Rusty and Dinah’s dynamic is more akin to siblings but they ended up dating some of the same people so they’re in a polycule together now, still very platonic between them

The duos that aren’t dating are still very close, they all live together and later coparent kids together lol

It’s all honestly really wholesome and nice and in my opinion a nicer way to have things work out

I also kinda like Electra and Porter if people couldn’t tell already lmao

Honestly my favorite dynamics (and this is non ship wise) would have to be the freight trucks. They are soo fun to watch and their reactions to stuff around them are gold.

I also love how Slick, Porter, and Lumber actually act like a family. Like I get very happy when I see them pat Lumber on the back or hype him up while he plays the harmonica. Plus how they act around Rusty like he’s a part of their circle makes me feel things.

I especially love picking apart their relationship with HYDROGEN because it’s clear from the show they do not like him…and if the cast recording has any indication of how he truly feels about them then I suppose it’s justified lmao

I mean me personally I would not speak to my family if they were attacking me for the way I do things… (oh wait)

But sometimes I wonder if he genuinely wants to create a connection with them, he’s seen in the backgrounds watching as Rusty and the other freights chat. It gives me the vibes of disagreeing with your family members on certain things but secretly wishing in your heart that your relationship were different. (Sorry for that horrible explanation)

If so then why even insult the people you’re thinking of creating a connection with..by all accounts it doesn’t make sense.

in the taco bell au do people get possessive about making their s/o their food? i’m imagining that greaseball won’t let anyone but dinah make her drink, and she won’t let anyone touch dinah’s taco bell order, even if it’s WILDLY inconvenient and holds up proceedings massively

GB is like half embarrassed of her drink and the other half just knows Dinah makes it best. She practically hisses at the others when they try and make Dinah’s super hyperspecific order too, she MUST make the chicken dorito tacos lol

Slick will fight the others for Belle’s order, Lumber and Porter have finally realized it’s easier to just let her do it. She also always has to present the food to Belle lmao

Electra always insists on making Pearl and Rusty’s drinks for them because “They’re the most experienced barista there” (it’s actually just because they’re in love with them) and Rusty always jumps at the chance to make Electra or Pearl’s food, he isn’t aggressive enough to fight for it, but the others just let him bc he gets sad if they don’t

Hydra js about as annoying as Slick, he Has to make Tassita’s food, literally acts like he’s gonna die if they don’t let him. He has gotten down on one knee to present the tacos to him too (he got smacked but he was happy abt it, silly)

Lumber and Porter like to try and intercept partner orders just to piss their friends off, they know better than to do it to GB though bc she’ll probably throw them out a window

Belle won’t admit it but she’ll fight someone to make Slick’s drink even though it’s horrible in her opinion (3 extra espresso shots WHY), because well the annoying girl who orders it is kinda cute, and she Does always present her food to her like she’s a princess (aw)

On god hit us with your Porter X Electra yap I yearn for the yards most unexpected pair

I’ve rewritten this 5 times because I keep forgetting to save 😬 (sorry to the two people who asked)

-they are the definition of extreme PDA. Porter’s love language is words of affirmation and Electra’s love language is physical touch (ironic considering they can shock you)

-They are incredibly competitive with each other, which is only fueled by their constant need to keep up their act of confidence. Porter will never skip out on complimenting Electra when they’re out and Electra secretly eats this up. But they can’t let him know how much they like it so they fire back until it becomes a mini competition to see who can get the other to crack.

-Lumber and Slick are sick of this and the others are convinced they’re in a relationship (they’re not)

-The best part is when Porter figures out Electra likes him and now he’s determined to get Electra to ask him out… the problem is Electra figures out that Porter likes them, and now they’re determined to get Porter to ask them out instead of being coy.

-this goes on for so long that the freights and the components team up to set them up on a date so they can actually talk like normal people

-They’re not the best at communicating, but they can spot when the other has a problem. They’re trying to get through it as best they can, with the other giving them nothing but positivity once they open up fully.

-that’s actually how they break up in my au haha… I’d show it off more in Carrot but it’s more of a hydra and rusty centered story…

Lemme tell you though, when/if they break up they are still insufferable with each other. It’s just a never ending cycle with those two until someone is able to snap them out of it. They are incredibly bitter about what happened

-I feel like they could become healthy sometime in the future but they’d need to do some serious self reflection on what being winning actually means to them
