an unexpected bombshell—BTS' golden maknae Jungkook wants to collaborate on an R&B album—her carefully planned world spins into beautiful chaos.
Between late-night recording sessions, stolen glances across the studio, and harmonies that seem to sync with more than just their voices, Yeon-jin finds herself composing a different kind of song altogether. One that could either launch her to new heights of stardom or leave her heart in free fall.
The question is: in an industry where every move is scrutinized and romance is taboo, can two of K-pop's brightest stars risk it all for a love that wasn't part of the production plan?

Chapter 5: Breaking Point
Yeon-jin found herself unconsciously smoothing the sleeve of her cream cashmere sweater, a nervous habit she thought she'd outgrown years ago. The preview session had been scheduled for 9 AM sharp, but she'd arrived an hour early, needing the quiet to center herself before what she knew would be a pivotal moment in her career.
Eight weeks of recording had produced six nearly complete songs, each one a carefully crafted fusion of their distinct styles. The studio had become a second home, filled with takeout containers from late-night sessions, scattered musical notations, and the lingering energy of breakthrough moments. They'd pushed themselves beyond their comfort zones, experimenting with harmonies that dove deeper than either of them had dared before.
Jungkook arrived at 8:30, dressed in a simple black buttondown and fitted slacks that somehow made him look both professional and rebellious. His hair was slightly disheveled, telling her he'd probably been up all night tweaking arrangements. Their eyes met across the room, and a small smile passed between them – the kind of wordless communication they'd developed over their intense collaboration.
"Did you sleep at all?" she asked as he slipped into the chair beside her, the scent of his cologne – something woody and expensive – mixing with the coffee he set down.
"Maybe an hour." He ran a hand through his hair, making it even messier. "I couldn't stop thinking about the bridge in 'Best Part' I made some adjustments to the vocal arrangement around three AM."
"Show me," she said, already reaching for her tablet. Their shoulders touched as they leaned over the device together, his finger tracing the new harmony line he'd added. The change was subtle but brilliant, adding an emotional depth that had been just out of reach before.
"It's perfect," she breathed, and his answering smile made her heart skip in a way she wasn't ready to examine too closely.
The room began to fill with executives and producers, each carrying identical leather portfolios and expressions of careful neutrality. Yeon-jin recognized most of them – she'd been in the industry long enough to know all the major players. There was Kim Sung-ho, head of A&R, whose approval could make or break careers. Beside him, Park Min-jung, marketing director, already typing rapidly on her phone. In the corner, Lee Jae-wook, BigHit's senior producer, who'd been instrumental in shaping K-pop's sound for the past decade.
Na Ra slipped in just before nine, taking her usual position slightly behind Yeon-jin's chair. Her manager's presence was reassuring – they'd weathered countless meetings like this together over the years. But something felt different today. The stakes were higher, the tension more palpable.
"Shall we begin?" Kim Sung-ho's voice cut through the quiet murmur of conversation. He nodded to the sound engineer, who began queuing up their tracks.
The first notes of "Midnight in Seoul" filled the room, the haunting piano intro Yeon-jin had composed giving way to Jungkook's rich baritone. They'd recorded this one first, when they were still finding their collaborative rhythm. His voice wrapped around the Korean verses while she provided ethereal harmonies, until the chorus brought them together in a blend that still gave her chills.
She watched the executives' faces carefully, years of experience helping her read the subtle signs. The slight tightening around Sung-ho's eyes. The way Min-jung's fingers stilled on her phone. The almost imperceptible shake of Jae-wook's head.
The final notes faded, leaving the room in heavy silence. Yeon-jin could hear her own heartbeat, too loud in her ears. She'd been in this industry for fifteen years, had faced countless criticism and feedback sessions, but something about this moment felt different. Perhaps because she'd never cared quite this much before.
"It's very... artistic," Kim Sung-ho said finally, his tone carefully diplomatic. The word 'artistic' hung in the air like an accusation. "But we need to think about commercial appeal. The market expectations for a project of this scale—"
"The market doesn't know what it wants until we show them," Jungkook interrupted, his usually respectful demeanor showing cracks. There was a collective intake of breath around the table – interrupting a senior executive was practically unheard of. "This is exactly the kind of music we should be making."
"Jungkook-ssi," Park Min-jung began, her marketing director's smile firmly in place, "your position as a global artist carries certain responsibilities. We need to consider—"
"What about artistic responsibility?" Yeon-jin found herself speaking up, surprising everyone, including herself. The words seemed to come from somewhere deep inside, where she'd buried years of compromise and careful compliance. "We're not just making products. We're creating something meaningful."
The room fell silent. She could feel Na Ra's shock radiating from behind her. Yeon-jin had never directly challenged company decisions like this. She'd always been the professional one, the reliable one, the one who understood the business side of music.
"Perhaps we should take a short break," Lee Jae-wook suggested, his tone making it clear this wasn't really a suggestion. The room quickly emptied, leaving Yeon-jin and Jungkook alone with their producers and Na Ra.
The silence stretched between them, heavy with unspoken words. Through the windows, Seoul's skyline shimmered in the late morning sun, the city carrying on its usual rhythm while their artistic world threatened to implode.
"They want us to change everything," one of their producers, Min-ho, said quietly. He'd been with them through every session, understanding their vision from the start. "Make it more... accessible."
"You mean make it generic," Jungkook responded, his frustration evident in every word. "Strip away everything that makes it unique."
Yeon-jin stood, needing to move, to think. The executives' suggestions ran through her mind: "More commercial." "Less experimental." "Simplify the harmonies." "Add more English lyrics." "Make it trending-friendly." Each requirement felt like a betrayal of what they'd created.
She caught Jungkook watching her, his dark eyes intense. They'd spent countless hours together over the past two months, learning each other's musical instincts, building something that transcended their individual styles. The thought of compromising that vision made her physically ill.
When the executives returned, their requirements were laid out in careful, corporate language. They wanted substantial changes to at least four of the six tracks. "Best Part" would need to be completely reworked, its complex harmonies simplified, its lyrics made more "accessible" to a global audience.
Yeon-jin watched Jungkook's jaw clench during the meeting, noting how his hands gripped the armrests of his chair. She could feel the tension radiating from him, the careful control he was maintaining. His reputation for professionalism was legendary, but she could see the cracks forming.
The meeting ended with polite bows and careful promises to "consider all feedback." As soon as the last executive left, Jungkook was on his feet, energy crackling around him like electricity before a storm.
"Studio," he said simply, and Yeon-jin nodded, following him to the elevator. Na Ra trailed behind them, her heels clicking against the marble floors, her silence speaking volumes about her concern.
The familiar space of Yeon-jin's studio should have been calming, but today it felt charged with potential energy. Afternoon sun streamed through the windows, catching the dust motes in the air and casting Jungkook's shadow long across the floor as he paced. The walls, covered in acoustic panels and carefully chosen artwork, had witnessed countless creative breakthroughs. Now they seemed to hold their breath, waiting.
"This isn't why I wanted to work with you," he said finally, stopping at the window. The city sprawled below them, a maze of buildings and dreams and compromises. "I wanted to make something real. Something that honored both our musical journeys."
She caught his hand as he passed her again, stopping his restless movement. The contact was bold and unexpected. His skin was warm against hers, and she felt him freeze at the touch. During their time working together, they'd maintained a careful physical distance, despite the emotional intimacy of their music.
"Then let's make something real," she said, surprising herself with the conviction in her voice.
He turned to face her, their hands still connected. "They won't support it."
"Since when has that stopped either of us?" She smiled, remembering all the times she'd pushed boundaries in her career, all the small rebellions that had led to her biggest breakthroughs. "You were the one who told me to trust the music."
His expression softened, and he squeezed her hand gently before letting go. "You remember that?"
"I remember everything about these sessions." The admission slipped out before she could stop it, hanging in the air between them. The late-night conversations about music and life. The way he brought her favorite coffee without being asked. The moment their voices first blended perfectly in harmony, creating something greater than either of them alone.
For a moment, neither of them spoke. The studio felt smaller somehow, more intimate. Outside, Seoul continued its endless rhythm, but in here, time seemed to pause. The air between them felt charged with possibility and something else – something they'd both been carefully avoiding acknowledging.
"We could release it independently," Jungkook said suddenly, energy returning to his voice.
"That would be career suicide," Na Ra's voice cut through the moment. Neither of them had heard her enter. She stood in the doorway, her expression a mixture of concern and resignation. "The companies would never allow it."
"They might," Yeon-jin said slowly, an idea forming. She moved to her computer, pulling up their rough mix of "Best Part." The track that most perfectly blended their styles, their voices dancing between Korean and English.
As the music filled the studio, she remembered recording this one. It had been late, most of the building empty. They'd ordered chicken and beer. Something about the night had felt magical – every take better than the last, their creative energy feeding off each other until they'd created something extraordinary.
"We leak it," she said, turning to face them. "Just this one song. No announcement, no promotion. Let the music speak for itself."
"That's extremely risky," Na Ra warned, but Yeon-jin could see the consideration in her manager's eyes. After all these years, Na Ra knew when her artist was right about music. She'd been there through every triumph and setback, understanding that sometimes the biggest risks led to the greatest rewards.
"Everything worth doing is risky," Jungkook said, moving to stand beside Yeon-jin. The warmth of his presence steadied her, as it had so many times during their recording sessions. "But if anyone can pull this off, it's us."
They worked through the night, perfecting every detail of "Best Part." The familiar routine of studio work took on new meaning, each decision weighted with the knowledge of what they were about to do. They adjusted levels, tweaked effects, refined every harmony until it shone.
Yeon-jin found herself watching Jungkook as he recorded one final harmony line, his face illuminated by the soft studio lights. He'd shed his formal clothes hours ago, now wearing just a black t-shirt and jeans, looking younger and somehow more himself. His dedication to perfection matched her own, each of them pushing the other to be better.
Na Ra ordered food around midnight, then again at 3 AM, keeping them fueled as they worked. She made calls, prepared statements, laid groundwork for damage control. Her efficiency was both impressive and slightly terrifying – a reminder of just how much was at stake.
As dawn broke over Seoul, casting the studio in soft pink light, they had something that was entirely, uniquely theirs. No compromises, no commercial considerations—just pure artistic truth. The final mix of "Best Part" played through the speakers, their voices weaving together in perfect harmony, tradition and innovation becoming one.
The song told their story without telling it – the unexpected connection, the creative spark, the way two distinct paths could converge to create something new.
"Once we do this, there's no going back," Yeon-jin said as they listened to the final mix one last time. The morning light caught the silver in her hair – she'd stopped dyeing it completely black a few years ago, another small act of defiance against industry standards.
Jungkook took her hand again, this time with purpose. His fingers were slightly callused from guitar playing, warm against her skin. "I don't want to go back. Forward is the only way."
Na Ra watched them from the doorway, her expression unreadable. She'd seen Yeon-jin through countless career decisions, but nothing quite like this. "I'll start preparing damage control. You two just... be ready for what comes next."
The city was waking up outside, the first hints of morning traffic beginning to build. Soon, the business of music would resume – contracts and expectations, markets and trends.
The sun rose fully over Seoul, marking the beginning of a new day and a new chapter in both their careers. Their song played one final time through the studio speakers, a declaration of artistic independence and something more – something neither of them was quite ready to name, but both could feel in the spaces between the notes.
They had created something beautiful, something true. Now it was time to share it with the world, consequences be damned.
Na Ra's heels clicked against the floor as she returned, phone in hand. "If we're really doing this, the file needs to be ready in an hour. The morning news cycle is about to begin."

i feel extremely emotional about grand fest and the conclusion to regular splatfests just like i felt when final fest happened so many years ago
Grand fest for me is an embodiment of my feelings upon being a teen growing into an adult. Im gonna blabber about how each game made me feel while listening to three wishes because MAN that song hits me in the gut with strong feelings. this is going to get very abstract/artistic
-----
Splatoon 1 embodies a young view of the world on the horizon with which we have yet to experience. We're still so small and there's a lot ahead of us but we don't forget where we come from when we look back. Splatoon also represents the start of a fair, beautiful day, still plenty of daylight left for us to explore what's in front of us. It's colored pastel pinks and greens with cherry blossoms riding in on a pleasant breeze.
Splatoon 2 embodies an awkward phase but you're beginning to unravel the threads of curiosity of yourself and those close to you. You may fall deeply in love or face searing pain but that journey is what's key. The feelings we have intermingle and create beautiful new colors of neon blues/greens and pinks even if they aren't perfect. We have our own styles and sense that make us who we are as life speeds up. Splatoon 2 represents the chilly life of the night that spans so wonderfully far with a hint of inherent danger that we are willing to risk just to live and love. Boundaries fall away, allowing us to fold into a fusion of 2. Cold and hot meet in an explosive beam full of pure adulation.
Splatoon 3 embodies the dawn of a new day, transitioning into something more recognizable that is distinctly us. It holds all things important, our origin that anchors a path leading straight into the future. It's never clear what the future holds for us but it is blazingly hot, biting at us with adventurous grandeur full of our collective hopes and dreams. We have walked, climbed, and fought our way to a life made by us and only us. Distinct spirals of life flow into one as we show off who we are and what we represent.

Academic Duels

Synopsis: In the halls of Daewon High School, you academic rivalry, born of contrasting styles, laid the groundwork for an unexpected connection. A tale of competition, shared recognition, and evolving relationship.
A/n: Academic Rivalry,some playful banter,Bada being kind,is a bit rushed

Tumblr media
The story of the academic rivalry between you and Bada could be traced back to the halls of Daewon High School, a prestigious institution in the bustling heart of Seoul. Both of you were prodigies in your own right, emerging as academic stars in a sea of bright minds. The competitive spirit that simmered beneath the surface of your scholarly pursuits had its roots in the early days of your high school journey.
As freshmen, you and Bada were already making waves with your exceptional performances. The teachers couldn't help but marvel at the intellectual prowess displayed by two students who seemed destined for greatness.
Your backstory was one of humble beginnings. Born into a middle-class family, you had always viewed education as the key to transcending societal limitations. The determination to succeed and prove your worth had been instilled in you by your parents, who worked tirelessly to provide you with the opportunities they never had.
Bada, on the other hand, hailed from a family with a long lineage of scholars and intellectuals. The pressure to uphold the family legacy weighed heavily on her shoulders. Her parents, both accomplished academics, had set a high bar for success, and Bada was determined to not only meet but exceed those expectations.
The first encounter that set the stage for your academic rivalry occurred in the freshman year English class. The teacher, recognizing the exceptional talent in both of you, assigned a collaborative project that would serve as a precursor to the competition that would unfold over the years.
As fate would have it, you and Bada were paired together for the project. Initially, it seemed like a harmonious partnership, with the shared goal of producing a stellar presentation. However, as the days progressed, the differences in your approaches became apparent.
You, driven by a passion for the subject and a desire to delve deep into the material, took a creative and holistic approach to the project. Bada, with her meticulous and analytical mindset, preferred a structured and methodical strategy. The clash of these contrasting methodologies resulted in a project that was neither a seamless fusion of ideas nor a harmonious collaboration.
When the teacher evaluated the project, the feedback was mixed. The creativity and depth of your insights were praised, but the lack of structure and organization drew criticism. Bada, on the other hand, received commendation for the precision and clarity of her contributions but was urged to consider incorporating a more creative element.
The experience left both of you with a sense of dissatisfaction. For you, it was the first taste of a less-than-perfect performance, while for Bada, it was an unaccustomed brush with constructive criticism. The dynamic had shifted, and an unspoken challenge lingered in the air.
The following years witnessed an escalation of the rivalry. Each exam, project, or presentation became a battleground where you and Bada sought not just to excel but to outshine each other. The competition fueled an unrelenting pursuit of excellence that saw both of you consistently topping the class.
In the crucible of academic fervor, the rivalry extended beyond the classroom. Extracurricular activities, leadership positions, and even accolades from teachers became markers of success to be fiercely contested. The once-harmonious atmosphere of Daewon High School now crackled with the electric energy of a rivalry that had transcended the ordinary.
The competitive spirit, while driving you and Bada to extraordinary heights, also exacted a toll on your personal lives. Friendships were strained as the pursuit of academic superiority overshadowed other aspects of high school life. The unspoken tension in the hallways, the pointed glances exchanged during class discussions, and the occasional clashes in student council meetings became defining features of your high school experience.
The teachers, observing the intensity of the rivalry, attempted to channel it into positive avenues. You and Bada were often chosen to represent the school in academic competitions, debates, and quiz bowls. While these opportunities provided a platform to showcase your talents on a broader stage, they also heightened the stakes of the rivalry.
Despite the competitive undercurrent, there were moments of shared recognition. The mutual acknowledgment of each other's brilliance, even if begrudgingly given, fostered a strange camaraderie. You both knew that the rivalry, while fierce, was also a source of mutual growth and intellectual stimulation.
"You did well in the debate today," you acknowledged, unable to completely conceal the admiration in your voice.
Bada responded with a slight nod. "Your points were impressive too. It's always a challenge keeping up with your unpredictability."
The recognition, however, did little to assuage the burning desire for supremacy. The rivalry continued to drive both of you to push the boundaries of academic achievement.
The banter and debates during those high school years had a different flavor. In the classrooms of Daewon High School, where the echoes of spirited discussions reverberated, the story of you and Bada unfolded amidst playful taunts and competitive banter.
"Looks like you narrowly escaped defeat in today's quiz," Bada teased, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
You shot back, "Narrowly? I call it strategic brilliance. Keeps you on your toes, doesn't it?"
The teachers, familiar with the dynamics between you two, often found themselves caught in the crossfire of banter.
"Ah, the intellectual sparring continues. I'm beginning to think I should assign you both to opposing debate teams," Mr. Kang, your history teacher, remarked with a chuckle.
Bada replied, "We'd welcome the challenge, wouldn't we? It might make things more interesting."
The banter extended beyond the academic realm. During student council meetings, where both of you held prominent positions, the discussions often took on a competitive edge.
"I propose we implement a mentorship program," you suggested, eyeing Bada with a challenge in your gaze.
Bada responded, "While mentorship is valuable, let's not forget the importance of independent learning. We don't want to coddle our fellow students."
The debates, while spirited, were always underlined by a mutual respect. The rivalry, though palpable, was a driving force that propelled both of you to strive for excellence.
Amidst the playful banter, there were moments of genuine collaboration. The fusion of your creative approach and Bada's analytical mindset occasionally resulted in projects that showcased the power of your combined intellects.
One such project, where you both collaborated on a research paper exploring the intersection of literature and science, garnered praise from your professors. The recognition, albeit shared, did little to quell the ongoing rivalry.
— — — — —
The hallways of Seoul National University echoed with the hurried footsteps of students rushing to their next classes. Among them were you and Bada, academic rivals whose competitive spirits fueled a perpetual race for excellence.
In the realm of academics, you and Bada were often neck-and-neck. Your prowess in the sciences matched her linguistic finesse, and each test became a battleground where victory was never guaranteed. The atmosphere between you two was always charged with unspoken competition, and your grades were the scoreboard that determined the winner.
Today was no different. The air buzzed with anticipation as the university prepared to release the results of the latest round of exams. The stakes were high, and both of you knew that this could be the moment that tilted the scales in one direction.
The backstory of this rivalry traced back to your first year at the university. Both you and Bada were standout students in your respective high schools, used to being at the top of your class. When you found yourselves in the same university, it was inevitable that your paths would cross.
The competition began innocently enough, with friendly banter and subtle attempts to outshine each other. However, as the semesters progressed, the rivalry intensified. Your accomplishments became the measuring stick for Bada, and vice versa. The stakes were not just about grades; they were about asserting dominance and proving who was truly the best.
As you entered the lecture hall where the test results were to be announced, a knot of nerves twisted in your stomach. The room was abuzz with whispers, and the tension was palpable. Bada, with her customary stoic expression, sat a few seats away from you. The unspoken challenge hung in the air like an electric current.
The professor walked in, holding a stack of graded papers. The room fell into a hushed silence as he prepared to distribute the tests. The moment of truth had arrived.
One by one, the professor called out names and handed back the exams. The tension in the room escalated with each passing moment. As your name was called, you reached out to grab your test, trying to hide the tremble in your hands. You quickly scanned the pages, relief washing over you as you saw the coveted "100%" at the top.
A triumphant smile crept across your face as you turned to glance at Bada. "What did you get?" you asked curiously, a mix of excitement and anticipation in your voice.
Bada's expression remained impassive as she received her test. She glanced at the pages and replied, "99%," her tone cold and unaffected.
A surge of exhilaration coursed through your veins. For the first time, it seemed victory was firmly in your grasp. "Well, looks like I finally got the upper hand this time," you said, unable to conceal the wide grin that spread across your face.
Bada met your gaze with a steady look, her poker face betraying no emotion. "Congratulations," she replied simply, her voice devoid of any hint of rivalry.
You couldn't resist the urge to boast. "I guess I've broken the cycle. Maybe this is the beginning of a winning streak," you declared, reveling in the momentary triumph.
As the news of your perfect score spread through the lecture hall, whispers of congratulations and admiration filled the air. Friends patted you on the back, and the sense of accomplishment lifted your spirits.
However little did you know the true nature of Bada's response. While she maintained her cool facade, there was a subtle glint of satisfaction in her eyes. What you didn't realize was that she had intentionally missed one question, not out of negligence, but as a calculated move. Bada had liked you for a long time, and this small act was her way of creating a moment of joy for you.
As you continued to bask in the glory of your achievement, Bada sat there, seemingly indifferent to the numbers on her paper. In reality, her heart carried a secret that she had guarded for far too long. The satisfaction in her eyes was not just about letting you win this round; it was about creating a moment that would make you smile, blissfully unaware of her feelings.
The rivalry between you and Bada had always been more than academics. Beneath the competitive banter and shared challenges, a connection had quietly blossomed. Bada had admired you for your dedication, your passion, and the genuine kindness that you extended to everyone around you. It wasn't just about being the best academically; it was about being the kind of person that made her heart skip a beat.
The backstory to this unexpected gesture traced back to a moment of vulnerability. Bada, with her sharp intellect and disciplined approach to academics, had always been perceived as an unyielding force. However, beneath the exterior of stoicism lay a desire for connection and understanding.
One day, as you were preparing for a particularly challenging exam, Bada caught a glimpse of the stress that clouded your usually confident demeanor. Instead of seizing the opportunity to press her advantage, she recognized the humanity in your struggle. It was then that she made a silent pact with herself – to occasionally let you taste the sweetness of victory, even if it meant deliberately missing a question.
In the weeks that followed, as you continued to revel in your newfound success, Bada observed from the sidelines. She saw how your confidence blossomed, how the taste of victory spurred you to even greater heights. And in those moments, she found a peculiar satisfaction – the satisfaction of seeing you smile, even if it was at the cost of a single percentage point.
The days turned into weeks, and the routine of academic rivalry persisted. However, an unspoken understanding had developed between you and Bada. She continued to be the formidable competitor, pushing you to excel, but every now and then, a subtle gesture hinted at a connection that transcended grades and competition.
In the midst of this dynamic, a friendship, unacknowledged and yet quietly thriving, began to take root. The rivalry that had once been fueled by a desire for supremacy now carried the weight of shared victories and unspoken gestures of camaraderie.
As the semester progressed, the academic challenges continued, but the relationship between you and Bada took on a new dimension. The hallways that were once silent witnesses to whispered rivalries now echoed with the occasional laughter and shared insights.
The library, with its hushed whispers and the scent of old books, became an unlikely setting for the next chapter in your evolving connection with Bada. As you both immersed yourselves in your studies, the atmosphere was charged with an unspoken camaraderie that had gradually replaced the intense rivalry of your earlier encounters.
One day, as you were engrossed in your textbooks and notes, Bada looked up from her own stack of books. "Do you want to grab a coffee after this?" she asked, her tone casual but carrying a warmth that transcended the usual competitiveness.
The invitation caught you by surprise, but the genuine sincerity in her eyes made it impossible to decline. "Sure, I'd love that," you replied, offering a genuine smile and a light blush. The idea of sharing a coffee, something that had started as a casual outing, had now become a symbol of the connection you were building.
As you both ventured into the campus café, the familiar aroma of coffee beans enveloped you. The atmosphere was light, free from the usual undercurrents of rivalry that had defined your interactions. The conversation flowed effortlessly, weaving through topics beyond the confines of academia.
"I never knew you were into literature," you remarked, genuinely intrigued by this new side of Bada.
She chuckled, her eyes lighting up with enthusiasm. "Yeah, I've always loved getting lost in a good book. There's something magical about the way words can transport you to different worlds."
The exchange of personal interests continued, revealing shared passions for travel and a mutual appreciation for the intricacies of the Korean language. The coffee outings became a regular occurrence, each one peeling away another layer of the barriers that had once defined your relationship.
As weeks turned into months, the initial wariness between you and Bada melted away, paving the way for a genuine connection. The unspoken pact, where occasional victories were traded for moments of acknowledgment, remained intact.
One afternoon, as you sat in your usual corner of the café, sipping coffee and sharing laughs, Bada seemed a bit more reserved than usual. The air carried a subtle tension, and you couldn't help but notice the thoughtful glances she occasionally directed your way.
"You seem a bit quiet today," you observed, your tone gentle. "Everything okay?"
Bada took a deep breath, as if gathering her courage. "Yeah, everything's fine. Actually, there's something I've been wanting to talk to you about."
The shift in her demeanor caught your attention. "Sure, go ahead. We're friends, right?"
A hint of relief but quick sadness flickered in Bada's eyes. "Yeah, friends," she affirmed, her gaze meeting yours. "I wanted to say... I that I really love our time together, and I don't want to mess it up, but I need to be honest with you."
Curiosity tinged with a touch of concern filled your expression. "Of course, Bada. You can be honest with me."
Taking another deep breath, she confessed, "I've liked you for a long time now. More than just as a study partner or a friend. I wasn't sure if I should say anything, but I didn't want to keep it from you."
Surprise registered on your face as you absorbed her words. Bada, the once stoic academic rival, had just revealed a vulnerability that spoke volumes. The café, with its low hum of background chatter, seemed to quiet down as you processed her confession.
The pause lingered for a moment, tension hanging in the air. Then, unexpectedly, you found yourself smiling. "Bada, I appreciate your honesty. I didn't see this coming, but I have to admit, I've liked you too."
Her eyes widened in genuine surprise. "You do?"
"Yeah," you chuckled, the weight of the unspoken tension lifting. "I guess our connection goes beyond just acing exams and grabbing coffee. I like you, Bada, more than I thought."
Relief washed over her, and a genuine smile graced her lips. "I was worried I might mess things up between us."
You reached across the table, gently taking her hand. "Bada, our connection is stronger than that. I'm glad you told me. Let's see where this takes us, without the pressures of academic rivalry."
From that moment, the dynamics of your relationship with Bada shifted once again. The coffee outings, once symbols of friendly competition, now became a canvas for the blossoming romance. The barriers had crumbled, revealing a connection that transcended the expectations of academia.
As the days turned into nights, you and Bada navigated this new chapter with a shared understanding. The unspoken pact, built on the foundation of occasional victories and heartfelt acknowledgments, had paved the way for a love story that had quietly unfolded beneath the surface of academic competition.
— — — — — —
The test results, once a source of tension, became a mere formality in the journey of your academic and personal growth. The rivalry that had once defined your interactions now stood as a testament to the transformative power of unexpected connections.
One day, as you and Bada sat in the same lecture hall where the initial rivalry had taken root, the professor announced another round of test results. The atmosphere, once thick with tension, now held an air of camaraderie.
As the professor called out names and distributed the exams, you and Bada exchanged knowing glances. The competitive spirit remained, but it was no longer fueled by a desire for supremacy. It was a shared journey of growth, each victory and defeat a stepping stone in the evolution of your friendship.
When you received your test, you scanned the pages, your heart pounding with anticipation. The familiar "100%" greeted you, and you couldn't help but smile. Turning to Bada, you asked, "What did you get?" Curiosity and genuine interest colored your words.
Bada, maintaining her composed demeanor, replied, "99%," with a hint of a smile playing on her lips.
The realization hit you – this was not a defeat but a continuation of the unspoken pact. You smiled widely, not as a display of triumph, but as an acknowledgment of the shared journey you and Bada had undertaken.
"I guess we're maintaining the balance," you said, your voice filled with a newfound understanding.
Bada nodded, the glint of satisfaction in her eyes mirroring your own. The professor, unaware of the intricacies of your connection, continued with the announcements, and the hall filled with a sense of collective achievement.
As you and Bada walked out of the lecture hall, the sun casting a warm glow over the campus, the unspoken pact between you two lingered in the air. The rivalry had evolved into a friendship, a connection that defied the expectations of competitiveness.
In the heart of Seoul National University, where the halls echoed with the pursuit of knowledge, the story of you and Bada became a testament to the transformative power of unexpected connections. The rivalry that once fueled the academic landscape now stood as a symbol of growth, shared victories, and the enduring bonds that emerged from the unlikeliest of beginnings.
Now, with the acknowledgment of your mutual feelings, the dynamics between you and Bada shifted once again.
The exchange of glances had become laden with unspoken meanings, and every shared moment held a layer of intimacy that went beyond friendship. The sunsets over the campus felt warmer, and the laughter shared in the cafés echoed with the resonance of newfound affection.
One evening, as you both strolled through the campus, Bada couldn't resist a playful jab at your once intense rivalry. "Remember when you used to boast about being the smartest one in class?" she teased, nudging you lightly.
You chuckled, playing along. "Ah, those were the days when I had to remind you who the real brainiac was."
Bada raised an eyebrow, her eyes glinting with mischief. "Brainiac? Please, I seem to recall someone struggling to keep up with my brilliance."
You feigned offense, a playful glint in your eyes. "Oh, please. Your brilliance couldn't even match my wit."
The banter continued, each remark carrying the weight of shared history and a newfound camaraderie. As you both reached a quiet spot under a tree, the playfulness took a surprising turn. Bada, with a mischievous glint in her eyes, suddenly lunged at you, causing you to stumble backward.
Laughter echoed through the campus as Bada pinned you down playfully, her eyes sparkling with a mixture of challenge and affection. "Who's the brainiac now?" she teased, a playful grin on her face.
You couldn't help but grin back, the rush of the unexpected moment adding a layer of excitement to the playful banter. "Alright, you got me this time. But let's see who emerges victorious in our next academic duel."
Bada leaned in, her breath mingling with yours. "Oh, I'm looking forward to it. But for now, let's enjoy this little victory, shall we?"
As the playful banter lingered under the shade of the tree, Bada's eyes held a warmth that transcended the teasing. The laughter, the shared history, and the unexpected twists in your connection had brought you both to this moment.
Bada, still playfully pinning you down, leaned in with a gentle smile. "You know," she whispered, "sometimes the best victories are the ones we least expect."
A grin played on your lips as you replied, "I couldn't agree more."
In that suspended moment, the air between you and Bada crackled with anticipation. The playful rivalry had seamlessly transformed into a shared understanding, and the lines between competition and connection had blurred.
Without another word, Bada closed the distance, and your lips met in a tender kiss. The world around you seemed to fade, leaving only the soft rustle of leaves and the warmth of the embrace. The kiss, a culmination of unspoken feelings and the journey from rivals to something more, spoke volumes.
When you finally pulled away, a shared smile lingered between you. The playful banter, the academic duels, and the unexpected connection had led you to this moment, where the heartbeats echoed a new chapter in your evolving story.
In the heart of Seoul National University, where academic excellence met the uncharted territories of playful romance, the story of you and Bada continued to unfold. The once fierce academic rivals had discovered a bond that went beyond the confines of competition, and every banter-filled moment added a layer to the narrative of your evolving connection.

The Secret Salon
The Late 19th Century: A Time of Change in Art and Culture
The late 19th century was marked by profound cultural, technological, and societal changes. While movements like Historicism, Academicism, and Symbolism dominated the art world, a hidden subculture of LGBT artists also emerged, meeting in private salons and circles to explore their identities.
Historicism and Academicism Historicism focused on reviving past styles such as Gothic and Renaissance. In architecture and painting, historical themes were used to create dramatic or heroic effects. A prominent figure was the Austrian painter Hans Makart, known for his opulent historical paintings.
At the same time, Academicism flourished, supported by the art academies. This movement valued technical perfection and the depiction of idealized bodies. Artists like Jean-Léon Gérôme and William-Adolphe Bouguereau created works influenced by mythological and erotic themes. Sensuality played a central role, particularly in depictions of male and female beauty.
Secret LGBT Gatherings and Artistic Salons While these artistic movements were celebrated publicly, private salons emerged where LGBT artists and intellectuals met. In cities like Paris, Berlin, and Vienna, these gatherings took place behind closed doors, as homosexuality was socially taboo. Such salons provided a safe space for intimate and sensual encounters as well as the exchange of ideas.
Oscar Wilde and Magnus Hirschfeld were well-known figures who used these spaces to freely explore their sexuality and art. These gatherings often became moments of inspiration, celebrating both artistic and social freedom.
Symbolism: Exploring the Mystical and the Sensual Symbolism emerged as a counter-movement to Academicism, seeking new ways to explore the deeper, spiritual aspects of human experience. Artists like Gustave Moreau and Arnold Böcklin focused on allegorical and mystical themes, often incorporating erotic undertones.
Gustav Klimt combined both sensual and mystical elements in works like "The Kiss," creating an artistic fusion of sexuality and transcendence.
Conclusion The late 19th century was a time of change and contradictions: while the art world was dominated by traditional movements like Historicism and Academicism, hidden LGBT artist circles explored new forms of sensuality and artistic expression through intimate gatherings and salons. This era marked a transition into modernity and laid the groundwork for the radical artistic innovations of the 20th century.

hi! perhaps 🍒 or 🍑 for the ask thing?
PERHAPS I WILL DO BOTH
🍒 What’s your favorite character dynamic to write? (Can be romantic or platonic, specific or general!)
Ohhh man Star Wars is so full of good stuff. Dooku & Asajj, Dooku & Maul, Dooku & Obi-Wan, Obi-Wan & Ashoka... those last two have been particularly fun to write together in Gone with the Light. I think I'm weak for lineage interactions ig.
But yeah, I'm writing Rifle atm and Codywan (especially the middle-aged veteran version) is just such a blast to figure out. But that aside, no matter what era they're in, the constant pressure of their circumstances creates perfect friction... These two are incredibly similar in some aspects and not always in a good way; I think they're uniquely capable of bringing out each other's worst. Both are proud, principled, emotionally repressed for one reason or another and so focused on a greater goal (win the war) that their equally shared kindness can get lost and has to be manually retrieved.
Also uhh the power imbalance (outside of Rifle because things are a little different there) and how they both maneuver within it is what makes the ship so entertaining to me. 20+ year age difference 💥 experience gap 💥 superior-subordinate job dynamic 💥💥 Cody has no human rights and has been conditioned to obey the Jedi since day 1 💥💥💥 I swear figuring this shit out is SO fun. They are horrible and they are everything. I love putting them in Situations that mitigate their differences (like on a mission) only to thrust them back into the sterile bureaucracy-governed "peace" aboard their star destroyer or on Coruscant. Idk I think Codywan is just so versatile and could go a million different ways depending on context and that's what's beautiful about them, I think <3
🍑 If you could make a connection between your favorite character and another work you care about (whether a crossover/fusion or a wonderfully “pretentious” literary reference) what would it be? How would it work?
Leave Your Rifle by the Door is already Cody in the most Disco Elysium predicament I could feasibly wedge him into, except his Dolores Dei is not an ex-wife but his bygone days on the front. Lmao. He has a very "my wife left me :(" attitude about the job he lost
I've been struggling with art over the past weeks but I very desperately want to find the sauce to create Star Wars art in a DE style. With the swirling thoughts and messy painterly vibe and everything. It is my dream <3

20 questions for fic writers
Thank you @mustlovesteve for the tag!
How many works do you have on AO3? 106
What's your total AO3 word count? 603,511
What fandoms do you write for? I’m a one-fandom-at-a-time writer. Currently, I write for Stranger Things. Previously, some in the Captain America and Thor MCU fandoms, Merlin, due South, BtVS, and Angel. I have a smattering of other fandoms in there as well.
What are your top 5 fics by kudos? Steve’s No Good, Terrible, Kinda Perfect Senior Year (ST) He Sets the Tone (ST) A Paladin’s Work is Never Done (ST) She Sets The Agenda (ST) As I Hesitated, Time Rushed Onwards Without Me (Merlin)
Do you respond to comments? I try to. I figure I’ve let a few drop over the years by accident and I’ve never had a story get crazy popular with too many comments to respond to either.
What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Generally I write happy endings but Chosen, Rare Minds is a short, one shot downer. (It’s a canon compliant missing scene fic for the Captain America fandom is angsty in that it’s about Peggy and Howard deciding to move forward with bring Armin Zola into SHIELD using operation paperclip)
What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? I feel like so many of my stories have happy endings, but many of them are series that aren’t done, so the real ending (which will be happy) isn’t published yet. Of the published ones, I think maybe Translucent Hearts. Steve basically dies in the beginning of the story but by the end Steve, Eddie, Robin, and everyone Steve cares about is in a better place and happy with their lives. Lust, Love, and Other Side Effects also has a really happy ending for Steddie specifically.
Do you get hate on fics? I have a dirty, sweet short Darcy/Steve fic that has a shit ton of hits, but no love/kudos and two shitty comments (basically saying that it wasn’t what they expected, but I don’t know what to say, it was tagged and described accurately). Still, it’s tentacle dildo pegging and people don’t seem to want to own up to liking it. Only weird/mean comments I’ve gotten.
Do you write smut? Yes, but the least amount for Stranger Things. For some fandoms all I ever wrote for them was for kink bingo on LJ. I had to learn how to plot before I could do anything but write porn.
Do you write crossovers? Yup! Love a good crossover or fusion. I still love that I am the only Stranger Things/Highlander crossover fic in the fandom.
Have you ever had a fic stolen? I don’t think so.
Have you ever had a fic translated? Again, I don’t think so. No one has told me if they did.
Have you ever co-written a fic before? Nope
What's your all time favorite ship? I am a true mulitshipper and trying to figure out a favorite ship in a single fandom is nearly impossible. I don’t think I could ever do it for all my fandoms ever.
What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? To: Birdbrian c/o the Wakandan Royal Residence - I’ve marked it complete, but it was supposed to be a series of short postcards between Natasha and Clint after Civil War. It was an experiment with writing a WIP that obviously didn’t work.
What are your writing strengths? For someone who writes fluffy stuff: angst, miscommunication (done right, meaning from actual character flaws not contrivance), and horror. Also, dialogue, character arcs, tight plotting, world building (fannish expansion style), and characterization.
What are your writing weaknesses? For all that I write sex, I still feel like it’s more mechanical than I want it to be. Action scenes, rising action and real stakes (I don’t want my babies hurt), emotions, subtle interactions between people - I always have to spell things out.
Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? Super short phrases maybe. But for most MCU stuff I either avoided it or used italics to get across the fact that the dialog was not in English.
First fandom you wrote for? Buffy!
Favorite fics you've written? Steve’s No Good, Terrible, Kinda Perfect Senior Year series, Translucent Hearts, and my Eddie-centric story about Eddie being from the Lab: Future Hazy Try Again (and the rest of the series but I’m really proud of the first story). My older stuff is not my proudest stuff at this point. Some of it is over 20 years old and it shows.
(OMG I'm gonna try and get over my tagging fear, hold my hand and be nice to me)
Tagged: @devondespresso, @formosusiniquis, @ladykailitha, @libraryofgage, @dodger-chan, @1lostsoul0fishbowl

Hani’s Relationship with Hoseok
Fox of BTS | BTS 8th Member
Tumblr media
Hobi & Hani! As the energetic and upbeat member of BTS, Hoseok brought a unique dynamic to Hani’s life, and their bond quickly became one of the highlights of her experience as a part of the group.
A Burst of Energy
From the moment Hani joined BTS, Hobi’s infectious enthusiasm made her feel welcomed and comfortable. He was known for his bright personality, and Hani found herself drawn to his optimism and zest for life. Whenever they were together, there was never a dull moment; Hoseok’s playful antics and jokes could easily lift her spirits, especially during stressful times.
One afternoon, during a particularly intense practice session, Hani was feeling exhausted and a bit overwhelmed. Hoseok noticed her fatigue and, in true J-Hope fashion, burst into an impromptu dance break right in the middle of the studio. He encouraged her to join him, and his playful energy was contagious. Together, they danced and laughed, allowing the stress of practice to fade away. “You’ve got to let loose sometimes, Hani! It’s all about having fun!” he exclaimed, reminding her of the joy of performing.
Creative Collaboration
Their shared passion for performance also led to some exciting collaborations. Hoseok, known for his exceptional dance skills, often helped Hani refine her choreography and stage presence. He would hold spontaneous dance practice sessions, encouraging her to express herself through movement. “Dance is all about feeling, not just technique,” he would say, demonstrating different moves with a big smile.
In the studio, Hoseok frequently bounced ideas off Hani when working on new songs. They would brainstorm concepts, and Hani admired how Hoseok was always eager to explore new styles and sounds. One day, while working on a new track, Hani suggested a fusion of traditional Korean instruments with a modern beat. Hoseok’s eyes lit up, and he immediately began imagining how it could be incorporated into their music. “Let’s make it happen! This could be something special!” he cheered, embodying his role as a creative motivator.
Supportive Older Brother
Hoseok was also a pillar of support for Hani during challenging times. He was one of the first members to notice when she struggled with her confidence, especially during her early days in the group. One evening after a particularly tough rehearsal, Hani was feeling down about her performance. Hoseok sat beside her and shared his own experiences of self-doubt, assuring her that it was perfectly normal to feel that way. “Remember, it’s not about perfection; it’s about growth. We’re all in this together,” he reminded her, his sincerity shining through.
His encouragement extended beyond music. When Hani faced pressure from fans or the media, Hoseok would often check in on her, making sure she felt supported. They would have heart-to-heart talks, where he would share his own coping mechanisms and strategies for dealing with stress. “You have to take care of your heart first,” he advised, always prioritizing her well-being.
Playful Banter
Their friendship was also marked by playful teasing and banter. Hoseok loved to poke fun at Hani in a lighthearted way, especially when it came to her competitive nature. During games or challenges, he would tease her about being too serious, prompting her to loosen up and enjoy the moment. “You’re not competing against anyone but yourself, Hani! Just have fun!” he’d shout during friendly competitions.
Hani, in turn, would often challenge Hoseok during dance-offs, and the two would have a blast trying to outdo each other. Fans loved to see their playful interactions during variety shows and live streams, which showcased their natural chemistry and camaraderie.
Laughter
Their time together was filled with laughter, whether it was during behind-the-scenes moments or when they were onstage performing for fans. Hoseok’s penchant for humor often brought out Hani’s own playful side, and together, they created countless memorable moments that fans cherished.
During a variety show, for instance, they participated in a cooking challenge. As Hoseok fumbled with the ingredients, Hani burst into laughter, and he dramatically exclaimed, “This is the first and last time I’m letting you cook with me!” Their easy rapport made for entertaining television and highlighted the deep friendship they shared.
Mutual Growth
As time went on, Hoseok and Hani continued to motivate each other to grow both personally and artistically. They often engaged in discussions about their dreams and aspirations, encouraging one another to pursue their goals fearlessly. Hoseok’s determination to always improve resonated with Hani, inspiring her to work hard and stay true to her vision.
In a heartfelt moment, Hani once confided in Hoseok about her aspirations outside of music, sharing her desire to inspire young artists. Hoseok nodded in understanding, replying, “You already are, Hani. Just by being yourself, you inspire people every day.” His words solidified the bond between them, as they both understood the importance of lifting each other up.
Fan Perception
Fans adored the friendship between Hani and Hoseok, often highlighting their interactions in fan edits and compilations. They were known as a dynamic duo within the BTS fandom, with many fans loving the blend of Hoseok’s sunshine energy and Hani’s warm presence. Fans often expressed their hopes for more collaborations and moments between the two, which only further solidified their status as a beloved pair.

10 Reasons to Hire an Interior Designer in Ranchi
1. Define Your Style and Needs
Before starting your search, it’s essential to have a clear idea of your style preferences and requirements. Are you leaning towards a contemporary design, a traditional look, or a fusion of both? Do you have specific functional needs for your home? Having a well-defined vision will help you communicate effectively with potential designers and ensure they align with your expectations.
Tips:
Browse design magazines, websites, or platforms like Pinterest for inspiration.
Make a list of your must-haves, such as storage solutions, color schemes, or specific materials.
2. Research Local Designers
Ranchi boasts a growing community of talented interior designers who cater to a range of styles and budgets. Start by compiling a list of potential designers through online searches, social media platforms, and recommendations from friends or family. Look for designers with a strong portfolio and positive client reviews.
Where to Look:
Google searches for “interior designers in Ranchi.”
Social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook.
Local design exhibitions or events.
Recommendations from your network.
3. Evaluate Portfolios and Experience
Once you have a list of potential designers, delve into their portfolios. This will give you a glimpse of their style, creativity, and versatility. Check if they have experience handling projects similar to yours, whether it’s a small apartment, a luxury villa, or a renovation project.
Questions to Ask:
Do they have experience with homes in Ranchi’s climate and culture?
Are their designs functional and aesthetically pleasing?
Have they worked with projects similar in size and scope to yours?
4. Set a Budget
Interior design services can range from affordable to high-end, depending on the designer’s expertise and the complexity of the project. Establishing a budget upfront will help you narrow down your options and avoid unexpected expenses.
Budgeting Tips:
Discuss fees and payment structures early on.
Ask for a detailed estimate, including design, materials, and labor costs.
Be transparent about your budget constraints.
5. Meet and Communicate
Schedule consultations with shortlisted designers to understand their approach, personality, and working style. Effective communication is key to a successful partnership. A good designer should be open to your ideas, provide constructive feedback, and adapt their plans to meet your needs.
Key Points to Discuss:
Your vision and preferences.
Their design process and timeline.
Potential challenges and solutions.
6. Check References and Reviews
Speak with previous clients to gain insights into the designer’s reliability, professionalism, and ability to meet deadlines. Online reviews and testimonials can also provide valuable information about their reputation.
Questions for References:
Were you satisfied with the final design?
Did the designer stay within budget and timeline?
How was their problem-solving ability?
7. Verify Credentials and Licenses
While creativity is crucial, professional qualifications and credentials also matter. Ensure the designer you choose is licensed and follows ethical practices. Membership in professional organizations like the Indian Institute of Interior Designers (IIID) can be a plus.
8. Consider Compatibility
Your interior designer will be a part of your home journey for weeks or even months. It’s important to choose someone you feel comfortable working with and who understands your lifestyle and personality.
Traits to Look For:
Good listener.
Adaptability and flexibility.
Strong problem-solving skills.
9. Focus on Sustainability
As sustainability becomes increasingly important, consider designers who incorporate eco-friendly practices and materials. Many designers in Ranchi now offer solutions that are both stylish and environmentally responsible.
Sustainable Options:
Use of local materials to reduce carbon footprint.
Energy-efficient lighting and appliances.
Designs that maximize natural light and ventilation.
10. Finalize a Contract
Before starting the project, ensure all terms are documented in a detailed contract. This should include the scope of work, timeline, payment schedule, and any other agreed-upon terms. A clear contract helps prevent misunderstandings and ensures a smooth collaboration.
Conclusion:
Choosing the right interior designer in Ranchi is a crucial step in turning your house into a home. By following these tips, you can find a professional who shares your vision, respects your budget, and delivers a design that perfectly reflects your personality and lifestyle. Take your time, do thorough research, and trust your instincts to make the best choice. Your dream home awaits!

Dear My Brain, I do NOT need to do another massive Trigun AU right now. However, just to make you happy, I'll toss out my ideas here for "maybe someday." Okay, I'm on a Fallout-kick lately. Good show for my games, yes? A rare pretty decent live action adaptation of a set of video games. Definitely nods to fans / players there. Also been doing a little playing of Fallout 4. (Fallout 3 is the only game of the series I've played all the way through main quest sadly (maybe I'll download the classics from Steam...) Anyway, I've played with this notion for Trigun before - but only in the "if they were players." I made perks / gameplay styles for the main characters. So, what are you doing, brain? Why are you starting to come up with ideas for an actual story for me to write as a crossover?!!! Especially when I do not know if there are enough people who like both properties AND read fanfiction to be interested in a crossover AU / fusion fic - then again, I tend to write things primarily for my own delight, anyway. I was telling myself "no, these two things are already too similar, there's really no need," but then came the idea that "no, there are some things unique enough to the Fallout setting that you could really have fun with the Trigun characters wandering a post nuclear North America rather than Planet Gunsmoke / No Man's Land." I could even interchangeably refer to the Wasteland as No Man's Land... Okay, Brain, so you're telling me that in this fusion universe, Vault-Tec had a subsidiary that worked closely with the budding U.S. space program, which if I am not mistaken, is canon (that satellite-dish quest in Fallout 3 and that experimental for space-colonisation front Vault concealing the real experiment in the Nuka-World expansion for 4). SEEDS was sort of its own separate thing, more benevolent than the Vaults and free from their wild secret experiments. Their mission was open: Developing a new, yet profitable, source of power for the cooperate overlords to profit from, being a failsafe for re-terraforming the Earth in the event of a nuclear war, and being a study for close-quarter scientist-living for potential space colonies. SEEDS Vault 05 (as distinct from Vault 5, SEEDS gets a different class) saw the successful bioengineering of life forms they called Plants. They were actually developed shortly before the war of 2077, but were not considered perfected. After the bombs dropped and the doors sealed, further study showed the Plants' potential as essentially living G.E.C.Ks (Garden of Eden Creation Kits). A living answer to the G.E.C.K, water-chips, cold-fusion... Even a potential way to divest from the atomic energy that America had been depending on since the end of WWII. (Fallout, for non-players, is an AU of reality diverging at WWII's end). And then Independents are born. Rem Saverem, a rogue scientist who rebels against Vault-Tec's lack of ethics managed to smuggle out the first Independent. Poor Tesla, being a little girl she had to send out, but the Hell of the Wastes were literally a better shot for her survival than for her to stay in the SEEDS-Vault. Sometime later, a pair of twin boys are born and Rem manages to convince the crew not to make them into test subjects. Until she can't. Cue big escape scene where she gets Vash and Nai out of the vault and dies in a hail of bullets right before them as guards cut her down and come after them... And so starts the journey of pair of living McGuffins who can either save the world or destroy it in search of their lost sister. Nai eventually becomes Millions Knives, a brutal Wasteland warlord bent on the destruction of humankind. Vash is on the run with bounties upon bounties upon him. He meets a ghoul named Wolfwood, dependant upon a certain kind of Chem to heal his wounds and to keep him from going feral and a couple of reporter-ladies from one of the larger settlement-cities intent upon uncovering Wasteland mysteries.

Trespasser has recently released a new studio work titled “Wasted Time.”
Since their debut in 2022, the brooklyn-based indie rock band Trespasser has been on a relentless journey to reaching a broader audience. Their energetic live shows and powerful dynamics have earned them a stellar reputation within the local scene and beyond. Each show is a unique experience, thanks to the band's willingness to shake things up with improvisational segments. Their latest studio work, 'Wasted Time', is a testament to their ability to translate raw energy into a well-recorded and highly organic track. This release is a fusion of classic elements like country and bluegrass with the fierce impact of punk and indie rock.
The band features five musicians, each bringing something unique to the formula in terms of how their different backgrounds and influences collide. The band aptly combined all of the aforementioned styles and more, merging them into a unique approach they like to call "outlaw scrungle," a really fitting definition to their free, energetic, and raw sound, which still retains a very personal twist.
"Wasted Time" is a really good example of how the band is able to perform with raw energy but also maintain a very melodic dimension, with some personal and understated lyrics that are easy to relate to. The song begins with a simple yet catchy guitar riff, followed by some melodic arpeggios. The main riff is based on the lower strings, creating a throaty, vintage tone that still has plenty of twang to cut through the mix. On the other hand, the arpeggiated parts have a crisp, clearer, and glassier tone that rounds up the guitar sound beautifully. The way the band managed to blend a more aggressive and a softer guitar is truly remarkable, and the song benefits from the crunch/clean dichotomy that makes the chords sound more detailed and harmonically rich. Sometimes, excessive distortion can mask all the nuances of the beautiful interaction between guitars, but in this case, the extra sparkle enables the guitars to feel very detailed and impactful.
The first verse of the song is actually more laid back, with jangly clean guitars and a reprise of the arpeggio with the main riff. This is a perfect way to create varying dynamics, which bring more "peaks and valleys" into the mix. In other words, there is no loud without quiet!
The chorus enables even more variety, with a pleasant chord change and the drums focusing on a faster ride cymbal 8th note pattern to really cut through the guitars and bass. The second verse is more sparse, creating a great contrast with the fullness of the chorus. At first, drums and vocals are the most prominent elements, but the guitars kick in soon after, taking the verse back to its full range and then leading into the chorus. The hooks are memorable yet retain the song's earthy and intimate sound. The layered vocal harmonies are beautifully executed, with the female vocals adding more harmonic depth to the track. The lead vocals bring so much charisma and a natural swagger to the mix, really emphasizing the charming outlaw vibe that makes the band's music so distinctive and impressive. The guitar parts are tastefully executed throughout, maintaining a very natural sound, somewhere in between crunchy and clean. There is also room for a soaring guitar solo, which brings the song's energy to a whole new level and even bleeds into the next chorus, adding some incredibly cool and unexpected notes, as well as some bends that add a raw, jam-like sensibility to the mix. The lead guitar actually continues to meander past the chorus and up to the end of the song, making for a truly energizing and spontaneous vibe, almost as if the band decided to ramp up the energy toward the end of the song to maximize the impact of the closing. In conclusion, this track stands out for its honest spontaneity. It is highly recommended to people who enjoy early Kings Of Leon or Francis Moon, as well as artists such as Lucero and Wilco, but with a punkier, edgier vibe that brings so much depth. The production of "Wasted Time" first makes the song perfect with a more organic sound that seamlessly affirms the band's sense of authenticity. The group did a fantastic job at making sure this recording would feel like a true portrait of the band at its best. "Wasted Time" really feels like the real sound of a band, playing in a room and letting the energy flow with none of the typical artifice you'd encounter in a more polished production.
Find out more about Trespasser, and listen to "Wasted Time" on your favorite digital streaming service.
