there's something ever so off about the way Courtney's face is animated in the first couple episodes. I'm not sure how to describe it, it's like her features don't quite move along with her head quite right (and Courtney moves her head a lot when she speaks.)

Between that, her softer this-game-hasn't-broken-her-yet characterization, and how Emilie-Claire Barlow hadn't quite settled into the Courtney voice she would use for the rest of the show yet, on a rewatch it doesn't quite read as Courtney. It's like a pror-Courtney that needs some more sunlight and water to grow into actual Courtney

i think it would be funny if all of three of the characters voiced by emilie claire barlow were like. friends. (this could go for any characters that share voice actors!!)

Just the idea of two smart girls and their stupid pal who talks to trees wandering around is neat. And whenever they say something in unison it’s creepy and offputting but it’s okay because they’re just the bestest of friends!
