I am currently adding to my board the speculations 'Accomplice? Culprit? Patsy?' because I really can't think of another option.

It was suggested that perhaps he started the vandalism out of a feeling of resentment, and Skeet continued it because he liked how it looked.

It's also worth noting in that case that the 'graffiti' we see on this first piece here is intentional and has no splatter on the floor.

The eyes are covered and the subject is crossed out.

It's also worth noting that not only was this piece clearly originally done in spray paint, but the hair if not the colouring is very reminiscent of Porcino, no?

The other graffiti

Is just random lines and slashes that extend over the sides of the canvas, and leave paint splatter on the floor.

That puts my money on the first, neat and meaningful vandalism (and potentially it was just finishing the piece the way that was intended, re:fully spray paint piece, no splatter) was Porcino.

And Skeet just thought it looked cool so he decided to vandalize the rest.

My only remaining question is how did he get it on his back, under his shirt?

Like i know he's a little guy but still.

When I saw the orange paint under Porcino's sleeve, I thought maybe he had something to do with it too, but nobody mentioned it at all. Like, I don't think Julia would've put that spot of orange there if it didn't mean something, y'know?

See, the impression I'm under here is because they're both meant to be beatniks, like Doofenshmirtz here:

If there's one thing that beatniks are considered to be, it's pretentious.

I'd suggest looking up 'Beatnik fashion' if you'd like to see more examples, but the black turtleneck and beret is the stereotype to my knowledge.

Alright, I was seeing a fair amount of people saying Skeet from Drawtectives season 3 ep 3 looked like Lin-Manuel Miranda—which is fair.

But my immediate thought was that his character design was a nod to Dean McCoppin from The Iron Giant.

Like, am I nuts? (Probably, but that’s beside the point).

this could mean nothing, obviously, but it’s a little strange to me that The Snake’s color palette seems to be bright green and black.

now. This is barely a connection but you know who’s ALSO green and black?

I mean, on one hand his green is bluer and less neon and he has absolutely no motive to commit this crime. On the other hand he doesn’t actually have an alibi for when the theft took place? He wasn’t with the drawtectives… did he really stay at the front desk this whole time?

Y'know, if I wasn't already leaning towards liking The Snake, the fact they didn't get any paint on the floor (unlike certain orange paint users) kinda endears them to me, any bets the green paint is washable too?

Not saying The Snake's plot is an elaborate ploy to draw attention to a serious political issue affecting Midnight Alley, and they are in fact, a good guy.

But I'm not not saying it neither.

So the pertinent information I've gathered from this episode is that Australia is real and America is not.

(the cannon country being Bmerica of course)

And that fake progressive Skeet Highway doesn't know the difference between rodents and marsupials despite doing a residency in Australia.

That and his possum of choice is the Opossum, the American one (Bmerican one?) rather than any of the Australian ones.

Does this have anything to do with The Snake's plot? Probably not, but I find it highly distracting.

Obviously not enough information to go on yet, but I suspect the police actor is in fact the imposter (photograph behind the counter) inserting herself into the story. She overheard that the drawtectives were really actual detectives, and figured that if she couldn't insert herself into a fake mystery, maybe she could create a real one
