yoichi. 18. also aiming to be a professional soccer player. is on the team with meguru. equally as unhinged as meguru, just in a verbal manner instead of physical. current concerns are the national level and kira.

hyoma. 17. main rapper of the group. never intended on being an idol or actor until anri scouted him, which led to his sister and mother encouraging him to give it a go. all he wants to do is sing and perform the songs he loves, but is constantly dealing with dating rumours and accusations, as well as obsessive fans.

rin. 17. main vocalist, but can rap too. initially wanted to beat his brother as a soccer player, but switched to the music industry due to soccer consuming his life and his obsession with beating sae ruining his self esteem. still plays a lot of soccer and workouts out a lot.

nagi. 20. also a main vocalist. became an idol because he had a knack for it. all he wants is an income that lets him live comfortably, and one that he can achieve "easily" (compared to studying at uni).

reo. 19. main dancer. his father disapproved of pursuing music, but reo insisted because the status and fame of an idol can't be achieved with money and he wanted to earn something by himself as once. he's also studying business while consistently practicing for concerts.

something i don't see people talking about is the way hyperfixations come in like stages and cycles like it's not just "i'm obsessed with this thing" it's like. euphoria from finding something new and it brings you so much joy and then as that initial dopamine rush wears off you start to get more and more down and feel isolated as you start to realise that no one else cares about it as much as you do and you feel silly for being so into it and the thoughts become repetitive and boring so you get more and more depressed and lonely and then you inevitably lose the hyperfix which leaves you drifting feeling miserable and hopeless until you start the cycle again. idk if i explained this well or if other people will understand but it brings genuine phases of euphoria and straight up depression and this is why i get annoyed when neurotypicals use words like hyperfixation to describe like, an interest. bc it's not. just an interest it becomes who you are and when you lose it it's like losing yourself and you spend so much energy thinking about it that it interrupts your daily life and it's so fucking draining 👍

Ik i don't talk abt bnha much anymore (I tend to wait to binge read stuff anyway and do go thru phases of being obsessed then completely ignoring stuff for months to years until I remember I Like It, but admittedly I've lost interest with it a lil bit regardless) but like. I get baffled when ppl lump bnha in with 'crazy fandoms' or whatever. yeah its a big fandom and im SURE theres discourse the likes of which i could never imagine (I am very good at blocking and blacklisting tho lol) but. it was genuinely, for me, one of the MOST positive fandom experiences I've ever had! ppl were always very very nice to me and supportive and I used to get so many nice ppl leaving comments or sending asks, and it actually makes me a lil teary to think abt bc. I am a very shy person tbh! and I always kinda worried the type of content I posted wouldn't be received well, but it was always met with kindness, and even when ppl disagreed with me they'd stay polite and thank me for explaining why and it always stayed very civil? so its hard not for me to look back on it fondly.

like for whatever problems I have w the series or direction its taken my experience was OVERWHELMINGLY positive and idk if thats just because I was firmly in the villains stan camp or what but. very grateful for it idk I'm just rereading old reviews and getting very nostalgic and happy if I could make ppl happy with it bc it made me happy too ;w; ill always be fond of the lov and a lot of the characters anyway. I still care for them very much. whenever bnha ends u guys gotta lmk if they get happy endings bc if not I'll be glad to write a fix it fic 👍
