Anyways her game play is so fun and I’m hopping to get her hehe, and she’s sober all very ditsy and silly<<333 and I love ditsy and silly characters

By the way I fully caught up to the story now— chapter three was really good, damn. Love seeing Hi3 coming back to their roots (“no we can’t sacrifice you for the greater good, we love you”)

Songque sobbing and begging Baiji to hurry up because she was so scared of death, praying for someone to save her but refusing to move herself hhhhhhh

Poor Songque has the self-worth of a wet sock, she couldn’t even compute Baiji complimenting her character, bringing up multiple examples to deny it.

Entropy chasing Songque’s illusion was heartbreaking, they were all doing different things too, gave them a lot of life, genuinely great usage of the setting there…

Props to Thelema for professing that she chooses Songque’s free will over saving the world when she could barely move herself. Props to Sera for comforting her hivemind in death. Props to Baiji for having the balls to say he’d still doom them all trying to become god if he had a do-over. Duonigue’s betrayal of Perception was hilarious I kept turning and he kept yelping hahahaha.

And Lantern!! Lantern during the boss fight!!! Lantern yelling for Songque, begging, insisting that she could beat Perception, because Songque is the only one who’d choose the world over her own life…

Songque is everyone’s favorite failgirl and they love her so much

goddd im not normal about these two actually. this is a memory that, for the current entropy, is something she never actually experienced (because is the "her" from 2 loops ago the same person? what about 10? 50? how many times has she lived already?) but it is still true, and it will always be true. because senadina is indispensable even if she is not the key to saving langqiu, because she still would be entropy's "fated firefly" no matter what, because if entropy doesn't remember senadina then nobody else will, because nobody else can

ALSOOOO THIS PARALLEL. no matter which memories entropy visits- hers but not real, or real but not "hers"- there's one thing always missing, and that is time. time to be real friends without having to save the world, to eat local food and laugh with each other, to take a group picture, to finish all the plans they made together (whether it be a group of two or five). and it's a next time that entropy wants- a next time to see senadina

I started yet another new WIP instead of continuing the prior one (entropy x senadina) because i wanted to focus on just one figure, and i also really really really really really really really really really really like vita ^.^

I decided to go all-in on a new process for sketching (layering in values before drawing in detail) and honestly? It ROCKS. I can convey so much about the character’s appearance just by shadow and a few key lines, and in a fraction of the time it’d take if i drew out much of the detail first then tried to add value

It took just a bit over half an hour to get this much progress on the vita sketch, vs. the two hours of working on the Entropy + Sena sketches with not much more progress

It’d be even better if i used line more carefully in the start to better hint at lighting before blocking in major values, but its still a good start lol

I forgot about them 💀 That CG has a seagull and a scorpion too. Also Duonigue is dog-shaped to Martians so they have dogs too.

From the texts we know they also had cows, goats and unspecified small animals(Anecdote: Songque - Sweet Dream) and bobcats(Book: Langqiu Bedtime Stories 12)

BUT!!! Zebras don't habit in temperate climates which Langqiu has. So that's still no horses and my shitpost remains canon-compliant.

Some things I've noticed when I've looked at the tag for Senadina here is that people are really pushing Elysia clone allegations on her. Yes there's similarities. I actually believe some may be intentional as I have a couple thoughts on Elysia that could make theories on a connection. (Ely has some weird stuff I don't fully understand and like I wouldn't be shocked if she was actually related to Sena) But y'all are really pushing it in my opinion.

For me the big difference between how I feel and felt about both of these characters from meeting them and to now.

Elysia felt so shady at first. Like she was hiding so much and Mei was getting like crumbs every conversation and I was convinced she was going to be a twist villain because she just keeps changing the subject to flirting with Mei rather than explaining herself. I know better now that these vibes were most likely from a changed twist and she's actually sorta legit nice, but that doesn't cover how much she hides and diverts. It feels off. I'm still doing Elysian Realm chapters (but know kinda what happens from an old account) and the vibe of something being kept from me is still so strong.

Dream Senadina on the other hand was like "Hey! You wanna dance? Awesome! Okay here's how my world died, yours could also so here's these items, go find some friends and fix it. You're in charge now, bye!" Just elaborated honestly quite a lot at once to Dreamseeker/Entropy at once imo. Then you meet the playable Senadina and she jokes a bit about you dreaming of her but tbh unlike Elysia is more focused on her surroundings than DS/E and less shady because she just doesn't know what she could possibly hide and usually says whatever she's thinking anyway. She really gives puppy chasing butterfly vibes or kid in a candy store. In any twist there's something secret about her, it's probably just as much of a surprise to her too.

Mind you I haven't seen part 2 of the current story as it's not out till tomorrow for me. Could drop some nutty twist out of nowhere but I doubt it would go that far first stage of this new edition of the game.

I don't hate Elysia at all, I actually really like her. I've been kinda hoping March in star rail is either her or a Kiana counterpart. I just cannot shake how much she makes me feel like I'm being baited and I feel on edge a little. Not my favourite but like I still like her! (Sorry girlie, I'm a Pardofelis stan when it comes to realm characters) Sena just felt so much more easy to immediately trust and gives really fun silly goober (for that one person who complained about me using that word, it's a complement) vibes. Also I do play the game in the CN dub since I started my new account. I feel the CN dub makes them sound more different to eachother and JP sounds more similar to eachother so maybe that influenced some things.

I think really we can compare them but really if you pay attention there's still differences. Let's let our token Hoyoverse amnesiac exist a little longer before we decide who they are.

I'm trying my hardest to keep myself out of Nirvana because I think I'd curl up and die if I ever accidentially rank up since I very much doubt I have any chance to sustain myself there - at all

Plus the increase of 20 crystals (400 → 420 Crystals) that you get there isn't worth the suffering it causes in return

The fact that trying my damnest to stay outside of the Top 3 but to keep myself exactly between Rank / Placement 4 and 10 is also a hassle because it fully depends on the other score other people achieve whether this works out or not 😭
