NFL Legend Antonio Brown Endorses Trump For POTUS: ‘I’ve Seen Biden Sh*t Himself’
Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown has endorsed “cool guy” Donald Trump for president, while slamming Biden as a feeble and weak leader who “falls over, sh*ts on himself, and has teleprompters everywhere.”

Media/Information Literacy and the upcoming US Elections:
-anyone trying to convince you that Jill Stein is a worthwhile vote is a Russian bot, or someone so deeply married to their ideals that they are happily missing the forest for the trees
-anyone trying to convince you that one vote doesn’t matter is a Russian bot or a disinformation agent
-Jill Stein is most likely a Russian asset
-Trump cultists will tell you that he’s just a wacky guy and says shit he doesnt mean because he’s WACKY and anyone who takes him at his word is a dumbass. I don’t know if that’s just their propaganda approach or if they actually believe it, but when a POTUS candidate says he wants to turn the standing military against his domestic detractors, I believe him.
-the United States will support Israel regardless of POTUS as long as the State of Israel has a cooperative government the US can control. The status of the Southern Levant as a perpetual client state of the USAmerican Empire (and whichever post-modern empire succeeds it as global hegemon) won’t suddenly change if Jill Stein gets elected.
-Jill Stein has refused to denounce Assad and Putin as war criminals, and has been endorsed by former KKK grand wizard, David Duke
-most ~~mainstream media~~ is owned by the same five oligarchs. Oligarchs, whose wallets would benefit from a Trump Presidency. Research who owns the media you engage with, and read it critically.

re your tags on that last post, you could say he was...biden his time
BA DUMP TSHH.
I think that everyone, having gotten through the initial 24 hours of rage, fear, terror, confusion, anger, and frustration, is coming around to the idea that this was possibly a good thing and has undoubtedly given the Democratic ticket a much-needed jolt of energy. There are still all the very valid conversations to be had about the sway of a tiny group of billionaire donors, the media and Anonymous Democratic Sources bullying, the decision to torch Biden when they could so easily (so! easily!!!) have done it to Trump at any time and have clearly decided to go FULLY into the tank for him instead. This has many worrisome implications for democracy, and it's not something to be celebrated. All of that is still very much true.
However, now that we have had concrete evidence of the party immediately cohering around Kamala and the grassroots donors busting down the door to give her money, it may also turn out that this was a very wise political jiu-jitsu move by a very crafty political veteran like Biden. As the post I just reblogged pointed out, he did it AFTER the GOP convention, when the Republicans had already locked in (by any reasonable metric) a terrible, terrible ticket. It makes the Democrats look like the ones responsive to the American people demanding a younger and more mentally "with it" candidate (no matter how obvious the slurs about ageism were in regard to Biden when Trump is literally THREE YEARS YOUNGER and far more obviously scrambled). It opens all the excitement and historic firsts of Obama in 2008, it gives the perfect "Prosecutor vs. Felon" tagline that's really easy to run with and stick in people's minds, it is beautiful revenge for all Trump's horrible sexist behavior in 2016 (and really, his whole life) and it gives the Democrats the narrative, if they can FUCKING STICK TOGETHER AND STOP STABBING EACH OTHER IN THE BACK. Now we get to hear about Kamala's running mate, Kamala's plans, feel-good pieces about how she appeals to youth, women/people of color, etc. etc. ALL THAT IS GOOD.
I think/hope the DNC will now be a massive celebration of Biden, who after all came out of retirement when he was already old to take on Trump, beat him, deliver an incredibly successful presidency, and pass the torch on to Kamala. I saw some criticism of Obama yesterday for not endorsing her immediately, but what I read is that he/the other Democratic big beasts (Pelosi, Schumer, etc) want to be a uniting figure with an endorsement of the final candidate, if there was a contested primary beforehand. Thank fuck, it doesn't look like there will be, but it also means that they might wait until the DNC before openly endorsing her. Now, I am still angry at the Biden knifing that all these three were complicit in to some degree, BUT I also have no doubt that if/when Kamala is confirmed as the nominee, they will line up behind her to endorse her and her VP pick. I have seen Mark Kelly, Roy Cooper, etc as possible picks (since alas, she will probably have to pick a straight white man; Kelly would be replaced in the Senate by Democratic AZ governor Katie Hobbs; Cooper is term-limited as governor in NC and might help us target that state for a flip). But what is number one most important is that we support her and whoever she DOES choose. I have also heard that she is already in the process of vetting picks and this is exciting news.
I am thrilled to vote for a woman for POTUS the second time in a few years, I think she has a real shot at winning, and I am heartened by how the base has rallied to Kamala in 24 hours. Let's fucking go. As my new office decoration says:

For those who have somehow forgotten:
Biden is still the current US President for the next 5 months.
He is still committing genocide as we speak.
Congress members were giving standing ovations to Netanyahu today while Rashida Tlaib was there decked out in Palestinian garb to protest, while other "progressives" simply didn't attend, instead of using their voice to actually speak up directly in the face of modern day hitler like Rashida Tlaib, but what fucking ever.
Biden is still in office.
Biden is still committing genocide.
Do not stop the pressure.
Ramp it up to 110%.
Make it clear to Democrats that we will not be voting for ANY OF THEM in November if they don't stop with the genocide, they can't just replace Biden and act like he's uniquely the problem, not when most of them are applauding modern day fucking Hitler as he stands there to plead his case for more and more billions of weapons!
Kamala Harris is just as complicit in the Genocide as Joe Biden!
If she cared about Palestinians, she could have spoken up at ANY point til now and right now, including moving forward!
Scream it from the rooftops and social media!
Tank their polling numbers!
Make them terrified enough of losing votes they don't just pressure Biden to step down as they did because of the above tactics, but they ALSO need to immediately cease all fucking aid and weapons shipments to Israel and comply with international law!
Palestine will be free!
Keep the pressure on! Call and email all of your reps and demand that they comply with international law and arrest Benjamin Netanyahu for war crimes! Demand that they use their power to call for a ceasefire, or they will not get your vote!
If you are too cowardly and spineless that you cannot even pretend to withhold your vote as leverage against Democrats *to stop a Genocide*, if you try to leave some liberal bullshit on my post about "voting blue no matter what they do", "trump would be the same or worse", etc, you won't get a response, you'll just get blocked.
EDIT: August 21st, 2024: this goes double for Kamala Harris, btw. It doesn't matter how often she says "ceasefire" or "we care about civilians", if she's continuing to say that "we fully support Israel defending itself" and being part of the team that just this week, on August 13th 2024, signed yet another fucking 20 billion dollar arms deal to israel.
Killer Kamala Harris is just as complicit and enthusiastic about the genocide of Palestinians as Genocide Joe Biden. She is currently in office. She is currently in power. She is getting paid almost 200k dollars this year as VP and she's continuing to support Israel's genocide of Palestinians.
You can not be the Vice President, the second in command of the entire fucking nation, and not be complicit when your office agrees to send another 20 billion dollars in weapons to Israel.
If she cared, she would have spoken up long ago. She would be publicly against Biden.
Despite what "coconut-pilled" liberals would have you believe, the VP is not the slave of the POTUS and incapable of making any statements against their partner.
If Kamala Harris cared about Palestinians, she would actually be using her power as Vice President to get things done.
She is not some helpless woman left on the wayside with no power. She is the Vice President of the United States. She has plenty of political power, especially after Biden fully endorsed her.

“We need 3rd party candidates!”
Sure. The system needs adjustments and more options, it’s a good goal. Nobody is against this. Ranked choice voting is gaining ground, it’s a start.
A reality check on “3rd party” candidates running (or who were running) in the 2024 US POTUS election:
* Brain worms bear cub carcas guy (age: 70) who suspended his campaign and endorsed Trump after trying to pose as progressive.
* Trippy detached from reality racist comment maker (age: 72) who suspended then unsuspended her campaign and plans to save us all with Mystic Jesus.
* Refusal to run for down ticket who shows up every 4-8 years only to run for the highest office in the land anti-vaxxer (age: 74) backed by GOP, and is currently attacking a progressive who is outspoken, rolls up her sleeves, and works tirelessly, because apparently engaging with reality and trying to enact change from inside the system is considered evil now.
* Faux progressive whose name I can’t even remember now who was likely a No Labels spoiler or GOP spoiler there to enable a MAGA win.
Oh yeah and whatever happened to the No Labels campaign. They vanished. Gosh how effective.
It matters to understand not only that the US has a locked narrow system, but that few alt candidates for POTUS have a purpose other than to undermine the left POTUS candidate by siphoning votes so the far right can win.
If you want more change, pay attention to down ticket races, where there are often genuine and effective progressives running who could use some help. They’re the future powers. Change will happen. It already is, if you pay attention to congress and state legislature gains and news over time.
Voting is only one part of engaging. Yes it’s crucial. But this democracy isn’t self-running, it needs participation from people, actively engaging matters and makes a difference. If you’re sincere about wanting to make things better, stay informed, and take a closer look around, and engage with it. There are low-demanding things to do, even if it’s just an hour given here and there. Or if you can, donate to down ticket races.
The left will need the triumvirate of House, Senate, and Oval Office to hold off the harm of the far right AND enact active deeper changes. The Democrats have in fact enacted ample legislation that moves things in a better direction, a fact that gets often ignored, but for all the changes, there are good bills that die in congress because the far right blocks them and there is always more work to do.
Plus state legislature races are also even more important now to help create and maintain sanctuary states and keep the erosion of civil rights by the MAGA at bay, but it is important that they are stopped at the national level at the top of the ticket.
Hand-wringing that “but we need 3rd party candidates” won’t really do anything.

George Clooney is loving Taylor Swift‘s style. Following the pop star’s recent emphatic endorsement of Kamala Harris‘ presidential campaign, the actor praised her for getting involved in the 2024 election during a red carpet interview with the Associated Press Wednesday (Sept. 18).
“It was beautiful,” Clooney told the news agency at the Los Angeles premiere of new movie Wolfs, in which he stars opposite Brad Pitt. “What a beautiful thing to do.”
“She’s a real phenomenon right now,” he continued as Pitt, standing next to him, nodded. “It’s exciting to see all of these young people engaged in the national discourse. I think it’s exciting. I’m very excited to see her engaged.”
Clooney’s remarks come more than a week after Swift broke her silence on the election with a post-presidential debate Instagram post emphasizing her support of the Democratic ticket, calling Harris a “steady-handed, gifted leader” and a “warrior” for LGBTQ+ and women’s rights. She also called out Donald Trump’s campaign for circulating AI-generated images falsely painting her as a MAGA supporter.
The Gravity star is just the latest public figure to praise the 14-time Grammy winner for speaking out, with everyone from Stevie Nicks to Hillary Clinton also backing her up over the past week. But Swift’s post has also prompted backlash from conservatives, including Megyn Kelly, Lil Pump and Trump’s running mate, JD Vance.
Trump himself also hit back at Swift for endorsing his opponent, writing on Truth Social, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT.”
Clooney has been active throughout the 2024 election, at first endorsing President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign before penning a polarizing op-ed for The New York Times urging the POTUS to drop out of the race. Biden eventually did just that in July, endorsing his second-in-command for the role instead.

It's been a year filled with unusual events in American politics. Perhaps there's still room for one of these to take place…
Trump vomits Diet Coke® on a production assistant minutes before the start of his debate with Vice President Harris.
Melania and Barron Trump endorse the Libertarian candidate for POTUS.
Trump fires J.D. Vance as running mate and holds an accelerated Apprentice type competition for a replacement.
Taylor Swift formally endorses Kamala Harris and announces that she'll give a free concert in the swing state which shows the largest Democratic vote percentage. Swifties conduct massive voter registration drives in seven states.
A Category 3 hurricane makes a direct hit on Mar-a-Lago scattering much of its contents into the sea. Russian submarines search just outside US territorial waters for any nuclear documents Trump managed to withhold from the FBI.
With polls showing Trump getting fewer than 130 electoral votes days before Election Day, he hijacks his own campaign jet to Cuba and requests political asylum.

I reblog a lot of political posts on here so I guess it's only natural I'd make one myself at some point. Anyways... (*deep breath*)
While Genocide Joe absolutely deserve to have his approval ratings plummet for ongoing support of the IDF's brutal invasion of Gaza, I worry about what this means for the elections this year.
I worry about how many people realize that refusing to vote blue at all in November to protest a genocide could lead to another one in their own country over an angrier Trump.
Palestinian lives matter, do not get me wrong. Do not stop talking about Palestine. But we all know Trump's not going to fix it. He's going to endorse it.
Just like how he'll endorse America becoming its worst possible self at this point.
I don't know if it will get as bad as Gaza, but I know that I have a lot of friends who mean so much to me that could be put in serious danger if the government doubles down on rolling back basic human rights. Especially internet privacy and protection for queer people.
I know it's sickening to see another POTUS endorse another attack on an Arab country with all the horrific casualties it entails, but listen.
I watched the last one endorse turning the country into a living nightmare with influence still felt today, wondering if my friends--my only real friends at the time--would make it if he got another term.
It's not a perfect solution I know. But unless you guys are ready to storm the White House for different reasons this year, and you have a plan to keep this kind of scenario from ever happening again, you need to vote in the Democrat primaries and/or vote Democrat in the November elections.
And yes,
Palestine still matters.
But so does the trans community.
So does the gay community.
So does the ace community.
So does the black community.
So does America's own muslim and arab communities.
So does every community living in America under threat.

This article by Michael Goodwin is 💯🎯, especially in exposing the NYT's very flawed logic in supporting Kamala, the 3 main reasons why he is voting for DJT, and even in stating Trump's faults. I would suggest that this time around Trump would be an even better POTUS than he was in 2016, because he has JD Vance to act as his conscience and keep him in line, something M. Pence never had the desire or the nerve to do.

can’t help but notice gen padakecki manages to post about woman’s rights and that inspiring her to vote, yet somehow never once endorses Kamala
I wrote this almost exact thing to a mutual yesterday, non.
I get she's for women's rights...but it's...interesting that she hasn't yet literally said "I'm voting for Kamala." She talked about Texas and voting...shrewdly staying away from the POTUS election.
And we know it isn't because she doesn't want to influence anyone's vote. I truly believe she thinks she can walk the line between the fans who support Kamala and who support trump by not mentioning their names...and that's kind of shitty. She also posted a pic of her holding a sign with a caption about Roe v Wade and she shut the comments off on it...which is telling...she knows the shit she'll get from certain groups. I fin that cowardly. She doesn't impress me.

Hey @theluxepunk It's taken me a minute come back to this. LuxePunk was replying to this ask. I'm putting this in a new post because I feel like partisanship has blinded both sides to... so much. This isn't a dig at Luxe and if whether you agree or disagree, feel free to chime in, but do it nicely.
You're right, Luxe. Orange Man had a direct body count. People died under his presidency. But, Joe Biden, also, has a direct body count. 680K covid deaths compared to 400K under Orange Man. If the buck stops on the desk of one occupant of the Oval, it stops there for them all.
How many died in Afghanistan under Obama's watch? He 'accidentally' droned four Americans and killed nearly 1,000 civilians bombing the middle east. Obama's hands aren't clean. 43, Clinton, 41, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, Johnson, Kennedy, et al. They all have blood on their hands.
I can't agree with the statement that more will die under a second Orange Man term than under a second Biden term. Biden was a terrible choice in 2020, but as the party does, "it was his turn" and now we're now facing the real possibility of electing a POTUS who is clearly, publicly not in charge of his own mind, let alone our nuclear arsenal or economic policy. That's being done by a man 99% of people can't name. Regardless, Biden is a weakened, frail man, and we have enough history to draw upon to know the damage weak men cause. A weak man with dementia? Yikes.
Don't consider this an endorsement of Trump, it is not. But I'm not endorsing Biden either. At this point my vote is to exhume Grover Cleveland and prop him up in the Oval.

I feel like there's been a trend of people on the left and right being drawn to authoritarian desires. Like, an idea of the executive branch having this absolute authority to fix all the societal woes is appealing to extremists on both poles of the political spectrum, with the caveat being, of course, that it's an authoritarian who is benevolent, believes what *i* believe, that's the good dictator
so when a POTUS doesn't unilaterally fix all the problems, it becomes a complaint. But governing is consensus-building, which is necessarily a painful experience because no matter how morally certain you are, you cannot impose your will upon someone else without force. you can try to agree to do the things that you do agree on, and incremental change, the enemy of moral purists everywhere, is often how things get done in a system that by its design does not give singular authority to the executive (I realize a bunch of people who think this way probably grew up in the Bush Era and thus have some sort of Dick Cheney-like philosophy of executive power imprinted on their psyches like it's normal, but trust when I say that it was not normal, will never be normal, and it's deeply troubling how normal people below a certain age seem to think it is).
It makes me realize that part of Trump's appeal has not necessarily been about his ideology: he doesn't really have any ideology except for self-aggrandizing and self-preservation mingled with bigotry. But people crave the authoritarian bent he brings, a horrible thing to realize, really, because that should be what repulses people, but we live in strange times
when people speak online about politics in stark terms, they normally are implicitly endorsing "authoritarianism, but my flavor with my beliefs" which is a lovely fantasy, but the problem is that it probably won't be YOUR version of a dictatorship that happens.
and then you're stuck in a dictatorship

So my mom freaked out that Biden dropped out of the race cause she will legit want to move out of country if trump wins but I texted my girl groupchat and said my mom is freaking out Biden dropped and my friend responded being like it’s 4 months till election things will be fine this is good like I get that I don’t like Biden but like we all know it prob means trump may get the votes then unless we get a better loved democratic nomination like am I crazy?!
I mean yes and no?
I'm never going to predict the outcome of an election. I learned that in 2016. I can predict strategies and messaging and fundraising and evaluate what all of that might mean. What your friends are right about is that 4 months is a LONG time in the campaign world. What you're right about is that anything can impact anything and anything can happen.
Here are some things that might impact winning:
A candidate gets shot but not killed
A candidate drops out of the race
A candidate can draw a direct opposing message to the other
A candidate chooses a good or bad running mate
A candidate does well or badly in a debate
A candidate does something funny
A candidate does something and then everyone forgets about it
Basically, there is a lot of time and a lot of factors. Like the coconut thing is totally helping Kamala because memes are a really powerful political tool. But the bandage on the ear is weirdly helping Trump because of his cult of personality. Messaging for Kamala is on track to be "he's a felon and I'm basically a cop (but a good cop)."
One way that political people measure things is fundraising. It's not always foolproof but it's something. And Kamala raised over $81 million in one day, which is insane. She also has the entire bank account and campaign team from Biden at her disposal, and a crazy amount of important endorsements. She'll likely pick a running mate that is the most generic white man from the Midwest to make her more appealing to certain voters. She's typically a great debater.
She's also younger and can build up a younger coalition. She has more energy and is more exciting. She's starting fresh and not exhausted from years of campaigning already.
That being said, she is a black Indian woman, and there are plenty of people out there who will hate that. There are also plenty that love it. But statistically, actual voters who actually vote lean older, whiter, maler, richer. And those demographics are more likely to lean on the "hate" side of this.
Trump and Rs have spent years attacking someone who isn't even the candidate anymore, which is a huge waste of time of energy. But they are also able to fundraise off of this and can change their messaging. Trump doesn't usually make sense during debates, but the bar is SO low that if he's coherent at all it's seen as a win (see the debate episode of Parks and Rec). His running mate is also part of his cult of personality, so it doesn't actually broaden his appeal to regular Rs.
We also need to factor in RFK (ew). But if he's going to "steal" votes from anyone, it's going to be Trump. Crazy people are crazy people.
Also, I remember seeing some polling last week that put Kamala and Joe at about the same percentage compared to Trump.
The most important thing, as always, is to vote. And even if you live in a state where the electoral college makes it not really matter much, still vote. Because those down ballot races are usually MORE impactful than than President and Congress anyway. And people who run for POTUS and Congress have to start somewhere. Vote for good people for school board, city council, county supervisor, any municipal seat that exists.

Also Taylor is fucking funny :
- when Biden dropped out, 27 minutes later he announced his endorsement of Kamala
- Taylor posted her endorsement 27 minutes after the debate finished
- she DID take a swipe at Vance by singing it ‘childless cat lady’
— no, that’s not as tough as “we will vote you out in November!” But the statement she released about Vienna made me think she wouldn’t straight up endorse a candidate because of political threats and the far right literally have that conspiracy that Taylor and Travis are a gov psy op to get people to vote blue, and that they have been chosen to birth the next anti christ…. Like, there has to be some nut jobs making politically based threats when this shit is being shared across all social media platforms and not just 4chan or whatever.
- Kamala announced friendship bracelets to her store after the endorsement and walked off stage to The Man. This to me SCREAMS a coordinated effort tbh, and maybe that makes me delusional, but so many celeb endorsements are more virtue signalling or ‘fuck the other guy’ or ljke pink washing it “I’M VOTING A ✨WOMAN✨ FOR POTUS #GirlPower! 💅💪🏻💋”. They got maximum exposure from the endorsement by doing it now AND having “swiftie x Kamala” merch after the endorsement was posted. It was a perfect move imo
- I know Kamala has been leaning into pop culture with the brat stuff as well, but I feel like making friendship bracelets as merch without knowing 100% for sure they’d have Taylor’s endorsement would’ve been a v risky move and their campaign doesn’t seem that stupid, because FANS would talk about it online and spin their own narrative (just look at Charli and the RAVE CANDY bracelet photoshoot backlash)
- if she said ‘I’m voting for Kamala because… and I’m not voting for bigotry, racism, homophobia” she’d just make the right more mad or anyone on the fence mad because they’d be like ‘hey I think trump will make me rich, that doesn’t mean I’m a racist! I’ll definitely vote trump now!’ Because people are stupid and when they feel attacked that’s what they do *some people.
They’re my thoughts anyway lol. I wonder if she’ll have voter registration booths at the next USA eras shows?
I agree with you 100% and that point about undecided voters not needing to be told voting Trump makes them racist is SO important. Yes obviously bigots vote Trump. But Trump can’t win just on the bigots. He can win because a lot of people believe he’s better for the economy. They also feel like a lot of his policies are “common sense” and that’s borne out of ignorance rather than hate. Most of the transphobic arguments I’ve seen from that side are literally rooted in ignorance, not in like “trans people are [slur]”. They appeal to a lot of TERF arguments tbh. The thing is there’s an F in TERF. It’s fucked up and wrong but the people who believe that aren’t anti women and saying they are won’t like… change their minds.
