#when i was first coloring him in he was gonna be golden chinchilla colored but then i was like ehhh jonah magnus should be red/orange but #elias should be gray ...so i just desaturated what i already did instead of recoloring lol but #he is now supposed to be shaded silver lol #but thats why his coat pattern is on the darker side compared to what it *should* be #og elias bouchard coming from an important/roch family and while whole thing with thinking he just *deserves* stuff bc of his upbringing.#etc. -> he is purebred and matches the breed standards etc for a scottish fold of his color #obviously the eye color doesn't matter because. ahaha #i thought elias fit the Scottish fold vibes because: Scottish folds are known for looking sort of like owls and having intense eyes #and the cat body/face type (also present in british shorthairs) to me gives off sort of... unnasumming vibes?#like ahaha yes i am a boring boss who loves paperwork look at how unnasumming i am season 1-2 elias y'know #trying to think of what cat breed jonah would be. and also jon gerry etc you know all the other characters i like #would it be boring to have multiple british shorthairs #i mean..#Michael shelley/distortion is a laperm that's all I know #i didn't particularly care with the personality attributes associated with eliascat because it didn't need to fit his personality on account #of not being his original body. but i do try to keep in mind the best personality/look/etc. cat attributes as a whole for a character #also sometimes get obsessed with jt making historical and geographical sense but then it just limits me greatly to a point im not into it #so i don't care about specific breeds in that respect lol #tma #my art #elias bouchard #the magnus archives #some notes looking back(made it 2 hours ago but still looking back ok..) on it now are that i feel like elias would never choose this breed #for his next bodyhop because of the inherent health issues in scottish folds. I only feel like watching Monogatari this season. I started season 2 of Oshi no Ko as well, but I wasn't feeling it that much? I saw so much praise for the first episode, but I thought it was a little boring and random?? Maybe it gets better, maybe I was in the wrong mood to watch it, maybe I watched too much anime last season so now I need a break, maybe I have too much going on in general so I don't have the energy for anime right now, maybe Monogatari is SO GOOD I can't process anything else lmao (although I managed just fine with Hibike! Euphonium last season...)

Salutations, my name is Solace(she/they). I'm a trans poly demisexual with crippling adhd (ish language is a necessarily imprecise tool). This is my current main blog, with rather vague theming. It is my firmly held belief that people are interesting and the sorts of things they do and take joy in matter. Some of the many things that I enjoy: - Books, and other displacements of language. Seriously I like books if you want someone to read a book send it to me if i can find a copy I will almost certainly read it and share thoughts. -Fantasy, I of course appreciate the aesthetic and absolutely love me a good sword, but on a rather deeper level. I appreciate the impossible, the false, and the unreality that betrays the meaning in the world.

-Philosophy: tis what I'm off at college studying right now. I realize the word is rather broad. So to me philosophy is the systematized study of the indefinite. Some things perhaps all things can be understood in definite terms, a steam engine works on fairly well understood principles. Many things when systematized create fields of shared understanding built on the universal. Philosophy is the systematized study of things which cannot be made definite either because they are beyond the bounds of the current epistemic reach of science fields, or because they point towards matters that resist having a ground universal answer (it is incredibly rewarding to make a systematized study of one's personal duty towards others for instance, it is however unlikely that one would solve it so much as understand the question more) -Table Top Roleplaying Games: No seriously I'm in about 5-6 games right now on top of everything in life. When they where deciding the social culture activities they nailed it when making Ttrpg's. -Video Games: Quite a few of these are really good as well, some of my favorites are: Dark Souls 2, Cultist Simulator, Book of Hours, We Know the Devil, Heaven Will be Mine, Bullets Per Minute, Tale of the Immortal, Hero's Hour, and Space Station 13. -Martial Arts: I am grantedly limited in my actual participation of these, keep getting busy so I drop kickboxing and jiu jitsu classes. But violence is a fun activity and I'm a big fan of Hema and Larping. Which is good as I run the Larping club at college -Attention, feel free to send me asks, dm's mentions and such. Especially if its about something I like, but even if its just something you think is neat and want to talk about feel free to share! People are interesting and its always lovely seeing a person in their respective element.
