Revising for my geography exam on Wednesday 😴

Hey! If you didn’t know, I have an studygram! I get asked a lot how I edit my posts, so I thought I’d share with you the process! 

Step 1  Use natural lighting when taking your photos!! I use my phone (an iPhone 6) to take my photos. Because they’re for instagram, I have my camera set on “Square.” Then I just point and shoot!  So this is my last instagram post, unedited:

Step 2 I use three apps to edit my pictures, Snapseed, Afterlight and Instagram! 

On Snapseed: I use the “Brush” tool, and then exposure to lighten the picture overall and in other areas that are in shadows. 

On Afterlight:

I use the “Clarify” tool, to define some aspects of the photo. 

I use Afterlight’s Light Leak feature and play around with them until I find one I like. 

On Instagram:

I start by turning up the brightness to about 25-35

I pull up the structure a tiny amount, for more definition

I play around with the warmth feature, depending on the photo

And finally I use the highlight feature to add some more brightness 

And then it’s good to post!

28/7/16 | 22:35 Semester 2 is off to a rocky start - I’ve had some major doubts and fears for both the present and future and it’s starting to take it’s toll on me, but I’ll confront these issues eventually. Taking a positive look at this first week though, I’ve recently become absolutely obsessed with Hamilton since meeting one of my friends’s engineering friends and I swear I talk to him more than she does now about it and other musicals.
