Jakeem: Wait, hold on, let me get this straight.
*points to Roy* I already knew he’s kinda like your dad
*points to Neal* and Dr. Pole-watzit’s your uncle
*points to the Als* and you found out those two are your bio- dad and godbrother… exactly how many heroes and villains are you related to, man?!
Grant: Well, you probably won’t believe this,

Guy Gardner was introduced in Green Lantern vol 2 59# with a cover date of March, 1968. Hal Jordan was shown an alternate history where Guy Gardner was chosen to be the Green Lantern instead of him. It turned out the only reason Jordan was chosen over Gardner, was Jordan was closer at the time. After witnessing what could have been, Hal Jordan saught out the man who could have been the Green Lantern. Hal Jordan was created by John Broome and Gil Kane. The idea was Garnder would become a back up for Jordan, but when the opportunity finally came (Green Lantern vol 2 87), Gardner was not eligible because he was recovering from being hit by a bus. Gardner finally did become a Green Lantern some time later. (Green Lantern vol 2 116) ("Earth's Other Green Lantern", Green Lantern vol 2 59#, DC Comic Event)

Video by Dr. Polaris about how everyone's favorite giant hoofed wolf, Andrewsarchus, was probably more like a giant land-hippo that lived like a bear.
All of this is still based on one skull and scattered teeth from Mongolia, so it is inherently subject to change.
But get mad because they "stole" the wolf-monster ancestor of sheep from you, even though that wasn't remotely an accurate way of describing it in the first place.

Jeff they are TERRIFIED. Someone is kidnapping supervillains and shipping them off to an alien planet and they won't even tell anybody WHERE. Why would they break out when you're their only hope?

Although the two characters were made only two months apart, they are similar in most of the traits which are; Both are supervillains who can control magnetic forces and move metals, but Marvel developed the idea by making Magneto within the X-Men universe, so that Magneto became one of Marvel's most important characters, unlike Doctor Polaris, who did not have much luck.

*On their way to retrieve their collective emo*
Roy: I can’t believe you idiots lost Grant!
Al: Hey, this isn’t our fault! We’re ALL worried about him!
Jesse, while Rick comforts her: God, if anything’s happened to him- I won’t be able to live with myself!
Neal, in full Dr. Polaris gear, calmly: Oh, none of you will need to.
Roy: we know, Neal.
Neal: because I’ll kill you.
Roy: we know, Neal.
Tom, in the background with Lian: 😬

A degree wouldn't make him a Doctor, a PhD would make him a Doctor.
A degree makes him "Mr Polaris BSc" or "Mr Polaris MSc" at best.
I suspect he killed all his friends because they kept reminding him of that.

He didn't spend all those years at Evil Medical School to be called Mr Polaris O.O
