BRONYA AND HER VARIANTS - literal gamer legends wtf else do i have to say?? would be an absolute beast when playing honkai fall girls

SEELE AND VELIONA - veliona's just slightly better than seele, surprisingly both are great at the game (veliona CONSTANTLY uses seele's battlesuits and was very pleased that HoRB is a meta support)

RAIDEN MEI - doesnt play often but does try it out, she sort of enjoys it but only when kiana's involved (was very sad that co-op raids were removed)

FU HUA - only second to bronya (technically fourth if you count all her variants) and kiana's luck. terrible gacha luck (that last sentence is probably canon)

KIANA - got multiple s-ranks in a single 10 pull and was like 'is this good', pulls for fu hua and mei's accounts

KOSMA - pretty good at the game! feels insecure abt it, though

ELYSIA - plays the game just for collecting the outfits she thinks are pretty and a bit of the lore, probably does cosplays

MOBIUS - does not touch the game until griseo wanted to show her and got a bit addicted to the lore of part 2

KEVIN - used to play video games when he was in high school and would be a little familiar with it but is too busy being cryptic and secretive (working) to constantly play

Elysia was known to have the patience of a saint— Her kindness was said to have no bounds, and she was often put on a pedestal by others. In reality, this couldn’t be less true. No one person, could be that kind or patient all the time— Elysia knew that she wasn’t as kind as others made her out to be, nor was she as patient— Not really. Most of it was a front, something she did to help others feel more comfortable. In a world overrun by Honkai, true kindness was rare— There were only two people she could think of as truly kind. Eden, and then— You. Oh, how she adored you— As such, she found herself in her current predicament…

She could tell you were surprised by the attention you were receiving, given your awkward laughter, and attempt to divert the other person’s attention— She felt a rush satisfaction, seeing you spurn their attempts to flirt with you. You, after all, were her dearest— So long as she held her place in your heart, she would not accept anything less than your full devotion. Of course, she was fully devoted to you, as well. Oh, it was no secret that she was entirely enamoured with you, which was a huge factor in what made this little even so frustrating!!!

Did her kind demeanour, by any chance, make others think that she’d be okay with something like this? If that was the case, then she was more than willing to show how cold she could be, as well. Not to mention, this person—still trying garner your attention. Did they have no self control?! Not to mention, you were taken, by her!!! Yet— Yet they flirt with you in a place that she also works, knowing that she’s in a relationship with you, and you’re clearly uncomfortable, as well!!!

Elysia’s fists clenched as they reached for you, and she very briefly considered a small slip of her hand— It would be so easy, too, but she reserved such things for the Honkai. No matter how mad she may be, seeing this, yet that didn’t mean she couldn’t intervene in other ways…

“Dearest, I didn’t expect to see you here!!! I thought you had today off~!” Elysia chirped, bounding over to you with a cheerful smile on her face.

Her violet eyes were chilly, as they landed on the person next to you.

“Oh? I’m sorry to interrupt, but my partner and I made plans for this evening ~! Isn’t that right, darling?” She inquired, her tone as thick as honey and equally as sweet.

You, to your credit, nodded—

You were thankful for the interruption, although, a bit surprised at the obvious shift in your girlfriend’s demeanour. The other person stammered their apology, as Elysia steered you away, a hand clasped tightly around your shoulder—

When the two of you were out of earshot, she released her grip on your shoulder, and sucked in a deep breath.

You met her gaze, an apology forming on your lips, but she cut you off by pressing her lips against yours.

Your cheeks burned at the unexpected action, and she pulled away, with furrowed brows.

“You were uncomfortable, weren’t you?”

She asked, her tone hushed, and you nodded at her words. It was difficult, at times—

You were used to fighting monsters, not talking to other people…

“I was too…When I saw them pushing you like that…I was livid.”

She admitted, averting her gaze, her cheeks tinged a soft pink.

You swallowed at her words, taking her hand in yours, with a small smile.

“Next time, I promise you won’t need to save me.”

She nodded at your words, her eyes softening, and she squeezed your hand lightly.

“Even so, I’d like to be there regardless.”

You’d always been far too nice to others. Mobius had told you that a multitude of times, and she would continue to tell you that, until you stopped letting others walk all over you— It was an irritating habit of yours, yet equally endearing. You tried so very hard to do what was best for the people. She’d been like that too, once, but the Honkai were as strong as ever— Even for one such as herself, it seemed to be a pointless struggle. You were different, though. Your persistence inspired her, in some ways, and she found it easier to conduct her research in your presence. She appreciated your presence, but not so much the presence of others— Especially, particularly nasty pests who dared to encroach upon your quality time…

She watched the person’s sad attempts to flirt with you through narrowed eyes, waiting for the perfect moment to put an end to their pitiful display— Really, she’d been ever so clear that you were her muse, you were her favourite subject, and she hated it when others messed with anything that she’d deemed her own. Not to say, that you weren’t your own person— No, you were very unique, and Mobius wouldn’t have liked you nearly as much as she did, had you not been anything but yourself. She had very little patience for those with no sense of autonomy.

That being said, she also had very little patience for those without an ounce of self control— Such animalistic behaviour was better fitting of the Honkai, not her fellow human beings. The second that beast extended their hand towards you, she saw red, as she made her way over to intervene.

“[F/N], you were going to help me run a few tests, correct?”

She spoke, her tone of voice eerily calm, as she approached your location.

Her eyes landed on the person beside you, and she offered them a predatory smile.

“You’re welcome to join us, as I happen to be in need of a guinea pig.”

Mobius purred, and the person beside you shuddered, before hastily excusing themselves.

You glanced at Mobius, who offered you a playful smile, her eyes narrowed in delight.

She resembled a cat, who’d gotten a hold of a particularly plump mouse.

“Oh, come now. It was rather entertaining, was it not? Did you see them scurry off like that? They’d have made a wonderful guinea pig.”

You shook your head, an amusing smile on your lips. “Thanks for the extraction, Mobius.”

Mobius hummed, her eyes twinkling mirthfully, as she extended a hand for you to take.

“Of course, [F/N]. Still, you’re way too nice to these people, at times. I must ask, are you trying to make me jealous? If so, it’s working rather well for you.”

You took her hand, your cheeks flushed at her revelation, and you shook your head in vehement denial. “No, no—!!! Of course, not!! You’re—“

Mobius chuckled, her eyes glinting mischievously, and you frowned.

“You’re such a tease, Mobius.”

She pulled you closer to her, her fingers still tightly entwined with your own, and she brought her other hand up to cup your cheek.

“You’re one to talk, [F/N].” She murmured playfully, trailing her thumb over your lips.

You opened your mouth to protest, but she pressed her thumb down, a sly expression on her face. “Ah, ah— I’m not finished yet. You’ll still help me run those tests, correct?”

She spoke, removing her thumb from your lips.

You nodded, offering her a small smile.

“Of course, I did promise.”

Mobius smiled, her expression one of delight.

“Mm. Yes, you did, and I promised it would be fun this time… Well then, shall we?”

There was fun stuff like how Astarion would get painted daily, stare into the sun, have orgies! @wilteddreamsofbaldursgate brought up how Astarion would spend time sulking about Tav/Durge breaking up with them. All things I could totally see and had me rolling on the floor! 😂

Someone in the comments asked where all those daily paintings would go. And then everything fused together into my brain to create these doodles, haha!

She insisted on having tea with you, quite interested with the fact that you were an outlander not of this world or even of this universe.

You were only able to meet Ei, as the Shogun was out issuing a few decrees and speeches when you had arrived - mainly the ones to abolish the Sakoku Decree that remained since the Traveler had arrived.

You had brought some gifts, as you felt it was polite, and had heard word that Ei liked sweets. She especially enjoyed the dango that you had brought, and you silently promised to yourself to bring more if you ever had a chance.

Ei was incredibly polite and soft-spoken, at least when being compared the Shogun. You remembered the Inazuman questline, and it made you shudder to think actually having to live through that.

"Elysia... or... Elie. Can I call you that?"

Of course you agree, since how could you refuse her?

"It's strange. You're a being like the Traveler, yet you do not carry the essence of the stars, but the very universe itself. You are quite the interesting thing, and I'd like to get to know you more."

Needless to say, the two of you stayed up far into the night discussing hundreds of various topics. At first, Ei had some shogunate stand on guard at the doors and other entrances, but after a while she let them only guard the outside.

I guess you could say she had grown to trust you.

She almost acts like a kid around you, and you would've believed the farce if not for the extensive Sumeru storyline.

Nahida seems extra bubbly around you, occasionally holding your hand as she leads you through crowded places, like the Sumeru Marketplace or even at times, the Academia.

Through her, you've come to met quite a few of the key figures in Sumeru. Al Haitham, Tighnari, Cyno, Nilou, Dehya, Candace... even Collei, Dori, Faruzan, and Layla! While you are more acquainted with some more than few, you're glad to at least have been able to leave the impression on them.

The two of you decided to have a picnic after the drama in Sumeru died down a bit more, on the outskirts of Sumeru City. For someone so relatively young compared the the rest of the archons, she knows her fair share of stories, and she'll go on and on excitedly as she recites them to you.

Turns out she's actually a skilled arts and crafts maker! It makes you happy to see that she's embracing more of her... creative self after being stuck in the same place for so long.

Nahida teaches you how to make flower crowns out of various Sumeru specialties, like Sumeru roses or Kalapata lotuses! Her knowledge on Sumeru wildlife is an endless stream, which you figure makes sense, considering she is the archon of Dendro.

''Ellie! I have a gift for you." The small girl giggles, holding something behind her back. "But you have to close your eyes, okay?"

As you do so, you can hear her stand on her tippie-toes to reach and place something on your head.

"You can open your eyes now!" As you do, you spot that Nahida's now donning a crown made of delicately thread kalapata-lotuses, and as you glance up, you see that you're wearing one yourself, one made of Sumeru's violet roses.

"Hehe! Now we're matching!"

The first time you see him, it's at Angel Share. Surprisingly, he's not drinking, at least not yet, but instead playing away at his lyre with an otherworldly melody.

His fingerwork is perfectly precise, and you can't help but be entranced by his preformance.

You order a drink and take a seat at the nearest open table, watching and listening until Venti plays the last note on his lyre, which reverberates about the tavern like a reminiscent memory.

No one else in the bar seems to be sober enough to cheer, and it doesn't seem like the bartender cares, so you go up to him and personally give him a compliment, along with a fine bottle of dandelion wine you had bought just for the occasion.

He doesn't seem to be surprised when you tell him you know who he actually is, just grins and says, "Ehe, was it really that obvious?"

It doesn't take long for him to get absolutely wasted, but not before he's told you great deal about the history of Mondstadt and its people. He goes on and on when he gets to Vanessa, Mondstadt's hero like a proud parent before probably noticing your distant expression and changing the topic.

Turns out Venti knows more than he lets on. After a while into your conversation, his eyes light up as he questions, "You were looking for me, weren't you?"

Under his watchful gaze, you can't lie, nor were you planning to. As you tell him as much of your story in hushed undertones, at least as much as you'd like to share, Venti only nods understandingly and occasionally takes a sip or two of the wine you brought.

"I see... a person not of this..." He gestures a wobbly hand around the room. "Reality." You can tell he's going to black out sooner or later, but you try to keep him awake for as long as possible. Staring down at his flushed face and woozy expression, you have to hold back a good-natured giggle.

"Then let me ask you one question. Do you wish to go back?"

"Never."

"Good." And with that, he's out for the count, snoring on his tavern stool peacefully.

Zhongli was a busy man, you had concluded after trying to contact him several various times but only to be met by the a negative response each time.

One from Hu Tao - "Zhongli's currently down at the wharf, talking to some clients."

One from a fisherman on the dock - "That man? He's busy doing business in Northland Bank."

One from the kids on the street - "Mr. Zhongli is helping granny pick flowers!"

So when you finally get the chance to invite the distinguished man to Xinyue Kiosk, you do so with reckless abandon.

And, not surprisingly, he shows up. Zhongli is a man of his word, after all, considering he is, or used to be, the god of contracts.

After talking with him yourself, you could confirm just about every compliment you heard about him. He was level-headed, patient, understanding, and was shockingly wise.

Upon seeing you, he had given you a light bow, out of all things, before taking your hand and helping you to your chair. "Now then, the one from another universe, what do you inquire of me?

It had been a shock to see him treat you politely, considering you should've been the one to cater to him. "How could you tell?"

"It's... something in your eyes. People say eyes are the windows into the soul. Mine are filled with deep ombre colors, medals of my legacy and judgement. Yours..." The man paused, glancing up at you before continuing. "They are filled with a kaleidoscope of colorful hues, shades of sapphire, cerulean, ocean, amethyst, violet, lavender... it doesn't stop there, but I shan't bore you."

"Point being, your soul is untainted and brilliant, not one of this world." He gazed at you and smiled, his eyes twinkling. "Now then, shall I pour you some tea?"
