The End of a Bromance Part 2

Ever the southern belle, Eliza Limehouse invites the group to a fox hunt at her family’s estate. And she decides to also invite Ashley Jacobs. Even though her first apology tour ended with disaster, she believes in second chances. Appearently Ashley deserves to be forgiven seven times, because it’s written in the Bible…

During the fox hunt and Eliza’s condescending description of the “gentlemen’s sport” I felt sick. It was good to know that this was a faux fox hunt, as they only hunted a false trail of a fox, because I find this activity totally barbaric. It’s a sport for assholes and animal cruelty.

But there was some awesome thing that happend during this event: Kathryn Dennis’ “Formation”-inspired outfit! Is it just me or did she look amazing? Again, I love how she plays with outfits and I don’t think that she looked ridiculous. I loved it!

And in walks the wicked witch from the east with her ridiculous entourage. And there’s not a single thing about Ashley that’s sincere. She’s not going on her apology tour because she wants to. She does it because she has to. I think she burned a lot of bridges with her actions last year and she has to restore her honor on a big platform. I think she hates the fact that she needs to apologize to Kathryn.

And what is her chance for redemption? Giving Patricia Altschul all of the blame. She claims that she was Kathryn’s biggest fan before Patricia got into her ear and head. But there’s only one that’s responsible for her actions last year and that’s herself.

But I can absolutely believe that Patricia stirrer the pot between Ashley and Kathryn. I think also she saw that Ashley was a bad bet that kept playing all her cards ridiculously wrong. So the best thing she could do was to disassociate herself from Ashley and Thomas Ravenel.

When Ashley claimed that she and Kathryn were speaking different languages during their conversation, she’s actually right. Because clearly she doesn’t understand simple english. Naomie Olindo told her earlier to stay away from Kathryn. And what does she do? View that as an opening, as she put it.

Good picks! I've liked Florence ever since I saw "Lady Macbeth" back in 2017. Same goes for Saoirse, which is funny, given how much I hate "Atonement." I'm also quite fond of Olivia Cooke ("Thoroughbreds," "Ready Player One") and Anya Taylor-Joy ("The Witch," "Thoroughbreds," "The Queen's Gambit"), but she hasn't really had any plum roles since "Gambit." Her role in "The Northman" was relatively small. Also quite fond of Eliza Scanlen and Emily Browning (who is over thirty but looks younger).

Of those three “new names” you mention Olivia Cooke I’ve really only seen in The Limehouse Golem and the Vanity Fair TV series but she was good (I have seen Ready Player One but I barely remember it), I’ve seen a bit more of Emily Browning in Sleeping Beauty (ha ha), A Series of Unfortunate Events, and Legend, but it’s Eliza Scanlen who really stands out for me although I’ve only seen her in Little Women and Babyteeth, but Babyteeth is such a great film it probably elevates her!

In 2014, Bravo added another reality TV show to its roster, Southern Charm. Fans quickly became fascinated by this unique way of life in Charleston, South Carolina, and the amount of privilege that came with the cast. The cast members have changed over the years but a few members have stayed the same: Shep Rose, Craig Conover, Whitney Sudler-Smith, and Cameran Eubanks (until season 7).

The future of Southern Charm is unknown after an explosive season 7 but fans can't get enough of the drama among this group of friends. In an interview, Shep Rose admitted that Bravo hasn't given the show the green light but fans are rooting for more. From new businesses to breakups to cast changes, which season of Southern Charm is the best of the best?

7 Season 6

The sixth season added two women as full-time cast members, Naomi Orlando (who has been a friend of the series due to her relationship with Craig) and Thomas's family friend, Eliza Limehouse.

In this season, Kathryn found it hard to deal with Thomas's recent arrest and being a single mother. Likewise, Cameran was also a new mom who was trying to juggle work life and home life. Austen was still in a toxic relationship with Madison and Shep welcomed a new addition to his family: his dog, Little Craig. Sadly, this season was lackluster.

6 Season 7

Season 7 was the most recent season of the series but it wasn't as impactful as previous seasons. Leva Bonaparte and John Pringle joined the cast and they solidified their part on the show's roster. But as instrumental as Leva was as the first woman of color on the show, the main storyline throughout the season was the relationship between Austen and Madison. The reunion proved that these two were better without each other as the cast split sides for who they supported. Meanwhile, viewers saw Kathryn in a healthy new relationship while Shep was the most mature he had ever been in a season.

5 Season 3

Season 3 was Whitney's last time as a full-time cast member. He went on to be a friend of the series since then to focus on other career opportunities. Chelsea Meissner made her first appearance in this season as a guest before joining the cast as a full-time member two seasons later.

In this season, Kathryn was pregnant with baby number two, and Landon realized she had romantic feelings for her best friend Shep. But things changed when it appeared that Thomas and Landon liked each other instead. Between Thomas not being ready for a second baby with a woman he's no longer romantically linked to and Landon pining for a man who will never settle down, there were better seasons.

4 Season 5

Cameran was always on the fence about having kids but by season five, she was preparing herself for baby. Austen and Craig, on the other hand, were not close to family life in the slightest after breaking up with Chelsea and Naomi.

Tensions continue to rise among exes when Kathryn tried befriending her baby daddy's new girlfriend, Ashley. Ashley, however, was not interested in becoming friends with her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend that he clearly was still attached to. The tension between Ashely and everyone could be felt through the TV.

3 Season 1

The first season of Southern Charm introduced viewers to Thomas Ravenel, Whitney Sudler-Smith, Craig Conover, Cameran Eubanks, Jenna King, and Shep Rose. Jenna King only lasted one season and is often forgotten but Kathryn Dennis was also a guest in this season. Right off the bat, Southern Charm gave viewers the drama they were looking for when a fresh-faced Kathryn was being wooed by most of the gentlemen and found herself pregnant after being with both Thomas and Shep on separate occasions. It was the start of it all.

2 Season 2

As juicy as season one was, season two had it beat. This season showed what life was like for Kathryn and Thomas as new parents and as they embark on a new endeavor as Thomas ran for the U.S. Senate. In the ninth episode, the real drama occurred when everyone let go of their inhibitions in Landon's hometown. Most fans can still picture a very drunk Kathryn yelling at Whitney on the deck before running off on the beach with Craig. By the end of the season, Shep and Craig tried to find love while Kathryn was last seen screaming "Thomas!" while running after Thomas outside a venue.

1 Season 4

Season four said goodbye to Landon but it said hello to Austen. Seeing the unique dynamic between Austen and Shep fed into Shep's idea of him being the main guy in the group. The two were friends but battled when it came to flirting with women, primarily Chelsea. While Chelsea entertained the idea of Shep at first, she fell for Austen. But as they got together, Naomie and Craig were falling apart and went to therapy to work things out. In short, season 4 was all about relationships.

Southern Charm’s Shep & Craig Take Action in Hurricane Relief

Southern Charm’s Shep Rose and Craig Conover are taking action in Hurricane Dorian relief. In the face of a monumental storm, the two friends are trying to encourage everyone to donate what they can to the very worthy cause.

Hurricane Dorian already killed several people after making landfall in the Bahamas as of Wednesday and was making its way toward the east coast of the United States. Hurricane Dorian slammed the Bahamas for over 36 hours, bringing floodwaters, deadly winds, and heavy rain. For the cast of Southern Charm, they were told by the National Hurricane Center that they were at high risk for the hurricane to pass through South Carolina and should take precautions immediately.

The tight cast had decided to band together to help those affected by Hurricane Dorian by doing what they can to raise money for the battered island as first reported by People. Frontmen, Shep Rose, and Craig Conover have both developed action plans that will benefit the victims of this historical hurricane. Rose made the decision to design two hats that would be embroidered with the national flag of the Bahamas and announced he would be donating all of the proceeds toward the fire and rescue teams in the country. Conover, who has made his mark on the sewing world, said he would donate one hundred percent of all the proceeds from his lobster pillow that was inspired by the tropical island, costing $58. Fans of the show will recall that Conover lived in the Bahamas last summer after his rough break up with his ex-girlfriend, Naomie Olindo. On Conover’s Instagram story, he announced that the pillow had sold out within a day and had raised $5,000 for the reality star's cause.

Other cast members are involved in the efforts as well. Eliza Limehouse, who joined the cast this season, donated all her sales from her Bahama Blue Snaffle Bit bracelet to a disaster relief program. She encouraged others to follow in the Southern Charm’s cast footsteps, saying the country was a beautiful place that will be rebuilt. The narrator of the show, Cameran Eubanks, also announced that she is currently working on a plan of her own to help out and acknowledged that her thoughts are with the people of the Bahamas. Even the grand dame of Charleston, Patricia Altschul, got in on the action and posted a picture of her son, Whitney Sudler-Smith, playing “Rock You Like a Hurricane” on the guitar.

While the historic town of Charleston is already experiencing flooding and power outages, the Charmers are trying to keep an upbeat attitude towards helping others affected by Hurricane Dorian. The cast hopes that by leading by example, fans will also take the initiative and create fundraising ideas of their own. While Southern Charm survived a cyclone of a season, fans are just hoping there will be a town to film in once the danger has passed.

Hot Feelings in Colorado

For a Norwegian who’s born with skiis on their feets, as they are saying here, it was hilarious to watch the southern belles learning to skii. Funniest was Eliza Limehouse’s boyfriend, which name I don’t remember nor care for, but he was hilarious when he went down the hill. I understand how Cameran Eubanks peed herself.

Kathryn Dennis’ skiing outfit was something else and I think it’s amazing that she has the balls to go through with it. She may have been looking ridiculous while skiing, but hey! Everybody knew where she was at anytime. Kathryn’s fashion sense is something that I enjoy watching on the show though. She certainly brings the action!

Watching this episode we saw a tiny awesome part of Madison LeCroy’s personality, with her snowboard skills and laidback attitude to Austen Kroll and the rest of the group. She has been villianized by Shep Rose and Craig Conover on this show and it’s hard to know what to think since there seems to be so many secrets in the south.

For instance Kathryn and Whitney Sudler-Smith! Why does he keeps denying that he slepped with Kathryn over the summer? It’s not that big of a deal really. But maybe Craig is onto something in his confessional when he says that Whitney feels that Kathryn is below his social status and she’s his dirty little secret.

Eliza Putman was born Elizabeth Beasley in Limehouse, London. She married Thomas Putman, a labourer from Middlesex, in 1853 and resided in Whitechapel.

Eliza emigrated with her family to Napier in 1874 on the Halcione. She was appointed the first matron of Waipukurau Hospital. Eliza received accolades, found in Parliamentary reports, for her excellent level of care and success in nursing patients to achieve low mortality rates.

Although she signed the petition as Eliza, on electoral rolls she was Elizabeth.

Eliza died in 1911, aged 79, and was buried at Waipukurau cemetery. Thomas was buried there in 1896 (aged 63).
