Elisa the gardening researcher.

Before the War, Elisa worked as a researcher for a Bioengineering company. She was developing plant specimens for medicine and food, some of which were successful. Other research specialties included the biology of mimics and development of medical techniques. She was about to be asked to research a new specimen when she was told that a family member passed. Elisa then returned home to help sort for the funeral, Taking all of her specimens with her. She stayed in her childhood home and helped on the farm during that time. She talked to the strange man who lived in the barn and refused to show his face, always remaining in the shadows. Elisa was never called back to work after the funeral. She stayed and took over the farm, finding that people around her kept disappearing. Only leaving her and the Man, the mimic in the barn.

Elisa heard about polaroid from the mimic division, so she made him a sweater!

After receiving the gift, Polaroid wrote a note and passed it to Elisa.

[Thank you so much for the sweater, ma’am!]

[But if you don’t mind, I would like to ask you something: why do you show so much generosity toward me specifically? I’m just a regular cameraman, which I bet you can’t even identify me in the crowd. Just … why?

I had received a gift from my friend, with spices from your farm. Now I get the sweater from you.

But ma’am, you have a family of 7, and this is a war time with scarce resources, how do you still manage to show so much kindness toward someone you barely know about?]

[Also … it feels nice to have someone other than Sawmus who cares about me … like a parental figure.]

The sound of flapping wings alerts Chief as Clifflies into view and lands in front of him before handing him a card. "Mama told me to give this to you!," the young mimic chirps before taking off.

"Hello, you are cordially invited to the garden party that we have set up for our dear friends. We have food and drinks that have been prepared in advance for everyone by the children and I, please just bring yourselves and an appetite!" -Elisa

Chief's gaze follows the mimic as their figure slowly disappears into the distance, ripping the letter open at the same time, before glancing through the foliage around the station, looking right at a large, almost ominous, mountain close to the perimeter of the station's land plot. "Little bastard got lucky he wasn't out this time..." Chief mutters as he opens the card and reads it. He was genuinely surprised when he saw the person who wrote the letter. "Huh... guess the human isn't the only one left..." he mumbles, looking at the picture that came with the card. Chief looked back as Firehosewoman pointed to a spider on the front of Firehoseman's nozzle before she blasted the taller unit's head with some water. Firehoseman startles and let out a loud, high pitched sound that drew the attention of all the other nearby units. Before he could blast Firehosewoman back, Chief whistled loudly, getting everyone's attention. Chief held up the card, "How do y'all feel about attending a garden party?" he asked loudly. Brief silence followed before there were various loud clicks and nods of agreement from various units. "Then it's settled, we'll go on the given date. Okay? So behave." Chief says, his tone giving no room for argument as he stashes the card in the inner pocket of his firefighter turnout coat.

[ 🛸prev 🛸] The Doctor discovers a fursuit. Elisa is secretly a furry and has a couple of furry OCs, one of which she's made a fursuit head for. She would rather die than open up about her interests though so she'd rather keep everyone as far away as possible from her suit head.

"Hmm, well, I've been alone in the forest for as long as i can remember, nothing but me and the trees since the fall. i do sometimes make visits to the town but only if i'm bored or if i need food and can't find any, gets kinda quiet in the trees when the static gets too bad, then my hand starts itching. Its all good though! i found a good tree to sleep in and Greenie sometimes drops by too. Still need to work out how to talk to people without scaring them away though"

during her story, she does meet antonio after saving him from a vicious anaconda, and later meeting mirabel after she and antonio went out to look for elias, only for mirabel to accidentally headbutt elisa in the nose after elisa hung upside down from a tree to see what was going on without mirabel noticing her. the three of them end up bonding over their like for birds, and music. everything is good... until elisa starts to remember something

i'm looking forward to seeing eveyones OC's for this event!
