It’s cold up here. All about stepping out of Shamal has been a rush, but the desert felt like a homecoming, and the swamp felt like a classroom. Tal’dorei feels liminal, like an interlude or a daydream.

We arrived at Emon via airship. Fancy things. Terrible security. In another life, maybe, we exploit the fact that the guards have neither light source nor dark-vision to aid their watch, tame a peryton, and come upon them in the dead of night, become proud owners of the Star Duster or some such nonsense.

Emon’s a different kind of sprawling than Ank’Harel. Absent’s the effervescent hustle and bustle of the markets and hagglers in the Jewel of Marquet—the blurry sense of rush and frenzy, winding and weaving, behind, around stalls and veils and smokes and perfumes. The air seems crisper here; a sense of order and hierarchy written in the walls and ways, the grime secreted away into who-knows-where. Emon’s not as massive as Ank’Harel, but it’s monumental—the port harrying about ten times the amount of traffic we saw in The Bay of Gifts, its palace protruding from the city like a crown jewel.

We, Agara Inc, are here for all your pick-up and delivery needs! I’m curious, read hopeful, to meet the dukeling. Get to know him and what he knows. Dyon did seem rather fond of him and they are not the kind of person to be easily impressed (though I suppose knowing someone from infancy does impose a sort of bias).

Sals mutual, [s/o], gets clued in on Sals general location when they recognize a landmark in one of his ghost-sighting photos:

"Is that the Dairy Dutchess on South street? The one where the 'utchess' is always burned out?"

"Yeah, my buddy Brian inhabits the alley between that and Burrito Barn. He got stabbed by a mugger... I wanna say 6 years ago?"

"Woah, can I meet him?"

"Sure, but we have to bring him a waffle cone or else he'll get snippy with me."

Sal arrives early and gets a corner booth so he can take off his prosthetic to eat. [s/o] saw his post that started the big 'horror-husbando' controversy, so it's not like his scars would be anything new for them. [s/o] gasps when he undoes the buckles and sets it aside so he can dig in

Hi! I really like your version of Turn On / Off mod, how it combines the changes from lazyduchess and midge. However there are still some tweaks that I would like to have in my game but I'm lost in all those BHAVs and tokens, I wouldn't know what to change! Would you maybe be willing to help instruct or maybe even create additional version of this mod? No pressure, I'm just asking, I've already seen that both midge and dutchess mention it is very difficult to do. Basically what I would like the most is to have Supernatural and Sci-Fi added from dutchess' mod, and Travel, Influential, Education and Uneducated from midge's mod. How dificult would this be to do? Thanks for any answer!

Hi! I'm not willing to create additional versions of the mod, but I don't mind giving instructions :) I didn't personally find this mod difficult to make as in my case it was just a matter of combining and altering code that already existed, so what you want to do is definitely doable!

You don't mention though what would you replace with these turn on/offs? On a general level, in Turn On/Off - Cache Personal Traits BHAV you should look for part of the code that sets a certain turn on/off (each one of these parts ends to a line that sets the flag for the attraction trait in question) and change that code to whatever you want to incorporate from Lazy Duchess or Midge's mod. If you're replacing turn on/offs that require other BHAVs or are handled in the LUA script, you should delete any stuff that is no longer needed. Finally you would want to edit the text strings and icons to match with the new replacements.

Feel free to ask or DM me if you need more specific instructions! There might be delays in my replies as I have my hands a bit full atm, but I can try to help when I have time.
