i am so excited for this season, it looks so cool! in regards to writing transcripts: without giving my age away too much, i am in college, and i am a single person running this account. as such, the transcripts will be out at the latest a week from the video's release date, though they may be earlier! excited to do this with you guys :D

Drawtectives Season 3 Midnight Alley!!!!!!!

Bit early for any theorizing, but I can't help that the trailer slapped so godsdammed hard.

We seem to be having what I would call a vapour wave noir kinda season, which I am very much here for.

✨ RATS ✨

So we already had rat imagery in the sneak peak art, and continually throughout the trailer. We can safely assume that the very on the nose "rat race" can be taken both literally and metaphorically, knowing the protesters (who's signs I have yet to closely inspect) are protesting corporations, and the pizza man's statement also confirms the idea of small businesses being pushed out by large corporations.

I would assume then, that the rats, of the rat race, are the workers, as is usual, and therefore the snakes are the corporations/corporate interests/CEO's.

I would say that if the one protester to the far left side's sign reads "Rats in our community" somewhat obfuscates that, but let's be real, class traitors are always gonna be a thing.

Plus as the aesthetic is distinctly pointing us to the 80's.

I therefore conclude that the villain of this season is GENTRIFICATION.
