In 2023: My Chemical Romance performed their 63rd show of the 2022-2023 Swarm tour in Meeanjin (Brisbane), Australia. At this show, an unreleased song (titled "Eagles" on the paper setlist) was performed for the 7th time ever, with new lyrics. Gerard Way wore a dark grey skirt suit and white shirt, and "Everything Under Control" was written on the drums. (🖤)

i feel like the north, with all its snowy and honorable knighthood and swordfighting themes did well in having characters like ozeca and zoey as a nod to the contrary (as well as the occasional camo print uniform suit) but IMO, it’s a cop out to simultaneously dilute zoey with 3000 other applesque and knight themes (current diamond arena) and give ozeca -0.8 seconds of screen time but i’m really not here to complain.

i just think that this wouldn’t be an issue if there was inspiration from the right places, because if you want to write a badass military lady you’re at a loss if you allude to everything else but ignore the soul of the contemporary military type, of which i believe to be the usaamerican WTF IS A KILOMETER tactical crayon eater and patriot gun slinger. i’m just saying if the north wants to acknowledge the existence of a modern military lets👏go👏all👏the👏way👏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

when i was a kid the church songs i gravitated twoards were definitely always the ones like "how great thou art" and "on eagle's wings" - basically anything that mentioned the natural world or a cool animal. songs of faith and tradition did nothing for me, amazing grace was a nothing song, the bread of life was a NOTHING song. but a voice crying out in the wilderness? oh?? say more

I am vindicated, crows are like a Russian tea house gathering, end of story. . . except for that time last summer when they behaved like parrots, it was 35 degrees and I had made the mistake of wearing a dark wind breaker as protection from the UV rays.. in the morning it was fine but on my walk back it was sweltering. Halfway back I kept repeating "it's so hott!" And as I passed a murder of crows, one was saying "hott! hott!!" I thought it was asking for water from me, so I went & poured some water into an upturned shovel ..but unless it lay sideways to drink it there is no way it had a drop. But it has wings! So why didn't it just fly to the lake? Again I assume it is much like magic, this is a no brainer to fly off if you're thirsty. Anyways, that day I read something by Chaim Bentorah about how animals [was it the donkey or a talking bird? can't remember] they do not have the same parts that allow for human speech, and is a sign GOD enabled it to in the moment.. totally uncanny.

I was like "yeah they can, I just heard one." The next day.. nada, no way, not even close. miracle

And tumblr was into crows the following day for some unknown reason debating about "are these adorable baby black crow or something else?" Which prompted me to look into it..

The chick shown above is actually from the Rail family (Rallidae), an ancient and secretive bird family that is only very distantly related to the crow family (Corvidae). In other words, not only is this little guy definitely not a crow, it’s not even close! So what does an actual baby crow look like?
