A link design!!! For a story that’s solid enough in my head to possibly become a comic ehehe

some notes:

Link has been Heroing for some time now, with minimal success. He’s a bit grumpy.

he also has a bulky brown overcoat, but I haven’t figured out what it looks like yet so i didn’t draw it lol

the gloves are to hide his scar, but also help in the cold. Because this Hyrule is rather cold :)

The overtunics are both pretty new, which is the only reason they aren’t torn to bits. The same person who made them mended his pants and made his hat, which is why the patches match cloth in other parts of his outfit.

the scar on his face is from a lizalfos. I figured, if the Dilophosaurus in Jurassic Park gets to spit acid, then shouldn’t a lizalfos get to too? So it’s an acid burn. He’s lucky he dodged most of it!

I’m still figuring out how to accurately depict the scars, so they don’t look quite right yet! With research and practice I’ll get there!

This is the same story the above Zelda design is for!! I’ve posted her design in varying stages before, here, here and here, but the story in the previous posts has changed a bit since!! There are also some really old doodles of Link if you (hehe) follow the links.

the above is Zelda’s formal dress. I designed it with a girl a little younger than her in mind, because she loses most of her wardrobe when she’s about 12! So I really ought to draw this on her younger self XD

Finally, scrapped Ganondorf and Link designs!!!

don’t look into these too much as I’m only putting them here because I’ll never post them otherwise; they do not fit the story at all lol

Ganondorf is gonna be… really hard to design… I made him a very complex character and his personality is so intertwined with the story there is a lot to be taken into account XD

Marin, the girl who finds Link on Toronbo Shores in Link's Awakening, is a counterpart of Zelda from ALttP. She is made from Link's memories of Zelda - and thanks to the princess's telepathic powers, she occasionally has dreams through the eyes of Marin to unknowingly watch over Link on his next adventure. She forgets bits and pieces when she wakes up. That's why I use Zelda's tag for her!

So many people asked me to show my manga and comic collection (that's a lie, only @y0ru42 did) (Hi @y0ru42!).

Anyway, I'm going to show you guys. I don't want to do a long, long post, so I go by parts. I'll start with my spanish edition mangas.

First, Love Hina Deluxe Edition, complete. Classic comedy and romance manga, really funny, with just the right bit of fan service.

Medaka Box, complete. This one is weird and cool, but that's understandable since is from the guy who wrote the Monogatari Series.

Girls und Panzer, and Girls und Panzer: Little Army, complete. I love Girls und Panzer, is such amazing show, and the manga is just as fun. The third volume is in english, I never found it in spanish. It is better to have the collection in two languages ​​than incomplete.

I really hope Little Army II, Saga of Pravda and Ribbon Warrior get licensed at some point.

Little Witch Academia, complete, plus the novel, The Nonsensical Witch. Other serie that I love. Little Witch Academia trapped me forever with the 2017 anime. The art of the manga is gorgeous. The novel is in english.

Someday's Dreamers is a weird one. I was at a super market, and I found both books at a really cheap price. I check it, and when I confirm that they were the only two volumes, I bought it. Is cute.

I'm a big fan of the Zelda franchise. When I had the opportunity to get my hands on a large set of Zelda mangas, I didn't hesitate for a second.

Twilight Princess is the only one I couldn't get complete. I'm still 7 volumes short. I hope I can get them at some point.

Well, that was the first group. I'll return with the english edition mangas at some other point.

A mutual asked about my influences the other day..and I saw this '25 games to get to know me' meme and thought I'd try... only I failed! i messed up! I made two?! WOOPS

unearthing an old loz au :D

Extensive rambling and plot and everything in between below

ok so I made this au over a year ago and the other day in an attempt to procrastinate my brain reminded me of it so here it is! Redesigned!

Ummm basically this version of Hyrule has already fallen to Ganon, and (much like in Narnia) it got very, very cold as a result (I’m still working on the exact ins and out of this, but there IS a reason why lol)

Therefore, Zelda’s clothes are A), very warm, with lots of layers, and B), rather hodgepodged together, as they’re all borrowed. She hasn’t been able to wear her royal clothes in years, as she’s hiding from Ganon. And also most of them burned with Hyrule Castle.

so the embroidered frock (embroidered with flowers for symbolism reasons) thingie is about as princessy as her clothes will get XD

the reason she masquerades as Sheik in this au is more to hide from Link than Ganon. The latter is unaware that the princess escaped, while Link has some issues he’s working through lol

basically, when the kingdom was very suddenly overthrown, a confused and unimportant kid named Link (who was aware of the danger due to reasons I’ll get around to if I post his design), managed to save Zelda, who was still pretty young, and very much terrified. Terrified to see her terrified, Link’s protective side activated, and, well, it never really un-activated after that.

He managed to get her to a quiet, little known town on the outskirts of Hyrule, where some Sheikah (notably Impa) had taken refuge as well. They promised to guard her, and Link headed off to suffer the slow realization that he was a hero alone.

meanwhile, Zelda grew up, and grew stronger, and (once again due to things I won’t quite talk about yet) began to understand her duty towards her people, and to the hero. But, when Link returned to inform Impa of the plans he had made, he was very against Zelda helping him in any way (mainly out of fear for her).

so Zelda came along as Sheik instead :D

A few little things of note, now

I am vaguely basing Link’s inner struggle off my older brother… Link and Zelda do not have a brother/sister relationship however; it ends up a romance >:)

The only difference between Sheik and Zelda is simply that by the time Link sees her again as Sheik, she has dyed her hair and she’s been in the sun a bit more… magic is not involved in this case. Honestly it only works because Link didn’t know Zelda very well before lol

Zelda likes to sew, and garden as much as the climate will let her.

She has a very bright personality, but she takes what other people say to heart. I’ve found whenever I make an loz au, Zelda and/or Link don’t start out with Wisdom and Courage, but rather must gain it to some extent. This story is no different.

In some cases, I focus only on one of them, but this story specifically is about both. They grow together, just like Hyrule must grow again :D

in this story, they are all traumatized. Including Ganon. (he also has a backstory I’m working on hehe)

finally, the sheik design is not final… I’m still working on it lol

There's gonna be a Nintendo direct at 5pm et :D any thoughts or predictions about any new Switch game things?

Off the top of my head, I'm hoping for some Tears of the Kingdom updates, and maaaaayyyyyyyybbbbbbbbe some 3DS games getting ported to the Switch.

But other then that, I'm not sure what to expect, especially with it being the first direct of the year. Who knows what we'll get.

COLOR WHEEL Challenge

So i havent post this on here, so im doing it now since im planning on making this blog alive again.

It's a challenge in which the comments decided who i draw in each color. So far we have made 3 of them.
