honestly i don't think sqq (jiu) would have minded the accusations of preferential treatment from yqy if they'd felt true. like as children he guarded the title of being yue qi's Favorite with teeth and claws. why shouldn't he be given preferential treatment? everyone ought to know just who qi-ge likes and trusts over everyone else. and for good fucking reason--who else here is watching out for qi-ge? as peak lords he's literally 2nd in command and chief tactician, if yqy values his word over yours, then its both what makes most sense and also what he deserves.
the thing is that to sqq, being accused of being favoured by yqy over others now just feels like a sick joke, because obviously (to him) that's not the fucking case. if he actually gave him preferential treatment you'd think he'd listen to what he has to fucking say, instead of believing what anyone else tells him about sqq. you'd think, if he was yqy's favorite, he wouldn't have left him to rot.
so i think, in a setting where they reconcile after becoming peak lords, that sqq would very much slap yqy's love for him in everyones faces as a kind of power move. a kind of, "oh, you thought that was favouritism? you havent seen yet what it looks like when qi-ge lets himself favour someone."

Anons are off because I'm done with people lying in my inbox, insulting me, and just piling on. I am one person who is trying to deal with hatred from multiple sides but those sending these messages see themselves as just one person throwing in their opinion because you can't see the other 15 messages I get insulting me for the same thing. I feel like I've been clear about my stance and why I function how I do in my small space online. If you find issue with how I function then please just unfollow me and leave me alone. I'll be offline for a while but I appreciate everyone who's sent me caring messages and things to consider a lot. I'm genuinely disappointed though, that this all comes from me saying I love my Jewish community and I hope they're doing okay- My first message directed at supporting other Jews I've made, after months of reaffirming my care for Palestine. WHAT THE FUCK#my original plan was to 1) work my way to the king and talk to him 2) doom myself and take everyone down with me 3) loop back to floor 3#so i can visit the observatory and scrounge for any lore. although since i got killed that run siffrin asked the king to kill him first#which was intereresting. but i decided to have all doors unlocked that time around so i can just get the starcrest and go#but for some reason it wasnt working so i went to get the keyknife since i was already there and completely forgot i already had it#from the previous loop and THATS what triggered it. Guy at my union meeting tonight got pissed off that the union endorsed Biden and made a motion that nobody be allowed to talk about politics at any of the meetings. His reasoning was that he didn't want the meetings to be derailed with long-winded discussions or fights about politics. He is the only person to have brought up politics the whole meeting, he got into a ten-minute fight with the business manager about it, and he was wearing a "Biden is a communist sell-out" t-shirt the whole time.
#the thing is he's a very smart guy in most aspects#just. VERY opinionated and with a couple huge blind spots#he's the guy whose favorite movie is A Bug's Life because he likes the message about all the little guys being stronger together#and who also hates socialism in all of its forms with a rabid fervor#he came up to me after the meeting and was like 'let me guess - you want to bite my head off'#(he used to be my teacher and we get along pretty well most of the time. also apparently my politics are pretty obvious)#bestie you dragged out this meeting while fearmongering about immigrants for ten minutes just as it was about to end#EVERYONE in this room wants to kill you rn
