Akira Toriyama - Creator/Writer/Artist on Dragon Ball and Sand Land and Dr. Slump, Artist for Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger and Blue Dragon - Dies at 68

I know everybody's talking about it, but I feel like everyone is focusing 100% on how he was the Dragon Ball guy. And while that's undoubtedly his most famous work, I'd say that he had many famous works. He designed all of the Dragon Quest series' characters, which is probably his second-biggest contribution to culture. He also created/designed both characters and settings for the seminal RPG Chrono Trigger, designed the characters for the Tobal series of fighting games, designed all characers for the Blue Dragon series, and wrote/drew NUMEROUS other manga, with his second-most-famous probably being either Sand Land or Dr. Slump. You're lucky I haven't written an idea where Kafka adopts three kids from different franchises like Movie!Sonic, OoT/MM Link and Hatching Second Can!Psaro. He would do it too despite the insane shenanigans.

A Pokemon Trainer would be the perfect person to help Psaro understand that not all humans are bad. Especially if they have Pokemon who were either troubled souls or no one ever gave a chance until they came along. It would be hook, line, and sinker as Psaro definitely want to meet them when there's rumors of a peculiar human child with strange monster companions. Plus Rose needs backup if she really wants our dear cambion to understand.

Like if I'm some random mercenary adventurer with delusions of grandeur and too many friends with hairbrained schemes I keep funding (Hawke) then yeah poking my nose into every random bit of interpersonal drama I can find and throwing rocks at every cave that's supposed to have a monster in it just in case money falls out makes total sense. When I'm theoretically a divinely anointed quasi-sovereign ruler with hosts and fortresses wearing my banner and courts enacting justice in my name like - why I am looking for this farmer's lost cattle? Do I not have people for this? And better things to do with my ostensibly valuable time? What sort of inner circle lets the holy symbol literally 100% of their legitimacy rests on risk death by gangrene fighting some random band of deserters looking for a widow's ring?

Was Ai really upset that they never got too properly spend time with Psaro before they had too leave?

Ai was really upset and super salty about the whole thing. He never got the proper chance to even introduce himself to their whelp! Psaro is his kid too since Ai and Kafka are essentially the same person.

He absolutely introduces himself the moment those two(Psaro/Goobert) popped up at the cleaning site. Kafka made sure to plan a schedule ahead of time just so Ai wouldn't keep him up at night begging to see their whelp.

Luke's quest lives rent free in my mind.

Like Luke was sent on an unnecessary, dangerous quest for Hermes' personal satisfaction, faced a giant hundred-headed dragon that took out his quest mates, and his only injury was a baby kitten scratch?

A giant hundred headed dragon so scary our resident monster slayer, Percy, was like "actually I'll pass on this one."

Left a teeny tiny little scar on Luke.

And for some reason this is why quests were banned for two years?

Make it make sense????
