Power isn’t always about physical strength, it can be strength of will and strength of heart. When I say I see warriors in you, I am not talking about the warriors of old who fought to the death. I speak of warrior spirits — those who see light in the darkness, those who find a path when others have said their is no way. You can make a difference no matter your size or stature. You can be the difference the world needs to see just by being you! It’s very different to experience trauma, be it physical or mental, as a child than as an adult. The result manifests quite differently too. When you experience trauma as an adult there is no gap in understanding. The challenge lies with repressing/suppressing trauma. When you experience trauma in your formative years, your mind often can’t comprehend what’s happening to you. Making behavioural changes doesn’t change anything in the long term😬 ✨ Long term real changes are made by shifts in perspective because once we see something differently we rarely go back to the way we used to behave😅 ✨ I fall into the trap of looking for a behavioural change to make because we’re so used to it! We look up how to videos and have been conditioned to believe that solutions need to be actions but what if they weren’t?🤔 ✨ What if solutions were shifts in our mindset? Shifts in the way we see the world and our part to play in the events in our lives?
