“Lazy” Sunday breakfast (this is about to go onto a tray to eat in bed whilst we read) and I reflect on the past week and see what I could of done better or could not have controlled. At the moment it is about taking one day at a time and if it’s a bad day I have to forget about it and hope that the next day is better but one thing I can do is ensure I get enough nutrients to help my body fight. And No, carbs are not the enemy and in the right form and quantities provide essential macros and nutrients we need to assist with brain function and muscle and cell repair. This meal has a heart healthy full egg to get the benefits from the yolk (I can’t eat too many though cos of cholesterol), seeded rye toast and 1 large tablespoon (or 2 😉) of almond butter that contains essential fats. Even though some days I can barely get out of bed I am doing all I can to ensure I am fueling my body. Not all #supplements are created equal! For a vast majority of #supps, there is an ingredient, or a few, which are sought after. Make sure that a supplement lists the amount of the active ingredient(s)! In the case of #FishOil it's omega-3 fatty acids.
