Who is Carlos Drambuie?
It's my "Drunk Blogger" name. Or at least, a kind of drunk blogger persona. I don't acually want to post whilst drunk. Rather, this will be a place about good wines, and cocktail recipes. But this first post, is about some of the AI created pics I made to illustrate Carlos Drambuie. I chose the one above for the masthead, because of the three hands; one to hold the bottle, one to hold the drink, and one to pontificate with. This one was also quite grand:
The Great Drunken Mystic, Carlos Drambuie. Angels and all. But... a tad too serious? Unless those books in his lap are cocktail recipes... This one was fun:
It has a kinda Tequila, Wild West thing going on.
There were others too, like this one...
Love the pterodactyls in the background, and the creative spelling. Just what you might expect from a pickled Mystic... And I nearly picked this one:
Holding a fine cocktail... though he kinda looks the way I feel, when I know I've drank too much... at that point, it's not much fun anymore! So in the end, I think the three hands really was the best choice.

drinks i can do. full recipes under the cut
FIDDLES' MEZCAL OLD FASHIONED
2 oz mezcal (i like El Silencio Espadin)
1 bar spoon of agave syrup (mix .25:1 ratio of agave and hot water -- stir until pourable)
4 dashes orange bitters
2 dashes Aztec chocolate bitters
2 dashes Angosturra bitters
1 pinch salt
Stir over ice
Peel and express an orange peel
PUMPKIN JACK
1 oz Case One rum (only made in Maryland -- a similar aged rum will do, but Case One has a butterscotch-y taste that lends itself well to dessert drinks)
.5 oz Amaretto of choice (i prefer Disaronno)
2 oz fresh poured espresso
Top with hot water
Float pumpkin whipped cream (cook down one can of 1:1:2 can of pumpkin puree:granulated sugar:water until thickened. Strain through a chamois or cheesecloth. Add pumpkin syrup 1:2 parts heavy whipping cream and shake until pourable consistency)
Grate fresh nutmeg
Served in an Irish coffee or cone glass.
DRUMS OF AUTUMN
1.5 oz Hennessey VS
.5 oz Cherry Heering
.5 oz Drambuie liqueur
1 oz St. George spiced pear liqueur
Stir over ice
Garnish with Luxardo cherry and dehydrated orange peel
Served in a double rocks glass
DEWAR'S DECIBEL
1.5 oz Dewar's scotch
.5 hazelnut syrup
1 oz velvet falernum
.25 lemon juice
Shake and dump into tall Collins glass
Top with soda water
Garnish with dehydrated lemon and edible flowers
GOLDEN HOUR
1.5 oz McClintock Forager gin (also only made in Maryland. Wild foraged gin preferred)
1 oz sage tincture (add 1/4 quart/.25 liters fresh sage to container. cover with vodka or neutral grain spirit. Let steep for 24 hours, then strain through chamois or cheesecloth)
.5 oz blanc vermouth
2 dashes cardamom bitters
1 dash lemon bitters
Served in a martini or coup glass
Garnish with lemon peel and edible flowers
LAST DAY OF SUMMER
This is a difficult cocktail because it requires a dehydrator (or an oven set to a very low temperature, and a few extra steps. First: make dehydrated brown sugar pineapples.
Either cut pineapples into wheels, or remove pineapple wheels from cans. Coat with brown sugar, then arrange onto a baking sheet (if you're dehydrating in an oven, place another baking sheet underneath). Place in dehydrator or oven set to the lowest setting and dehydrate. The brown sugar will turn syrupy and thick. Reserve pineapple brown sugar syrup.)
.75 oz bourbon
.5 oz lemon juice
.5 oz Ancho Reyes chili liqueur
.75 pineapple brown sugar
Shake and dump into double rocks glass
Garnish with dehydrated pineapple
#unsure how to tag this#i have more recipes if you want them but theses are cocktails ive invented pretty much

went to get water from the fridge and. guess what dumb bitch has had oat milk literally this entire goddamn time
absolutely hate seeing a recipe that i really want to make but is too impractical to justify the effort and expense involved. i want to try an atholl brose so bad what do you mean the ingredients "would require going to at least two different stores" and "would have a shit-ton left over" and therefore "would require that i either throw out nearly-full cartons of cream and oat milk or spend even more money on ingredients for recipes to use up the leftovers"

Can you give us more Heat(/Wire) hcs please 😭😭 I love your blog sm <<33
you ask and you shall receive
Heat gets flustered easily and everything makes him blush
He likes to be the big spoon
He's a massive Marina stan
Loves spicey food and anything with herbs in it
Wire was his bisexual awakening
He saw Wire whilst their gangs were fighting and blushed when Wire tried to punch him
Heat's family used to run a traveling circus before they settled down on the island he grew up on
He's always surprising the crew by pulling out some random circus related skill that no one expects him to have
His father was a sword swallower and breath fire, which is who Heat learned from
Also has no gag reflex anymore
His mother was a trapeze artist and taught Heat everything she knew
Has a younger sister
His favourite alcoholic drink is Drambuie
His favourite non-alcoholic drink is hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream
Heat's parents love Wire and regularly send him gift packages
His closest friends on the crew include Noe, Haikei, Killer, Bubblegum and Hop
Heat and Wire used to sneak away from their gangs (who were technically at war with each other) to make out when they were teenagers
Literally everybody knew but they all pretended not to know
Often lies awake at night stressing about embarrassing and awkward things he's said
Used to make Wire flower crowns in their teens since they would sneak off to fields
Loves when his hair is played with or when he gets kissed
His favourite memories are almost all of his dates with Wire when they used to sneak around on their island, especially the memory where he taught Wire how to tightrope walk
Cries at everything in movies (sad scenes, happy scenes, romantic scenes)
Laughs at scary movies that involves clowns
Was probably a former clown for his circus, but no one has actually been able to find out
Wire does know since he accidentally saw pictures of Heat in clown makeup trying to fight another clown from a rival circus, but he's sworn to secrecy about it
His favourite movie would probably be the Sharknado or Monty Python movies
Briefly carried around a step ladder so he could kiss Wire without straining his neck
#i love writing for heat#because of how little we know about him i can just make up so much random shit about him and claim it as canon#and there's no proof that it's not#one piece#kid pirates#eustass kid#one piece x reader#one piece headcanons#killer one piece#killer#heat one piece#heat x reader#heat x wire#wire x reader#wire x heat#wire one piece#wire op#heat op#one piece fluff#one piece angst#heat headcanons#wire headcanons
