Oliver didn't react to the crashing sound, it definitely didn't process for them at all until a split second. Their eyes rested on the vase as they blinked a few times, "Oh so that's what it was." They trailed off, looking over to the lion. "Scar, hey! Oh uh no, nobody's eating anybody...unfortunately. Speaking of, have you seen Merlin anywhere? I can't seem to find him."

It's gonna take a bit for Oliver to realize the close call but nonetheless, what's important is finding Merlin. "Does this mean you care about me?" A cheeky smirk plastered across their face.

The vase fell to the ground, crashing just beside Oliver. Scar peered over, curious to see the result of his handiwork, only to grimace when he realised the close call he had avoided. If he moved, he might be able to get out of trouble for that... assuming Oliver hadn't heard the crash in the first place.

He swiftly rolled onto his paws and made his way down the stairs. Then, he glanced to the side, raising his eyebrows as though he hadn't expected to see Oliver there.

"You look somewhat troubled. Does this mean I'm allowed to eat someone?"

"Where did my sketchbook go?" Oliver huffed out in exasperation, already having checked their home. Their sketchbook wasn't at home. They were already running, to see if it was at any other places when they had their sketchbook out. "Come on!" They sounded on edge, genuinely trying to remember where they left their sketchbook.

"Right?! I just feel like we need to understand misunderstood characters more often, make them feel like they belong." Oliver agrees, shrugging. "I do prefer books with pictures so that way, I can get a better understanding of what I'm reading."

Unfortunately, they've been passing by in hopes to search for Merlin. Merlin is awfully fast most of the time. "Huh...where is he?" Oliver muttered under their breath, crossing their arms in which they're completely unaware of the falling vase.

Everything is peaceful in the Valley. The sun is shining, the breeze is pleasant, and the residents are going back and forth as they complete their daily routines.

Scar, however, has taken to sunbathing near the top steps of the plaza. There's a small stone vase with flowers beside him.

The vase has been batted off the side, doomed to plummet and crash on the path below.

... Hopefully no one was passing by on the lower level.

Oliver pushes their glasses up, "Oh hey, what can I do for you?" They questioned kindly, standing up from their crouching position after finishing some planting. It seems like their fingers were covered in dirt from the gardening and all.
