The front door of Obscuary creaks open under your touch.

“You’re here,” Lyca says. He flicks a glance at your shoes. “Did you get lost?” 

You flush. You did make a wrong turn or two in the forest but… you made it, didn’t you? “Um. No.”  

Lyca sniffs, frowning. “You smell like the soil from Rui’s garden. That’s not on the way in.” 

“…maybe?” You can’t help the sheepish grin that breaks onto your face, and are rewarded with Lyca’s triumphant snort. “Anyway, what’s this?” 

Lyca glances back down at the corner of the canvas he’s bent over. “Rui asked me to draw something we could hang in the bar. He promised he would buy me paints if I did it, so I did.” 

You walk closer to the canvas to get a better look. The fine lines coalesce into four large shapes under the dim dining room light, vaguely reminiscent of mythical creatures you might have read about once upon a time. “What are these?” 

Lyca points to his left. There is a small book propped open beside the pen he has just set down – comparing the yellowed page to his canvas, you realise he must have been using it as a reference for most of the details. “The idiot grandpa gave me this book and told me to do this. It was the only thing he suggested that Rui agreed to.” 

You wince; you don’t want to imagine what else Ed suggested to Rui. You turn your attention back to the tangle of black strokes on the white surface. 

Nearest to you is a completed tortoise, mouth open and claws pointed and sharp. It is seated atop a stone, and is angled to face a phoenix floating down from the top left. The phoenix, despite being only rendered in swift, short lines, is striking – its wings are outstretched and its glare fierce. Hidden under the furrow of its eyes is a desperate sort of determination you had no idea could be captured in pen. 

In the top right corner, snaking down from a hastily sketched set of clouds is a majestic beast, teeth bared and horns like fire. Scales slick off its back in flames, and its claws extend towards the foreground. It is lit in part by the warmth of the overhead light, but in part by the soft moonlight streaming in through a nearby window; the silver of moonlight makes the creature almost glow. 

You let out a low whistle, impressed. “Is that a dragon?” 

Lyca nods. “They’re supposed to be the four is- es- suspicious beasts.” 

You pause for a moment. “…auspicious?” 

Lyca scrunches his nose. “Yeah. Anyway, Ed says Rui is supposed to be the dragon.” 

You wrack your brain for mentions of the Four Auspicious Beasts – you know you studied something similar for a class two or three months back. “Isn’t it supposed to symbolise power or strength, or something like that?” 

“Yeah.” Lyca scratches the back of his neck. “Rui has the most power out of all of us. Given his curse and all.” 

You half-smile. Once upon a time you’d have said Ed was the strongest in Obscuary – knowing him now and thinking about the dynamics of the house, it makes more sense that their harried and lively vice-captain would be their dragon. 

“What about the tortoise?” 

Lyca frowns, as if it is obvious. He picks up his pen. “It’s that moth-eaten Casanova, of course. Slow and can’t do anything but make gross jokes.” 

Well. You can’t refute that.

“Also, he said it was supposed to represent longevity and stability,” Lyca adds, adding a few pen strokes, “and he’s supposed to live forever, so.” 

You look carefully at what Lyca is sketching. It is half-complete, details on its face yet to be finished. “Is that you?” 

He nods. “Rui said this was a…” he squints back at the tiny reference book, “a Qilin.” 

Makes sense. From what you remember, the qilin symbolised righteousness and integrity, both qualities Lyca possesses in bounds. 

You hum, watching his hands work. “Did you know that qilin are said to be so gentle and respectful of life they don’t step on blades of grass?” 

Lyca looks up at you, briefly. “I step on grass.”

It pulls a laugh out of you. “Yeah, well, but you’re still one of the most respectful ghouls I know.” 

You feel Lyca straighten a little at that, almost like he’s holding back a beam. He lets out a small huff. “Well. That’s what Suba told me to do.” 

If his tail was out it’d be wagging. You bite back a smile. “That’s good!” 

A silence lapses over the both of you for a few minutes as you watch his pen glide across the canvas. Your eyes wander back, again, to the eyes of the phoenix. 

Come to think of it, aren’t there only three occupants in Obscuary? You know that the set needs all four to be complete, but if Rui was the dragon, Ed the tortoise and Lyca the qilin, who was the phoenix? 

“Lyca, who’s that supposed to be then? Since there are only three of you.” 

Lyca slides a glance at you, brows furrowed as if he cannot fathom why you would be asking. “Isn’t it obvious? That’s you.” 

You blink. 

He taps the back of his pen on the reference book. The little taps are heavy on the lump growing in your throat. “The old man said phoenixes mean rebirth. After you’re cured, you’re gonna have your second life, right?”

His tone is so matter-of-fact, as if he has never had a doubt that you’d be cured, that whatever response you might have had swells in your lungs and stays there. 

The weight of his conviction sinks into the surface of your mind. You know the Mortkranken ghouls have been working overtime for you, you know the Hotarubi ghouls have been poring over dusty old tomes for more information, you know the rest of the ghouls have been working on your curse in their own ways and yet… 

And yet some part of you has never dared to hope for the success of a cure.

Problem: Maths (& Physics) have too many cases where a symbol is used, confusingly, to mean multiple different things, leading to ambiguity and headaches. Mick is a fairly open-minded guy, so as long as it's not something dangerous, and you're into it, he wouldn't mind trying and taking the risks - that mindset made you guys have a quickie in the bathroom during a family gathering btw. He prefers to play it safe, but sometimes it's just too tempting.

S — Stamina (how many rounds can he go? How long does he last?)

He's a professional athlete, so his body is trained to endure a lot, and have the energy to go on and about, which means he can go for how many rounds you want to (especially because he usually likes to use his fingers and tongue too). Most of the time, you guys will go two or three times the same night, but it all depends on the day. During race week, for example, it's just one round. Mick lasts long enough to make you cum, he likes to wait for you.

T — Toys (does he use/own any?)

He likes to use your vibrators on you, and he doesn't mind when you use them on him. He doesn't own any though.

U — Unfair (how much does he tease?)

He usually teases you more during sex than before sex, that is because he usually can’t handle your teasings, therefore he makes a point of not teasing you too much because there’s always a comeback. Mick usually groans and grunts a lot, he likes to moan lowly in your ear too. If you're alone, he's loud and vocal, but if you're somewhere else and there are people in the next room he can keep quiet just grunting on your neck.

W — Wild card (random headcanon for him)

Mick is a switch so he likes to be ordered around every once in a while, he finds it hot and he likes the idea of you using his body to your own pleasure. During those times he goes feral when you try to choke him. And he will most likely curse and dirty talk to you in german.

X — X-ray (what’s under his clothes?)

He has length and girth, Mick's packed and he knows it. He's a bit bigger than the average, but nothing too big to make the experience uncomfortable.

Y — Yearning (how high is his sex drive?)

It’s high. Mick is a lover by nature so he is ready to go most of the times, you just gotta say the words and he will make you feel good.

Z — Zzz (how quickly he falls asleep afterward)

It depends on the day. Mick likes to wait for you to fall asleep before he does, so it takes some long minutes, but sometimes during race week, he's asleep in the blink of an eye because of how tiring the routine can be.

Saw you ask about ppls AUs uh

Most of mine, admittingly, don't have designs yet. At least not drawn ones. Oops!!

But I can like?? Still ramble ig?

I also have a swap AU! I haven't posted a lot ab it, but it's called Solver Shift.

In it I put Sam in Cyns place. So the DDs have pink accents (wasn't comfortable using Doll and making them red, despite barely drawing DD armbands anyways - personally at least)

Some places I'm still unsure about, like idk whether Khan and Nori should be direct swaps with Ron & Tessa or should be put in Tessas parents position. If I go the latter idk who to put in Tessas place lol.

Ron and Tessa weren't actually ever romantically involved. They were just best friends, and were like "well we live together, we both kinda wanna know what having kids is like. So let's raise one together"; insert Nuke (N) being built. Tess survived a few years into his life, they built Cyn and then yada yada you know the story - dead mom

If it wasn't obvious by Ns name, the rail gun gets replaced by explosives. Thank Cyn for that, it was her idea. (They both take canonverse Uzi her engineering skills, but Cyn takes the more unhinged aspect of the personality.) - Nuke was like "we gotta do something about the DDs but idk what!" And Cyn, sparkly eyed and all, was like "Let's blow them up!"

I need to figure out some episode stand ins seeing as Cyn is younger but still sticks to N like glue. Beau takes Dolls place, they'd be Similar in age to Cyn (aka I gotta give them a body design F)

Oh also, as for befriending the DDs -- whilst Ep1 would run similar to canon; after that Thad/T would bond faster with the siblings than Uzi/Z bc they keep their canonverse personalities mostly!! So that's a reverse. Also T wouldnt want to kill the Prom unlike V, he just genuinely wants to make friends 😭

Don't ask me why Beau is at the prom, being younger and all. Might just make it an all years general prom rather than just the graduating class.

Next AU yay

Blood & Bats is a Vampire/Human AU! DDS and Solver Drones are vampires, you get the gyst!

N & Cyn are bio siblings, got separated bc of a divorce. Eventually both were separately taken away for shitty parenting, one of which caused Cyn to get vampirism one way or another. She also has DID/OSDD1 in this AU, the Solver conciousness isn't an evil entity here, just s Persecutor under the definition of "Misguided Protector who hurts as a form of protection" -- they're basically just a terrified vampire kid who thinks they're a danger and thinks isolation is the only way to keep their lived ones safe.

At some point the Elliots adopt N, later Cyn too. They also have previously adopted V and J. As time goes on, the alphabet trio one by one get turned by Cyn/Solver but they catch her after that so Tessa never is turned.

Uzi is basically a half vampire. Her mom was one, her dad wasn't. I don't remember the details atm, but I assume I've posted them somewhere in the tag on my account, but iirc Khan killed Nori in a moment of shock and survival instinct when finding out. Uzi doesn't know this. She finds out later after being turned herself (on accident!) - either through N or Cyn. Might do N to draw a parallel to the miscommunication between ep 2 and 3. Bc yeah Uzi would assume it's on purpose and he broke a promise.

Once they fix things, she finds out about her dad killing her mom and she runs away from home, terrified he might kill her too -- she crashes at the siblings place OR Thads place. I'm not sure yet. Both have pros and cons.

Khan cant easily access the manor, needs to be at an event for it. But the parents would want Uzi OUT asap. On Thads end; Teacher (Thad and Lizzy are either step or half siblings idk yet) and Ron (uncle, moved in after his sister died to help with the kids!) Would not let Khan take Uzi home sending as they see her terrified. They don't know what happened. But Khan has easier access bc he's friends with Teacher and obviously Lizzy is there which Uzi isn't thrilled about.

That's as far as I can remember the storyline -- there would still be parallels to some episodes! Ep 4 would still happen! Just some would survive! Rebecca would be found by one of the alphabet trio and turned to save her life. She's wheelchair bound after that. Sam survives but everyone thinks he got too high and doesn't believe him when he talks rambling about Uzis vampire form (Becca keeps it secret bc like if she says something it by extension endangers the other vampires in the school which now includes herself)

Intertwined/Inteetwinjng Codes (Me when I keep going back and forth between both titles) is a next gen AU thing. It started off as a joke,,, oh well

Kids.

These little shits are twins, they started this whole rabbithole. They would boot up sometime after Ep 4.

Later on their parents would want to program another kid & adopt one. Invert Annika and Zagi, except unexpected thing happened and they now have two babies to upload. Insert Raven.

Annika is currently undergoing redesign, ignore how basic she looks compared to her siblings lol.

As for the last 2 kids -- they didn't WANT any more, but when being sent to another colony they run into this toddler with a baby, who are being attacked by other DDs so they step in. Whilst they argue with N, Uzi gets the kids to safety. They were gonna keep the kids at their place for that night but Olicia did NOT want to sleep in the same place as a DD & a ton of half DDs -- so Thad gets called at 3am 😭 hes the cool uncle to their kids so yk

Next day it turns out adoption wing is full, so the siblings get passed around Thad, Uzis dad and Nuzi a ton (their own colony got killed so they cant go back there) until Ray gets attached to Nuzi, and you shouldn't separate a baby from its bonded adults. Seeing as he already lost the code related parents, they didn't want to risk further hurting his programming. So the siblings were basically accidentally adopted by Nuzi, despite Olivia not being happy about it at first. But she didn't want to separate from Ray.

That's mostly that. Theres not too much lore tbh. Just a silly half joke AU.

Also I have 6 siblings IRL so I tend to like give my ship kids many siblings 😭 so ignore that fact lol, just projecting

Then theres like 3 more Cyn centric AUs.

2 are pretty small.

DD!Cyn AU that has no name yet is just the AS uploaded a copy of Cyn/the Base Drones conciousness into a DD body and kept her with the trio. That'll lead to major Identity crisis once Cyn realizes technically she's a clone and her memories aren't *hers*. Aside from that: Cyn and J constantly have beef bc of J abusing N, Cyn tries to get her to stop but just faces verbal abuse herself in return :(

Shes also pretty distrusting of Uzi at first bc like!! Nobody except Cyn ever spent time with N!! That's a Drone getting close to her big brother which possibly could hurt him in the long run if she turns out to be like the other teammates!! (She eventually warms up to her)

Then there is Trapped/Hivemind AU. Literally just Cyn trapped in the hivemind, unable to reach her body for control. She can HEAR the other Solver Drones and the DDs, as they're all part of the hivemind. But she can't communicate with them. No matter how hard she tries.

Especially when she hears N she will call out to him but not get a response

So shes probably on the brink of losing it

Then there is "Dormant" Absolute Solver

Originally it was gonna be "The AS lost interest in Cyn as a host" and ig it still kind of is correct-? I need to go back and forth between certain aspects lol

But long story short, Cyn now got a separate body from the AS, doesn't know it killed Tessa & comes to C9 with J & "Tessa". The AS just brought her as a tool to manipulate N with, but she doesn't know that. Cyn joins the group from ep 6 onwards. Yay more PTSD for the child I guess :)

I havent written out ep 6 yet but I think she'd be with N & "Tessa" for that part.

Ep 7 she ends up on the side of the rocks with Uzi, and walks at a distance after being told to basically F off bc Uzi doesn't trust her now but Cyn is scared to be alone. Uzi notices Cyn isn't okay tho.

Might I add that seeing Uzis wings and tail in ep 6 would have majorly triggered Cyns PTSD but shes unaware of why she feels so scared. So seeing Uzis tail the whole time definitely adds onto the stress =)

During the fight Uzi would reach out to Cyn through the hivemind, both girls calling out to N through Cyns body. The AS doesn't like that and forcefully shuts Cyn down. It has admin rights over her after all.

By the time Cyn wakes up, the AS is grabbing her to blackmail N after just having eaten Doll. Talking about how he wouldnt want to hurt his baby sister (hes aiming his laser cannon at the AS for context). Then it gets bored, drops Cyn and the regular program ensures. Except Cyn took Tessas gun and shoots herself free from the tentacles and runs to the pit after seeing Nuzi be pulled in. Whilst shes there trying to figure out how to get them back up (seeing as she cant use her Solver on them, or at least not Uzi. The show us so unclear if it works on DDs or not) the scene goes on.

I'm not sure yet who Cyn will stick with, probably N bc I've more ideas. BUT also I'm waiting for episode 8 to decide that for sure. Same with the ending. I got multiple bad ending ideas and also a good ending :) ep 8 will determine which one will be canon :)

Oh yeah Cyn lol -- both new and old ref bc of the oil canister I didn't draw in the new one yet. She still has it as you can see by the oil tubes!

Also the Good!Ending DAS!N would run a Daycare post canon. IC!N also runs one. I just like having N work with kids.

OKAY THIS ONE'S SUPER IN DEPTH I'M HEAVILY INTRIGUED. MULTIPLE AU'S DUDE!! I LOVE IT, KEEP EM COMING. Loving the ideas behind the swap AU. Putting Sam in Cyn's place is unique, I hadn't heard anyone do that before!! Also the thing about using pink is fair, I did use red but I didn't keep that in mind! A vampire AU's extremely fitting for Murder Drones, being a substitute for the Solver/Disassembly model. Since ep. 4 is my favorite, I love the fact it'd still play out here. Also I must say I REALLY like the next gen AU designs??? I actually kinda wish we saw more next gen stuff, or maybe I'm just not looking in the right places. Either way I very specifically love Rexim and Raven's designs, I think the color choices are really speaking to me. ALSO ALL THE CYN FANS ARE GONNA BE EATING UP THE CYN-CENTRIC AU'S. But it seems like the poor girl could never catch a break. WONDERFUL WORK ALL AROUND!!

“You two can come with me?” Jayce asks hopefully “You can drink yourself under the table,” he tells Viktor before looking at James “and you can hang out with Cait”

“I love a party but I am very not interested in meeting rich people who will ask me questions in very fast Piltovian. Maybe next time” She pats his bicep in consolation.

Jayce walks out the door with his sad puppy dog eyes. “If I don’t return home I’ve been eaten alive by the Piltovian elite”

“Yes yes, Drahý, we will miss you profoundly”

“Your funeral will be the event of the century”

Viktor snorts at James’ comment. Soon after, the two leave to head for one of the art studios at the academy.

The art studio is a bright and open room with a skylight glass dome ceiling. There’s a mix of seating and work setups with different medium options throughout the room, some James is familiar with, others she is not.

The room is filled with warm lighting and there’s a large terrace that draws her eye.

“Why can’t this be your lab,” James says in exacerbation.

“I think the council would get sick and tired from constantly replacing the planes of glass”

“Or they do not replace them and you could finally get some fresh air”

“What are you implying?”

“You and Jayce are two all-nighters away from becoming reclusive hermits”

“I will not dignify that with a response” He huffs, “but I will say good work on expanding your vocabulary”

He moves over to the area with all the materials.

“Do you know what you would like to use?”

“This is new” she picks up an odd-looking pen before picking up a set of compressed charcoal “but maybe I have too much new in my life. Tonight I would like something I know, I want some familiar”

“Something familiar to soothe the soul” He knows the feeling all too well. Coming to Piltover had been the opportunity of a lifetime but it was alienating, to say the least. He left all he knew to a city where the people looked down on him more than they already did.

Viktor moves onto the terrace overlooking Piltover, he sits on a chair that supports his back and an easel in front of him so he can look over the city. He dips his pen into a pot of black ink before starting on the page in front of him.

James sits beside him but on an angle so he cannot see her page and they sit for a little bit in silence as they start on their pieces.

Viktor shifts in his seat before asking James “Did you make art back in your world?”

She looks at him before answering.

“I did, but not always. When I was younger I had hard time with making art. I wanted it always to be perfect but art is never perfect, so I stopped and then I did not practice and I just got worse. It became this cruel cycle that I would torture myself with. I did it in every part of my life but it was particularly bad with art.”

“And now?”

“I am better with it now, but sometimes I catch myself falling into the same habits”

“What do you do when you fall into habits again??”

“It depends. I let myself take a small break but then I push through the doubt. If I try I could become better, but if I do not even try, I will never be more than what I am now”

Viktor digests her response, the words weighing heavy on him.

“People from the undercity, from Zaun are not valued here or not viewed the same as the people of Piltover. Being here I feel I must always be perfect or they will feel justified in seeing me as lesser. All my work must be perfect, I must be perfect, both inside and out”

“I know it is not the same but if you spend your whole life trying to fit their standards you will spend your life wasting away because you will be living it for other people” She meets his eyes again. “I think you are perfect just the way you are Viktor. You fight your battles when you can but I have found the only opinions I should care about are those of the ones closest to me”

“And who are those closest to you?”

The question’s impact on James is clear the second it leaves his mouth. He feels like he picked at a scab and is now watching it start to bleed again.

“I do not know anymore, many of my friends and family are not with me anymore”

“I am sorry, I did not mean to pry”

“It is okay, I still have friends, they are just not that close to me. I had two little brothers but they are gone now. I miss them very much,” she says with a small smile, there is sadness in her voice but it does not weigh her down. She will always carry it but as one goes on, you become used to it.

He rethinks the scab. Yes, peeling it off hurts but feeling the warmth of the blood and placing a band-aid on it brings some sort of odd comfort, as if yes this caused me pain but there will always be warmth and healing afterwards. And once the scab is gone, it doesn’t hurt but it will leave a scar, a reminder of what was.

“I never had any siblings growing up, I always wondered what it was like”

“Very loud” she giggles at her answer, reminiscing at memories, “almost like living with you and Jayce”

“I am glad we are making you feel so welcome” he responds sarcastically

“No no, I feel welcomed with you. You and Jayce are new, but I feel like I know you, you feel familiar, you feel like 𝝺𝝠𝟇𝜓”

He does not understand the last word but he senses the loaded emotional weight behind it. James clears her throat before starting on her piece again. A sly grin works its way onto her face before she speaks again.

“I especially love the singing in the shower”

“You heard that?”

“Yes, I remember when that one new song came out and all Jayce could do was sing it and eventually you started sing it too”

“Ugghh do not remind me, you will get it stuck in my head again”

“Woe is me, I will have to listen to your beautiful singing again, whatever will I do” She bats her lashes playing up a damsel.

“Do not mock me, my weak heart cannot take it”

“Me mock you? Never”

They carry on throughout the night, bantering and dipping in and out of comfortable silence and conversation, until they hear a loud voice from behind the doors.

“VVVIKKKKKTORRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!! JAAAAAAAMMMMESSSSS!!!!!!”

Jayce pushes the doors wide open, almost falling on his face in the process. When he sees the two he breaks out into a sprint to get to them.

“Jayce quiet down you big himbo”

“He’s so mean to me” he whines, lying down on the same sofa James is, placing his head on her lap.

“Awww poor baby,” She says while running her fingers through his hair. “Did you have fun at the party?”

“No” he says with a petulant frown “They poked at me all night, paraded me around like some exotic pet. All I wanted was to be with you and Viktor instead”

“Well, you are here now”

When Viktor looks at the pair sitting on the sofa, he expects to feel a twinge of jealousy but all he feels is comfort watching the two. He actually thinks he’d fit right in with the pair.

Jayce gasps.

“Did you draw this? James, this is incredible! It looks just like him!”

Pink blush finds its way onto James’ cheeks as her art is revealed.

“I normally draw people and Viktor was the only person here tonight” she says bashfully.

Viktor moves closer to the pair, seeing her drawing for the first time tonight, he is shocked by the detail and level of shading she achieved. He’s also slightly sheepish to be seeing himself on the large paper.

“It is very good, although I am normally not the subject of people’s artwork”

Jayce whispers, or what drunk Jayce considers whispering, into James' ear.

“I have about 5 sketchbooks at home that are full of him” James giggles at his words, “Don’t believe a word he says, he’s a compulsive liar”

Viktor sits beside the two, enjoying the bubble that seems to have enveloped the three. He thinks of how their friendship is and how James has made her way into their little family. James is such an amazing friend.

The next day Viktor wakes up to a note on Jayce's side of the bed informing him that he and James have gone off to work in the forge. Viktor may be able to handle his alcohol well (to a certain point), but as seen last night Jayce absolutely cannot. However, the difference between the two men is that Jayce will never get a hangover no matter how much he drinks, while Viktor will get the most mind-rotting headache if he drinks too much.

Viktor walks into the forge and for a second he isn’t sure if he’s still alive. He’s never believed in gods but feels like he’s being tested by one with the scene in front of him. Jayce is pulling the handle to heat up the hearth; he’s shirtless, muscles on full display, sweat dripping down his chest. That alone is enough to stop him in his tracks but what he sees beside Jayce is enough to short-circuit his brain; James is standing over an anvil, repeatedly swinging a hammer onto a piece of metal. She and Jayce have matching marks of soot all over them but how James contrasts him is that her muscle definition only shows when she swings the hammer. She’s covered in a sheen of sweat and hairs fly out of her ponytail. And oh yeah the only top she’s wearing is a sports bra. Viktor can see from where he’s standing, her breasts pushed closer to her body and the expanse of her stomach. He thinks he’s going to pass away or cum in his pants. He wants to see her like this while she rides him. The sounds of exertion she makes with every swing are the sounds he wants to hear every time he thrusts into her.

The realization hits him just like James hitting the hammer onto the rod of metal. He then feels incredibly stupid at his thoughts from last night. For such a smart man he was so very dumb when it came to his own emotions. He’s also very good at lying to himself. Ha friend. Sure, she’s a friend, if by a friend you mean someone you want to fuck 8 ways to Sunday and then watch them fall asleep in your arms.

“Viktor!” James notices him standing there, “Look! I am making a knife!”

Jayce places an arm around her shoulders. “She’s making a dagger. I thought she should have her own weapon 'cause she keeps using our screwdrivers” He says with a laugh. Viktor wants to strangle Jayce for laughing when he’s in such a state of distress.

As the two move closer, they notice Viktor’s practically drooling face.

“Jayce has never heard of PPE or a shirt” James comments assuming it’s his boyfriend that has his face so flush.

“And yet who also took off their shirt”

“This is my first time at a forge, I was just following you!”

“It’s better to do it without a shirt, that way all the energy and rage of the forge goes directly to you,” He says while trying to hide a shit-eating grin.

“Ha that’s such bullshit, Jayce 𝞾𝝠𝞒 ’𝞀𝜓 𝟇𝞾 𝝇𝜩𝞃𝝠𝞒𝞀𝛃𝞔𝜓 𝝺𝛃𝟇𝜣𝝠,” she says affectionately.

“Gods, the flames of hell would be less torturous than this” Viktor muttered.

“What did you say, Viktor?” James asks.

For a moment Viktor feels a little guilty and then he sees the look of adoration on Jayce’s face when he looks at James’ face. Viktor then decides that he is allowed to be in love with James.
