Biden supporters are raising Trump's associations with Jeffrey Epstein — again.
Recently-released docs in the Epstein investigation make no mention of Trump.
Democrats have tried deflecting concerns about Biden's age by bringing up Trump's past.
Some Joe Biden supporters are employing a tried-and-true strategy to fend off rampant debate over the President's age and mental acuity: deflection.
On social media — and even in the halls of Congress — certain Biden supporters are using Donald Trump's associations with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein as an argument to disqualify him.
Discourse about Trump and Epstein was reignited after documents from Epstein's first Florida investigation in 2006 were released last week.
But the 158-page document — a grand jury transcript showing prosecutors heard testimony that Epstein raped girls as young as 14, then still cut him a sweetheart plea deal — makes no mention of Trump himself.
Still, some seized the news cycle as a way to counteract doubts about Biden's own fitness to run for office in 2024.
Why no one's writing about Trump and Epstein
During a press conference on Tuesday, Rep. Ted Lieu of California urged more media coverage of the "Epstein files," adding that a "highly disturbing" hashtag about Trump and Epstein was trending on X.
Trump had previously been photographed with Epstein, Lieu said, had flown with him on planes with young girls on board, and the two were listed on call logs together.
"It shows that Donald Trump is unfit for office," the congressman said, adding Trump was also convicted of sexual abuse in civil court.
Ben Meiselas, the cofounder of liberal news network Meidas Touch, also posted on X about "the release of new Epstein files with Trump's name on it." Other Biden boosters have suggested a coordinated media cover-up to boost Trump's chances or doom Biden's.
But Trump isn't named in the latest records, a fact reiterated on X by Julie Brown, the Miami Herald investigative journalist who helped break the Epstein story.
Media outlets haven't reported on Trump's connection to the new Epstein files because there isn't one.
What we know about Trump's relationship with Epstein
Trump has appeared in previous unsealed and uncovered documents connected to the Epstein case.
Trump was also connected to 14 different numbers in Epstein's little black book of contacts that surfaced before the financier's arrest on sex trafficking charges in 2019. Among the contacts were Trump's wife, Melania; ex-wife, Ivana; and daughter, Ivanka.
The contact book also included the names of high-profile celebrities like Courtney Love, Alec Baldwin, and Naomi Campbell, as well as politicians and dignitaries like John Kerry, Michael Bloomberg, Henry Kissinger, and Prince Andrew.
Unsealed flight logs in 2019 revealed Trump took a flight on Epstein's private jet in 2017; billionaire couple Glenn and Eva Dubin joined him on the flight from Palm Beach to Newark.
And in January, a Business Insider analysis of then-unsealed court records determined Trump appeared in the documents multiple times under the moniker "Doe 174."
However, the mentions in those documents weren't all damning for the former President, BI's Jacob Shamsian reported at the time.
In one instance, a woman denied in a deposition that she'd massaged Trump. In another, a woman claimed — then recanted — that her friend had had sex with him. And Virginia Roberts Giuffre, one of the key accusers of sexual abuse by Epstein and his associates, said in one document that she didn't think Trump was involved.
Trump had previously faced allegations by an anonymous woman that claimed he had violently raped her at an orgy when she was 13 years old. The woman — who went by the pseudonym "Katie Johnson" — even filed a lawsuit against Trump, twice.
The first was a civil rights suit in April 2016 that was thrown out on a technicality. Vox noted that the original suit listed the woman's apparent address as an abandoned home.
She filed a second lawsuit that removed some of the lurid details. Still, the case was connected to strange characters, including a Jerry Springer producer who tried to sell a video of the purported accuser to news outlets for $1 million and an anti-Trump activist who promoted the lawsuit — and had a history of spreading untrue gossip.
The woman abruptly dropped the lawsuit in November 2016, just days before the election that Donald Trump would win. Her lawyer didn't share a reason for why the lawsuit was dropped at the time.
Trump had publicly praised Epstein before his sexual abuse allegations came to light. He called Epstein a "terrific guy" in 2002, adding, "It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side."
But the Washington Post reported the two men had a falling out in 2004 after they both wanted to buy a prime Palm Beach property.
After Epstein's arrest, Trump told reporters, "I was not a fan of his, that I can tell you." Trump has also said he barred Epstein from Mar-A-Lago.

Jeffrey Epstein documents unsealed, naming Prince Andrew and former President Clinton
CNN —
Hundreds of pages of unsealed documents from a lawsuit connected to accused sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein were publicly released on Wednesday. This is the first set of documents to be unsealed under a December 18 court order, with more expected in the coming weeks.
The documents in total, including material yet to be unsealed, are expected to include nearly 200 names, including some of Epstein’s accusers, prominent businesspeople, politicians and potentially more.
The first batch of documents didn’t appear to contain any bombshell revelations. Much of the information in them has already been released through media reports and other court proceedings. But this is the first time these documents, filed with a court, have been released through the legal system.
Attorneys for Ghislaine Maxwell said in a statement on Wednesday: “She has consistently and vehemently maintained her innocence.”
The documents contain excerpts of depositions taken of Maxwell and Virginia Roberts Giuffre. There is also a deposition from Johanna Sjoberg, who in the document described Prince Andrew touching her breast in a joking manner while taking photos.
Sjoberg’s story has been public, but this is the first time her deposition has been unsealed. She worked sometimes for Epstein, and she has said that he pressured her to go beyond her comfort level at times in giving sexualized massages.
Prince Andrew and Virginia Giuffre previously reached an out-of-court settlement in her sexual abuse lawsuit against him, according to a court document filed by her attorneys Tuesday. Andrew has denied the allegations against him.
The deposition transcripts include references to several prominent names, as has been previously reported, including Andrew as well as Bill Clinton, the former US president.
Sjoberg recalled in her 2016 deposition that Epstein spoke to her about Bill Clinton.
“He said one time that Clinton likes them young, referring to girls,” she said.

When asked if Clinton was a friend of Epstein’s, she said she understood Epstein had “dealings” with Clinton.
A spokesman for Clinton confirmed in 2019 that the former president had flown on Epstein’s private plane but said Clinton knew nothing of the financier’s “terrible crimes.”
A Clinton spokesman on Wednesday reiterated that 2019 denial and told CNN that it has now “been nearly 20 years since President Clinton last had contact with Epstein.” Clinton has not been accused of any crimes or wrongdoing related to Epstein.
In her deposition, Johanna Sjoberg also recalled a time she was with Epstein on one of his planes and pilots informed them they needed to land in Atlantic City. Epstein then suggested they contact Donald Trump.
“Jeffrey said, Great, we’ll call up Trump and we’ll go to – I don’t recall the name of the casino, but – we’ll go to the casino,” Sjoberg said.
Sjoberg later said in her deposition she never gave a massage to Trump. Trump is not accused of wrongdoing related to Epstein in the documents.
CNN has reached out to the Trump campaign for comment.
Giuffre alleged in her deposition that Maxwell directed her to have sexual contact with people including former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, Prince Andrew, tech guru Marvin Minsky, well-known French modeling scout Jean-Luc Brunel and American investor Glenn Dubin.
A Dubin spokesperson said in a statement in 2019, when Giuffre’s allegations were previously made public, that “”Glenn and Eva Dubin are outraged by the allegations against them in the unsealed court records and categorically reject them.” The statement was widely reported at the time, including in the Washington Post, the Hill and Vanity Fair.
The same portion of that deposition still has three unnamed people that were not revealed Wednesday. Giuffre alleges Maxwell directed her to have sexual relations with an “unnamed prince,” the “owner of a large hotel chain” and a completely redacted out name.
It is not clear from the document whether Giuffre subsequently had sexual contact with any of the people named.
Other records unsealed are legal motions filed by the attorneys.
The documents are filings from a settled case brought by Virginia Roberts Giuffre, an American woman who claimed Epstein sexually abused her as a minor and that Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s former girlfriend, aided in the abuse.
Many of the alleged victims and associates have given public interviews and have already been identified in the media. Inclusion in the newly unredacted documents is not an indication of wrongdoing or lawbreaking.
Some victims’ names remain redacted due to the sensitive nature of the crimes, according to court filings.
Epstein was indicted in 2019 on federal charges of operating a sex trafficking ring in which he allegedly sexually abused dozens of underage girls.
Epstein died by suicide in jail while awaiting trial. Prosecutors in New York indicted Maxwell on sex trafficking charges involving multiple victims. She was convicted in 2021.

Going back to the Roman Polanski petition and the Epstein files, just the ones I’ve seen so far, it’s so incredibly disheartening seeing how many entertainers and people I generally held in positive regard are on these lists. There is, of course, the chance they didn’t know anything and were just shuttled around as being famous rich people, but...man. They’re on the same list as people we know are cretins, so there’s no way of actually knowing who is and isn’t good. It’s like trying to tell which porn is and isn’t consensual, you just can’t.
anyway here’s a list so far of all the elites named in the epstein files, or who supported roman polanski’s relase after he was arrested for raping a teenage girl:

UNCONTROLLABLY”: POWERFUL MEN, DISTURBING NEW DETAILS IN UNSEALED JEFFREY EPSTEIN DOCUMENTS
Glenn Dubin, Bill Richardson, George Mitchell, and others are mentioned. “A lot of important people are going to have a really bad weekend,” said a source.
BY Gabriel Sherman | Published AUGUST 9, 2019 | Vanity Fair | Posted August 10, 2019 |
The Jeffrey Epstein scandal has so far unfolded like a horror movie played on a broken projector: The gruesomeness is clear, but many details remain obscured by sealed court records and confidential settlements Epstein signed with several alleged victims. In the elite worlds of Manhattan, Washington, Palm Beach, and Silicon Valley in which Epstein operated, his former friends and business associates have been left to nervously wait to see who among them might be named as participants in his alleged sex ring.
Today, the resolution is considerably sharper. Following a judge’s order, a federal court released the first batch of thousands of pages of sealed records related to a defamation lawsuit Epstein’s self-described “sex slave” Virginia Roberts Giuffre filed against Epstein’s alleged madam,  Ghislaine Maxwell. And the documents, for the first time, reveal the names of powerful men who Giuffre alleges Maxwell and Epstein forced her to have sex with, as well as new details about Epstein’s relationships with Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, and Donald Trump.“A lot of important people are going to have a really bad weekend,” one person involved in the litigation told me. (Attorneys for Maxwell and Epstein did not respond to a request for comment.)
Perhaps the most eye-opening of the names is hedge-fund billionaire Glenn Dubin, who Giuffre alleges was the first powerful man Epstein and Maxwell directed her to first have sex with, sometime in 2001. Dubin and Epstein’s friendship has been well documented ever since it was revealed last month that Epstein had invested millions in Dubin’s hedge fund Highbridge Capital and helped engineer JPMorgan’s acquisition of Dubin’s firm. (Epstein had previously dated Dubin’s wife, the former model turned physician Eva Andersson.) After Epstein’s release from a Florida prison in 2010, Andersson reportedly wrote a letter to his probation officer asserting it was okay for Epstein to be around their children. Dubin couldn’t be reached for comment.
Giuffre also alleges Epstein and Maxwell told her to have sex with former New Mexico governor Bill Richardson;  former Democratic Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell; the late MIT computer scientist Marvin Minsky; and MC2 model agency cofounder Jean Luc Brunel, as well as an unnamed “prince,” “foreign president,” and owner of “a French hotel chain.” Giuffre previously alleged she had been forced by Epstein and Maxwell to have sex with lawyer Alan Dershowitz and Britain’s Prince Andrew.
A spokesperson for Richardson said in a statement: “These allegations and inferences are completely false...To be clear, in Governor Richardson’s limited interactions with Mr. Epstein, he never saw him in the presence of young or underage girls. Governor Richardson has never been to Mr. Epstein’s residence in the Virgin Islands.
Governor Richardson has never met Ms. Giuffre.”
Mitchell said in a statement: “The allegation contained in the released documents is false. I have never met, spoken with or had any contact with Ms. Giuffre. In my contacts with Mr. Epstein I never observed or suspected any inappropriate conduct with underage girls. I only learned of his actions when they were reported in the media related to his prosecution in Florida. We have had no further contact.”
Brunel’s attorney Andrew Frisch did not respond to a request for comment. Both Dershowitz and Prince Andrew have in the past denied Giuffre’s allegations.
While the contours of Giuffre’s account have been known—she was a 16-year-old who says she was recruited into the massage ring by Maxwell in the summer of 2000 from the spa at Mar-a-Lago—the specificity in which Giuffre and others describe Epstein’s alleged sex-trafficking operation add a grisly new dimension to the scandal. There are chilling photographs of Giuffre at Epstein’s Zorro ranch in New Mexico and posing with Prince Andrew and Maxwell at Maxwell’s London flat, and copies of handwritten message pads from Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion. (One message about an alleged victim reads: “She is wondering if 2:30 is o.k. She needs to stay in school.”)
Epstein accuser Johanna Sjobergsaid under oath that Maxwell approached her on her college campus with the promise of a job answering Epstein’s phones, but within a day she was coerced into having sex with Epstein. Epstein once told her “he needed to have three orgasms a day. It was biological, like eating,” she recalled.
In a sworn deposition, Rinaldo Rizzo, the former house manager at the Dubins’ Palm Beach mansion, described a harrowing incident in which a 15-year-old Swedish girl showed up at the house and said Epstein and Maxwell had tried to force her to have sex at Epstein’s private Caribbean island. When she refused, Maxwell took her passport.
“Was she in fear?” a lawyer asked.
“Yes,” Rizzo recalled.
“You could tell?”
“Yes. She was shaking uncontrollably.”
For those in Epstein’s world who haven’t been named, they’re far from in the clear. The documents today are only the first tranche of many more to come, not to mention evidence produced in Epstein’s criminal trial. “It’s all going to come out,” Giuffre’s lawyer David Boiestold me.

We found Jeffrey Epstein's social-media accounts. On Spotify, his tastes ranged from Louis C.K. to songs like 'Before You Accuse Me' and 'Hot for Teacher.' http://bit.ly/322KGqZ
Tumblr media
Business Insider found the sex offender Jeffrey Epstein's public accounts on social media and music-streaming services, including Pinterest, Twitter, and Spotify.
His tastes varied from Gospel music to Broadway show tunes to tracks by the disgraced comic Louis C.K. One of his playlists shares the name of the 24-year-old daughter of his ex-girlfriend. His Pinterest focused on home-design ideas.
Registered sex offenders are allowed to use social media, the Supreme Court ruled in 2017. New York, where Epstein had a home, requires offenders to report their social-media accounts, among other information, to its sex-offender registry.
Read more of Business Insider's reporting on Epstein.
Every now and then, Jeffrey Epstein offered a winking reference to the well-known allegations against him. After his jail stint in 2008, for example, the moneyed sex offender commissioned a mural depicting him in prison garb. "I had this painted," he told a visitor who encountered the mural at his Manhattan mansion, "because there is always the possibility that could be me again."
The contents of Epstein's public Spotify account, recently identified by Business Insider, gesture in a similar direction. They illustrate a wildly varied taste in music, from Beethoven to Elton John and Pitbull to Celine Dion. They also suggest a preference for hard-rock songs from the 1970s that emphasized male sexual conquest, as well as the odd song about sexual attraction between children and adults — Van Halen's "Hot for Teacher" and an Oscar Peterson performance of "My Heart Belongs to Daddy."
Meanwhile, a Pinterest page includes a painting of Peter Pan, the boy who never grows up and leads a young girl and her siblings out of their home.
Business Insider found three of Epstein's online accounts after reviewing his correspondence with the Florida probation officers who supervised his release in 2009 after serving 13 months in jail on charges that included soliciting a minor for prostitution. The correspondence indicates Epstein had an email address with the username "jeevacation" — a combination of his initials, J.E.E., and "vacation."
Business Insider found profiles with the same username on Twitter, Pinterest, and Spotify. The profiles on Twitter and Pinterest bear the name Jeffrey Epstein. The Spotify account lacks his full name, but his followers on the music platform include accounts that appear to belong to women in his social network.
A lawyer for Epstein, contacted before the jailed multimillionaire's suicide earlier this month, did not respond to a request for comment.
A 2017 Supreme Court ruling allows sex offenders to use social media, though individual platforms can bar individual users. New York, where Epstein had a townhouse, requires sex offenders to submit "internet information," including email addresses and social-media accounts, to the state sex-offender registry. That information isn't publicly available, but social-media companies with users under age 18 can request it.
On the playlists: 'Before You Accuse Me' and Louis C.K.
Epstein's Twitter presence was insignificant; he never tweeted or followed anyone. On Pinterest, he had one board with eight pins of home decorations, including a painting of Peter Pan.
See more: Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier, is facing sex-trafficking charges. Here's everything we know about what's going on, from his connections to legal battles.
Epstein's Spotify account was much more heavily used. It has 19 playlists created from 2011 to 2015. Two playlists, "paris flight" and "paris_return," appear to be named for trips to and from Paris, where Epstein owned an apartment and frequently traveled via private jet. "Paris flight" features several classic rock stalwarts like Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, The Who, and The Doors. "Paris_return," in contrast, is heavy on blues and jazz.
Other playlists focus on Elton John, classical music, Broadway tunes, the jazz artist Oscar Peterson, and the rapper Pitbull. Elsewhere, you can find Eric Clapton's "Before You Accuse Me"; the Christian singer Morris Chapman's "Falling in Love with Jesus"; Van Halen's "Hot for Teacher"; and the disgraced comic Louis C.K.'s album "Hilarious."
Peterson and his band took the top spot by number of songs on Epstein's playlists, at 188. Ludwig van Beethoven, with 130 songs, was the second artist by song count, followed by Celine Dion with 108. Behind them were Elton John, Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, the Beach Boys, David Guetta, Tchaikovsky, and the Beatles cover band The Yesteryears (including their recording of "Can't Buy Me Love").
See more: The famous connections of Jeffrey Epstein, the elite wealth manager charged with sex trafficking young girls
Another playlist, largely drawn from the catalog of Guetta, is called "celina" and was created in 2011. Epstein has been publicly linked to two women named Celina. One, Celina Midelfart, is a Norwegian businesswoman who dated Donald Trump. She was on Epstein's private plane several times in 1996 and 1997, according to flight records made public on Friday, but has not been publicly tied to him since then.
The other is Celina Dubin, 24, whom four sources described as Epstein's goddaughter. Her parents, Glenn and Eva Dubin, were longtime friends of Epstein; her mother dated him in the 1980s. (A representative for the family denied that Epstein was Celina's godfather.) The billionaire family flew on Epstein's planes many times between 1995 and 2005, according to flight logs that run up to 2008. After Epstein was released from jail in 2008, the family maintained ties with him, even inviting him to a large Thanksgiving dinner in 2009.
That same year, when Epstein wanted to contribute to Eva Dubin's breast-cancer organization, he understood that a public donation from a registered sex offender might not be welcome, Business Insider previously reported. She established a new nonprofit, called the Celina Dubin United Fund, to receive $50,000 from Epstein and donate to her and other medical organizations. The foundation was wound down in 2013. A source familiar with the matter said Celina Dubin was not aware of the arrangement.
One woman whom Epstein paid to give him erotic massages in the 2000s told Business Insider that Epstein had referred her to the Dubins as well, though she said the massage she gave the couple was not sexual in nature. A former employee for the couple said in recently unsealed deposition testimony that he spoke with a Swedish girl in the Dubins' kitchen who said she was 15 years old and had been asked for sex while working as Epstein's personal assistant and was threatened when she refused. (She didn't say who had asked for sex.) The former employee said the girl later worked for the Dubins as a nanny for several weeks.
Through a representative, the Dubins denied the former employee's claims: "Glenn and Eva Dubin are outraged by the allegations in the unsealed court records, which are demonstrably false and defamatory. The Dubins have flight records and other evidence that definitively disprove that any such events occurred."
The family now says that they regret their relationship with Epstein and that if they had known of the new allegations they would have cut all ties with him. They said they thought he had rehabilitated himself after jail and "deserved a second chance."
Epstein's other music interests seemed to include Phil Collins, Michael Jackson, and Mick Jagger, who appeared in his "black book," a list of contacts obtained by Gawker in 2015. Jackson is the only artist of the three to appear on Epstein's Spotify playlists.
With additional reporting by J.K. Trotter, Becky Peterson, and Angela Wang.

The Biggest Bombshells in Newly Unsealed Epstein Documents
Over 2,000 pages were released Friday about the notorious sex offender and his girlfriend, who is accused of procuring young girls for his abuse.
One of the biggest blows in the decade-plus case of Jeffrey Epstein came on Friday when a federal court unsealed documents from a lawsuit by one of Epstein’s accusers against his mysterious girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell. Virginia Giuffre accused Maxwell of procuring young girls for sexual abuse by Epstein and his powerful friends. (The two sides settled in 2017.) The more than 2,000 pages of documents provide the greatest details yet on allegations against Epstein, including eye-popping claims involving some of the world’s most famous men, allegations of sex slaves, and more.
Here are some of the major revelations:
Directed to Have Sex With World’s Most Powerful Men
Giuffre said in several depositions that Maxwell and Epstein trafficked her to powerful men for sex. In 2016, she said Maxwell specifically instructed her to serve former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, Britain’s Prince Andrew, wealthy financier Glenn Dubin, former Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell, modeling scout Jean-Luc Brunel, and scientist Marvin Minsky. She also says Maxwell and Epstein directed her to have sex with “another prince,” a "foreign president," a well-known prime minister" and the owner of a “large hotel chain.” None of the men named have been charged with a crime and all have denied inappropriate behavior. (...)
Epstein Used “Over 100” Girls and Sex Toys
Juan Alessi, Epstein’s former house manager, testified he saw “probably over 100” girls serve Epstein at his Palm Beach home over 10 years. After each encounter, Alessi said, he would clean up the home’s upstairs massage room. In multiple occasions, he said, he found “vibrators or sex toys” and put them in Maxwell’s closet because he “knew that’s where they kept” such items, along with a “shiny black costume.” Tony Figueroa, Giuffre’s ex-boyfriend, also testified Giuffre said she participated in threesomes with Maxwell and Epstein, usually involving “strap-ons.” He says that Maxwell also asked him to find girls for Epstein. Maxwell has denied anything sexual took place during Epstein’s massages. (...)
Dershowitz’s Name Suggested by Journalist
In 2011, Giuffre was working on her book proposal regarding Epstein when she received an email from journalist Sharon Churcher of the Mail on Sunday, a right-wing UK newspaper: “Don’t forget Alan Dershowitz, JE’s buddy and lawyer,” Churcher wrote. “Good name for your pitch as he repped Claus von Bulow and a movie was made about that case…. We all suspect Alan is a pedo and tho no proof on that, you probably met him when he was hanging out with JE.”
Dershowitz has long denied Giuffre’s allegations that he had sex with her. In the unsealed court documents, Giuffre once again claims that she had intercourse with Dershowitz at several of Epstein’s mansions, and says that she once gave him oral sex in the back of a limousine on the way to his house in Massachusetts while Epstein and another young woman watched. (...)
Swedish Girl Said She Was Held Hostage on Epstein’s Island
Rinaldo Rizzo, a former house manager for Epstein friends Glenn Dubin and Eva Andersson-Dubin, testified that a “distraught” 15-year-old girl told him in 2005 she was pressured to have sex on Epstein’s private island. The butler said the girl, who identified herself as Epstein’s personal assistant, refused and that Epstein’s assistant Sarah Kellen took her passport and phone away and gave them to Maxwell. “She says, ‘I’m not supposed to talk about this,’” he recalled. Maxwell has denied these allegations. (...)
Epstein Used “Human ATM Machine” to Pay Girls
Former house manager of the Palm Beach estate, Alfredo Rodriguez, called himself a “human ATM machine” tasked with paying out Epstein’s alleged victims. Girls would come by cab and he was “told to pay them cash” after they finished servicing Epstein and others. Epstein’s assistant Sarah Kellen would tell Rodriguez to call cabs to send the girls back, he testified. (...)
Feds Had Evidence of Child Pornography in Epstein’s Florida Mansion
Giuffre’s lawyers claimed that Maxwell kept photos of underage girls on her computers, and two of Epstein’s housekeepers also testified that they saw photos of young nude females on Maxwell’s devices. Detective Recarey also “found a collage of nude photos of young females in Epstein’s closet [in his Palm Beach mansion], and turned the photos over to the FBI and U.S. Attorneys’ office.” The lawyers also note that a police video disclosed through a FOIA request shows naked images of women throughout the Florida house, including a full nude of Giuffre.
The U.S. Attorney’s office declined to press serious charges against Epstein in 2007 and instead he pleaded guilty to two minor state prostitution charges.

THE ROBERT RAUSCHENBERG RETROSPECTIVE WILL BLOW YOUR MIND Miss Rosen for Crave Online
Born Milton Ernest Rauschenberg in Port Arthur, Texas, in 1925, Rauschenberg adopted the name “Bob.” But word has it that the art world, so enamored with his revolutionary approach and groundbreaking aesthetic, refused to address him so casually and simply re-named him “Robert.”
This anecdote perfectly encapsulates the chasm between Rauschenberg’s work and how it was received. The artist, sometimes called a “Neo Dadaist,” was inherently subversive. He observed, “Painting relates to both art and life. Neither can be made. (I try to act in the gap between the two.)”
This gap was one first illuminated in the work of Marcel Duchamp, who introduced a urinal to the art world and called it “Fountain,” literally taking the piss out of the self-important bourgeois notions of art. In 1961, Rauschenberg made his move when he was invited to submit a portrait of Iris Clert, that was to be included in an exhibition at her Paris gallery. In a truly unbothered move, he sent a telegram stating, “This is a portrait of Iris Clert if I say so.”

Service Insider combined flight manifests unsealed in court last year with signal data associated with Epstein’s jets, discovering a minimum of 1,914 journeys made by the airplane between 1995 and Epstein’s arrest on federal sex trafficking charges exactly one year earlier.
Passengers on Epstein’s jets were as distant as the upper crust contacts in his notorious little black book, and consisted of public figures from Donald Trump and Costs Clinton, to supermodel Naomi Campbell and astronaut John Glenn.

Between 1995 and his arrest on sex trafficking charges on July 6, 2019, Jeffrey Epstein jetsetted prolifically aboard his fleet of personal airplanes, typically in the company of celebs, statesmen, and women.
Business Insider has actually compiled, transcribed, and tabulated every known flight taken by the late sex felon’s jets– almost 2,000 in overall– and published them in searchable format for the first time.
Because Gawker first released an insufficient trove of Epstein’s flight logs in 2015, the financier predator’s private jets have been targets of prevalent interest, particularly the “Lolita Express,” a label given to Epstein’s Boeing 727 by Virgin Islands locals. In addition to the 727 airliner, public records show that Epstein likewise owned two high-end Gulfstream jets.
Last year, Organisation Insider evaluated the ADS-B signals, a kind of flight tracking data based on a network of receivers all over the world, connected with each Gulfstream and discovered that the airplanes had took a trip extravagantly prior to Epstein’s arrest– and made a strange two-day trip to Saudi Arabia on the eve of the 2016 governmental election.
Precisely one year after Epstein’s arrest by federal representatives at Teterboro Airport, and his subsequent death by suicide at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, much of the late sex trafficker’s criminal activities, and the degree to which co-conspirators were included, stay unknown.
See likewise: There are 1,510 people in Jeffrey Epstein’s little black book. Now you can browse them all for the very first time.
Business Insider’s database of flights includes all known flight records made by Epstein’s private jets, making up both flight manifests kept by the investor’s pilots and ADS-B information connected with Epstein’s airliners.

Flights deduced from ADS-B information begin on June 9, 2016, end with Epstein’s arrest on July 6, 2019, and do not include any info on who may have been aboard.
The data does not cover the duration in between August 8, 2013 and June 8, 2016, during which the location of Epstein’s aircraft stay unidentified. Spelling errors, where obvious, were remedied from the initial records, and illegible passengers were signified with enigma. Likewise, unclear flights with insufficient signal information were kept in mind in the database. Approximately 400 training, test, and simulator flights from the pilots’ logbooks were removed however are viewable in the initial files
Over the course of 1,914 flights, Epstein’s jets took a trip to every continent however Australia and Antarctica. Frequently, they flew in between areas where Epstein owned houses: New York, Palm Beach, the US Virgin Islands, Paris, and New Mexico.

SECRET DOCUMENTS UNSEALED
Jeffrey Epstein Accuser Names Powerful Men in Alleged Sex Ring

A young woman who says financier Jeffrey Epstein and socialite Ghislaine Maxwell kept her as a sex slave also accused a host of high-powered men of being involved in Epstein’s alleged sex-trafficking ring, according to court records unsealed Friday.
Virginia Giuffre, who says that Epstein and Maxwell trafficked her to powerful people for erotic massages and sex, claimed in depositions in 2016 that Maxwell directed her to have sex with former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, Britain’s Prince Andrew (whom she has accused before),  wealthy financier Glenn Dubin, former senator George Mitchell, now-deceased MIT scientist Marvin Minsky, and modeling agent Jean-Luc Brunel, as well as “another prince,” a "foreign president," a well-known prime minsiter" and the owner of a “large hotel chain” in France.
None of the men named in the deposition have been charged with a crime or even sued in civil court in connection with the Epstein case. The deposition represents accuser Giuffre’s allegations, and the court documents unsealed on Friday did not contain any corroboration or further details, though many documents remain sealed.
Brunel’s attorney Joe Titone declined to comment. Prince Andrew and Buckingham Palace have previously and vehemently denied Giuffre’s allegations. “Glenn and Eva Dubin are outraged by the allegations in the unsealed court records, which are demonstrably false and defamatory. The Dubins have flight records and other evidence that definitively disprove that any such events occurred," a spokesperson for the Dubin family told The Daily Beast on Friday.
A spokesperson for former Gov. Bill Richardson, Madeleine Mahony, told The Daily Beast on Friday,“These allegations and inferences are completely false. Governor Richardson has never even been contacted by any party regarding this lawsuit. To be clear, in Governor Richardson’s limited interactions with Mr. Epstein, he never saw him in the presence of young or underage girls. Governor Richardson has never been to Mr. Epstein’s residence in the Virgin Islands. Governor Richardson has never met Ms. Giuffre."
Mitchell said in a statement to The Daily Beast: “The allegation contained in the released documents is false ... I have never met, spoken with or had any contact with Ms. Giuffre.”
He added: “In my contacts with Mr. Epstein I never observed or suspected any inappropriate conduct with underage girls. I only learned of his actions when they were reported in the media related to his prosecution in Florida. We have had no further contact.”
The revelation comes after a federal appeals court ordered the release of the sealed documents in a lawsuit that Giuffre filed against Maxwell, the British publishing heiress whom Giuffre says was Epstein’s madam. Maxwell has rejected allegations that she has acted as a procurer for Epstein and denied she facilitated Prince Andrew's acts of sexual abuse and was Epstein’s madam.
Giuffre has long claimed that Epstein kept her as his underage “sex slave” and loaned her out to his famous friends including Prince Andrew and Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz.
(Dershowitz has repeatedly denied her accusations.) She says Maxwell recruited her into Epstein’s sordid world after spotting her at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach and offering her a chance to learn massage. At the time, Giuffre was only 16 years old.
Maxwell hit back at Giuffre and denied the allegations, prompting Giuffre to sue her for defamation. The suit was settled in 2017 on confidential terms.
On July 3, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit ordered the summary judgment materials in Giuffre’s 2015 lawsuit to be unsealed—with the first documents released to the public today.
