Ah autumn. Pumpkin Spice, Spooky Season, and the dropshipping link to that medieval knight hoodie making the rounds again. It's not on sale for $40 or $70 or whatever they say this week. That's its normal price.
If you want one, you can get it from Ali Baba for $25, including shipping. It takes about 6 weeks to arrive.
Pretty much all of the, "oh god I wish I had one of those" posts that contain a link to buy it are dropshippers who understand the Tumblr demographic. On one hand, ugh, get off my feed. On the other - some of it is theoretically neat. I have no idea what the quality of this hoodie is or whether the sizes are remotely translatable to anything Americans would wear. For $25 with that level of detail, I assume a 3x = an American Medium and that the fabric will be about the thickness of a t-shirt.

How to start Business Marketing Without Money
Starting a business without money might seem like a daunting task, but it is possible with some creativity and hard work. One of the first steps in starting a business with no money is to leverage your existing network. Reach out to friends, family members, and colleagues and let them know about your business idea. This can help you gain valuable feedback and potentially even some early customers. Additionally, consider using free marketing channels such as social media and email marketing to reach a wider audience. By posting engaging content and interacting with your followers, you can build a strong online presence and start gaining traction for your business.
Another way to start marketing your business without money is to focus on building relationships with other businesses and industry influencers. Consider reaching out to other businesses in your industry and offering to collaborate with them on a project. This can help you gain exposure to a wider audience and potentially even generate some new leads. Additionally, look for opportunities to guest post on blogs or podcasts in your industry. By sharing your expertise and providing value to others, you can start building a reputation as an authority in your field and attract more attention to your business.

Postage & Packaging Prices for 2023
Over the last few months, we have been working on updates to our Postage & Packaging prices following our own supplier's revised prices. In March, we updated our costs for Print Only orders to the UK and International destinations. At the same time, we created a new set of size brackets, introducing a new Extra Large group for prints larger than A0 (1188 x 841mm); prints larger than this are too big to be sent by mail and therefore need to be sent by a courier service with higher costs.
Last week we completed our update by revising our Postage & Packaging costs for orders with additional finishing options, from prints that are Flat Wrapped or Window Mounted all the way up to our Substrate Mounting, Bespoke Frames and Stretched Canvases.
Our delivery costs for these orders also got a new set of size brackets, taking inspiration from those created for our Print Only orders. We now have Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large for our two categories of Finished Prints; Flat Wrapped and Mounted Prints and Framed and Stretched Canvas Prints.

Here is a graphic to show you all the sizes featured in our Postage & Packaging size breaks. There's more information about this in our Knowledge Base here.
You can find our full and updated price list for Postage & Packaging on our website here.

It's a shame that someone, who's poor dog passed away, framed an AI image unknowingly that was bought off Etsy. However, when people share stories like this, it would be helpful to list the name of the store to prevent others from making future purchases off the scammer.
I don't know why people have such an issue with naming and shaming. If it's to prevent others from being scammed, then absolutely link their store and their name. In no way should anyone be charged $100 for a PROMPT. That's wild and disgusting behavior.
Etsy used to be a great place to shop on. I used to buy my dolls handmade clothes from Etsy and when the pandemic hit, me and my mom bought our customized masks on it.
It's just drop shipping and AliExpress slop on it now. There's nothing handmade or homemade about many of the items being sold. Etsy is so out of touch with their customers and legitimate sellers that instead of addressing issues, they just continue to cringe post on social media. I hate when brands try so hard to be relatable. It's WEIRD.
But, please. If you're going to talk about scummy or gross people, then name and shame. Don't vague post, subtweet, or act extra passive aggressive. Otherwise, what's the point of posting about your experience on social media if you're not going to name who's doing it?

the number of posts i see on here with thousands of notes that are very clearly fake posts advertising dropshipped garbage.
if they’re not obvious to you, the format is usually:
they say just found the coolest lamp, or the cutest earrings, or the funniest t shirt or whatever
then there’s one or more pictures of a product. sometimes there are multiple variations or similar products. they’re usually very good and flattering photos, clearly from a product listing
then the tell of this kind of spam is that after the photos they’ll say something like “for everyone asking where i got them, i found them here” and have a link to a store
this is the clear tell because this is still in the original post, and yet they’re pretending to respond to people asking for a link. in reality, nobody asked, the point of the post is to share to link to the scam store.
usually the store is set up to look like it could be some indie thing where they’re making and selling the products, but everything on there is just dropshipped stuff that you can find on other websites.
A good way to check this is to google the listing name and links will come up on Amazon, Temu, Ali Express, etc
They are usually listed with a huge markup on those sites too compared to elsewhere, and when you look at the reviews on Amazon for example, you’ll see that if it’s not a straight-up bait and switch, the picture will have been extremely flattering and the real product will look awful.
