Courtney yelling at Gwen for kissing Duncan, even though she only helped in the cheating...Courtney should probably re-direct this much anger onto Duncan mainly. Since he's the one who actually cheated on her rather than communicating in wanting to break up with her due to her bossiness and controlling nature....at least in relationships apparently.

for books, I tend to lean towards realistic fiction and nonfiction on all types. Though I do read magical realism too :D

for music, anything goes. I’m still feeling around but I’ve found I like a lot of indie pop

Well for books we are the same then. I adore nonfiction more than anything.

For nonfiction:

After reading “Devil in the White City”, I will read anything by Erik Lawson. I also highly enjoyed “In the Garden of Beasts” by him.

In keeping with murder, I am half way through “Savage Appetites” by Rachel Monroe and it has made some strange and fascinating connections to other books I’ve read (particularly in regards to the LaBianca-Tate Murders).

I just finished “The Warmth of Other Suns” by Isabel Wilkerson and would highly recommend it.

I just started “The Humanity Archive” by Jermaine Fowler and it has been a good read so far (though I’m not that far into it yet).

I could keep going for nonfiction but we’d be here all day lol

For fiction:

“Yellowface” by R.F. Kuang is one I was sold on by reading the words, “nail biting thriller about book publishing” haha

I recently finished “Vampires of El Norte” by Isabel Cañas which I enjoyed immensely plus it has some historical aspects (set around the Mexican-American War) alongside the horror and romance of it all.

“The Bullet Swallower” by Elizabeth Gonzalez Jameswas another recent one I enjoyed. It would give you that touch of magical realism in addition to historical fiction.

Pride and Prejudice

As for music I don’t listen to a ton beyond the old stuff. I mostly listen to classical and then Ella and Louis.
