So I had an idea about stex where everything is the same except hydra is blind and then me and my friends kinda brain rotted to hard and I made art for it

I thought I should let the people on tumblr know I am in the process of writing a fic about the Wembley freights.

It’s called “freight-napped”

Betcha can’t guess what’s it’s about

The freights

Are taking a break

Fun Fact: Refrigerator cars, especially newer ones, have controls on the inside to monitor and regulate the temperature inside them to keep food cold.

That being said frost is usually pretty busy during the summer

Being a moveable ac of course.

Bonus: the freights totally don’t use this to their advantage

Posting this so I can come back later when I have motivation or if other people wanna make something with it. This is going off my vague memory of the roles and plot and stuff

So I don’t have a concrete idea for the plot but it could be either like momma, who is death, hosting various competitions

Or you keep the school plot line and the trains are all students there

The roles would be like

Meisters:

Rusty-sword meister

Greaseball- scythe meister

Electra- the meister that can master multiple weapons

Champion engines- various meisters

Pearl-sword

Belle- flail

Tassita- duel fans

Dinah- scythe

Lumber- Bo staff

Porter- axe

Slick- scythe

Hydra- greatsword

Volta- gun

Killerwatt- sword

Wrench- gauntlets

Joule- shield

I have parts of ideas like no one partnering with hydra because he’s to heavy to carry around

Electras weapons are the components that he switches out in the middle of battle

Slick has the ‘black blood’ insanity thing

Hydra: so while hydrogen as a fuel source was discovered in 1839. The hydrogen tanker, aka me, was made and used by the public officially in 2019-

Lumber: *tuned him out*

Slick: *internally screaming*

Porter: *calculating*

Porter: wait, so you’re 5 years old?

Hydra: …

Lumber: …

Slick:…

Hydra: wait that’s not what I-

Lumber: remember to eat you vegetables so you can grow up big and strong, like us older freights

Porter: they grow up so fast-

I remember when you were just a wee lad-

Hydra: ……

Slick: awww, is somebody cranky? Does someone need a nap???

Meet frost! She’s a freezer truck and part of the freight gang. Being a freezer truck means she carries produce and perishables. She also does not like racing and prefers to watch on the sidelines.

I have been busy and I have just been posting stuff I’ve been working on. Of course and can make more of the freights.

Also run away freight is the new name of the au that’s absolutely perfect.

And now you can hear me Infodump

Ok so I’ll infodump about the packs the freights wear since it’s the easiest

So the freights didn’t originally start out with the packs. They were never designed with them as the facility were in charge of distributing their fuel source. After they escaped porter and lumber got put out of commission for using to much fuel leaving hydra, who was running on half, and slick who had a full tank, to get them more fuel. The original idea for the pack was just for lumber as his fuel source wasn’t like the others.

While porter ran on coal, slick on oil, and hydra on hydrogen. Lumber never specifically ran on wood. Instead he ran off the energy of living things, his power was designed around taking the energy from living things and converting it to power for him to use. The process of using fuel basically aged the living thing to death. Hydra had a realization that any living thing could work and plants were alive, but normal plants were to small so wood was the next best option. The others fuels sources were easy enough to store but having a bunch of logs around wasn’t doing any favors. So hydra prototyped a pack to store wood in for lumber to carry around.

As the freights started being vigilantes more and more it was clear that they couldn’t easily run back to the tower every time they needed to refuel. So hydra finished the design for 4 identical packs to store extra fuel in. Finalized with the designs and colors of each freight. Each pack was made tailored to each freight to specifically store each of their fuel while still being easy to move around with.

I love adding details to little things for the characters I make so it was kinda a no brainer when it came to the packs. I’ll work on more stuff for the au I promise but for now enjoy this little tidbit.

(Also as just a tiny note I changed the little design for hydras little diamond. Instead of saying H2O I made it so it’s just the actual pictures of the electrons since it’s simpler)

This is my humble request to the people who write hydra fanfiction.

Could you write a story where before getting transferred to the wembley cast hydra goes through sum stuff before hand and instead of being a sensible boi and saying

“wow, these trains messed me up,”

he goes

“Wow, I’m the problem,”

Like being guilty over stuff he can’t control and thinking that when something goes wrong it’s his fault.

And so when he gets transferred he tries his best to keep his distance and not cause anyone any problems and the other trains are like

“Yes, we see you keeping your distance, the problem is, that is illegal,”

And so you have hydra just wanting to be left alone so he can’t cause problems and then you have the rest of the cast who want to drape a blanket over him and be like “it’s ok we got you fam”

You know?
