"Nyorori is the one of most ridiculous characters in the entire series. He is billed as The Smart Guy but he literally either does nothing or actively makes things worse, even in his own focus episodes. He has psychic powers, but only for floating slightly above the ground and moving gloves around to act as his hands. He dreams of flying. He nearly got everyone trapped in another world forever in their second ever mission. He unintentially committed plagiarism of a well known story. He's so full of himself that he uses his own name as a verbal tic, Nyorori. He's considered more useful in-universe for hanging out with than anything pertinent to the mission.  His image song is about him trying very hard to flirt with you. He's by far the most useless character. He's a fan favorite. He's Mugen's Best Snake Man." (Nyorori)

Ernő Nemecsek

The smallest member of the Paul Street Boys, he gets bullied, pushed around, and dies of pneumonia at the end of the book.

i've submitted/seen plenty of dsaf characters in other tournaments but never dee. which is sad. she deserves some recognition. the picture linked is her before her death as i think it's important to remember her as a little girl and not just as the puppet.  [additional propaganda 1]

Kirinda

Kirinda is a "space-time transmitting machine" in the shape of a giant kirin. His job is to take the main characters to Novel Worlds (worlds that contain every story, myth, or legend ever created by humans) so that they can figure out what's corrupting them, and then he comes in at the end of the episode to clean up by purifying the monster responsible. However, he is no ordinary giant robot. He is sentient and speaks to the titular Rangers (with the world's most hokey and out of date Kansai/Southern accent to boot) through a camera shaped like an eye, and is often the one explaining the story of the world the characters are going to visit, as well as choosing which characters are going by the way of a roulette... which may or may not be complete bullshit. You see, while his role is incredibly important, he is very irresponsible and is constantly just dropping the characters off in a haphazard, dangerous manner without finishing explanations, screwing around with the roulette just to see what will happen, teasing the other characters (or subjecting them to horrible puns) and generally being incredibly vague and unhelpful beyond the bare minimum job requirements. At the end of the day though, he does really like his job (so much that he gets very salty if his screen time is threatened), and when push comes to shove, will go above and beyond to make sure everybody is safe. Dream 18

There was an blue or red haired girl (might have been Okinu from GS Mikami.) We went to war with some other group, we battled through battleships. there were 3 large piranha plants, the final one had an extra appendage coming out of it's thorny vines. the final one also had more defined lips and was larger then the others. there was a guy who was kind of an asshole that I ended up getting to know.

I was sitting at the back of a line, there were a row of people parallel to us. We were watching a long showcase or something, there was a period of it dedicated to horses. over time more recognizable characters would sit at the back with us. There was a girl who came up on stage, she was blonde I think and held 2 whips or had ponytails that were fluffy and rainbow coloured Usako Tokugawa and Souffle would sit at the back with us. There was a guy who could turn into a duck and his cape became cursed. This would lead to the creation of something, It might have been a curse. There was a callback to the dream with the giant lipped piranha plant at the top of a waterfall. You had to use a power up to get up there, the bee suit was also available but wasn't to good for making it up there. The curse or Sibella became some sort of strange phenomenon that was a giant humanoid like Hi Max from Mega Man X6 that would create tons of explosive orange blocks.

Tart from Eto Rangers. And it’s not even close.

She was constantly bullied by her so called friends for being “fat” even though she wasn’t; she just loved food. Then the show wrote her arc involving her having to change her appearance drastically to be accepted, and she only really went with it because the meanness she dealt with stopped afterward. Also, her new appearance was just a normal ass anime girl look. So basically the show is telling her and viewers “change how you look and people will accept you!”

And THEN, randomly, the show gives her a potential love interest last episode and it was the character that bullied her often, and it’s not even like there was a whole episode building the potential love; there’s just one line exchanged and that’s it.

Also the setting itself is very garbage. I don’t want to delve too deep into it but the Eto Rangers has a main city built on a pole, and the pole contains all stories that were written since the beginning of time. And to keep the pole stable and the main city safe, they have to stop someone from destabilizing the pole. The villains are essentially doing this by attempting to change the endings of the stories within the pole and the Eto rangers’ job is to correct the stories.

First, I have no words about how nonsensical the setting is. Second, this means that the Eto Rangers has to keep the endings of stories canon, even the stories that have bad endings (like the og little mermaid story where the mermaid kills herself. In the story the mermaid becomes self aware of this and then learns she must give up her life to keep this pole stable, so she sacrifices herself to do it). And the ending has it so that the Eto Rangers themselves become a story within the pole but… how does that even happen?

I like Tart’s character a lot, but her arc should’ve ended with her learning to love herself despite what other so called friends may think of her. It seemed like that was where the plot was going (since at later points her staying in her other form often is brought up once or twice, not much after though) but that didn’t seem to be the case I guess. Also, the overall setting, as I just described, is just nonsensical and ludicrous. I’d love to just save her and plop her into some other fantasy setting, that’s for sure.

Bob Sparker

Bob is a guy who runs a gameshow called shock till you drop, where he straps people in an electric chair & increases the amount of electricity until the person gives up. He constantly shocks himself with the chair & seems to be able to withstand any amount of electricity. In fact, it seems to energize him, and he even stood on a lightning rod during a storm with the purpose of getting struck. Apparently (don't quote me on this) he was partially the inspiration for both Mettaton of Undertale and Spamton of Deltarune.
