The elephant* in the room for this chapter is that in Baum's original book (and in pretty much every adaptation), Mombi and Jinjur team up. However, the changes I've already made to the story at this point kept them as separate antagonists. And yes, Jinjur is still an antagonist. You know the drill. Warp and weft of the narrative and all that. ----- *The Elephant not in the room is Kabumpo, because I'm not incorporating Ruth Plumly Thompson's books into my canon.

Testing out some color ideas for a future project – I’ve been wanting to try and do one of those very limited, punchy color schemes, like you sometimes see in old children’s book illustrations. I’m not sure I have the aesthetic restraint for it! I keep wanting to layer for more naturalistic colors :p it’s fun to play around with, though, and I’m sure I’ll hit a balance I like eventually.

DONKËË Some Shrek fanarts! I'm making a sketchbook zine compiling my shrek drawings to sell at cons, and I hadn't drawn the main three yet because?? I'm insane apparently??? So I threw these together! Also I MAY have watched Shrek 1 and 2 while drawing these, and I MAY have reignited the Shrek brainrot, whoopsie!

Wanted to try again at a fursona (love my other one, la Creatura, but they're a bit complicated!) Tried to keep it simple and soft, and boiled it down to two creatures I love: seals and donkeys! behold. my new fursona! a Sonkey! name wip??? I am amazed at how attached I am to them already! they are also very inspired by my favourite cuddly toy, Sweep! I love them a lot!!! uses any and all pronouns but defaults to they/them :3
