More Vending Machine Foods! 🥪🍪🥤

Tired of candy and soda being your only options? Here's some more diversity for your vending machines.

@its-time-o-clock asked if I could share these and they kind of go with my exercise mat since I made them at the same time for my gym. I figured it would be useful to add sandwiches and chips to put in my hospital/clinic as well so Sims have more convenient food options.

There are 10 items to buy:

Drinks: Water, Juice, Sports Drink

Bars: Granola, Protein (you DON'T need my Quick Snacks mod for this)

Sandwiches: BLT, Egg Salad

Snacks: Chips, Trail Mix, Oreos

Some of the foods have effects, for example:

Juice and Oreos give you a sugar rush buff

Sports Drinks and Protein Bars give you an adrenaline buff.

Sports Drinks and Water help with fatigue after a workout

Sandwiches have a chance of giving nausea. Vegetarians will get nausea if they eat the BLT

Eating too many chips or Oreos or drinking too much juice will make your Sim gain weight.

Environmentally Conscious Sims will get a negative buff if they buy a bottled drink

Like normal vending machines, there's a chance that food will get stuck (5%). I reduced the chance of dying by the vending machine falling on you to 1% because what are the odds, but it's 5% if you slam it because that's rude!

I added my script to theATS3 vending machines. The Snowy Escape one has drinks and bars, the custom ATS one has sandwiches and snacks. I created two other scripts if you want all the items in one machine or just drinks:

You need to add the script before you create the vending machine so that it loads the correct foods/drinks.

The sports drink is converted from Somik&Severinka (I wish I played TS4, their foods look so amazing!), the cashew piece is from icemunmun's Baker Basket (my fave food mod!). Rest is from EA.

Daniel Ricciardo's Business Ventures- Primer?

I realized there's a lot of us who don't know all of Daniel's little business ventures that he's quietly been working on. So I've put this together- I too wanted to know if there was anything I had forgotten about. (I'm not sure if someone has done this before? I haven't seen it come across my dash.) Also good for fic purposes- I liberally used Blue Coast and DR3 Wines in one of my last stories

Blue Coast Brewing Co.

Started in 2017, its a brewery owned by Daniel Ricciardo, Jenson Button, Natalie Pinkham, Karen Minier Couthard, Tiffany Cromwell, Eugene Laverty, Thor Hushovd, Andreas Mikkelson, and Noah Wyle. They call themselves the Original Bluecoasters.

Their brews have won awards.

Ricciardo Kart

Started in 2015. They provide karts for 6 different categories.

Which goes hand in hand with the Daniel Ricciardo Series or DRS that kicked off in 2019.

The series runs for 8 weekends around the UK throughout the summer and they crown a champion at the end of the series.

DR3 Wines x St Hugo

I was surprised to find out that the first DR3xSt Hugo blend was from 2014. He'd said in an interview that he didn't want to just put his name on something- he wanted to be a part of the whole process.

Goods Way is a bar/speakeasy owned by Ben Lovett from Mumford & Sons and Lafayette is the live music venue attached to the bar. Lafayette is owned by both Daniel and Ben

Daniel has also spoken about being an executive producer on a potential 'Entourage' style F1 Hulu series. There was also talks about him acting- which I'm sure has since been tabled since he's back on the grid.

Outside of his ventures, he has a fair bit of personal sponsors; OKX, Optus, SeaDoo, GoPro, Beats by Dre, EA Sports and Thorne.

PowerMax on Resorts now count as a valid gym object by Dandelion Sprout

"Among the more infamous oversights that was done during EA's development of Sims 3 expansion packs, was that Showtime's PowerMax 50x120 chin bar was not counted by Island Paradise as a gym object that would improve resort ratings. With this gamemod, it now does. The Buy Mode values "Resort" and "ResortGym" have been added to the existing object's OBJD values, and the result is therefore not CC. PowerMax will show up in "Resort" > "All" (alongside its usual "Entertainment" > "Sports" listing), but will not show up in "Resort" > "Miscellaneous", due to the difficulty of adding a "FunctionSubCategoryFlags2" section to OBJD files that didn't already have such a section. ———Notes——— • I tried to do the same for other gym-esque objects, e.g. the driving range, WA's martial arts training dummy and board breaker, and AMB's sliding pole, but the game didn't make the "+" sign show up for any of those. • This gamemod was a side-effect of tests I did to see if it was possible to force Island Paradise to have more than 3 maintenance per resort (It refused to do so). • The one main image covers every aspect of what the mod does, as far as I can tell."

Welcome To Sims3City!

They say if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere! Celebrities can be found wandering the shops and giving impromptu performances all over Sims3City. There's live show venues everywhere and it's easy to see why they say this city runs on dreams yet never sleeps!

I found this absolutely gorgeous map: Waterfall Beauty and just had to use it to make my own city world save! This map did come with lots already designated so I filled it up with the best townhouses, apartments, and city life buildings I could find or make to make my own version of a mashup of Starlight Shores and Bridgeport.

INTERESTING CHARACTERS

Every sim comes to Sims3City to make it big! With a performance venue on nearly every corner, you're sure to see:

The Warflowers - These twins started a band and pulled some of their reluctant friends into it. They know once they got here to The City, they would make it!

Chloe and Bob Katt - always on the hustle to make people believe in magic again!

The Myth family is here, of course, living in the spookiest house!

Mirage Sable always seems able to make everyone else's wishes come true, hoping one day her only one will, too!

Candice and Arthur finally made it to The City when Candice got her book deal. Arthur is hoping to make it into the celebrity chef business...with a little help from his friend and now roommate, Derek. This new relationship has a lot of challenges being thrown its way, but this couple is determined to make it here and everywhere!

The Vireowing Fairy Sisters not only have beautiful voices, they love to bestow inner and outer beauty on all of those around them. That's perfect in a city that values beauty!

As with anywhere, crime can be overwhelming in the city but H & H Private detective family, Harmony and Henry, are on the case!

This city is ALIVE! Along with all EA rabbitholes, you will find:

CHIPS Casino - a big show venue where you can see the greatest performers and play all games

Across the street, you will find another live show venue - The Locker -

where you can see more live performances. After that, dance the night away at Bubbleworks -

and keep the party going with the late night crew over at The Afterlife Vampire Lounge!

Don't worry about ghosts, though. A recreation of the firestation from the movie, Ghostbusters, is right next door so we ain't afraid of no ghosts! Next to that firestation and hospital emergency center, you will find the Anachronistic Art Gallery and City Hall rabbithole, with some mysterious things to explore in the basement!

In the more affluent area of the city is where you will find the Affluence Golf Club rec park and Tee Off! Sports Bar and Grill -

and some sweet treats at The Big Cheese bakery and shops!

In the center of town, you will find lots of fun for the kids at The Wise Owl Library next to the Aquarium Science Center and the Bright Beginnings Daycare and School center -

Stop by and get some sweet treats at The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor

and then get rid of all of that excess energy at the Big Rock Climbing Centre Gym or The Pac Man Public Pool next to the stadium rabbithole!

Don't forget to visit the Surf's Up Wave Garden at the beach right across the street or the seasonal festival grounds!

Downtown, you can get those extra strings at the DownTown Music Store, play some games at the Laserberry Arcade, and then head over to the Stardust Diner for some drinks and good times!

If you go at certain times of the day to catch a movie at Serena's Community Cinema, you might be able to see some of today's biggest stars working on set! You can pick up whatever you need at the big Sims 3 Market nearby and marvel at all of the old historical residential buildings before you head over to the Double Rainbow Disco Club for more dancing!

For those sims with a more exclusive taste, Club 112 in the historical section is the perfect lounge!

There's The Remaude Coffee Emporium Coffeehouse and Elixir Of Life Coffeehouse and shops for more live venues and fun in Sims3City!

After all of that excitement, the city folks like to visit the Stone Troll Mill Fishing Pond to unwind and maybe catch some dinner if they're lucky!

I have all expansions, stuff packs, and store content so most of it is probably used in this save. If you do not have the item, the game should generate a similar item. The only expansion not used is PETS so I do not know how this save will run with pets, my apologies. THERE IS ZERO CUSTOM CONTENT IN THIS SAVE. Took a bit, but here we are; hope ya like it!

Lis stood in an exceedingly clean, blindingly white kitchen, stainless steel appliances gleaming in the soft morning sunlight. She shifted back and forth on the balls of her bare feet, trying to fight off the insidious chill sinking into her skin from the tile floor—also white, naturally. She begrudgingly glared at the shiny, silver espresso machine in front of her for a long moment, tracing her gaze over its many buttons, screens, and meters. Then she cast one last tired, wistful look at the classic drip machine off to the side. It was the only black appliance Tilda had in her kitchen—just for Lis.

Tilda had warned Lis last night that her preferred coffee hadn't come in yet—'shipment delays, darling; it's bound to happen eventually when you only order from a very select lab in Canada'—and Lis was fine with that, she really was. She wasn't one of those snobbish types who insisted on buying only the highest quality coffee beans sourced from a small, three-hundred-year-old farm in some lesser-known country of the world's remaining-but-steadily-dwindling coffee belt. All Lis wanted was her ethical, affordable, sustainable coffee. And a lab in Canada (creatively called EAS Coffee Lab) provided just that. But then shipping delays happened, so now here Lis was—awake first, unfortunately—being a good girlfriend and making coffee Tilda's way.

She knew how to do this—she was an engineer, for God's sake, she knew how to work a machine. Simple steps: Fill up the water tank (filtered, of course), pre-heat the water, grab the bag of fancy, specialty-grade beans from the aforementioned three-hundred-year-old farm, weigh out exactly 18 grams, grind extra finely, pop the single wall (not the double wall, even though this was a double shot) basket into the portafilter, tap the filter on the counter, tamp down the grounds, lock it into the machine and...

Why Tilda insisted on using a semi-automatic machine rather than a fully automatic one, Lis would never understand. (That was a lie; even she could admit there was a certain appeal in the ritual of it all, as opposed to dumping the grounds in and pressing a button). She supposed she should be grateful that Tilda hadn't gotten it in her head to buy a fully manual one—Lis didn't think she could handle waking up and pumping a damn lever just for her morning stim.

She should probably also be grateful that Tilda had programmed one of the buttons specifically for when Lis needed to use the machine—no fuss about measuring out the perfect amount of water or reaching the correct temperature or ensuring the OPV never exceeded 8 bars of pressure (Tilda's preference).

As Lis waited for the machine to do its job, she grabbed a carton of milk from the fridge, pouring enough into the little metal cup for each of them. She even used the thermostat to ensure she got the right temperature rather than eyeballing it. The process wasn't complex by any means—it just seemed an unnecessary amount of work for a cup of coffee.

But as Lis padded back to the bedroom with two cups in tow to find Tilda bleary-eyed but sporting a surprised smile, Lis guessed it was worth it.

"You made coffee?" Tilda asked as she sat up. Silk sheets slid down her nude frame like water, pooling in her lap and exposing her skin to the warm sunlight slanting through the blinds.

"You think I could get through the day without it?" Lis shot her a wry smirk as she sat down her own cup on the nightstand.

Tilda gave her a lazy smirk as she lifted the sheets for Lis to scoot in. "I suppose not," she murmured, turning away to stifle a yawn into her shoulder.

Lis leaned in to place a quick peck on the opposite shoulder, gingerly passing Tilda her cup once she had turned back to face Lis.

Tilda's eyes glimmered with warmth rivaling the morning sunlight, and a sleep-soft smile played at her lips as she lifted the mug up to her face. Closing her eyes, she took a slow, deep breath, shoulders curling forward to settle around the cradled cup. Steam wafted upward, carrying the scent to Lis' nose as well—she could admit it smelled way better than her usual coffee. Turning to grab her own cup, she took a sip that singed her tongue, shooting Tilda a rueful smile when she saw the other woman raise a brow at her impatience.

Tilda rolled her eyes as she leaned over, briefly pressing her face into the skin of Lis's neck, offering a quick kiss. "Thank you for the coffee, love," she murmured, still not quite awake.

"You're welcome," Lis said softly, careful to blow before she took another sip.

Lore:

There are 5 sections of the world: The Seven Families, Supernatural Happenings, Out on the Town, Uni Side, & The Residentials.

The Seven Families: Where the seven richest, most prominent families live. For their ancestors' deeds in the past, each family is cursed with one of the seven deadly sins. Every generation cannot escape their most vile traits. Because of their low profile, the townies do not know of their curse. And they like to keep it that way.

Supernatural Happenings: The old monsters that cursed the seven families still watch over their suffering from nearby. No one knows who they are. Unusual events often happen here. Yet, many townies are content to stick their heads in the sand no matter what.

Out on the Town: One side of town has all the hangouts, restaurants, clubs and bars.

Uni Side: This where you'll find more traditional lots. This family friendly area has a technical college, fraternity, and sorority.

The Residentials: The largest are on the map. Includes an Off-campus housing community, apartment buildings, and a nursing home.

Note: "Daiku Life" in the Out on the Town area is the criminal warehouse. Unfortunately, EA combines the movie theatre I used with that career. Just ignore the prebuilt one and use Daiku Life instead. There are two fire stations. Feel free to delete the one farthest from you…or if you're feeling chaotic, the closest.

Known Issues: -There are lines around the ocean of the world (This is possibly due to an improper terrain import and can be ignored, as it doesn't affect gameplay. It also shows up for other custom worlds, so it could just be my pc, or something else. Just keep it in mind.

-Some lots went through several versions of the map and therefore the terrain is not completely even. Most lots do not have this issue. However, if you choose to build, make sure the lot is leveled first.

-Sometimes the house icons won't show when you move in households. It does not mean they aren't available. Most of the available households are apartments & trailers. Hovering the mouse under the house will highlight the ones available.

First, I want to apologize for the amount of custom content I used. I use limited amounts of cc, plus my own. I never thought the list would get this long. I just built as I wanted and thought my ity-bity cc wouldn't amount to much. This is why I recommend users that have most/all EA premium content. I used Blam, which playtests well in game for me. I did include some of my unreleased cc in this world. This my first world, and I feel kind of proud that I managed to finish. While I enjoyed making this world the first few months, three restarts, one total loss, lots vanishing, CAW crashing, and countless other issues later, I am so glad to be done with it. This is technically still beta, but for now, consider it finished. I will never make another large world again. If you encounter odd glitches, shoot me a message in my inbox. Otherwise....

The Sims 2 Nightlife Q&A - Exploring and Living Downtown

Senior producer Tim LeTourneau is back once again to fill us in on the latest details of the expansion pack.

EA announced earlier this week that The Sims 2 Nightlife, the second expansion pack for last year's hit game, has gone gold. This means that development on Nightlife has finished, and it's now on its way through manufacturing before arriving at a store near you later this month. Nightlife promises to be a huge expansion for The Sims 2, because it adds a gigantic new downtown area to explore, not to mention lots of new content, ranging from objects, fashions, character interactions, and more. There are even cars and vampires added to the core game. So in our final Nightlife Q&A, we once again turned to Tim LeTourneau, the longtime producer of The Sims and The Sims 2.

It's not really a party unless it's a karaoke party.

GameSpot: How are the downtown areas delineated in Nightlife? Are they integrated into the existing neighborhoods, or are they all set on a separate screen, much like the college campuses in The Sims 2 University?

Tim LeTourneau: Downtown is a whole new neighborhood (just like the campuses in The Sims 2 University). What's really cool is we have added the ability to set neighborhoods to nighttime, which kind of goes with the whole theme of the pack. So when you see our downtown you see searchlights combing the sky in a dramatic cityscape. I think players are really going to be surprised when they see it.

GS: Will the current neighborhoods in The Sims 2 (Strangetown, Veronaville, and so on) have their own custom downtown areas? Will you be able to "share" a downtown area with different cities?

TL: Each neighborhood has its own downtown. Now the players can either create a downtown using the template we provide, or if they prefer, they can build one from scratch. Sims can also move to the downtown as well, so if you prefer to tell the story of your sims living a more metropolitan life, you can.

GS: How many different "plots" are there in a typical downtown that you can develop? Is there enough room to create a diverse downtown, with clubs, bars, restaurants, bowling alleys, and more?

TL: Well the downtown that we provide has over 20 different lots that sims can visit, with all the variety you can think of--restaurants, bars, bowling alleys, diners, poker clubs, etc. Players will definitely find their favorite hangouts, or make their own and add them to the list.

Deep down, every sim is a party animal.

GS: Speaking of bars, restaurants, and bowling alleys, what other sorts of downtown locales are possible?

TL: There are karaoke lounges, nightclubs, card rooms, and, my personal favorite, there is even a cemetery--a great place for dates with vampires. And as I said, you can combine any of the different locales, so the possibilities are only limited by the player's imagination.

GS: How much will a car cost? Does owning a car actually save a lot of time, or is it more a prestige thing for your sim?

You must be one with the bowling ball.

TL: They range in price from the introductory hatchback all the way to the sports car. Having played a lot now, I can honestly say that a car has become an essential purchase with my starting funds. They save so much time in a career, because they give you an extra hour to get to work. But they are also so convenient for going out, as there's no need to waste time waiting for the cab. The prestige part is just a bonus.

GS: How many different car models do you expect in Nightlife? And will mod makers be able to create custom car designs, like they create custom objects?

TL: There are five cars that are shipping with the pack (with a great variety of design modes). We also have another one available for download if you preorder. I'm sure the modders will figure out how to expand that number greatly.

GS: Let's go back in time a bit. When did the development of Nightlife begin? Were the first initial expansion packs plotted out before The Sims 2 shipped?

TL: We have talked about a lot of different expansion pack ideas. Probably any pack we would ever do has crossed our mind at some point by now. About halfway through The Sims 2 University, we thought about what we'd like to see The Sims do next. The community experience wasn't everything we thought it should be in the base game and we wanted to add more of a reason for sims to get out of the house. That's really how The Sims 2 Nightlife took shape. Of course, our memories of The Sims Hot Date also had some influence on this decision, too.

GS: Is there a list of potential expansion ideas floating around somewhere at Maxis, and how does an idea move to the top of the list?

TL: There's definitely a list, but that doesn't mean that any of the things on there will gel into an actual pack. As I said, a lot of ideas are floating around in our heads. We really rely on what the community of players is asking to be able to do as well--they are our greatest influence. We couple their requests with our own creative juices and ultimately settle on a pack concept that we think will be the right thing to do next. You'd think after all these years it would be more scientific, but the reality is that The Sims is a game that is made from the heart. We can feel it when we've made the right choice when the whole team embraces the concept and makes it their own.

They aren't kidding when they say poker is everywhere nowadays.

GS: And finally, any hints as to what's next for The Sims 2? There are the console and handheld versions coming out, but what about future expansions for the PC version?

TL: Players will know what the next expansion pack is soon enough. For now, you'll just have to wait!

The Nights by Avicii

Fun Fact: “The Nights” by Avicii is an ode to good fun and also to the singer’s father. The “pirate-y fight” (as described by the writer Nicholas Furlong) sound to the song was inspired by the bars in Ireland, where they play folk music which is upbeat and easy to dance (and drink) to. This song is also Avicii’s contribution to the soundtrack of EA Sports‘ FIFA 15.

Amelia was drunk. 

Obviously, if you asked her, she’d probably tell you she was fine. Or, at a push, she might settle for tipsy. You know, like a liar. The fact of the matter was, Amelia Barton used to be one of the finest athletes of her generation. For four years straight she had qualified as one of the Top Ten fastest women of all time in the 400m, had managed to to beat 6-time gold medalist swimmer Emma McKeon in the 200m freestyle, and had qualified to compete for team USA in multiple competitive categories. In short, Amelia Barton was a bit of an athletic prodigy, had excelled at every sport she’d ever tried, and had a sense of balance that could rival that of a world-class tight rope walker, and right now she was wobbling precariously on 6-inch heels, her knees weak at the joint, and her vision blurring behind her usually oh-so reliable contact lenses. 

Sufficed to say, she was definitely drunk. 

“Charlieeeeeee,” Amelia grumbled, her hand reaching desperately to find purchase against the closest wall. 

She glanced up, expecting to meet the gaze of her most handsomest friend – Oops, she thought. Sorry to the Lou-Lou that lives inside my brain! You’re handsome too! – only to see that... oh. He was gone! She could’ve sworn Charlie had been beside her just moments before. In fact, the two had been giggling and throwing back jello-shots at the bar, and her most surf-tastic pal had insisted on taking her for a spin on the dancefloor. If she remembered correctly – and, given her current state of inebriation, it was very possible she didn’t – he’d told her that her dress looked totally mermaidy and that it would look mad sick with the fabric flowing behind her while she spun in circles. Neither of them had paid any mind to the damage she might do to her ankles in these heels, thinking it an even better idea if she decided to – and, again, these were Charlie’s words – Coyote Ugly the shit out of that bartop, dog. And yet, there she stood, not a Charlie in sight. 

It had distantly occurred to her that he’d mentioned something about having a later set that he might need to ditch her for, just for an hour or so, which Amelia thought might even be the reason she’d stopped by this particular club on this particular night? She couldn’t recall, though. All she remembered was that Cheerful Charlie had been having a Not-So Delightful Day and that she’d been feeling equally miserable, and the two had concluded that vodka might be the only solution to their woes. 

Still, Amelia was a big girl and she was sure she could make her own fun without Charlie – until he was done, obviously. Then they’d get back to their whole Coyote Ugly bit, maybe even grab themselves a 3am breakfast to really stick the landing. 

Palm trailing along the wall of the club as she kept herself upright, the sound of Charlie’s set filled the air as she tried to scout out an empty seat – she assumed it was his, anyway. It was very good, so she doubted it could be anybody else’s! After what felt like an eternity of following the outskirts of the room, she still hadn’t managed to find a vacant booth, or even so much as a stool, and her feet were killing her, so she opted instead for sitting on the ground. Her back slid down the wall as her butt hit the ground, and Amy reached forward in a clumsy attempt to try and remove her torturous footwear. 

She was absently aware of the plunging neckline of her dress and the way she was giving half of the venue a bit of a show when a man sidled up next to her, lowering himself down onto the ground next to her. Over the thump of the bass and the current ringing sound that was chorusing through Amelia’s eardrum, she just about managed to catch that his name was Jonah and that he thought she was hot. 

“Oh my God, Jobah – Wait... Jovah... haha, like Jehovah? Sorry, wait. No, I got it... Jonah,” Amelia found herself sounding out his name, her tongue suddenly feeling far too big for her mouth, slippery as it seemed to get tangled around each tricky letter!  

Bemused, Jonah simply stared back at her, smiling back at her rather politely, so she thought! She knew, at that moment, that Jonah had been sent especially for her. Maybe by God, or her mom, or possibly just Charlie. But Jonah was about to be her new best friend for the night, and she found herself twisting her body to face him, a hand clasping his as she told him exactly that! 

“You’re so right, Jonah. I am hot. It’s so hot in here. It’s like, totally four billion degrees. Four billion and one, maybe!” she confirmed, suddenly thrusting her free palm up into the air as she laid the back of her hand against his forehead, as though to prove just how hot she was feeling. 

Amelia’s vision continued to blur as she looked at Jonah and she couldn’t help but feel sorry for him. It wasn’t really his fault she was so drunk, but right now the spinny world was causing her to misread just about every signal, her reality warped as the effects of copious vodka-jellies made it seem as though Jonah was staring directly at her cleavage! She knew her dearest, most darling friend Jonah would never, though. Not by a long shot. 

“Hey, Jonaaaaahhhh,” Amelia called his name out, her hand sliding down his face to cup his cheek. “Could you pretty please go and get me some water?” 

She beamed across at him, awaiting his response as she mulled over that simple word, finding herself in something of a trance as she repeated it over and over again, in varying degrees of silly accents. 

“Wahdurrrr... Wor-ter... Waw-ah... Can you get me a cuppa waw-ah govnah?” Amelia found herself giggling to herself as she watched Jonah disappear towards the bar.

This time, for the "wild objects", EA-stuff wasn´t enough, so I had to use some CC. Because my mod-collection is still in utterly chaos, I was going on the hunt. Bioniczombies alien-plants inspired me to look for any sims3-stuff that is alien-realted.

Actually, I found so much lovely stuff, that I will continue this alien-scenery a little bit, after the challenge is finished :-) !

But first things first - let´s do the counting again, of the 10 things I found at random, plus the 5 wild objects I picked on purpose:

Obviously, some stupid sim was, again, obsessed with looking very hard for some stupid aliens.

Yeah - just talked to this guy, and he told me, some aliens actually showed up on the televsion-screen to finaly answer his desperate calls. He wants them to get him pregnant.

Ugh, you don´t wanna know. This alien-obsessed sim who called that guys, he improvised something whith the monkeybar from his garden. You know how them nerds are.

And before you ask: No, the flowers on the monkey-bar where not grown by them aliens. The sim quit doing any sport and didn´t use that thing for a long time (we already know what he was so busy with instead). So mother nature took over that item.

This stuff from the emerald dream-pack is around 10 years old, and just now I discover it. I already knew Sylvanes' awsome CAS-characters from world of warcraft, but never checked out her mods in detail. Now finaly I did.

The aliens send a device (on the right) to reach out to the WaterFireGod (on the left).

To us, its just the dragonfish as we know it, swimming around, spitting some fire, doing his thing.

To them - its a GOD!

But no matter what questions they asked, the answers of that little guy always sounded to them alien visitors like "42".

So maybe it was just a translation-problem. Everybody knows how sophisticated fishes are if it comes to language. Not everyone is. Maybe them aliens were not that smart how they thought they are.

At least that was the only conclusion for them, they left frustrated (no they didn´t kill anyone out of anger, this time no one died, really, I promise!).

Maybe one day they will come back and give it a try again, after they learned about this guy, douglas adams, and that the answer to everything is, indeed, 42.

And yes, I actually cheated my test-sim to fishing-level 10, put some dragonfish in the ground and made the test-sim fishing that cute guy. I just HAD to, after I found this awsome fishing-bowl from Majik Goldies. It is so old, and because of that the texture so blurred, that one might think, this blurred look of that item is on purpuse :-D

I didn´t now Majik Goldies' stuff before, just learned about that creator a few days ago, by coincidence, because of this little challenge.

Credits for the story go to a lot of people, all of them CC-creators in the first place, and the Creators of the Sims 3 of course, but also guys like Douglas Adams, Chris Metzen, Duncan Jones, Steven Spielberg, and it´s actually impossible for me to remember any more where my brain picked up all that stuff.
