This is one of our longest long timers. He has basically given up inside his kennel. Just hiding in his cubby most of the time. Figuring that nobody is going to be looking for them any way. He will come forward when you go to his gate and call for him, because he loves his walks. He loves affection. And he loves just laying next to you chewing on a ball. In our environment, he is not recommended for other dogs. But almost all dogs can learn with enough time in training to be part of a pack. But that’s not always a quick and easy thing. Nobody ever asks to see Blue to think about adopting. Most people just pass by his kennel don’t even know there’s a dog in there. He just patiently waits for his next once weekly or bimonthly walk. Blue has been at our shelter for a while. He’s definitely developed a compulsion for chewing a tennis ball in the yard. He just wants to carry it around and chew on it. Probably relieving stress. Dog needs to get out. Dog needs to decompress. Dog needs someone to take a chance on him. GREAT NEWS Blue is now eligible for the six week free program of training. Any rescue or anyone who adopt him is eligible. Again it’s free. It’s ridiculously impressive.
