The Small World I Wanted to Protect

Obtainability: Limited to “Pax Romana’s Sweetheart” event shop. This is event bonus memoria and should be kept in case of a rerun.

MLB Effect: Attack Up [15%] & Accele MP Gain Up [17.5%]

Effect Definitions:

Attack Up increases the equipped character’s base stats, meaning that its effects are calculated before buffs/debuffs are considered. The effect caps at 100%.

Accele MP Gain Up will increase the amount of MP gained by using Accele discs.

TLDR: A common memoria to buy from event shops, but luckily it’s a good combination of effects. This memoria will be useful in magia teams, provided you plan on using Accele discs.

Review: Accele MP Gain Up and Attack Up are a good combination. Attack Up can be used whenever-- you almost always want to have it, as it’s the best offensive buff in the game. The only times you don’t want to have it are when you’re overcapping on it, but you probably don’t need to worry about that if you’re considering using a memoria like this. Accele MP Gain Up will help increase your MP when using Accele discs, allowing you to reach Magia/Doppel faster, and when you do, that Attack Up will help make the Magia/Doppel hit harder. A fairly useful combo!

This is a nice freebie memo that gives both Attack Up and Accele MP Gain Up, but there are several memoria in the game like it now, and I’m not just talking in general. Here’s a short list of just three-star memoria that strike similarities:

Notably, all of these four-star memoria (except for the first one) will offer the same amount of Accele MP Gain Up as “The Small World” does. The biggest differences are the secondary effect and how much passive ATK stats they give. That means equipping “The Small World” can give you the same mp gain with a loss in offensive potential. However, it’s also worth pointing out that if one of the above memoria isn’t max-awakened then “The Small World” might actually be better for you overall in comparison, as it comes max-awakened and max-leveled for free!

Overall a good event shop memoria. This should be useful wherever you need a magia team-- just remember that the Accele MP Gain Up only applies to Accele discs and not to overall MP gained. That means this is best used on characters who plan on using Accele Discs.

Ren Isuzu was the very first 4 star magical girl to be added to magia record post launch along with the first tower event "A Diary to Write With You"

But did you know that she was accidentally released early?

Before her event started, players reported being able to summon her, which caused the servers to go into emergency maintenance with f4samurai having to rollback the server, undoing everyone's rolls that gave them ren early.

as (what i believe was) compensation, During her event you could buy 1 Ren Isuzu destiny gem in mitama's shop for 250 Notebooks, Making it the one of the only times you could get a 4 star gacha only magical girl's destiny gem from an event.

So many including myself unlocked our first memoria slot for her for free.

New Event Explanation/Thoughts

You can get free memoria specific to these girls! I'm not sure if it's event-only or if they'll work all the time. I'm hoping the latter because the effects are kind of super powerful.

The way it works: The little orbs in colors will give you lots of despair for your despair gauge. Each one will benefit all the girls, but you can prioritize which girl will benefit the most by selecting a node specifically. For example:

Purple tongue battle gives a lot of bonus to Natsuki and Shizuku, a medium amount to Ren, and then not as much to Sasara and Emiri.

These battles down here don't give you any bonus to the despair gauge. Instead, it gives you extra of the shop currency!

which is good. because you can't target what you want from the shop. It's a random gacha-style event reward system, similar to how New Years does it. And the very best stuff is located at the back.

So PREPARE TO GRIND IF YOU WANT THOSE INNOCENT GEM FRAGMENTS!

I'm pleased overall. This gave me massive nostalgia to play. I'm SO glad it's not a fucking tower event lmao. I even avoided using Historia Yachiyo/Devilmura combo and stuck with the event girls just to make it more fun although I'm back to histayachi and akumura for getting materials and stuff

I'm really hoping that the new memoria can be used outside of the event, because they're REALLY good from what I can tell. They're character specific but kind of amazing. I like it-- it's like SE, but you have to sacrifice a memoria slot except not really, because what they get is probably better than anything than you could equip.

So this year's April Fools' event is about Elfnein making a low poly fighting game and everyone in the room cheers on Elfnein because they want to see her win against Hibiki. Chibi Shem-Ha and Elfnein from the past few April Fools' events are in the event shop so you can get them if you missed them before and you get this Memoria for finishing the event

Leftover Summer Servant anniversary (guess they were sounding out the brainless whales with "Lady Avalon" last year) because likely didn't finish the real one.

LB6-themed Summer which looks like Soulless Beach Resort crap (instead of a fantasy horror setting). The presence of crap characters like the lolibait of Prillya and Suzuka just made it worse.

Recycled skins for the Knights (super lazy, Gawain face looks shopped on that).

Shoving Oberon to this crap (I almost threw up, I thought he dodged a bullet to avoid the soulless summer event sigh). Guess they needed a generic villain so the shallow waifu of turn can get to shine.

That "memorial" video was so unnecessarily hyped. Pretty animation, but wasted and frankly baffling in the direction department (why suddenly include QSH? And pretend Jeanne's background is relevant to Jalter?) and tone deaf with current year FGO. This isn't 2017. A Lostbelt memorial should be better because we just ended that phase, but of course, that wouldn't shill regular Artoria and random characters that had nothing to do with FGO plot like Fran or Iskandar. I did like the Merlin's parts watching the wars because felt significantly heavier but ultimately it felt like a waste of resources. Do better next year rather than just copy MEMORIA vibes (except it's a lesser version because Memoria included the relevant cast, imagine Memoria but put in Cu or Medusa pfftahahahah), ok? And uh, maybe stop wasting the budget on these pandering stuff and actually invest in a good budget for the adaptations of the works. The ones we had were atrocious.

The Dubiously Needed, Unnecessarily Extensive Magia Record Stat Sheet Guide (Rarity)

This is a bit of a weird one to start with. Rarity…has absolutely no influence on a character’s canonical strength. It is a purely gacha-based mechanic, intended to sort characters for a gacha-based purpose. Really, it has no place in an OC guide. It’s not like we’re going to be pumping out mods with our own OCs tomorrow. (Though, if we do that, hit me up, I would be so down.)

However…a character’s rarity does influence a unit’s stats. So I felt like it would be wrong of me not to mention it. A 2⋆ unit and a 3⋆ unit with the same type and growth type will have different stats and that can be disorienting. So, here’s a quick overview. 

A character’s base rarity can be anything from ⋆ to ⋆⋆⋆⋆. 1 ⋆ characters are generally not included in the gacha and are instead given out for free or bought in an event shop. 2 ⋆ and 3 ⋆ characters can be either bought in an event shop or rolled in the gacha. 4 ⋆ characters are almost always gacha-exclusive. In this context, stars determine a character’s rarity. 

The more stars a character has, the stronger their base stats are. This can be evened out to some degree with Awakening, where any character can be raised up to 5 ⋆ with the stats to match. However, a character with a higher rarity will always have a higher stat total than a character with a lower rarity. 

To give you an example, here are two units of two different rarities, but the same element, type, and growth type, at maximum Awakening. Keep in mind that this is without memoria, Spirit Enhancement or Attribute Enhancement. 

Tsuruno Yui (2⋆, Flame, Magia Type, ATTACK Growth Type)

HP: 18,927

ATK: 8,552

DEF: 6,056

Touka Satomi (4⋆, Flame, Magia Type, ATTACK Growth Type)

HP: 21,019

ATK: 9,803

DEF: 6,072

Though Tsuruno and Touka both have Attack-focused stats, it is Touka with the higher Attack stat, as she has the higher rarity. She also has higher HP and slightly higher Defense. 

What does this mean for character creation? Uh…well, it could mean something, or it could mean nothing. It really depends on how specific you want to be with your stat totals. 

How you decide your characters’ rarity is totally up to you. You could rank them lowest to highest, based on their level of skill. Or you could make them all 4⋆ because you love them! This is totally valid! I have done the same thing many times. 

As a final note, there is some difference between unlimited and limited 4⋆. This is another purely gacha-based designation. Unlimited characters can be pulled on any banner at any time, while limited characters are only available on a banner for a specified period. This does not matter for us. What DOES matter is that limited characters often have better stats than unlimited characters, because gacha games gotta make that money. Example part 2!

Ren Isuzu (4⋆, Dark, Magia Type, BALANCE Growth Type)

HP: 21,420

ATK: 9,128

DEF: 6,844

Kanagi Izumi - Vampire ver. (4⋆, Dark, Magia Type, BALANCE Growth Type)

HP: 22,524

ATK: 10,004

DEF: 7,016

As you can see, while Ren and Vampire Kanagi are both 4⋆, Vampire Kanagi has the higher total in each stat. 

Not all of these differences are significant (Ren and Vampire Kanagi have like a 200-point difference in their Defense stats), but I wanted to mention it for any further discrepancies. Again, whether this matters to you or not is your own personal interpretation! I promise, nobody is going to yell at you if your unlimited OC’s ATK stat is 20 points past the unlimited threshold. They aren’t characters you can actually roll for, so balance is a meaningless concept and we're all just here to have fun!

I know Kimochi has been going on for a bit now but in case your team lacks some more active MP Gain Up memoria you should head to the SP Shop and grab this event memoria from Ui´s release.

Attack Up [V / 25%] & MP Gain Up [II / 7.5%] (Self / 3 Turns)

The amount of MP Gain Up isn´t groundbreaking but it lasts for three turns and has some good attack buff alongside it.

We also have this 3* memoria that provides 10% MP Gain Up for three turns. So this one might be worth picking up in the SP shop too!

MLB Effect: Blast Damage Up [35%] & Accele MP Gain Up [20%] (Self / 1 Turn)

Effect Definitions:

Blast Damage Up is a straightforward buff that means Blast Discs will deal more damage. Blast Damage Up has a capped percentage at 100%.

Accele MP Gain Up will increase the amount of MP gained by using Accele discs.

TLDR: Depends on what kind of units you're using and how much of a whale you are.

Review: This memoria is most similar to the limited three-star memoria "Misunderstandings and Broken Hearts", but you can compare it to many different flavors of memo as seen below:

This easily purchased event shop memoria has easily power crept other event shop memoria such as "You Want to Meet AI" by giving more percentage for its effects, but to be honest, that isn't saying very much.

Before addressing how good the memoria is, let's first address the memoria's main issue: Accele MP Gain Up and Blast Damage Up don't really go together all that well. Memoria like this are okay if you enter a fight unknowing of what sort of strategy you'll be using on a unit that has two accele and two blast discs, or perhaps on support that could be built either way as a straight-up fighter or a magia unit (such as Tsuruno Yui), but otherwise "Our Chosen Future" suffers from having two effects that don't benefit each other.

The only other possibility (maybe) would be a unit that gains MP from using blast discs-- but this is still a wild maybe. After all, you'd need to use an Accele disc too for both effects to actually work. Accele > Blast > Blast would work, but then you're losing out on the blast damage combo. Overall, these just aren't two effects that you'll willingly want to use often together.

With that in mind, this review will focus on the Accele MP Gain Up aspect of it, because Blast Damage Up is very easy to find. In fact, there's a three-star unlimited memoria with a shorter cooldown and higher Blast Damage Up yield that you can grab easily:

(3*) “Begin a Hunt” Blast Damage Up [50%] (Self / 1 Turn)

Even a single copy of the following memoria will give you more Blast Damage Up over "Our Chosen Future"

(4*) “Unwavering Belief” Blast Damage Up [60%] (Self / 1 Turn)

So with that in mind, let's talk about that accele mp gain up.

Whether or not you use this memoria depends on how good your units are and how good your other memoria are. At a certain level of gameplay, Accele MP Gain Up is rarely going to be seen, let alone used, and if it is going to be used, you'll probably being using something that gives higher yield than a 20% Accele MP Gain Up bonus. That feels absurd to say maybe 3 years ago, but the game isn't in the same state as it was then.

The issue is that Accele MP Gain Up affects Accele discs, and if you have the right characters, you're not going to be using those often if at all. In higher-tier magia kimochi, you'll want to increase mp gain up at all costs instead; having the right units means you might not ever need to even touch an accele disc.

Of course, it's possible you might still want some Accele MP Gain Up to set up your rolling endless Magia strategy, but you're probably more likely to use memoria such as “Sudden Pajama Party” or “Towards the True Conclusion” or even “Budding Sweetness”; all of which offer more usefulness overall than a one-turn simple accele mp gain up.

If you're not a whale, if you're free to play or if you need any help you can get in getting mp out of accele discs, then this is a very decent memoria. The Accele MP Gain Up is surprisingly competitive and higher than some of the unlimited memoria you can acquire in the game, though it's beat out by the max-awakened "Latent Strength of the Tokime". However if you don't have a max-awakened version of that four-star memoria, this one will do in a pinch.

Overall, this isn't a great memoria despite the powercreep. Whether or not you'll use it depends on what you already have and how many excellent units you're fielding.

You'll probably want to keep it regardless in the chance that this collaboration event gets a rerun in the future.

Madoka’s Birthday Celebration

For Madoka’s Birthday (October 3), the game is giving away some easy goodies-- this includes Rainbow Orbs, Support Points, a memoria, and one 10x ticket!

First, we get a free memoria.

To acquire it, go to the shops and it should be the first thing you see, available for an easy-to-aquire 100 Support Points.

Go ahead and purchase it.

The memoria itself isn’t actually very good, but that’s fine because equipping it allows you to perform special missions which give you some excellent goodies:

Completing battles with the memoria will give you:

15 battles: 10k SP

30 battles: 10 rainbow orbs

45 battles: one 10x ticket!

This is very easy to accomplish right now if you want (aka before maintenance).

Currently we have the half ap, double support event going on, but this will end in a few hours. If you want to go ahead and get your goodies, just go to arc 1, chapter 2, episode 1 and do battle 4 on auto. Half ap means you’ll be able to do this very quickly at half the cost, making it easy to hit 45 battles.

Just make sure you put the memoria on! ...I completely forgot after farming for an hour and need to redo it.

The new memoria you get from the event "shop" (lottery draw shop?) is surprisingly decent.

Attack Up [20%] & Anti-Bind

It has decent ATK stats too, and comes fully awakened. Not bad for new players or f2p or plain ol' unlucky ones.

The Kamen Rider website has a bit more information about the upcoming collab, Senki Zesshou Symphogear x Kamen Rider 555: Another Testament

The event will start on October 27 and end on November 10. I didn't mention it before, but the story will be written by Toshiki Inoue. The card of Tsubasa in her Delta Gear will be in the event shop and there will also be a Memoria card titled "The Heart(s) of Human(s)" or "Human Heart(s)" something like that (not the organ though)

The synopsis given is:

"A parallel world in the not so distant future. In this world, humanity has been driven to the brink of extinction by its natural enemy, the 'Orphe-Noise.'

Tsubasa Kazanari fights as the leader of the Human Liberation Army in this devastated world. Hibiki Tachibana fights having inherited the name of Kamen Rider, the legendary savior. And Kanade Amou lost her life as a Symphogear wielder.

Symphogear and Rider Gear. When the two Gears cross, the warriors will evolve into a new form."

So yes, from the sounds of things, these are most likely new alternate versions of Kanade, Tsubasa, and Hibiki

I did the 150 stepup

Swimsuit Kyoko is now maxed out.

And I've been sleeping very poorly the last few days and lack of judgement pulled on the 2018/2019 gacha knowing I was going to have to go to the pity to get a 4 star.

They dropped at 98, but it's what I wanted so I'm really happy. They are now 3 slots.

On thing I noticed in my pulls was the amount of limited memoria that was dropping. Granted the one's from theirs didn't, but I picked up most of the others from the other three events with dupes.

I'm reluctant to do the other step up gacha for Mitama and Momoko because I already have a maxed out Mami and Rena/Kaede.

Wait... I just saw I can go to the Mitama Pity on the 2018/2019 gacha I can snag their last slot even if they aren't on it! Yes I will be doing that but I'm going to wait for the shop reset.

Then no spending till the new summer units come out.

I will get my all maxed out swimsuit supports because I am not a sane person.
