the modern age is very scary to me because of the internet. employers go through your personal accounts and form some of their opinions based on your outside of work life on whether or not you're a viable candidate. they look through your personal profiles unrelated to work and use it to determine part of your viability based on that. that is very scary to me, not because i've done anything bad, but because i keep work and play very separate and i think they should remain separate.

“But China's social credit score” this is the USA. we have some of the harshest penalties for all civil infractions/crimes/deviant behavior.
Be serious for a second. We have a quarter of the world's prison population. We let our cops kill people we think are being morally “suspicious”. Like yeah, we treat people who do things we frown upon soooooo nicely over here. China's social credit score sounds so scary... :( Don't worry about me badgering this guy with a cop's club for loitering, by the way.
