I really enjoy this week episode although I really wish Akira did ToQ Change. I’m surprised Right appears as well instead of voice only! Although it would have been cool if he did ToQ Change there were so much he could do…given the recent twitter/X post I found that he had only 2-3hours to do BOTH voice recording & film the scene. So yeah thank you for AT LEAST making an appearance. 😭

While I had half expect her to go in full work stern mode like in beginning in demanding tone but she was so soft & thoughtful towards him. (Even to bend down to his level to ask WAHHH 🫡 ) Especially when she had to (painfully) inform him he was under surveillance & she tried to fight for him 😭 (Yet Genba was so understanding that she started to feel guilty 🥲)

(I guess being around them she really start to grow on them but thank youuuu Shirabe-Sannnn)

Watching the two video where cast of BoonBoomger (including Atsuko (Shirabe)) are audition for a voice role (惑星大破壊大ミサイル Planet Destructive Missile) for the movie.

Definitely amusing by how the older cast group can hold back their laughter/amusement while younger cast struggle. (Especially there was one part Haruhi (Taiya) fell off his chair laughing when Yuki (Ishiro) voicing the character) Yeah they definitely have more experience but it still funny seeing their reactions to their co-stars performances 😁

The last part they are talking about wanting a spin-off especially one where there is no action or transformation just plain old them & their everyday lives.

I seriously don’t mind just seeing funny clip of what they do from morning to night hahaha 🤣 (I can imagine it but it be more funny with actual clips)

Trying to read as much as I can tonight from the King-Ohger Official Perfect Book so here are some notes:

The original pitch Omori-P gave to TakaMina didn't involve bugs at all, only a team of Kings. It only ended up having a bug motif because their conversation about how each King's country works which turned into connection to bugs.

TakaMina showed up to a production meeting with a 16-page pitch on what he wants to do for the show including character, settings, and overall plot.

The two did have ideas on connecting KingOh to previous sentai teams but scrapped it in favor of making KingOh being a standalone team.

The Kyoryuger episodes were done solely for the anniversary. The only reason they managed to make it work was because they already had plans on making Caucus Kabuto Castle a spaceship.

They didn't want to do KingDon at all because it would break the flow of how KingOh worked. But when they finally decided to do it, they had to discuss with Kato-D a lot and get his input as he's worked on Donbros.

Prince showing up in Episode 40 was a last-minute decision because Sakamoto and Kaneko already submitted the script for KingKyoryu V-Cine and they needed to make sure it'd make sense.

The two praised KingOh but most of their focus was on Kyoryuger which was why the V-Cine felt more like a Kyoryuger movie than a crossover movie.

Omori was probably the most level-headed of the Main 3. While working on the idol episode, everyone in the cast and crew including Sony PCL who gave them the LCD screen went crazy with production. Omori questioned their sanity as he believed they didn't have to go that far for a joke episode. (Yes, they did. KingOh needed the silly break)

Costume designs actually struggled a bit with the ranger suits. Because of the inclusion of armor and bug motif, they had to be extra careful to not make it like Rider. To make it more Sentai, they decided on having the visors be a big piece in the shape of the bugs. The proportions had to be skewed in order to make the visors work.

Kamakiri's is the only visor that faces the bug from the front rather than the back like the rest (also the only Main Shugod who faces to the side in the Soul). When it was decided KamakiriOhger was going to be female, they made sure the visor didn't look too sharp.

PapillonOhger being purple was a decision made by Toei.

They were made to be neither male or female when designing. When designing PapillonOhger, they went through 5 different shades of purple before settling on the final product.

The belt is the thinnest in history as its only use is to store the OhgerCalibur. They added the phone to the front even though the Kings never takes said Hotlines out while transformed.

The OhgerCaliburs were designed with the decision there weren't going to be any additions made to them. Most of the design struggles was how each switch was designed and used.

The King's Weapon was hard to design as it's a 5-way weapon that connects to the Calibur but they were happy it ended up working out.

No idea if I'll read more but these are very interesting to note.

I probably need to gather more facts & read more of the lore but I just come up weirder thought but I want more details about Shugods. Especially why they are Shugods Soul.

That I can’t help but think that 2,000 years ago the Shugods were like special insect creature that like had actual body with their soul intact that not mechanically like now?

Considering like they did join humanity against Bugnarak since they were eating them to gain power. Like they got to have some personality or something to actual make the decision to join the humanity right?

Considering isn’t Shugods Soul like inside an amber? Plus Dagded did have like head unit amber crystal & he did trap King inside one.

I can’t help but think does Dagded got anything to do with Shugods having Shugods Soul that is amber stone?

Like did he make their actual bodies into amber stone? Or remove their soul made them into amber stone?

Considering you need their soul in the cockpit to move? Since he also made Glodi who is filled with Shugods Soul inside of him.

Not to mention the Shugods are the one who sacrificed themselves in order to break his head unit amber crystal. Like it cancels out each other? (I could give reason why they still had their soul intact it almost like same reason how they made eternal life)

It almost like a fitting reason why they decided to sacrifice themselves because they know, what happens to them to be in this state and they wanted payback? I don’t know

While yes I wish Shugods has more background there were a lot going in the story so…this is my sudden take on them weeee

Weee I didn’t had plan to get Super Heroes Fest but I couldn’t resist special dvd 🥲 & I have no regrets!!!

Since I just love watching their interactions especially how this particular clip about Yuzuyan-San (Rita) why I am a fan of her 🤣

Basically they were given a question they or someone else is a King of what. So Yuzuyan-San say she is King of biological clock​ & they all decide to test it out.

(I recorded on my phone sorry laptop isn’t working to get better video out from it)

Taisei-San (Gira) try to say she was cheating because there is a clock in the room even So-San (Kaguragi) say so also 😂 Yuzuyan-San deny saying the light is blocking it.

However it was confirmed that there is no clock in the room at all. 😆

The way Yuzuyan-San just so happy over something like that is just too cute 😆 almost like a game she refuse to lose. 🤣

Somehow it just cool Yuzuyan-San able to tell the time since Rita is Saiban-Cho who definitely should be particular about timing 😂😅 Perfect Fit!
